Robot asks for Help
(Ayla's POV)
*We flew through the sky until we arrived at the Presidential House in the Land of the Sky. We stepped into the President's office*
Sonic: Mr. President, what's the urgent business?
*Suddenly, we heard a very familiar laugh. Then the chair behind the desk turned around, revealing a large, round human male with a round head, peach skin, black eyes, a long brown mustache, thick arms, long legs, & wearing pince-nez glasses with blue tinted lenses, a red jacket with golden wrist button, white pair of gloves, a small yellow cape with triangular collar stretching down to the edge of his pants in the front, & black contoured, form-fitting one-piece pants/boots with two yellow buttons in front*
Dr. Robotnik: It's been a long time, hasn't it? Good to see you again, Sonic and Ayla.
Tails: Dr. Robotnik!
Dr. Robotnik: Please accept this small token of my gratitude for coming all this way to see me.
*Suddenly, two of his robots appeared behind us & started firing. But we dodged & then destroyed them, me using my Ring Blades and to slice them like cheese*
Sonic: That's a funny way to thank us.
Ayla: Whatever you're up this time, slime-ball, it ends now!
*He & I charged at him, ready to attack, but a shout stopped us*
?:*off-screen* Sonic, Ayla, stop!
*We turned & saw an army of Robotnik's robots, holding a large human male with brown hair, tan skin, pointed ears, brown eyes, a brown mustache & beard combo, & wearing a blue sash over a white uniform decorated with medals & a teenage human girl with brown hair with salmon tips at the ends, peach skin, teal eyes, a beauty mark on her right cheek, next to her mouth, a brown cat tail, & wearing a deep pink hat with yellow on the back, shaped like cat ears, on her head, green earrings, a deep pink jacket over a yellow crop top, red gloves, a yellow skirt, & pink & white boots, captive*
President: Sonic, Ayla, for the sake of my daughter and everyone else, listen to him!
Sonic: That's a dirty trick, Robotnik!
Abigail: Once a slime-ball, always a slime-ball!
Tails: No fair! You kidnapped the President and Sara so you could hold them for ransom and take over South Island, didn't you!?
*Robotnik laughed & jumped out of the President's chair*
Dr. Robotnik: Do you think I'm capable of something that underhanded? Me?
All (even the robots): Yes!
*He fell to the floor*
Dr. Robotnik: Now, Sonic, Ayla, I've got the upper hand. This is about the entire Planet of Freedom so you better do as I say!
Sonic: No way!
Ayla: Forget it!
*Robotnik grabbed Sara by her chin & some of the robots pointed their spikes at her*
Dr. Robotnik: Don't you care about pretty young Sara?
Sara: Help me, Daddy!
*I've never liked Sara. I always thought she was a spoiled, ungrateful brat, who has a crush on my brother. But I knew not even she deserved this*
President: Little Sara! Sonic, Ayla, please listen to whatever Robotnik has to say.
*Me, Sonic, & Tails all sat down on the desk*
Sonic: Oh, alright. Give us the scoop, Robotnik.
Ayla: What's so important that you had to kidnap the President and his daughter to get our attention?
Dr. Robotnik: Thank you, Sonic, Ayla. I will. *a small hologram of the planet appeared in his hand* As you all well know, Planet Freedom is made up of two separate dimensions. The outer world, the one you live in, known as the Land of the Sky.
Sonic: Tell us something we don't know.
Ayla: Get to the point already!
Dr. Robotnik: Shut up! Heed me! The inner dimension is known as the Land of Darkness.
*That's when we all started to fall asleep*
(Third-Person POV)
Dr. Robotnik: There, I lived peacefully in a utopia city called Robotropolis. Until Metal Robotnik came out of nowhere and attacked my peaceful city with a battalion of demonic robots. They conquered us and drove me out of my home. Metal Robotnik then sabotage the robot generator which creates the high voltage electricity for the entire city. It is running uncontrollably and there is no place to store this access electricity. According to my calculations, is the robot generator isn't stopped by sunrise tomorrow, there will be a giant explosion. *then he noticed that everyone was asleep* Fine! Don't blame me when this happens!
*He took out a needle & poked the hologram with it*
(Ayla's POV)
POP!
*That's what woke us all up. I giggled when I opened my eyes & saw Robotnik all singed & frazzled*
President: How can we stop this terrible thing from happening, Robotnik?
Dr. Robotnik: There's only one thing to do. Someone has to get through Metal Robotnik traps, go to Robotropolis, and stop that generator before sunrise. *he pointed at me & Sonic* And it should be the fastest ones here!
Sonic: Forget about it. You created that stupid contraption in the first place.
Ayla: Why should we have to clean up your mess?
*The President ran up to us*
President: Sonic, Ayla, please do it! You're the only one's here that can save South Island and the entire Planet Freedom!
*Then Sara ran up to us, pushing her Dad aside*
Sara: Sonic, I don't care what happens to Robotnik or Daddy, but please. Just do this for the two of us.
Ayla:*in her mind* Is she serious!? How can she say that in front of her own Dad!?
*Sonic jumped off the desk. I quickly followed him*
Sonic: Someone tell me why my sister and I should trust Robotnik when nine out of 100 times he's lying?
Ayla: You can't ever trust what comes out of his mouth.
*Tails flew off the table & landed next to us*
Tails: But what if this is that one other time?
*We both looked at him in thought. He did have a point there*
Sara: Please, Sonic? Ayla?
*I looked at Sara. As much as I didn't like her & she was always trying to butter me up into becoming friends with her, we had to at least check to see if he was telling the truth*
President: Please, Sonic. Ayla.
Sonic: Fine. We'll do it.
Ayla:
Tails: Sonic. Ayla.
*Robotnik gave Tails a watch*
Dr. Robotnik: You'll need to take this with you, Tails. It's a navigator. As long as you have that with you, it should take you to Robotropolis. Using the shortest and fastest route.
Tails: Thank you, Robotnik.
Sonic: Come on. Let's go.
*Tails & I nodded & we zoomed out of the room*
*Soon, we were flying in the Tornado, or next to it in my case, on our way to the Land of Darkness*
Sonic: Tails, do you actually trust that ridiculous little gadget that Robotnik built for you? He's not exactly trustworthy. He could have put a bomb for us in there.
Tails: But Dr. Robotnik is the only person who knows where Robotropolis is. So we have to use the navigator and hope it works.
Sonic: I guess so.
Tails: Gee. I hope the President and Sara are doing alright.
*I shrugged*
Ayla: Ah, I'm sure they're fine. Hopefully, this'll teach Sara not to be such a spoiled brat and respect her Dad.
Tails: Sara's not that bad, Ayla.
*I rolled my eyes*
Ayla: Oh please. You're just saying that because she's got you wrapped around her little finger. She's a teenager and she throws tantrums like a 3 year-old. Augh! It's so annoying!
(Third-Person POV)
