My Hero Academia: Class 1A's New Student

Hello everyone, you might notice that the format of this chapter is different. And that's because two people left some valid criticism about the way it's written. The format makes it a bit wordy and hard to read, so I'm going to break it up into separate spaces when characters are talking/interacting with each other, and paragraphs will be more spread out. Also, no one said anything about this but I realized that Nathan shot a guy with a robot arm attacking Midoriya and didn't explain why, so I'm just going to save some valuable time and just say he was a part of the criminal gang that attacked the arcade. But anyway, this is the next chapter.

Chapter 2: The Hideout

Midoirya, Uraraka, Tokoyami, Todorki, Kirishima and Bakugo continued to follow Nathan, for about five minutes until Nathan walked over to a motorcycle, the gas tank was black with an orange racing stripe painted across it. The handlebars were more raised and the paint job was sports inspired.

"You have a motorcycle?" Midoriya asked.

"Yeah, I built it myself." Nathan said.

"How did you manage that? Did your parents give you their credit card?" Bakugou asked with an edge. Nathan just gave Bakugou a look that told him, he's touched a nerve.

"I never knew my parents, and I found the parts in a scrapyard." Nathan said bluntly.

Uraraka glanced at Bakugou, who had a look of guilt for a split second. Nathan started up the bike. It roared to life, sounding like a mini jet.

"Woo, listen to that." Nathan said. "Hope you can keep up, it's about an hour away."

Todoroki stepped forward. "What's an hour away?"

Nathan looked at him. "Your answers."

And with that Nathan sped off, the students of class 1a followed Nathan and caught up with him pretty quick.

An hour later…

Nathan stopped at an old abandoned warehouse in an industrial park. Nathan killed the engine and got off the bike.

"Why are we here?" Midoriya asked.

Nathan walked over to a warehouse and knocked on the side door, a homeless kid about their age opened it, looked at Nathan, and smiled.

"Hey Everyone, Nathan's back." the kid said to others inside that class 1A couldn't see. The kid saw the UA High school students.

"Who are they?" the kid asked, confused.

"They're friends, Geno." Nathan said.

The kid, now named Geno, still had a skeptical look on his face but eventually relented. Geno opened the door and invited everyone inside. Inside was a massive group of homeless people, most were down on their luck, and some of them the students recognized to have been presumed dead. Nathan walked over to an office at the far end and turned to the UA students.

"This way." Nathan said, opening the door to the office.

When everyone was inside, Nathan closed the door, and got straight to the point.

"I grew up with most of those people, we were on the streets most of our lives, so I made a promise to protect them. There were a few of us who could manage that, now that was before I became a vigilante. And before I got my powers."

"How did you get your powers?" Midoriya asked.

Nathan lifted his shirt to show a bullet wound scar on his stomach.Uraraka put a hand over her mouth when she

"It happened the same night I got my powers. The only reason I survived was because I was saved by a man named Johnny Blaze, my mentor." Nathan pulled his shirt back down. "My power isn't a quirk, it's a curse. I was bonded by a fallen angel named Zarathos."

Midoriya was speechless. And in the back of his head it sounds similar to how midoriya got his powers minus the injury. And the fallen angel sounds similar to Tokoyami and Dark Shadow.

"So this Zarathos? What can it do?" Todoroki asked.

"It has the usual things you'd expect from a power. Super strength, speed, fire, etc." Nathan Paused.

"But I can also burn souls, Just by looking them in the eye." The atmosphere in the room grows tense.

"Burn… souls?" Midoriya muttered.

"Yeah, that's what happened to those criminals, here's the thing, I could have made it permanent, but that would have been an even bigger dick move." Nathan said.

"But what about the ones you killed?" Todoroki asked.

Nathan just looked at Todoroki with an unreadable expression. Nathan extended his hand out and summoned chains that were on fire. Leaving everyone stunned.

"Does that answer your question? And those criminals were killers." Nahtan asked.

Midoryia didn't agree with Nathans point of view but that doesn't stop him from admiring Nathan's powers. Midoryia started muttering to himself about Nathan's powers. Nathan was a bit weirded out.

"Does he do that often?" Nathan asked the others.

Uraraka said. "Yes, he does." Midoriya stopped as he realized what was happening.

"Sorry, it's a habit," he said.

"I can see that." Nathan said.

Bakugou looked outside the window next to them. the blinds were down. Bakugo lifted one of the blinds to look out to the rest of the warehouse.

"So, how long have you been here?" Bakugo asked.

"We've been here for about 5 years." Nathan answered.

He then opened the door to the office and said.

"I'll show you around."

The 1A Students followed Nathan and Nathan gave them a tour, starting with doors to a truck yard.

Nathan explains. "This is where we have have trucks we found, they were old and broken down and fixed them up and use those to travel to a nearby dock, and come back with fish."

Nathan then takes them to a bunch of shelves. The shelves were normal height. "We used to store guns, melee weapons, motorcycle parts, car parts, Emergency MREs, and even non perishable foods. We tend to sort this out by what is on the shelf first."

Nathan then points to a white board. On the whiteboard were dates ranging from a few months back to last week. "We also keep track of food, in case anything expires."

Midoriya is impressed. "How long did it take you to do all of this?"

Nathan leans next to a wall "we've done it this way a year after finding it"

Everyone is surprised. "Four years?" Nathan nodded.

Suddenly an alarm in the truck yard starts buzzing and one of the doors starts to open.

"They're back already?" Nathan walked over and then stopped in his tracks.

"No way." Nathan muttered under his breath. The 1A students rush over.

"Nathan? What is it?" Uraraka asked. Her question was answered a second later when a giant black blur burst through charging directly at Nathan. Midoryia uses black whip to pull Nathan out of reach. Midoryia looked at the attacker. It was unmistakable, the same monster that almost killed All Might. A Nomu. And it was staring down at them.

I figured that's a good place to stop there. You'll have to wait for the next chapter to see the fight against Nomu. It will probably be a whole chapter. And after that I will introduce the other 1A members. Please leave a review but don't leave hateful comments. Thank you.
