Into the Misty Whirlpool:
Kenji sat with Tsunade and Kumiko in the Senju and Namikaze estates.
"So you've chosen to marry someone that you don't love because of familial ties that don't even bind you?" Kumiko asked
"Y-yes, grandma, I know I messed up, but if the Uzumaki can be saved then I owe it to my living mother to find them as well. They are just as much her clan as mine"
Tsunade sighed as she put a hand to her head
"Boy oh boy. You truly are a simple, yet kind hearted oaf sometimes."
Kenji looked a bit downcast, until she put a hand on his shoulder and looked him in the eyes.
"You don't have to do this for me, especially if you don't want to. This woman doesn't really know you, nor you her. Village and politics be damned, don't sacrifice your happiness for people who may not even care about you or me"
Kenji smiled at her and put his hand on hers
"I'm not just doing this for you mom, I'm also doing this for me. I want to do this for the Uzumaki and bring that name back into prominence"
Tsunade smiled at him motherly as their hands separated and Kumiko shook her head at them both
"Are you sure you want to do this? You could always meet a woman you actually care for. We could find a way to get to the Uzumaki without this woman" Kumiko said
Kenji sighed
"Yea, that's true. But, since she's also part Uzumaki, then this might help things as well. I just hope she's not so bad" he said as he stood up to make preparations.
"Well, Good night, I'll be doing some last minute preparations" he said as he walked out with a confident smile.
He left the main Senju house and teleported to his room in the Namikaze branch estate. He was given this home to share with Naruto upon his brother's return. The estate had been a bit cramped, even though it was originally a 10 bedroom house, now it was broken down into a compound with more than enough room to house the Senju and Namikaze clan members. Due to his marriage he would have to leave and take a new home. He frowned at realizing this
Kenji sat on his bed with his backpack for tomorrow. He was putting some extra supplies in his bag as he felt a ping of irritation in his mind. Mei wasn't ugly, she's actually very beautiful, but she sure seemed a bit selfish to come and claim him for herself and hold his family against him like that, but she held the cards. Besides, if she was lying then the marriage would be off. She was paying for the service of the leaf anyway, so what does it matter? He couldn't help but feel a bit of uncertainty about him. Did he really want this? Was this worth it for the family he didn't know? He sighed and chose not to worry about it as he put his travel bag on the side of his bed and he lay down to go to sleep.
The next day,
Kenji stood amongst several other shinobi he had some familiarity with, along with his former team Crow (or team Shisui). He wore a black haori with red flames at the bottom, a green jonin vest, a black undershirt, blue pants and black sandals. He looked at his team and a feeling of nostalgia washed over him while putting his arms around Hana and Ko
"And we're back! Hope everyone enjoyed the intermission"
"Heh, looks like it"
"Namikaze, can you please let me go"
"Yea, dido, we missed you too but jeez"
Kenji let them go as he laughed heartily. He looked around and saw a few genin, then he looked to see Kurenai, Asuma, Nanashi and Anko with their teams. There are about 20 leaf shinobi at the gate with Mei, Zabuza and Ameyuri.
Sozu wore his long brown hair in a ponytail. He wore black hoodie with green leaves decorating the bottom and a red swirl on the back, dark blue pants, a shuriken holster on his right leg and black shinobi sneakers and his leaf headband was wrapped around his left arm. He had white bandages wrapped around his wrists with seals holding several kunai in them.
He was looking around, curious as to what kind of mission he would be on. He was surprised at how many shinobi there were.
'What the hell are we all gonna do?' he thought
He felt a tap on his shoulder and he looked back to see Asuma with Choji eating a bag of chips and Ino, looking him up and down then looking away. As he looked at her he felt his blush creeping in but he denied showing it and looked back at Asuma. He started to realize that he had a thing for blondes. He even thought Naruto's older cousin Akari was good looking too.
"You'll be temporarily on our team, while yours is disbanded."
Sozu nodded as he was brought back to his team being scattered. Then he thought about when he saw Mina kiss Gohan and his fists tightened, only to take a deep breath and continue listening to Asuma, who actually looked concerned.
"S-sorry, I remembered visiting Akino in the hospital earlier this week and… Genma sensei left on a long term S rank mission to the Fire Capital"
Asuma nodded in understanding
"I get it. One of your teammates is injured and another left on a training trip, while your sensei isn't around to train you. Well I got some good news for ya, I'll be training you alongside my team, and I also have training in the art of Ki as well as the fire affinity in common with you. So don't worry."
Sozu nodded as Asuma turned away and went to go speak to Mei Terumi and her enclave.
He sighed as he looked at his hands as he clenched his fists for a moment.
"Yo, are you gonna do that all the time?" Ino asked in annoyance with folded arms
Sozu put his hands in his hoodie pocks and smiled nervously
"Hehe, my bad. I just think too much sometimes"
"Whatever, as long as you're not on weirdo time, we're good" she said
"Yea, we graduated together after all, don't be so tense" Choji said
"Th-thanks"
"So, when's your birthday?"
"Um November 10th"
"So you were born in autumn huh? The leaves have a beautiful color in the fall" she said looking at the leaves.
"Um yea…" he said looking nervously at Choji
"Don't worry, she's an aesthetic person" the Akimichi said waving him off
"Hey what's wrong with-"
"Oi, enough of the chit chat, listen up!" Mei Terumi said
"We're going to the Hidden Whirlpool Village ruins. The rebels are based there and we will be making our plans once we get there. The journey should take one weeks time"

When they reached the land of Whirlpools it was surrounded by Whirlpools and a heavy mist. Mei put her right hand in the ram seal and a path near the hidden mist began to clear up. They soon began to walk down the path as they trailed down a cobblestone road. They looked around at the forest foliage as they continued to move towards their destination and soon Kenji used his ki to sense the life forms around them. He felt several but he couldn't feel any hostile forces.
Soon they came upon several masked shinobi. They were hidden mist anbu.
"Commander. You've returned"
"Yes, and with reinforcements as promised" she said with a triumphant tone and they were led back to the ruins of Uzu.
"So this is it huh?" Kenji said as his eyes took in the ruined buildings and cobblestoned roads, but next to them were rebuilt buildings and several citizens and hidden mist shinobi walking around. Something about the place felt nostalgic to him. Then as they walked, he saw several people looking at him specifically.
"Looks like they've been waiting for ya blondie" Anko said walking up next to him
"Yea, seem like they know you, or maybe someone related to you" Kaori said
"They also seem to be looking at Akari and Nanashi sensei as well" Sakura chimed in
He looked back to see his cousins getting the same stares and they proceeded to move on as they approached a giant building with the Uzumaki swirl on the top and a yin and yang circle in the middle of the swirl.
They walked in and saw an administration waiting room that had doors on all sides. They continued to walk forward, passing another admin room, then they proceeded to walk outside, seeing several hundred shinobi standing in rows and columns in training practicing martial arts katas. He had a tail, brown hair shinobi who wore a tight fitting mid blue shirt with the red Uzumaki swirl on the back, blue shinobi pants and black sandals.
"You have another Saiyan in your ranks?"
"Of course, we do. But, he's been with the Uzumaki clan since he was a child" she said as they kept walking
Shallot looked around as he felt several presences enter the premises. He spotted Mei and he smiled like a little kid.
"Hey you guys keep practicing, I'll be right back" he said jumping in over to Mei and wrapping her in hug and she embraced him as well
"Sister, I've missed you. How was your journey?"
"It went well, and we now have the backing of the Hidden Leaf to end this long standing conflict. We will be able to free our brethren."
They broke the hug as he looked at the leaf ninja and his gaze hardened.
"So who is he?"
"Shallot?"
"Which one is your betrothed?" he asked
All of the leaf ninja around Kenji began to back away as they felt the ferocity and the killing intent of Shallot. Kenji looked around him as he rolled his eyes and began to unleash his killing intent as he locked eyes with Shallot. He smirked, because he realized that he'd have been done if he didn't hadn't gotten his Zenkai boost. Saiyans possess a genetic trait that allows their power to increase substantially after recovering from near fatal injuries. This trait is not exclusive to pure-blooded Saiyans like the lack of hair growth is, as even clones with partial Saiyan genetic data have this ability as well. Examples are half-breed and quarter breed Saiyans.
He felt the death of Shallot's power and he began to feel excited. It seemed as if the other man's power matched his own.
"So you are the one huh? You don't seem like a pushover. How about we have a spar then?"
"Hey, we don't have time we need to go and see the heads of the Terumi and Uzumaki clans"
"Don't worry Mei, this'll take a 5 minutes"
"Oh great, lets just hope they don't break anything" Ameyuri said
"Nah, they're gonna break a lot even in five minutes" Zabuza said
Kenji sighed as he dropped his back and body flickered to an empty place far enough from the shinobi going through Katas.
"Humph, you seem eager" he said as he flickered in front of Kenji
The blonde warrior narrowed his eyes
"No, I just know you'll bug me for a spar later, so I'm getting this out of the way" he said as he got into his Killing Fist stance with a stoic face.
"Oh no, I can see it in your eyes and feel it from your aura, you want to test yourself just like me" he said as he got into his Whirling Tide fighting stance.
"Great, I'm marrying a battle maniac. Well, alright, I'm timing you two then." she said as she folded her arms and smirked. She too wanted to see the battle between the two.
"Sheesh really Kenji. Whatever, things were getting boring" Nanashi said
Sozu was watching with interest as he activated his Sekigan to keep track of them
Kenji and Shallot did a staredown as there was a tense aura between the two. Then Shallot lunged in at a high speed to launch a heavy roundhouse kick at Kenji. The Namikaze blocked the attack with his right forearm as the ground beneath his feet splintered. The two shifted and jumped back several feet apart, then they launched at one another as they both swung a right punch and their fists clashed, causing a shock wave to burst across the training field. This caused the other shinobi to jump back as they made room for their teacher and his opponents to battle. They began to go through high speed battle, trading blows between one another. They were blocking and dodging one anothers strikes as they darted across the battlefield at light speed.
"HAAAAGH!" Shallot yelled as he headbutt Kenji sending him flying
He flew around and tried to kick Kenji, but he turned and flipped over the kick, using Shallot's shoulder for leverage and he dug his fingers into the man's shoulder and flexed his body to drop kick Shallot in his back sending him flying. He left his right hand touch the ground as he pushed himself forward to chase after Shallot who did a flip and landed as his feet skid across the ground.
"Tsk"
He yelled as he held his hand out with a green ki blast forming in his right hand and he shot a beam of ki at Kenji, who took out a Hiraishin kunai and held it with a triangle gesture with both hands in front of him and the kunai absorbed the beam as it began to glow. He absorbed the energy creating a green Rasengan and Shallow smirked as white aura flared around his body and he formed another ki blast and smashed it into his Rasengan as the ki spheres collided and they fought for dominance. Soon the collision exploded sending them both flying backwards. They both regained balance and somersaulted and kicked off of the walls and clashed again, fighting at lightning speed. Kenji threw a left punch and Shallot dodged, throwing an uppercut, causing Kenji to lean back as he tried to knee Shallot, who blocked it with a forearm and they pushed off each other back flipping and landing on their feet to catch their breath.
"You're…huff…huff…not bad"
"Back at ya…huff…huff…"
Soon they caught their breath and a breeze blew past them.
"This has been fun. But, I'm gonna end this now" he said as his blue eyes hardened
"Oh really?" Shallot said with a challenging smile
"Exactly"
Kenji began to breathe slowly and he focused, closing his eyes as his chakra began to reach out to the natural energy around him. Shallot raised an eyebrow as a few moments passed. He jumped forward and drew his fist back to swing a hard right towards Kenji, but as he approached Kenji smirked as his pupils became horizontal bars with yellow sclera, with red pigment around his eyes. He looked Shallot in his eyes while pushing his fist to the side and he gave the opposing Saiyan a full powered Senjutsu punch in his gut, sending Shallot flying through the wall of the training ground into the next room, then through the next 2 rooms and they heard him slide across the ground in what was probably the masters chambers.
They all looked at Kenji in amazement when he stood up and dusted himself off while walking back to Mei, Zabuza and Ameyuri with the rest of the 24 leaf ninja. His Sage mode wore off as he stood before them again
"Wh-what the hell was that?" Zabuza asked
"Sage mode. Learned it from my God-father"
"Can you teach me that?" Kiba asked immediately
"You'd need to sign the toad summoning scroll, and I don't really know if your dogs like frogs" he said rubbing the back of his head
"Oh boy, this isn't gonna be good" Mei sighed
"Why do you say that?" Kenji asked
"The clan heads just had this area fixed a month ago"
Kenji rubbed the back of his head sheepishly and picking his up his backpack
Soon a man with Kage robes and a kage hat in his right hand with the red whirlpool symbol. He had purple eyes, a head full of tamed red hair reaching his shoulders, age lines on his face, dark skin and he had a mustache and beard on his face. He had a grim look on his face as he walked out and looked at Mei, then Zabuza, then Ameyuri, then he looked at the leaf ninja and his face softened as he looked at the symbols on their foreheads.
"I see you were successful in recruiting the leaf ninja" he said
"Y-yes lord Arashi, they gave us a decent amount of shinobi to bolster our forces"
"Good, and I see that Shallot got defeated by one of our guests" he said pointedly at Kenji, then he noticed the 3 whisker marks on each cheek
"Are you… the jinchuriki of the nine tails?" he asked
"No, that would be my younger brother, Naruto. He's currently training at Korin's temple right now"
"So Minato and Kushina had two children, did they? Which one of you is the heir to the Namikaze clan?" he said looking at Nanashi and Akari
"That would be Kenji" Akari said pointing
"Why not him?" Arashi asked pointing at Nanashi
"Eh, clan heir turning clan head is overrated for me. Plus, Kenji cares more for politics than I do" he said shrugging his shoulders
"I see, a lazy one"
Arashi looked at Kenji and spoke in a serious tone.
"So did you make the decision to be married into the Terumi clan?"
Kenji nodded surprising everyone else
"What the hell?" Kurenai, Hana and Anko yelled
"Yes, him being half Uzumaki and Namikaze, marrying into the Terumi clan will unite the 3 and he will produce a rebirth of the legacy of the whirlpool."
"But, I plan to stay in the Hidden Leaf, that was apart of the agreement" he said
Arashi gave a fatherly smile
"That may be a problem"
"What do you mean? We still honor the village of Whirlpools with our uniforms and headbands" he said
"Yes, but…we may speak of that later. Right now, let's get you all settled in. We have rooms for you all prepared"
Soon after settling in Kenji stood with Arashi Uzumaki and Genryusai Terumi
Genryusai was an elderly man with the body of a warrior. He was bald with a cross scar on the side of his head, he had a long gray beard, long gray eyebrows and mustache. He wore a black shihakusho, wrapped with a white obi, he was missing a right arm, probably a wound of war, a white haori with the whirlpool crest on the back, white samurai socks, and samurai weaved sandals.
The three stood over the Whirlpool village on top of the Hidden Leaf Village.
"So you agreed to marry her if we moved back to the hidden leaf?" Araashi asked
Kenji nodded as he looked out at the village
"That won't do, this is our home and we shall remain where we are" Genryusai said in a matter of fact tone
"If that's the case then I won't be marrying into the Terumi clan"
"You are not the only heir to your clan boy" Genryusai said with ease
"Tsk, my brother has already found love with the Hyuga clan heiress"
Genryusai narrowed his green eyes
"So you would take us from our home for your own selfish reasoning?"
"Hold on a minute, we can find some sort of middleground. Why not make sealing portal between our lands" Arashi chimed in
"How long would that take?" Genryusai asked
"At least 5 to 10 years." Arashi said comically rubbing the back of his head
"With the Hidden Leaf Village helping us to liberate the Mist, we could perhaps make a treaty with the Hidden Leaf or like we did with the Saiyans before both of our villages were attacked by the Hidden Cloud, Rain and Earth"
Kenji sighed
"So is there any way I can get you back to the Hidden Leaf?"
Arashi sighed
"Personally, I'm not against it, but I do believe the other Terumi and Uzumaki clan members might oppose"
Kenji pinched the bridges of his nose while closing his eyes
"I guess I can't be surprised. The portal sounds like the best bet. Whether we're a clan or not. I can't ask you all to leave your homes" he said with a sad smile on his face
"But I must remain with the hidden Leaf as well. My mother and father gave their lives formy home, along with the Namikaze clan being there"
The two elders nodded in understanding
"So much for uniting the clans" Kenji shrugged
Genryusai sighed
"And then there's the marriage. We really want to unite the Uzumaki and Terumi clans"
"Why ask me to do it? I'm half Namikaze" Kenji said
"Your mother was the heiress of the Uzumaki clan. The daughter of my brother." Arashi said
Kenji crossed his arms
"So in exchange for the portal, I have to marry Mei?"
"She is part Terumi and Uzumaki, so yes."
"But it feels like I'm losing here. I mean the portal is gonna take a while to build, and I'm not even sure if I want to be married yet. I barely know her and she hasn't been the most forthcoming about us getting to know each other"
"You two may learn to love one another over time. Humph, back in my day found love performing our duties to our clans. Keep your eyes on the prize, young one."
Arashi and Kenji sweatdropped as he went on a rant
"I tell you what, you new age shinobi are a bit spoiled. But, one thing I can tell you is that my granddaughter is a hell of a young woman. Meaning, she is a catch and you should consider yourself lucky."
Kenji couldn't help but doubt the old man a little. Genryusai sighed as he looked at a skeptical Kenji.
"My boy, just get to know her before you pass judgment. I know you may have had your sights set to be wed later on, but this should do you some good to have a good woman behind you and familial responsibility"
Arashi smiled in agreement
"Old man Gen is right kiddo. He even helped me find my wife. Heck, had your mom not left to the Leaf he probably would've helped find her a husband as well"
Kenji ran his hand through his hair.
"She's not bad looking or evil or anything I just-. I just don't know if I'm ready"
"Nonsense, I I had a child by the time I was your age, and grandchildren by the time I was 50" Genryusai said
"Yea, I had my first kid 19 years ago and I'm only 45" he said with a hand on his chin
Kenji sighed as he imagined himself with a kid. Then he imagined himself with multiple toddlers and Mei and he shivered as he thought of the mischief they could cause.
"Welp, I'll be heading to bed, got strategy meetings to prepare for" Arashi said stretching and walking away
"Yes, things will be getting underway tomorrow. Get some sleep youngster" Genryusai said
Kenji took one last look at the moon for a few moments. He took a deep breath and exhaled, looking at the village street lights and the people walking the streets.
'Mom, Dad, I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna unite our families' he thought as he turned around to go back to his room only to be met by Shallot who had a serious look about him
"You again? You want round 2?"
"No" he shook his head
"Why are you doing this if you don't want to?"
Kenji continued to walk until he was passing him
"It's for the greater good."
"The fuck does that even mean?" he grunted turning towards him
Kenji stopped walking and looked back with a genuine smile
"The Uzumaki are my family, just as much as the Namikaze. If this can unite my family and reconnect the Hidden Leaf and the Whirlpool once again, I'd gladly do it. This is just as much of my home as the Hidden Leaf." he said as he turned around and kept walking
"Hmmm, has the light always been on?"
Kenji walked back to his room to see Mei lying in a queen sized 4 corner bed with curtains over it. She was under the cover reading.
"Wh-what the heck are you doing here?"
She lowered her book with a comical stoic face
"I'm reading before I sleep duh?"
"Wh-why are you in my room?"
She smirked at him
"This is my room actually. Grandfather decided it was a good way to get us acquainted with one another"
"Of course he did." Kenji sighed as he closed the door and took off his sandals.
He looked around the room and saw a desk and chair, two dressers on two opposite sides, two night stands near the bed, a small beige sofa and a cushy grass green rocking chair. There was also a door to the bathroom that was open to show a toilet, a restroom sink, a bath and shower. He dropped his travel bag on the floor next to the couch and opened it to pull out an orange shirt, towel and a toothbrush.
After taking a shower and brushing his teeth he came out in his black pants and orange t-shirt. He sat on the couch and eventually propped himself up to lie down. Mei looked at him trying not to laugh as he was clearly too tall for the couch.
"What's so funny?"
"You and the way you look on the couch hahahaha"
"Erm, whatever, you can't expect me to sleep with you"
"And just why not?"
Kenji's face got a small blush on it as he turned his head towards the couch lumbar cushion.
"Awww, you're such a gentlemen"
"Whatever, I'm going to sleep"
"Kenji"
He looked back over to see her looking at him seriously
"Stop being a child and come to bed. I will not have any excuses about you not sleeping well! We are going to war! Now be sensible before I melt off what makes you a man!"
"You wouldn't dare!" he said challenging her
Mei put her book down and began going through hand signs and Kenji jumped off the couch grabbing his travel bag as she shot a glob of lava at the couch.
"What the hell?" he said with comically wide eyes
"You said I wouldn't. Don't tempt me again" she said as she looked at him with a vein popping out in her forehead and her hair levitating
Kenji got a chill down his spine and he slowly walked over near the bed, dropping his bag and slowly getting in bed under the covers with her. He got back up and turned off the overhead light, while she had the lamp turned on next to her.
"Good, thats better isn't it" she said
He sighed as he laid on his back as he closed his eyes pulling the covers over him.
"Sure. Now that there's no couch"
Mei smirked at him and went back to reading. He closed his eyes and took deep breaths drifting off to sleep.
The next day:

'Damn, he wasn't so perverted after all was he?'
After 10 minutes of washing up he rinsed off the soap from his body and he stepped out grabbing his towel drying off. He put on his clothes and went out to grab a toothbrush and a shirt and then he went to brush his teeth.
The issue he had with Mei was that he knew everything that glittered wasn't gold. Regardless of what Genryusai said, he had to find out for himself. But, perhaps he was being a bit judgmental. He walked out to see Mei getting up and stretching. The morning sunlight made her look majestic as it shined on her perfect creme skin. She was practically glowing like an angel. She turned her head towards him and he immediately looked away and went about his business. Perverted thoughts would get him nowhere. Mei smirked as she had already caught him staring from the corner of her eye.
"Good morning. How did you sleep?"
"Morning, I slept fine"
"I can imagine, you were talking in your sleep"
Kenji kept a stoic face as he got his leaf Jonin vest on and slid into his red haori. Mei was looking at him with a bit of curiosity and mirth in her eyes. So this is what it's like to have a handsome and disciplined man around.
"Hey, we've got an hour and half before we meet with the Uzukage right?"
"Yes, why?"
Kenji sighed inside as he decided he would try to make a connection with her
"I was… gonna get something to eat… Do you want me to grab you anything?"
"Can you wait for me? I'll only be 20 minutes"
Kenji shrugged, slipped on his sandals and sat on the leaf green cushion chair. She gave him a warm smile and went to the closet and grabbed a blue dress, mesh armor with a skirt
20 minutes passed and Mei walked out with her hair tied in her Hidden Mist attire, with her hair tied a hair bang covering her eye and two long bangs covering her breasts, and fushia lipstick with dark blue polish on her fingers and toes. She walked over to the entrance to put on her long grey high heeled shinobi sandals. She opened the door causing Kenji to follow her out and he followed her down a series of stares. He noticed that she seemed to have a bit of a spring in her step. As they got down stairs, they were greeted by Sozu training by himself in the courtyard. He was practicing his sword swinging skills. It seemed as if he had been doing so for a while now.
They didn't want to disturb him so they walked on. Kenji stopped her and he went to straighten out Sozu's stance, and show him a few moves. After 10 minutes he ruffled the boys hair causing him to grimace in mock anger and he head back over to Mei.
"Sorry about that. He's a friend of my little brother, I give him pointer with his sword skills here and there"
"It's fine. I think that's nice of you actually. My brother does the same thing with several of the recruits"
"Hmm"
"So, where would you like to go?"
"I'm not very picky as long as they have ramen"
"Really? Alright! I've got just the place"
They went to a restaurant called Aji no Uzu (Whirlpool of taste). Kenji had Miso Soup and Mei had Dashimaki Tamago (a Japanese Rolled Omelet with Dashi).
"So what are your goals in life Kenji? Are you a simple man or a complexity of goals and desires?"
"I'd say a bit of both. I want to make sure my brother achieves his dream of being the Hokage, and I also want to be around to help cultivate the next generation of the Leaf shinobi. I want to help my dad bring about his philosophy of everyone understanding each other. I believe if I can help to guide my brother down that path like Jiraiya did for my father, then everything should be alright. Of course things won't always go how you plan them but… I believe that if I can help my adoptive father and brother in their journeys then the world could be a better place. My younger brother especially has this tenacity about him. He hasn't exactly gotten a chance to show it yet as far as outside of our family yet, but when the Leaf got invaded by the akatsuki, he proved he could lead and stand on his own and he passed the chunin exams just being a rookie."
Mei looked at him with a delicate smile, she could tell he meant everything he was saying. She could tell he was a man of action and not just another handsome face. Kenji locked eyes with her and rubbed the back of his head sheepishly while closing his eyes
"Not to get off topic. But that's why I said a little bit of both"
"Oh no, you're fine. I…can tell you mean what you say by how you carry yourself. You really care about the people around you and you see your roll as someone who serves."
"Yea, that pretty much nails it. I feel like I should want something for myself. All of my friends are clan heirs and they have their own super high objectives while I just wanna put others before myself"
"There's nothing wrong with that, just don't let people walk all of you" she said
"What about you? What are your goals and dreams?"
"I…wish to set the Hidden Mist free. It's been my home for as long as I can remember. I want to cast aside the title 'Bloody Mist' and create it in a more polished light. I know we are shinobi and we don't fight fair, but that doesn't mean we need to have children kill their friends and kill people with bloodlines. That's…that's not what I want for the future of my home or my clan. The children of the next generation will not be persecuted or held in contempt because of their family lineage."
"I…I can somewhat understand that."
"Can you really?"
"My brother is a jinchuriki…Until recently, he's been held in contempt by the villagers. When they saw him walking around in his chunin jacket they left him alone."
"Oh, I see. I'm glad that they look at him as a protector now"
"Yea. Sometimes when I caught them staring at him, I felt like leaving the village. But my family kept me there"
Mei could see the similarities in parts of their stories. Wanting a better tomorrow and going against the odds of their situation.
'I think I like him. But I need to make sure this isn't just an act she thought'

The hidden Leaf, Whirlpool and Mist forces were gathered with Zabuza Mei, Genryusai and Arashi standing in front
"Alright now that everyone has arrived, it's time to discuss what will be happening in the first part of the plan. Our objective as of now is to retake the checkpoints between the hidden Mist Village and the Land of Whirlpools near the southern entrance to the village" Arashi said
"We will need a recon team to infiltrate and weaken them from the inside and we will send several forces to attack the outside. As I have been told there is an infiltration unit from the hidden leaf. We will be pairing them with our own unit. Mei, I believe you and your infiltration team were able to locate a weak point to enter"
Mei nodded and took over
"Yes, near the southern part of the hidden Mist there is a checkpoint headquarters not too far from the village. During a recent reconnaissance mission, Ao discovered a secret entrance used by some of the guards to escort out prisoners to and from the village. It has very few guards near it and we believe that this point may be of interest to lead an assault. We can have 3 teams of 4 to lead the charge. Two to battle the enemy and draw their attention and one team to infiltrate them. They have 25 guards in rotation around the clock. We should attack when their shift is ending toward night falls. We have the right people for the job in both Mist and Leaf with several Byakugan users in our ranks. One can monitor the outside and another can work from the inside out, as well as multiple Genjutsu specialists from the Hidden Leaf. Also we will have a 4th team hidden as back up if they decide to push the perimeter or surprise us with an early shift change as well. We will have a team from the Leaf to infiltrate, 2 teams from the Mist Rebel faction 1 to distract the enemy one to do field surveillance and a team from the Hidden Whirlpool on standby for reinforcements"
Shisui Uchiha stood,
"Team Crow volunteers. Myself, Ko Hyuga, Hana Inuzuka and Kenji Namikaze will go for the infiltration of the checkpoint building."
Shallot stood next,
"My team will manage the lookout for the outer perimeter. Myself, Tarble and Karin are censors and Crimson can rig traps for the enemies."
Zabuza spoke up from the front
"My team can be on standby for backup if things dicey and they think they can send reinforcement" he said with a wicked grin that could be seen even under his facial bandages
"And my team can be the distraction for the guards outside. Yari is a Kaguya and can take on multiple opponents. Ao is quite capable due to his Byakugan, Chojuro is one of the 7 swordsmen of the Mist and I can handle myself" Mei said
"It's settled then. You'll move out in the evening" Genryusai spoke and they adjourned the meeting
Sozu was walking back to the training grounds when he felt a hand grasp his shoulder. He looked back to see Ino with Choji standing with her.
"Where're you going so suddenly?" she asked
"Training" he said as he tried to turn but she gripped his shoulder a bit tighter
"You can train later. Actually, you need a shower Mr. Sweaty. You were probably training before the meeting"
Sozu sighed as he decided to give in with resignation
"Fine, let me take a shower then" he said as he walked off
"Ok we'll be waiting at the entrance to the Uzukage Building" she said
As he walked out Kenji was approached by a familiar looking man.
"Yo, you look like this brat I fought a while ago!" Tarble said
"Yea, I'm his elder brother. And I heard he and your nephew kicked your ass" Kenji said with a knowing grin. Soon Mei came walking over with Ameyuri
"Oh, Kenji, hey, this is another comrade of mine in the rebellion. His name is Tarble" Mei said
"I've heard of him by way of my cousin and brother"
"Tsk, I had those two teaming up to keep up with me" Tarble bragged
"Nephew, how do you know he has a nephew?" Ameyuri asked
"His elder brother Vegeta, is married to my older cousin"
"Oh really? So you guys are like family?" Mei asked
"You could say that. Long distance family"
"Well, cousin, it looks like we'll be in the field together. Don't disappoint me."
"Don't worry, he's no pushover. He held his own with Shallot the other day"
"Humph, I can do that too"
"But can you utterly knock him the fuck out is the real question" Ameyuri asked

She was walking with Asuma as she spoke
"So what did you have planned today?"
"I was thinking of having a look around the place and let my students do the same. What about you?" He said as he went for a cigarette before seeing a scowl from Kurenai in his peripheral
"Well, I was going to do the same."
Asuma knew she was baiting him
"Let's have a look around together while our students do their own thing"

Sozu was walking out to see Ino and Choji and he realized he was doing normal things again. He sighed as he realized he needed a break training and that he was working himself to death.
"Wow you can actually look your age for once"
"What do you mean?" he asked as they started walking
"She means you kinda walk around looking super serious" Choji said
"Yea, what he said"
Sozu shrugged
"I don't really have time to be a kid. I no longer get the stipend for orphans and I'm mainly doing missions a lot"
"Well, maybe we can change that" Ino said getting an idea in her head
Sozu looked at her then decided not to think too deeply about it. Little did he know Ino was thinking about asking her father to adopt him into the Yamanaka clan.
"So where do you guys want to go first?" Choji asked
Sozu looked around at the village.
"First, let's get a better look at this place" he said as he leapt onto the roof of a nearby building with Ino and Choji following him.
They looked to see a variety of buildings with Whirlpool crests on them. They had classic Sukiya styled buildings with various decorations and signs on them. He also saw a mix of homes and buildings going downwards as the village was built downwards and meant to be traversed up and down. The bottom of the village was covered by the Mist and the Sun was beating down on the village. It was hard to see in the village but he felt it in his shins on the journey toward the village. He also remembered the lake of Whirlpools below the Mist.
"Whoa. You can see the birds. It's so beautiful" Ino chirped
"I wonder what kind of food they have in this place"
Sozu smirked at hearing Choji as he nodded in affirmation with him for once. He activated his Sekigan to look through the Mist and see several destroyed cities in the distance. He deactivated the dojutsu and spoke
"Yea, let check out some place to eat" as he leapt down to another building
"Hey wait up" Ino yelled as she followed him

Naruto sat across a large field in the land of Earth with Hinata, Shikamaru Neji, Sasuke and Mina. There was a large Dojo behind them with a Kanji for White Lotus on a white flag at the top of the building. An elderly man who often has a stern look on his face. He is among the shortest male characters in the series, standing at just 5'5". He wears a loose, purple outfit with a red sash around his clothes, and red Chinese martial art shoes with white socks. He has white hair with a long, white beard. He had black eyes and brown skin.
They were meditating in order to do advanced ki control and ki their aura contained inside of them while fighting. Gohan, Ryu and Kurotsuchi passed through this test already and proceeded to go up to Korins toward. Even Kakashi and Jiraiya were able to master it before the children and they were sent to train with other members of the clan to practice the training method in battle. Meanwhile Wukong , Yamcha, Krillin and Han were above in a place known as Kami's lookout, which was above Korin's tower. They were told that if they could master the ki exercise of holding in their aura during battle in 3 to 6 months they would be to Korin's tower in no time.
"Brat, you mustn't draw on my chakra with your own, you must convert my chakra into yours if you wish to fight using this method" Kurama said from the mental link
Naruto mentally nodded as he took a deep breath and sat indian style folding his legs over each other. On the outside his red aura turned blue as he gradually compressed his aura into his body. He was half way done before he lost control and it burst out of him.
"Dammit! Again!" he said as he restarted the process
Luckily he was sitting by himself on the other side of the field. He had to be moved away from the others as he kept disturbing them as he kept trying to contain his ki. He wanted to convert the Foxes chakra into ki but he knew that would be something that had to be done later on.
His blue aura danced around him in waves as he slowly pulled on it to remain inside of himself. The purpose behind this technique was to waste less energy and fight more efficiently. He made it his business to learn this because of how much strength he could wield if he got this right. He would be able to beat Kenji if he got this down.
"Oi, kit, stop thinking about the future and stay focused on the now" Kurama said in gruff annoyance
"Alright, alright" he said as he continued to focus his energy into himself.
With Kakashi:
The silver haired Jonin was wearing his dark blue shirt, mask and pants as he stood across from his opponent in one of the sparring rooms in the large dojo.
"You ready Yang?"
Yang sported a distinctive hairstyle, with incredibly long and jagged bangs which protrude quite some distance from his forehead. His changshan is red with a black and yellow trim. Like his brother Yun, Yang also wears yellow fingerless gloves that cover his forearms, dark pants, and close toed martial arts shoes.
On the sidelines watching was Jiraiya and another older man in his forties. His name was Dorai and he was a master in the White Lotus clan. His hair was black and neatly combed over his forehead, he had black eyes, a toothbrush mustache, he wore a black haori open with golden buttons, black martial arts pants, a gray obi, and a white tank top. He had a muscular build.
"You think Kashi will win this time too, Jiraiya?"
"Not sure, his experience has been what's kept him on top but Yang has been catching up to him"
With Yang and Kakashi:
"You ready old man?"
"I'm only 25 thank you very much" Kakashi said with comically wide eyes
"Whatever!" he yelled leaping towards Kakashi to send an elbow towards his opponent.
Kakashi had his headband off but he still kept his left eye closed. He dodged, pushing the elbow to the side sending a punch towards Yang who weaved backwards spinning to send a roundhouse kick at the copy ninja, who pushed his roundhouse kick aside. They continued to weave and dodge one anothers attacks.
Kakashi slid back and performed a leg sweep causing Yang to jump and perform a lunging kick towards the silver haired shinobi. He blocked the kick and pushed the young man back by channeling his ki into his arm and he drew a kunai and pushed chakra into his feet as he lunged past Yang and tried to smash the blunt end of his kunai into Yang's head.
The changshan wearing ninja dodged and spun to send an elbow at his opponent. Kakashi caught the elbow, but Yang smirked as he performed a spinning low kick into Kakashi's calf causing him to lose his balance. He caught himself with his free left hand and sent out a right kick at Yang's spinning foot, causing him to lose his balance while Kakashi regained his own as he spun his body with his left arm to land in a crouch on his feet.
"Tsk" Yang said as he regained his balance while dodging a Kunai swipe from Kakashi as his Shangshan received a small shallow slice that didn't draw blood.
Kakashi twirled the kunai in his hand and stabbed forward, as Yang parried his stab pushing his attack to the side. Kakashi smirked under his mask as his mimicked Yangs low kick and smashed his fist into the young martial artist gut, causing him to reel back a few steps as he grunted in pain and annoyance
"Ugh!"
He smirked as he got his kunai in a reverse grip and pulled back causing Yang to duck. And he brought up a knee smashing it into the boy's chin. He sent a palm strike into Yangs chest channeling ki into it sending him flying off his feet to the edge of the battle mats
"Augh! Sssssss!" Yang grunted holding his chin and chest with both hands
"And we have a winner" Dorai said
"Urgh! Not yet!" Yang said, catching his breath and crawling his way up the wall with his left hand.
Yang began to emit a pressure as his body began to glow a white aura. It briefly flair around him and he got into his battle stance again.
"Round 2" Jiraiya said in a mock serious tone
Yang took several deep breaths as he glared at Kakashi. The Leaf Jonin smirked as he opened his Sharingan eye.
"Alright, lets see what you've got"
Yang leapt forward in the form of several after images and disappeared. Kakashi used his Sharingan to follow the movements as he began to dodge several ki swipes
"Tourouzan!" he yelled
Kakashi continued to dodge, but his mask received a knick as he leaned back from the last swipe. He landed on his hands and performed a drop kick towards the young man. Yang dodged and he grabbed the copy ninja's leg and threw him at the wall at breakneck speed. He rolled in a ball and regained his momentum and landed on the wall feet first. He looked up and quickly lunged to the side on the floor as he proceeded to use his afterimage technique and move towards Kakashi as he came with a downward chop from an inward motion as Kakashi proceeded to dodge in a spin, taking out a volley shuriken to throw them at Yang. The young man grabbed two of the 3 shuriken and dodge the one he didn't grab in a spin and he threw them back at Kakashi, who jumped drawing another kunai.
Yang leapt forward in a burst of afterimages rolling forward to slide into a rising kick. Kakashi leaned back again to dodge. He duck down and spun into a move he copied from Naruto
"Raiton: Tatsumaki Senpukyaku!"
He spun into a lightning tornado and smashed the back of his foot into Yang's side, sending him slamming into the training ground wall, making an indent.
"Grraaagh!"
As he slid down, Kakashi stood up, closing his left eye again.
"Whew! That was a workout!"
"Y-you s-said that…last t-time…urgh…" he said while lying in a heap
"Heh, that was a good one" Dorai said
"Yea, that's our copy ninja for you" Jiraiya said
Kakashi helped Yang stand by giving him a hand to pull him up to his feet. As the young man fell, he propped himself up under Yang's arm. He helped the boy limp over to the sidelines while praising him on the battle.
"Good job Yang. These battles are helping me to swap between using chakra and ki in mid battle"
Yang sighed.
'This guy is basically a war Veteran. No wonder he's so strong. The only challenge for him is learning the art of ki' he thought as he sat down.
"Looks like we're next" Jiraiya said
Dorai nodded in confirmation as they got up to walk in the middle of the dojo.
Jiraiya got into his Toad Hermit stance while Dorai got into his Tai chi stance. There was a tense moment of silence as their ki flooded the room cracking the floor. The two began to edge forward inch by inch until they were 3 feet apart.
Jiraiya made the first move sending a right haymaker just to feint into a left elbow strike. Dorai smirked, blocking the attack by low kicking his front leg.
Jiraiya grimaced but stood his ground and channeled chakra to his hair swinging it as it elongated towards Dorai who leaned back on his hands performing a flip kick that Jiraiya leaned back as the man's shoe brushed his chin.
The Sannin swung his head around to hit his opponent again, who flipped backwards. Jiraiya proceeded to jump forward and send a right palm strike towards his opponent. Dorai swatted his attack and sent a downward elbow strike toward the white maimed ninja. He pulled his arm back and brought his left fist in a haymaker, causing Dorai to catch the attack. He brought up a strong knee as Jiraiya caught the knee. Both ninja jumped backwards into their fighting stances.
"I expected nothing less from a master in the White Lotus"
"Likewise, Lord Jiraiya. You aren't a legendary Sannin for nothing"
His ki was flowing through him and he had an idea. He thought of using his ki like Senjutsu to enhance his limbs. Jiraiya took a deep breath and felt the ki around him and became one with it. He closed his eyes for a short moment and reopened them. He stood in his toad stance gesturing for Dorai to bring it.
The man smirked and soon his face became a stoic visage. The both broke the ground as they leap forward in blurs. Soon they clashed in the middle of the dojo emitting enough pressure to shift the air around them, causing Kakashi and Yangs hair to billow as they braced themselves. They broke apart and began to clash over and over again as their attack clashed or they bobbed and weaved out of each other's attacks.
They both flipped backwards and spun into their fighting stances once again. They leapt towards one another as Jiraiya performed an axe kick crashing into the ground. Dorai dodged and yelled
"Hyakuretsukyaku!" He yelled as his foot blurred into multiple afterimages kicking Jiraiya in his arm as he guarded his face, hitting his chest and ribs, sending the Sannin staggering as he slid across the dojo in his wooden geta sandals.
"Ack!"
Dorai moved on to switch legs and perform a roundhouse kick that Jiraiya blocked as he slid back again on his sandals. Dorai came in with a strong right jab that he stepped into. Jiraiya smirked as he dodged, grabbing Dorai's right and tossing the man over his shoulder, sending him flying as he regained his balance landing on his feet as he slid back.
Dorai gathered ki in his right hand and it formed into a blue orb and he stepped forward sending the attack at The white haired Sannin.
Jiraiya channeled Ki in his hands as he caught the attack, spinning around and sending the attack back at the man.
"Heh, unpredictable as always" he said
Dorai leapt towards Jiraiya in a blur of afterimages and began to circle around him.
"Nice try!" Jiraiya said and he leg sweeped Dorai who was a bit surprised as he fell sideways.
Dorai smirked as he spun in mid air as his hand touched the ground.
"Spinning bird kick!"
His foot crashed into Jiraiya's guard. He used his other foot to kick off his opponent, and roll back into his Tai Chi stance. The two stood silent as they stared one another down. Jiraiya lept towards Dorai, faking a high left kick just to switch to a high right. His attack was blocked but he continued with several left jabs and then a right cross. Dorai blocked and brought hands back to smash them into the Sannins solar plexus, sending him flying to roll across the dojo floor.
He stood back up panting as he got back into his road fighting stance. He decided to feel for a smoke bomb in his kunai pouch. He held his hand behind them as Dorai inched forward towards him. Jiraiya held a hand out in defense towards the White Lotus master mimicking the man as he stepped towards him. Dorai knew that the Sannin had something up his sleeve as he stopped edging towards him.
"Looks like you've decided not to keep it strictly taijutsu"
Jiraiya grinned as he decided to swap his smoke bomb tactic and he began to go through one handed hand signs. Dorai took a step leaving him 3 feet away from his opponent. Jiraiya smiled and stomped the ground causing the man's front foot to fall through the wooden floor.
'He weakened the earth beneath me with chakra!' He thought
Jiraiya moved in and uppercut Dorai and followed through with a spinning back kick into his stomach but he guarded as he was kicked into the dojo wall as he bounced off landing into a kneeling position.
Jiraiya ram forward to continue his assault as Dorai rolled to the side to perform a spinning low sweep. Jiraiya jumped and spun to kick him, causing the Lotus master to block his attack again causing him to crash into another side of the wall.
Dorai himself went through hand signs in a blur ending in the snake seal placing his hands on the ground
"Ninja art: Earth Style Wall!"
A thick wall of earth rose from the ground as his technique blocked Jiraiya's attack. He leapt from behind the attack gathering a large ball of Ki in his hands and shot an oversized Kikoho at Jiraiya. He dodged and threw a kunai at Dorai who dodged and leapt forward faster than Jiraiya could react and he smashed a palm into his solar plexus knocking him off of his feet as he fell crashing to the ground.
"Looks like today is my win" he said stood up straight
The body disappeared and he did a quick spin around quickly to bring his hand in a stabbing gesture to Jiraiya's neck, while the Sannin had his kunai aimed at the man's gut.
"Heh! Hahahahahaha! You got me with that one" he said
Jiraiya smirked and lowered his kunai as Dorai lowered his hand. They laughed walking back to the sidelines.
Kakashi and Yang had a comedic sweatdrop roll off their foreheads
"Ya know, those two are brutal" the silver haired ninja said
"And you're not?" Yang said making Kakashi laugh nervously

Later that night:
Team Crow and Mei's Team were standing in range from the Hidden Mist Checkpoint while hiding in the forest surrounding them.
"What's it looking like out there Ko?"
"There are 6 guards around the vicinity at the moment. Make your move"
"Alright, lets go Shisui"
Kenji went through hand signs landing on the snake seal.
"Camilion Jutsu!"
He disappeared and silently moved through the shadows with . He happened to come across two guards taking a piss. He slit both of their throats and caught them. Shisui used his sharingan and looked into one of their eyes as one wasn't dead yet and he used his mangekyo sharingan to reach into his memories and learn all the immediate information he needed.
"Got it. We're good to go" he said as they hid the bodies and he transformed into one of them as Kenji transformed into the other.
"Go get the others."
Kenji went and got the others and let them know to perform a mock battle with him
Shisui in disguise walked up to the two guards watching the door and told them they heard something in the forest and they should follow him.
"You think it could warrant 3 more of us"
Soon they heard swift movement in the forest and he turned around
"Does that answer your question?" he said as he ran towards the forest with the other 2 guards behind him. They ran into a field to see the guard battling two leaf ninja.
"Dammit! Leaf shinobi? Tsk. Here we go!"
Suddenly the guard in front of them turned around and slashed the throat of the one on the right. Before the other guard could say anything. He saw a yellow flash and then he felt light as he flipped through the sky. He saw a headless body and realized it was his own and he passed on to the pure world. He didn't even see his killer, just a tri-pronged kunai.
"Ok. Let's go" Shisui said
They dragged the bodies and hid them. Kenji took out a Mirage seal and placed it on a tree next to the battle area to make it seem like nothing happened. They ran the leaf ninja off. 2 Mist ninja that were guarding the area looked with tension in their chest.
"Hah, we drove those tree huggers off!"
The two guards sighed in relief
"Man, thank Kami. That shit was scary"
Suddenly, the two guards on top of the building sighed. Then they heard an explosion from another side of the fort.
"Oh Shit!" They both turned around as they ran to see a giant water bullet head towards them.
One of the guards got the top of his head smashed through by the bullet made of pressurized water. And the other ninja jumped into action as the other guards ran forward. He assumed the other 4 were guarding the back and leapt into action.
2 of the disguised Team Crow walked into the building to see 4 guards. Preferably Kenji and Shisui.
"Hey, we got trouble outside!"
The four guards gasped and they felt the explosion outside. 2 of the Bloody Mist immediately went up stairs to assist while the other 2 disguised ninja were left with them. They turned around to see one of their shinobi with a Sharingan eye activated. Shisui put them both in a genjutsu as Kenji's body flickered through the village and cut down the two guards quickly. Soon they began to look around the office for some form of information on the village. Kenji put his fingers in a cross seal creating 2 shadow clones that looked like the 2 guards.
"Let's get to it. Let the others in, we're going ahead." In their disguises for they made their way upstairs and they began the slaughter
The two shadow clones let Hana in along with her 3 dogs. They ran upstairs behind the others as they help with the slaughter. Ko Hyuga stood outside to keep watch, while the other Mist team and Uzumaki team lay in wait.
In the outside forest perimeter of the battlezone:
Crimson Uzumaki had several traps setup. She wears a specially designed Battle Suit. It resembles an ordinary black business suit, with white button up crop top shirt opened to show her cleavage with a tie in the middle, black pants and black high heeled boots, yellow tinted sunglasses and she has her hair tied back in a large single french braid going past her backside. Two weapons lurk within the accompanying gloves and boots she wore.
"Hey, Crimson. Do you copy?" She had a communicator built into her sunglasses as she tapped a button on the side
"Yes, it looks like they've made it in, and I've finished setting up the traps around the forest. Stay in your position. I'll make my way back to you soon Shallot"
"Copy"
She pressed another button and her glasses turned into night vision to help her see thermal signatures.
"Okay. Where are you bastards?"
In the front lines:
Chojuro had his twin sword pulled apart and began to clash with 3 bloody Mist ninja. Unlike the gray Jonin vests of the Rebels, they wore blood red Jonin jackets. The shinobi he clashed with worked in tandem like attack and defense. One used ninjutsu from a long range and 2 fought up close. Bloody Mist ninja 1 was shooting jutsu from a distance.
"Ninja art: Water Whip!"
Chojuro dodged the whip and spun around to block a blade made of water, pushing one of the ninja back. He swiped his blade horizontally at an incoming shinobi who leaned back as he drew a handful of kunai and leaned back up to pepper Chojuro with them.
"Che!" he blocked it with his sword and reattached the blades, conducting chakra through his large blade to form a chakra hammer and he slammed it into one of the ninja sending him crashing across the field dead
"Heh! Alright! Whoa!" he had to jump upwards as a volley of shuriken was thrown at him.
He brought his Twin Sword up to smash the ground causing the ground to shake and his opponents to stagger.
He felt a presence behind him and before he could turn around a bone bullet pierced an attacker from the blood Mist.
"Don't let your guard down fool!" Yari Said as he swung his bone sword to slice threw a Bloody Mist ninja trying to attack him.
The Kaguya member raised through the battlefield shooting bone bullets at his opponent, riddling 4 shinobi in the process. Soon he had to jump away to dodge a Demon windmill shuriken imbued with razor sharp water chakra, but it followed him. Chojuro held his sword in front of his body and jumped in front of the sword, causing the demon windmill shuriken to break and partially shatter.
Ao, was dodging multiple attacks and throwing razor sharp water covered shuriken, using his chakra thread to maneuver them to tear through several of the enemy forces, but some of them dodged. He had 3 water clones battling the clones battling several shinobi around him.
Mei was effortlessly maneuvering through her adversaries as she put her hands in the bird seal
"Water style: Lightning Water Dragon Bullets!"
She kneaded chakra in her stomach converting it into water and blew out several dragon heads imbued with lightning towards the enemy. The ones who got hit with the attack had their movements dulled and they were slowed down. She drew a kunai and threw a kunai with a paper bomb tag towards them and they leapt away too late as the explosion engulfed them. There were several screams from the attack causing her to smirk.
As the battle outside continued, they heard a large horn sounding from the top of the checkpoint.
"Shit, they called for reinforcements!" She hissed
"Haku, what's it looking like on the outskirts of the field? Copy" Zabuza said as he tapped his headset
Haku tapped her headset
"My Ice clones haven't picked up anything on this side yet. Copy"
"Karin, what's your end looking like?" Shallot asked
Karin put her hand on the ground and reached out with her senses to feel for foreign presences. She felt 2 dozen chakra signatures
"Crimson! Are you back yet?" she asked in alarm
"Yea, I take it we've got company?"
"2 dozen!"
"Hey you guys have to say copy. Copy" Shallot said with indignation
"Shut the fuck up and get focused!" Tarble finally hissed as he was getting annoyed
"He's right. I can feel 2 huge chakra levels coming with them" Karin said
With the Bloody Mist Shinobi
A white haired bowl cut, tanned skin, shinobi in the Bloody Mist Uniform vest, a white long sleeve top, he had blue eyes, and a fashionable white belt looped around his pants, a hidden Mist forehead protector was wrapped around his right arm, with blood red boots matching the vest.
Next to him was a girl with a shoulderless black top with gold trim, black pants, black boots, long light green hair, tanned skin, purple eyes, a modest figure and black wristbands.
"Bagetta, I'm sensing some strong power levels ahead"
"Yeah, but they aren't as strong as us Wanta. Besides, we had a whole platoon."
They leapt through the forest with 22 soldiers behind them. Soon, they got near the forest checkpoint building. Abruptly, they began to go through the area Crimson set up with traps. Multiple explosive traps went off killing several soldiers. They tripped another wire and several strains of ninja wire wrapped around 5 shinobi.
"Dammit, we gotta cut them outta there!" one of the ninja said as he went to cut the wire only to trigger an lightning seal that sent several volts of electricity up the wire frying 6 soldiers in total.
"Rrrgh! These bitches!" Wanta grimaced
Immediately he had to block a punch from Shallot. But he was too slow as Shallot faked with a right just to kick him in the stomach.
"Urgh!"
Shallot did a spinning back fist sending him flying as he was sent flying across the ground. Shallot gathered yellow ki balls in both hands and shot them attacks towards Wanta who regained his balance and blocked the attack as he was blown away.
"You bastard!" Bagetta yelled and launched with a winded up heavy right
Shallot dodged the attack and he kneed her in the stomach causing her to cough up spit. He smashed his elbow into her back sending her crashing into the ground as a crater was created. Tarble flew up to meet him in the sky.
"Scatter shot!"
Shallot nodded as they held out their hands shooting ki blasts at the remaining forces.
Down below:
"That son of a bitch!" Wanta yelled as he got up trying to fly back up to meet the Saiyans only to have to fly away to dodge ki blasts
Crimson and was watching the battlefield with Karin using her mind's eye of the Kagura. She waited for a moment until
"All clear" Karin said as Crimson looked around with her night vision
"No bodies moving. Gonna do a sweep with my team. We're gonna get rid of the bodies and set up some barrier seals" Crimson said
"Ok, lets head back to the checkpoint"
Back at the checkpoint building.
The Leaf and Mist teams were securing the checkpoint.
"Phew, that was kinda tough" Chojuro said
Ao walked up and slapped his shoulder
"You did fine kid"
"Thank you Lieutenant Ao" he said with a bow
With Mei, she had just finished helping set up seals for a summoning circle in a large clearing next to the checkpoint tower.
"Summoning circle is set! Let's open the portal!" Mei yelled out
Ao, Kenji, Yari, Zabuza and Mei placed their hands in the ram seal and put their hands on the five outer seals that connected to all the 25 inner seals, with Kenji's Hiraishi kunai in the middle opening a blue void filled with light. The thing about dimension seals was that they only worked once, then you had to draw up another 30 seals from scratch and the portal could only teleport them once, but thanks to Kenji's Hiraishin kunai, they could reason the tags.
Back in the summoning room with the allied shinobi forces:
There was a lot of murmuring from the Leaf, Mist and Uzumaki shinobi.
"You 300 shinobi will be sent as a strike force while we send a Larger force of Shinobi to break our comrades from their prison. Pass these orders on to Terumi Mei and Ao. In 1 week's time we shall join you at the Outpost." Genryusai said
"Sir Yes Sir!" all the shinobi yelled
Soon the sealing circle began to glow and he put his hands in a ram seal sending the shinobi to the battle front. As they left Genryusai and Arashi
"We will be setting sale tomorrow, the ships are all set" He continued as he walked away and exited the room
As he left Arashi waited 5 minutes before closing the door of the sealing room and sealing it shut and making it sound proof. Soon a white substance oozed out of the cracks sealing floor in a distorted form
"M-mass-sstttter?"
"Eleven, status report"
"Th-hhhheee c-cappp-iiitttall hassss sssettt uppp arrrangggemmeentsss fffforrr ussssss affftttterrrr the battle"
"Good, once this war is over, it will be time for Operation Hikari. The Uzumaki shall reek vengeance on those who have wronged us. The lands of Rain, Earth, and Lightning shall know our wrath! Let Gill know to start preparations and set sail to the Land of Whirlpools!"
"Y-yesss, masssterrrr" the white substance said as it sank into the ground.
