She ran until her lungs hurt. It was suffocating her, but she didn't know where or what exactly is she running from or towards until she made it to the end of a cliff and there it was the Shikon Jewel floating in the middle of it. The jewel's shine was becoming even brighter she noticed. "I got rid of it" she reminded herself. All of a sudden, the jewel started to move towards her and infused itself inside her. She woke up startled, she quickly noticed she was sweating profusely, her clothing clanged to her skin. She had to control herself. "It was just another dream", she kept murmuring. "I made sure the jewel no longer existed". This particular dream has been a normal occurrence now she's had it a few times since she came back home for good. She doesn't even want to ponder what it actually means but the nagging feeling to find out has been weighing on her mind a lot this past few days since the dream has become more frequent. She decided to just put her worry to rest for now and get ready for the day ahead.

She walked to the bathroom to start her routine as usual. After taking a shower, hair damped and wrapped in a towel. She walked to her room to get ready for her first day of work at Jujutsu High.

She opted for a more professional look, a simple black blazer with a pencil skirt and heels. She thought it would be proper since she wasn't given much of a description of what to expect since it was all done through e-mail, she would learn everything there was to know when she got there. They also mentioned they'd provide transportation to the school grounds because it was a secluded area, and it would be hard to find. She thought it was a bit weird that a school would work like that, but she wants to teach so getting to do what she loves outweighs everything, plus she was going to be compensated quite well. She went down the stairs into the kitchen to get an apple to munch on. It wasn't much of a breakfast, but her nerves were on edge, and she couldn't stomach a full breakfast.

She wondered if she should go by the hospital after work to visit her mother. She had fallen ill due to a unknown disease a while back and for a while she was doing better that all changed a few days ago her treatments weren't working anymore, and she's been mostly unconscious from the strong sedatives and medicines the doctors are pumping into her to hopefully find a cocktail of medication that will make her feel better. Kagome is distraught about the whole situation she even tried to use her powers, but it seems like they do more damage than good when she doesn't even know what she should be looking for. She needs to train more to get stronger in hopes she can heal her mother from this unknown illness. Ever since, she came back from the well she noticed an awful energy emanating from people all around her. She didn't know what it was, but it seems to be in correlation with those entities she's never seen up until she came back from destroying the Shikon Jewel. It's all too weird for her at this point. At least, from what she gathered the shrine is keeping them away so she thought her family would at least be safe from them. Her mother's illness could be related to those entities, but she can't be certain since her powers went haywire for a while, she noticed it changing and expanding. She feels it in her soul she's getting stronger, but it still doesn't matter because she needs more training in controlling them.

Anyway, she decided to walk out and lock the door since her ride to the school should be arriving soon. She assumed it would be best if she waited outside for them so that way, the person didn't have to honk the horn or anything its 6 am after all her grandpa is still sleeping inside the house.

After a few minutes of waiting, true to their word the driver showed up. He was about to honk when she made it known it was her, he was supposed to be picking up. The man in a black suit came out of the car he bowed briefly and introduced himself. "Hello Higurashi-san I'm Kiyotaka Ijichi, you can call me Ijichi-san I'll be your driver and escort to Jujutsu High." Kagome bowed briefly in return and replied, "it's nice to meet you Ijichi-San you can just call me Kagome." He opened the rear door of the car and ushered her to the backseat. He murmured more to himself something about Gojo possibly overworking him to death. She felt for the guy hopefully she can say something to Gojo-san then again, the white-haired man lives in his own world from what she gathered when she met him in the café. He probably won't even bother with listening to anything she has to say.

Thankfully, dare she say it, the drive to the school was uneventful. When she got there, she was surprised at the barrier surrounding the school. As she passed through the barrier, she saw how big and grand the school was compared to any other school she'd ever been to this particular school had a few buildings in the area along with open field areas.

Ijichi-san parked the car. Before she made a move to get out of the car, he instructed "I'll be escorting you to the main office where you'll meet Principal Yaga and Gojo-san." She was so nervous about the whole ordeal and replied with as much firmness she could muster "Ok, will I get more information about the job? Gojo-san was cryptic about what I should expect from the students and school." Ijichi-san didn't seem at all surprised about that since this was all a trap to corner her and basically investigate her. He felt bad for going along with this, but it must be necessary to make sure that she isn't a danger to the jujutsu sorcerers.

Ijichi wondered if they'll even tell her that the events that unfolded in the coffee shop last week were basically their own doing. It was to assess how she would react in that situation. It should've made things clearer but for whatever reason here he is bringing her to her possible doom. She's a beautiful woman he'll give her that but if she's to be Gojo Satoru's natural enemy and she later plans something against him. They know they'll pay for it dearly. Luckily, for now it doesn't seem to be the case. He hopes fervently that she's an ally.

Kagome steps out of the car and knocks on Ijichi-san car window snapping him out of his reverie. Once he steps out of the car he bows "I apologize for my indiscretion. It won't happen again." He says ashamed for his lack of professionalism.

She smiled and reassured him, "No worries your fine, it happens to the best of us."

"Thank you, Kagome-san. Please follow me I'll take you to the main office" he kindly replied.

They made their trek to the school building in the middle of the campus. When they got there Ijichi addressed her once again "Here we are at the main office the receptionist should be able to point you to the principal's office where your meeting is to be held. It was nice meeting you Kagome-san and welcome to our staff."

Kagome replied, "Thank you very much have a nice day Ijichi-san."

"You as well Kagome-san."

As Ijichi walked out of the building, Kagome approached the receptionist desk. A woman with light brown hair partly heavy on the makeup and a dark green fitted dress wasted no time and spoke, "Good morning, you must be Kagome Higurashi the principal Yaga-sama and Gojo-san will be right with you. You may take a seat if you like while you wait."

Kagome took a brief look at the main office it wasn't that big of an area, but it was definitely very well decorated and when she sat down on a chair on the left side of the waiting room, she noted that the chairs were really comfortable and cushioned. There's a lot of pictures of students she noted. There was one photo in particular that caught her eye. She looked at it briefly it was a young Gojo-san she presumed with some of his friends. She smiled briefly while looking at it. She was amazed of all the memorabilia and kept looking around until her eyes inadvertently landed on the receptionist and noticed she was shooting daggers at her.

"Geez, I just got here and there's people who don't like me already" she murmured to herself. She wondered if it had anything to do with looking at Gojo-San's photo for a minute too long. Perhaps this woman has a crush on him. Kagome will probably avoid Gojo-san in the foreseeable future to avoid making enemies.
