A/N: What a great response to Day 1! Thank you so much for all the comments, kudos, reblogs, and just overall support for this fic. Rest assured, I'm doing my best to catch up with all of them. I did wanna explain one thing about this story though as there seemed to be some confusion: Sharon and Andy will be alternating days with gift giving in this story as 48 chapters was a bit much for me to take on. So, I made them alternate every other day and do 12 days each. Logistically, it just worked better for me when writing. I hope you still enjoy.
Again, thank you so much for all of the support for this fic! It truly means the world to me as I have been working on this fic since October (and am still working on the bonus epilogue for Dec. 25th) and I'm just so glad it's getting such a warm reception by the Shandy fandom. Y'all are the best!
Day 2: December 2nd
It was now December second and they were still working their latest case.
Sharon had placed Andy's gift atop his desk, which he instantly saw.
He decided now was a good time to take a break.
So, as he went to go refill his coffee, Andy took the small blue box with him and set it on the break room counter while he refilled his mug with coffee.
Afterwards, he turned around and set his steaming mug next to the blue box, as he opened the box.
It was something in blue tissue paper.
Sensing it might be breakable, he set it on the counter gently and unwrapped it.
Inside the tissue paper was a round Dodger blue ornament with the Dodgers logo on it.
As Andy smiled at the thoughtfulness of the gift from Sharon, she suddenly appeared in the doorway to the breakroom, watching him smile at the ornament.
"An ornament for your tree or mine," Sharon told him.
"I love it. Thank you," said Andy.
They spent the next couple of minutes smiling at each other like a couple of lovesick idiots before Provenza came into the breakroom and muttered under his breath, "Ye gods! Would you two get a room?"
"Someone's a grinch," commented Andy and Sharon had to stop herself from laughing at that.
A/N: Thank you so much for returning to read Day 2! Hope you enjoyed my attempt at some Christmas comedy there at the end. Anyways, feel free to leave a review, kudos, or reblog it (if you're reading this on Tumblr). Until tomorrow…
