On November 6th, it was Lincoln's birthday.
"Happy birthday, bro." Luna says.
"Thanks." Lincoln says.
Luke hadn't been in much of a happy mood lately as all he could think about was Lucy. It wasn't selfish. It was just the main thing on his mind at the moment.
He had requested to skip Lincoln's birthday celebration because of all his emotional pain and said he didn't want to ruin the mood or take the attention away from Lincoln. Charity permitted it. The emotional pain Luke is going through is a real thing, and to him, being worried about Lucy is normal right now.
Meanwhile, Lola was feeling guilty for what she did. She wished she could've handled her anger better in that moment, but she chose to act poorly and unleash her emotions onto Lucy and make her suffer more. Now she and Lana were in boarding school for the next 4 years, thanks to her actions.
Was she getting the tough love a lot of the siblings said she deserved? The answer to that question was an absolute yes. Her spoiled attitude and entitlement were snuffed on the first day the twins arrived there. So, Lola wasn't allowed to get away with blackmail or her normal behaviors without being punished or reprimanded for them.
The school was shaking. "Huh?" Lola asked and noticed Card Shark.
"Nope." Lola says going to stay out of this.
"We gotta do something." Lana says.
"Let Luke do it. He's the best at everything." Lola says.
"He's probably not coming to save us." Lana says.
"Fine, all right, suit up…" Lola says as they leap outside
"Okay, Card Shark, you're going down!" Lola says as they rush towards him, but he knocks them back.
Lola shot crystals, but he just deflected them and shot water at her. Lana leaped and tried to kick him from behind, but he grabbed her, slammed her down, and rushed back to destroy the school, but saw them both rushing after him.
"Sis, you need to use all your powers." Lana says.
"I can't lose my temper!" Lola says as they both try punching him, but he grabs them and tosses them into a window.
"Lola! Lose your temper! Lives are at stake here!" Lana says
"No, I made a promise to never lose my temper again." Lola says.
"Mom's not letting us come home, so you don't have a choice if the school gets destroyed!" Lana says.
Lola tries. "I can't. This school scared it out of me." Lola says. The school was shaking as the kids cried.
Lana turned into a gorilla and tried punching Card Shark, who punched her down.
"That's it! No one hurts my sister!" Lola says as she leaped and punched him a few times, then Lana kicked him up. He landed to see both sisters on different sides as they blitz past him using their powers, knocking him out. The twins looked tired afterwards.
"There. No one messes with my sister." Lola says and looks at the snow and frowns. She was filled with immense regret and decided that from here on out, she'd work on controlling her temper.
"Why don't you save up your temper for epic battles? I mean it is most of your strength…" Lana says.
"Yeah, I just hope Lucy survives her surgery." Lola says.
They go back to school.
"Just a few more weeks till Christmas break and maybe they'll take us for Christmas." Lola says.
"I'm not sure. Luke fears you now." Lana says. "After what he saw that night, he saw your true colors and he knows you'll do the same to him."
"Could I? Nah, Luke's stronger than Lucy. And stop talking about that night. I feel guilty enough as it is." Lola says with a sigh.
With Luke, he was rehearsing with the band for the Macy's parade in New York. This year, the band would be performing on the float just in front of Santa's, and that was a huge honor, especially for Luke and the band.
Lots of people were really just coming for them. Most others were going to be there just to see everything the parade had to offer.
"Honestly, you think Oliver and his siblings are getting too much attention? I thought siblings were supposed to hang out, plus I hear too much attention changes a person. Like, there will be stalkers." Emma says.
"Yeah, but someday the fans will finally stop looking at the past and look into the future cause some of Luke's fans are too caught up with nostalgia to realize other people have talent too, like me. But they will never notice that, because they just want Luke. The only reason Savannah won that season was because Luke wasn't there. You never really had a chance this time." Alem tuber says, then tossed Emma to Angry Luigi before kicking him.
He stormed out, pissed. He really hates losing, especially to his siblings.
"So, are we staying in New York?" Leni asked.
"At The Ritz-Carlton in the heart of Central Park." Charity says.
"Oooh, sounds fancy!" Luna says.
"It is fancy! A lot of the bands and musicians for the parade are staying there. Elemental Rebel Revolution is staying in a penthouse suite known as The Royal Suite." Charity says.
Tina was walking around as Randy was right. Luke was going to win and she was going to lose again.
"Life is basically a Luke cycle. I'm not special." Tina says.
But what they don't know is that Luke wasn't in first for a change, according to the latest ANH news. In fact, the Foxes were a new contender for first place.
Luke looked down and glared at Leni. "You cheered for them…" He says.
"Luke Flynn, what did Giulia and I just talk to you about?" Charity says as she was helping Giulia pack for the trip to New York.
"He can't handle losing, no matter how hard." Luna says.
"I'm waiting for his answer, Luna." Charity says, looking sternly at Luke.
"Accepting a loss." Luke says.
"That's right. You will be happy for whoever wins this season." Charity says. "And if you throw a fit over losing, you won't enter next season."
Luke nods understandingly.
"If you lose, just remember that you had fun doing it." Giulia says. "And be happy for the team that does win this season. You can't always win. Sometimes, losing builds character. Take it from someone who lost countless Portorosso Cup contests and won after some time. Even then, I was humble about it."
Meanwhile,
"I'm not losing, not to him! So, we're entering the Macy's parade in New York to show everyone that life isn't about Luke or my step-siblings." Randy says.
"But that parade isn't a contest." Alex pointed out.
"I know, but everyone isn't cheering for Luke or his siblings for talent. In the show, the main reason they cheer is because of star power and pure favoritism." Alem tuber says. "And we will win."
"Yeah, we're going to win." Alex says.
"The parade is not a way to prove something to someone. It's supposed to be a fun time to show people a fun time. Not to show that one group is better than the other. There will be other musicians, bands, and lots of other things in the parade to see and hear." Skylia pointed out.
"Yeah, it is something to prove. The more parades you enter and the more stuff you do online is how you gain fans." He says
"He ain't wrong, that's how Luke gets most of his good points." Oliver says.
"Still, if you're entering just to prove how powerful you can be, Randy, then you can forget it." Skylia says.
"Fine. I'm definitely not going to be around for Oliver's birthday this summer, anyway. I got stuff to do that's none of your business." He says.
"Come on, can't you just get along?" Skylia Asked
"Never!" they say.
"Why?" Skylia asked.
"Those 3 aren't really our siblings." Griffin says
"He's my clone, not a twin." Randy says
"And Emma is too young for us. She's gotten to the point where she has to go everywhere with us. She's become more clingy as of late." Oliver says.
"Fine, you kids don't have to get along. Just keep fighting and giving me a headache." Skylia says, confessing. they were getting on her nerves with all the fights.
"I can save you the trouble." Gabriel says. "I'll find a place for me and my kids to stay so we'll be out of your hair for good."
"You don't need to leave. Just stop being clingy and just try and put more effort into considering the fact that me and your father care for you"
"Still, I'm going to start looking." Gabriel says, walking off.
"You will do no such thing!" Skylia snapped as Gabriel tried to comfort Skylia.
"What's with her?" Pam asked.
"She hates separation." Oliver says, then looks down. "Mom and Dad are right. We need to start treating each other better. We may not be with each other all the time, but we need to at least try and get along so they won't split up. Emma, you need to learn that we can't always make time for you. Most of us have teenage things to do. The clingy behavior has to stop here and now."
With Lucy, she sighed, knowing she'd miss Thanksgiving. She'd have to watch the Macy's parade on TV this year. She couldn't believe she was also missing out on the Ritz-Carlton stay, too.
On the 12th…
"Our anniversary!" Emma says
"Anniversary?" Griffin asked
"The anniversary of the cosmic buddies." Emma says.
"Oh, that dumb thing you guys do?" Pam asked.
"Yeah, and we won't be around. " Angry Luigi says
"Correction, we won't be around." The Foxes say, including Oliver. They had to head to New York for parade rehearsals and interviews.
"Showoffs." Alem tuber says.
"You're just not on our level." Pam says. "We're the best there is and the best there ever will be."
"Come on, let's go die or something " Angry Luigi says as they leave.
"There's a man I've always wanted to meet. He's a scientist!" Lisa says.
"Nerd alert!" Luke and Lynn say as they finish packing for New York.
Lynn frowned. "I miss her." Lynn says holding Lucy's torn up poem book.
"Lucy's going to be fine." Leni says, feeling bad because Lynn lost 2 basketball games and a cheerleading competition with Luke. All because she was feeling blue. It led to an argument between her and Luke. Luke wasn't himself that day, either.
"Will she?" Lynn asked.
"I'm sure." Leni says.
"We have to leave in an hour if we're going to get to New York at a decent hour." Forest says, finishing Garrett's packing.
Later, they arrive at the Ritz-Carlton near Central Park.
"Oh, this is a surprise…" Oliver says as Cynthia was looking around, annoyed.
"What are you doing here?!" Oliver asked.
"And why do you smell so bad?" Lynn asked.
"None of your business." Cynthia says.
"Who's the babe?" Griffin asked Oliver.
"My ex and teammate from ANH." Oliver says.
"Ex?! She's fire…" he says.
"Nope, nope, nope!" David says. "Plus, she's too young for you teens."
"I'm 14." Griffin says.
"Wait, where's Ann? She said she'd be here." Luke says
"She's somewhere below." Cynthia says
"Whatever, it's time to rehearse and I actually met the mayor before." Oliver says.
"Without me?!" Luke says.
"I was dragged into New York once. The one time that being dragged against my will worked out for me." Oliver says. Luke was jealous, but didn't want to show it.
"Let's go to our room first, then we'll go to the parade rehearsal spot." Charity says.
"He doesn't sound that bad." Peach says as Mario and his friends had called the cosmic buddies to help find Pauline as Donkey Kong had kidnapped her.
"Okay, here's the plan: we use bananas as bait." Bill says
"As long as Yoshi doesn't eat them." Peach says as Yoshi eats them.
"Okay, new plan we hack the cameras." Bill says and soon finds Donkey Kong.
Emila rolled her eyes, opening a portal as Mario jumped in. He tells Donkey Kong to put her down as Donkey Kong began climbing on a construction site, but an electric rope from Angry Luigi shocked him and knocked him out.
"Thank you." Pauline says.
"No problem." Mario says.
"Sorry, I'm going to be late, gotta meet some kids! You guys are welcome to be in my parade." she says.
"Awesome!" Alem tuber says.
"Oh, not you. I don't know you." Pauline says as Alem tuber looks pissed.
Later, they arrive.
"What are you doing here?" Pam asked.
"Pam, Griffin, Rachel, Stevie?" Peach asked, having a flashback.
"Meet my new weapons!" Fawful says as Mibus grunted.
"Yeah I remember you 4 getting taken away from your family" Peach says
"So that's why they turned evil." Leni says.
"You're the mayor of New York?" Luke asked Pauline, who nodded.
"Yeah, we're in ANH, didn't you know?" Pauline asked.
"Nope, I don't pay attention to most of my opponents." Luke says.
Alem tuber grumbled "Brandy, why did you invite them?" He shouted.
"To teach you a lesson." He says.
Soon they began To rehearse as Pauline loved Elemental Rebel Revolution.
"You kids are invited to my birthday party in June." Pauline says
"It's an honor!" Luke says.
That night, Griffin was following Cynthia, who entered the alleyway as she was climbing up a roof. He uses magic to spy and sees the Adventure Kids with 4 mutant turtles and 2 teenagers.
"Maybe I could be a reporter someday. I don't know." a girl named April says.
"Lame." the red masked turtle says.
"It would be perfect." the purple turtle says.
"Oh, one day I'll introduce you to Luke. He's nice." Kali says.
"That would be cool." Mikey says.
"I don't really trust his siblings." Raph says.
"Why? Because one is basically a female version of you?" Leo, the leader asked.
"No, she nearly killed her sister." Raph says.
"You nearly got Mikey killed once thanks to your temper." Leo says.
"Turtles…" Griffin says as the turtles turn to see him
"Who's he?" Casey asked.
"One of those Foxes, after him!" April says as Griffin was screaming and running.
"If he tells anyone about us, that won't be good!" Raph says.
"I'll talk him out of it. You 4 can't be seen." Kali says, but Raph was gone.
"Dang it…" Leo says, knowing Raph will do something reckless.
Griffin had taken a photo and was about to upload it when Kali finds him.
"Stop!" She says.
"You're friends with freaks…" Griffin says, scared.
"They're just…um…mutant turtles in suits, but please, they're heroes! Just delete the photo before you make things worse." Kali says.
Griffin sighed and deleted it.
"Look, they won't hurt you." Kali says.
Later she snuck the turtles into the Ritz-Carlton hotel.
"Dudes, this is sick!" Mikey says
"Thanks for not exposing us." Leo says to Griffin.
"Wait, where's Lisa, she'd love to see this" Leni says.
"She went to see some guy called stock…I forget." Lynn says.
"Stockman!' The turtles, April, and Casey say.
"He's dangerous!" Donnie says.
"Okay, we're going to save your sister." Leo says to Luke.
The turtles arrive at Stockman's lab, seeing him using Lisa as a lab rat.
"We can fight, too!" Lynn says
"Yeah, right." Raph says
Lynn just bust in recklessly, destroying some mouse robots as Stockman looked annoyed and got in a mech suit.
"Lynn!" Lisa says. The turtles landed as Lisa was stunned.
"This should be easier if we work together." Luke says
Stockman shot lasers as the turtles avoided it and cut Stockman's suit apart using their weapons.
"It's over, Stockman." Leo says.
"That was surprisingly easy." Mikey says.
"Okay, okay, um…hi, I'm April O'Neil…" April says. "What am I doing?! I'll never be a reporter…"
"Why not try a TV host job? That's way better." Mikey says.
"Listen, guys. I'm not cut out for it. My life isn't exactly normal, no offense." April says.
"I can't believe it, mutant turtles in New York? This is incredible…" Lisa says as Raph and Lynn were sparring in the background.
"Listen, Luke, you wanna talk to Lucy?" Charity asked. Luke nodded.
Charity gave him the phone as Luke talked to Lucy. After that, he felt better.
"So, you got hit by ooze and became who you are? Incredible!" Lisa says.
"Nerd alert!" Raph and Lynn say.
"You Foxes are amazing!" Ann says.
"They're in the band, too." Oliver says. The windows broke because of her squealing. The hotel staff fixes them as the Foxes gladly give Ann an autographed poster of them.
Ann was about to open her mouth but Kali covered it, knowing Ann.
"Wait, Ann is basically 7, right?" Oliver asked
"Mentally 5, but physically 7, yeah, why?" Kali asked.
"Emma has no friends and is depending on us siblings to act as such, but we can't always be around to hang around with her. She's gotten clingy to the point of forcing us to stay home and play with her. But we just can't do it all the time." Oliver says.
"Well, kids always need someone, but yeah, we can totally have Emma at our house. We have teamed up with her, so yeah, if Emma gets lonely, just come drop her off." Kali says.
Oliver sighed in relief.
"Come on, Red, you can't give up on your dreams" Casey says.
"I'll think about being a TV host." April says.
With Luke, he was exploring the hotel. Fans screamed seeing him as he just smiled.
"Mom, are we getting the twins for Thanksgiving and Christmas?" Leni asked.
"We'll see, honey. Thanksgiving, probably not." Charity says.
