Mrs Patmore decides to sell her B&B, after the house of ill repute scandal and she is devastated, but unexpectedly the Carsons decide to give her a helping hand. AU-different plot then we had in the series. Placed by the end of season six.

March 1912 - a baby is abandoned at the doors of Downton Abbey. Servant Thomas Barrow agrees to claim paternity for the foundling. The story mainly revolves around Thomas and his daughter, but the other characters also play a role in every chapter. The characters don't belong to me, only the OC does.

Daisy would have been very young when she started work at Downton Abbey in 1912, probably no more than 12 or 13, and not yet begun to educate herself as she did in later years. This is Daisy's story told in her own words and with her own grammatical errors.

While the Crawley's deal with the lingering effects of the depression, Robert struggles with Edward VIII decision to abdicate. Meanwhile, Tom struggles with his identity again after the new Irish Constitution. Amidst it all, Sybbie is coming of age. Main parings will be Cobert and Tom/Lucy but some Mary/Henry (because Robert lives with both, and Tom works with both).

Robert Crawley is officially a senior citizen. Oh, and it's his birthday too.

When widower and father Charles Carson comes to Downton Abbey, he develops a relationship with the family he serves. Over time, he is quite taken with a certain housekeeper. Also, the young Earl and his American wife are beginning to expand their family. This is an 1880s AU set a few years earlier than the canon backstory with Chelsie and Cobert at the forefront.

Till Death Do Us Part; Some time into their marriage Elsie discovers something that she fears might bring an end to their happiness...Will that be the case? Or will they survive through life's tragedies together? Rated-M for adult content and strong themes in the future chapters.

When the tragedy strikes at the Crawley house, Charles and Elsie are both trying to cope with it and the best way for them, is to do it together. My own, extended version of the scene from episode 5, of season 3.
