"Hugo, it's time," Ariadne hit her husband on the arm. It had been a while, but she knew a contraction when it hit.
Hugo opened one eye and looked at Ariadne. "Time for what?" He questioned. He really wanted to go back to sleep.
Ariadne rolled her eyes. "Your son is coming," She mumbled.
Hugo sat up and jumped out of bed. "Shit, we need to get to center."
Ariadne sighed as she watched Hugo throw on jeans and shirt. "Hugo, we still have time. My contractions are still twenty minutes apart," She had to remember that this was his first baby even those this was her third. Hugo nodded. "You need to call my parents so they can watch the girls." Hugo nodded. He went back to the bed and picked up his phone. Ariadne knew that he had her parents on the line when Hugo started running his hand through his hair. He was a nervous reck.
Ariadne let out a laugh before a contraction hit. She let out a moan that had Hugo looking over. He hung up the phone. "Your parents are on their way," He said.
Ariadne nodded. "Come and help me up," Hugo ran to the other side of the bed and helped Ariadne out of bed. He helped her put on some clothes so they could get to the center in time.
Hugo helped Ariadne downstairs when they saw her parents come out of the sitting room. Astoria hugged Ariadne. "You'll do great," Ariadne nodded. It was her mother that was with her when she gave birth the last time.
"Hugo, breathe," Draco said to his son-in-law. Hugo nodded. "Your wife needs you and so does your baby." Hugo nodded again.
"The girls areā¦" Ariadne started.
"Don't worry about the girls, we got them," Astoria said. "Go," She pushed them towards the fireplace. Hugo grabbed her bag as they went through.
It didn't take long for them to get settled once they were at the center. Ariadne lay in bed watching as Hugo paced the room. Ariadne would have laughed but her contractions were getting closer. She had to think of something different. She caught Hugo's ring in the light as he passed her again.
It was only four months ago that they got married. After they got engaged they didn't want to wait to get married. They set the date in October and the place right away. They didn't want a big thing like their other marriages. It was only family and friends at this wedding.
They had the wedding at their country home in the ballroom. Ariadne walked out on the arms of her girls as Hugo waited at the end of aisle for them. Ariadne couldn't stop smiling as they said their vows to each other. Once they kissed the whole room cheered for them.
Hugo and she went on a two-week honeymoon in Greece. Once they got home the holidays hit and they were thrown into it. During Christmas, Hugo came out and asked to adopt the girls. They were getting the paperwork done now. Dean didn't mind giving up his rights to the girls. It was only a matter of courts now.
The midwife came into the room with smile. "Are you ready, Ariadne?" Ariadne gave her a look. The midwife laughed. She checked on Ariadne. "It seems that you are." The midwife looked over at Hugo. "Mr. Weasley, come and take your wife's hand. Your baby is coming." Hugo came over and held Ariadne's hand. "Push," The midwife said.
Ariadne pushed when she was told. She heard when they saw the head. Ariadne wondered if they had red hair like their father. Soon she heard when they had the shoulders. Ariadne felt her baby come out. She heard the cries of her son. The midwife placed the baby on Ariadne's chest.
Ariadne looked down at her son and saw how tiny he was. She wrapped an arm around him. Ariadne glanced over at Hugo to see him crying. The nurse that was helping took their son to clean and for the midwife to take care of the afterbirth.
They brought her son back wrapped in a blanket and placed him in her arms. Ariadne turned to Hugo. "Would you like to hold your son?"
Hugo nodded and Ariadne placed their son in his arms. Hugo leaned down and kissed the top of his head. "I love you," He said.
"Do we have a name for this little guy?" The midwife asked.
"Trent Hugo Weasley," Hugo said without looking up.
Ariadne cried as she watched Hugo with Trent. They had waited for this for so long. Hugo handed Trent back to her. "We have to let the family know that the newest member is here," Hugo pulled out his phone to let everyone know that Trent Hugo Weasley was here.
Ariadne looked down at her son and saw that he had his father's eyes, but he had no hair, so they were going to have to wait until he grew some to find out. Ariadne leaned down and kissed him. "You are loved," She said.
Ariadne glanced at her husband and smiled. She couldn't wait to share the rest of her life with this man. They had been meant to be together since they were sixteen and after many years, they had a son together. Ariadne couldn't be happier for them right now.
