Music steadily pounded throughout the large club, colorful strobe lights moved in sync with every beat. Heated bodies surrounding one another, while dancers moved seductively on stage.
Hinata sat by the bar, a martini glass in her hand. Red lips caressed the rim of the glass, gulping down the burning liquid in one shot.
She gestured at the waiter for another drink, long dark hair parting, exposing the intricate guardian lions tattooed on her shoulder blades. The menacing lions seemed to glow under the light, blue with purple undertones.
As she brought the glass to her lips once more, a loud, blaring, voice echoed throughout the club.
"Hyuuuggaaaa!" The boisterous young man screamed, drawing the attention of the entire club, except for Hinata.
Her ears twitched but she ignored the loud call, back facing away from him, and finished her drink.
"Give me a bottle of sake," she casually commanded the bartender. She would need something much, much, stronger to deal with him.
The bartender quickly followed the order. Who was he to question his boss?
"Hey let go of me! I just wanna talk to Hinata!" She heard him struggle against the hold of her bodyguards.
A smirk graced her lips as her bodyguard reprimanded him "Show some respect! It's Hyuga-Sama!"
"Fine! Whatever! I want to talk to Hyuga-Sama!" He exaggerated her title disrespectfully, knowing it would annoy her.
"Hinata-Sama" Neji, her close confidant, and high ranking member of the clan asked her, "What would you like us to do with him?"
"Let him pass," Hinata indicated cooly, without looking at her cousin.
Neji nodded and gestured for the guards to release the blonde haired man and his friend.
His heavy footsteps banged on the ground hurriedly, loud and uncaring that he was disturbing her night.
"Hinata! We need to talk!" He practically screamed loudly in her ear, making her jaw clench in irritation.
"Uzumaki." she said simply, pointedly avoiding looking at him, and instead took a long swig of her sake.
"Why are you sending your men into our territory?! I thought we had an agreement!" He recklessly continued without a care to her obvious annoyance or to his surroundings.
A mirthless chuckle left her lips as she continued to avoid his gaze, "You call that little strip of land territory? You're as dumb as always."
"Hey! That land has a bar and casino!" he replied indignantly like a pouting child, stepping into her personal space.
"See such an idiot. Who would call that little shack held together by dirt and duck tape a bar?" Hinata finally turned to look at him with a haughty smirk gracing her cherry red lips.
His pretty lips set into a pout, highlighting his boyish good looks. His stupidly spiky messy blonde hair hung in front of his ocean blue eyes. His dumb whisker tattoos enhanced the curve of his cheekbones and the sharpness of his jaw.
He was dressed like a common street thug as usual, lacking all class, with his ripped up black jacket, see-through chain mail shirt that exposed his abs and dumb eight trigram seal tattoo. Not to mention his gaudy burnt orange ripped jeans that made him an easy target to spot. Truthfully, she wasn't sure how he managed to survive this long.
Worst of all he was looking at her with those bright blue, puppy dog eyes, acting like he was worthy of her time.
Hinata scoffed and shifted her eyes to his companion, who unlike him, was dressed professionally, white shirt with the top buttons open, black slacks.
Her lips twisted in derision. "I see you brought your Uchiha lapdog with you."
Said man glared at her with his dark brooding eyes, looking handsome and agitated as usual. The feeling between them was mutual of course.
"Come on, don't be like that. Sasuke's my partner." Naruto looked nervously between the two, white eyes and black eyes clashing.
He knew he shouldn't have brought Sasuke along but the dark haired man insisted on coming claiming that it was much too dangerous for him to go alone.
Hinata's dark brows raised mockingly. A challenge in her white eyes, her voice dripping with venom, "That doesn't explain why he follows you around like a lost little bitch nipping at your heels, begging for your attention."
Anger spiked through the dark haired man, his voice raising as he stepped forward in agitation, "That's rich coming from Naruto's little wh-"
Naruto gripped Sasuke's arm roughly and let out a low growl, "Sasuke cool it." Blue and black eyes battled before Sasuke relented with a scowl on his face.
Hinata smirked triumphantly at the last Uchiha, before standing up, gesturing for Naruto to follow her.
"Neji, make sure Uchiha stays out of trouble." Hinata told him before smugly glaring at Sasuke, "Be a good boy while your master's away." Sasuke gave her a look that could kill but did nothing as his calculating eyes tracked their movements until they were out of sight.
Naruto followed Hinata down the hallway and up the stairs to her office, all the while appreciating the tight black dress that hugged her impressive curves.
"Ya know, I never understood why you and Sasuke hate each other so much." Naruto voiced as they made their way up the steps.
"Uchihas are traitors. There's a reason why their clan is extinct." She looked at Naruto over her shoulder, "You better watch your back around him." her voice was cold and serious as she warned him.
Naruto just grinned handsomely at her, "Aww I didn't realize you cared so much about me."
Hinata scoffed as she opened her office door, "Who says that I care about you?" It's just friendly advice."
"Since when were you friendly?" Naruto laughed and Hinata scoffed again as she locked the door behind them.
Her office was fancy to say the least. A large mahogany desk stood in the center of the room, a large couch on one end along with a big flatscreen tv and a fully stocked bar on the opposite side of the room.
He watched as she pulled out two crystal glasses and filled them with sake. She offered him a glass and started drinking her own.
His eyes focused on her exposed throat as she gulped down the burning liquid, to the top of her breasts, squeezed so tight in that little black dress, filling it out oh so perfectly.
Naruto quickly downed his drink, yet it did nothing to quench his thirst.
Hinata smiled confidently at him, a quirk in her brow. He knew he was caught checking her out. But, really, who could blame him for looking?
"So what do you want from me, Uzumaki?" She asked straight to business, dangerous undertones coating her voice, as she enjoyed the heated look in his eyes.
"Oh right." Naruto's mind went blank for a moment before focusing, a serious look overtaking his eyes "I need you to call off your men. They're poking around in my territory. You promised me that you wouldn't interfere."
"You're cute when you're serious." a low giggled escaped her lips before Hinata pierced him with her cold white eyes, her voice lowered dangerously, "But I never promised you anything…Oyabun isn't pleased with a newcomer encroaching on our city… He allowed it when you were just a loud idiot but you're making moves that displeases him."
"Heh, I'm not scared of the Hyuga." Naruto said cockily, looking down at her with his towering height. His rough hand cupped her jawline while his other hand played with the dark strands of her hair.
"After all, I have you." he whispered huskily, his fingertips gently gliding over her cheek," Remember, you saved me before."
"That was a lapse of judgment." Hinata said coolly, looking up at him through her lashes.
How could she forget? She was oh so graciously rewarded for her act of stupidity with a brutal beat down, courtesy of her father. She ended up with broken ribs and a dislocated jaw for all her troubles.
Hell, he ordered her to get up and fix herself, commanding that no clan member interfere. She was only lucky that he didn't take her life. So yeah, she definitely didn't forget that mistake.
Naruto leaned down, eyes flickering to her pretty red lips, only a breath away from capturing her mouth, "We kissed before."
"An even bigger lapse of judgment." Hinata replied sarcastically, shoulders squared, chin raised confidently up towards him. His taller stature didn't intimidate her in the least.
He whispered sensually against her lips, his deep ocean eyes staring intently into her guarded white eyes, "We made love before, more than once."
Hinata laughed cruelly, a harsh choking sound leaving her mouth, "Is that what you call it?" her breath catching in her throat uncomfortably, as the poison left her lips, "Get over yourself, Uzumaki. We fucked."
"Come on, don't be like that, Hime. I know you felt something, that you still feel it." Naruto husked, cooing at her so sweetly it was sickening.
Her white eyes rolled, before piercing him with a cocky gaze, "Please don't tell me you're one of those guys who believe that fucking a girl means that you're in love."
Naruto grinned naughtily, his thumb ghosting over her pouty lips, "Babe, if I thought that I'd be in love so many times I'd lose count."
Icy white eyes flashed dangerously in annoyance and dare he say jealousy, tone biting as she said, "Then go feed your stupid lines to one of your sluts instead."
"I don't want them, I want you." Naruto rasped seductively as he captured her lips in a rough needy kiss, all tongue and teeth. He gripped her waist tightly pulling her soft curves flush against him.
Hinata tugged roughly on the messy blond hair on the back of his head, nails digging into his scalp. Her other hand cupped his sharp jawline, angling his head down to thoroughly devour him.
Suddenly, sharp canines pressed down hard on his puffy bottom lip, savagely piercing the soft skin, enough to draw blood. His fingers gripped her waist tight enough to bruise.
Naruto jerked back with a curse but Hinata gripped his hair harshly pulling him down against her unforgiving bite. Teeth pierced his bottom lip once more, until it was swollen and bruised, blood dripping down his chin. She sucked it up like a vampire, until she was satisfied, finally freeing his abused lip.
"Ah Fuck! Hinata!" He cursed, incredulously staring at her. His lip swollen and pulsing with pain.
Hinata looked at him with a sadistic glint in her eyes, mouth messy with blood. Her tongue poked out, licking the blood left on her lips. Naruto couldn't tell whether the red staining her lips was from his blood or her lipstick. "What? You can't handle a little pain?"
Then she smirked at him, looking like the devil incarnate. Her grip on his hair didn't loosen, her shiny black nails traced the whisker tattoos on his right cheek.
"You're just a foolish boy playing a very dangerous game… Who the hell do you think you are? Talking about shit like love…Acting like some lowly street thug trying to play Oyabun." The cruelty left her mouth like a curse.
"If I'm just a low-level thug then why are you and your father scared?" Naruto fiercely stated, he would never back down from a challenge.
Her anger spiked. "You don't get it do you? The Hyuga is the strongest clan in Japan. We will destroy you." Darkness shadowed her eyes, her nails dug into his skin, right on top of one of his whisker tattoos.
"You're just playing pretend… You know, these marks represent the demon fox…" her voice lowered dangerously, "but did you know that these whiskers are meant to be scars…" Sharp nails dug into his cheek, hard, penetrating the skin of his tattoo, blood dripped down her fingers.
Naruto didn't say a word, he gritted his teeth and squeezed her hips so hard she thought her bones might shatter, as he backed her up against the bar table, the wood digging into her back roughly.
That didn't stop her from messing up his face, nails cutting a path through each whisker mark on his right cheek, "Rough and jagged, they say the demon, lost in a ferocious rage, tore out the flesh from his cheeks with his own claws… Would you do that, Uzumaki?" she whispered with a strange mix of cold seductiveness.
His blue eyes glared menacingly at her as he roughly gripped the bloody hand tearing into his flesh. "Don't underestimate me, Hinata. I've killed men with my bare hands. I've done everything that makes me a Yakuza and the Oyaban of my own clan."
Withering white eyes pierced him, "Do you know what it feels like to be beaten within an inch of your life for talking out of term? By your own father?... Do you know what it's like to have the kindness, the humanity, beaten out of you? Do you know the thousand different ways to torture a man, prolonging his life for days, while making every second his own personal living hell? All the while begging you to stop?"
His silence and dumbfounded look in his eyes spoke for themselves.
"You know nothing…" she whispered, void of emotion.
"Hinata… I" He swallowed thickly, throat constricting, blood still dripping down his cheek, past his jaw and down his neck.
"The only way you can survive the Hyuga is by becoming the demon you pretend to be…" Her white eyes intensified, and she took a deep steadying breath, "Walk away, Naruto." she told him firmly, her voice cold and devoid of emotion.
Naruto shook his head, resolutely stating "I won't back down. I need to restore my clan."
"Why? Because you found out that your mom was some bigtime Yakuza? That's why she's dead." Hinata told him coldly, knowing that it cut like a knife in his chest, "You'll join her soon enough, by my hand, if you don't let this go." She looked at him like he was the enemy and it made his blood boil.
"You talk so big, Hinata, but you won't do it." Naruto's voice rose with anger, and he pulled out a gun from his holster, pushing it into her hands and roughly pointing it at his own chest, firmly pressing her hand against the gun.
"Do it. Kill me now." A challenge in his blazing blue eyes, voice rough with anger. "What's wrong? I thought you wanted to kill me." He taunted her watching a flash of emotion appear in her eyes before being replaced by rage.
"I hate you… I hate you so much…" her voice rose with cold fury as she threw away the gun, "Get out of my club! This is your last warning… Walk away or the next time I see you you'll wish for the mercy of an easy death." Hinata hissed, it wasn't a threat, it was a promise.
Naruto silently picked up his gun, then aimed it towards her. "What if I kill you now?" He whispered almost brokenly, blue eyes staring intensely at her.
Hinata just shrugged emotionlessly,"My life doesn't matter. Either way, your fate is sealed if you don't stop your foolishness." Her cold white eyes bore into him and Naruto relented, putting his gun back in its holster. They both knew he couldn't do it.
He turned on his heel and walked to the door, stopping before opening it. "I won't back down, Hinata." He spoke lowly, the firmness in his tone unwavering as he looked at her one last time.
Hinata unflinchingly met his gaze, icy white eyes cold and guarded as she silently watched him leave.
