"Can't believe they chewed me out, Kacchan was the reason they couldn't get close enough," said Midoriya who was on his way home after trying to save Bakugo from the slime villain.
"At least I tried to do something," he said.
"It can be tough when heroes let you down,'' a voice came from nowhere.
"Who… who's there?" asked a terrified Midoriya.
"A friend who wants to give you a chance to be something more," said All For One as he appeared from the shadows of a building.
"What do you mean?" asked Midoriya.
"Heroes aren't worth our time or money, they are nothing but lies that we created," said All For One.
"If you join me you will have a chance to overturn this failed society that only sees you as a waste and laughs at you for being powerless," he said.
"No way, I'd never be a villain!" said Midoriya before running away.
"We'll see about that," said All For One. That night, Midoriya was sitting at his computer watching news videos.
"And what about the quirkless kid who rushed into the scene?" asked the reporter.
"He's an example of why people need heroes," said Backdraft.
"Hopefully he stops with the delusion that he's hero material and leaves it to those with the power to help, otherwise he'll only get himself and others killed," said Death Arms.

"And they're commending him," he said as he changed to a video of Bakugo being mentioned and praised by the heroes for the actions he took while being held hostage.
"Have you changed your mind yet?" asked All For One while a portal opened behind Midoriya.
"Izuku, are you still… up?" asked Inku as she opened the door but found her son gone without a single trace of him or where he had gone.
