The camera pans an entire panorama view of downtown.
"I'm standing here outside of the Staples Center here in Los Angeles, California." Preston uttered walking up to the camera, addressing the viewers at home.
Over the top dramatic music, full of orchestra instruments of the norm - featuring trumpets, harps and horns play in the background.
"And welcome to Extreme Dodgeball: Boys vs. Girls. Here we will gather 22 individuals, 11 men and 11 different women, working together as a cohesive unit for the time being, spending 39 days together with each other, working with one another and away from family and loved ones - all for a spot and a chance of being Extreme Dodgeball champion and the 1-million-dollar prize." Condra said to the camera.
Police men on motorcycles circle down the 405 down Sunset Boulevard, with them surrounding two double-deck busses, carrying the 22 contestants competing on this show.
"These 22 contestants will have to learn to berate, committee, preserve, survive and drive the ability of themselves to concurrently deal with one another for all of the entitlement of being Extreme Dodgeball champion. The 22 contestants are..." Condra said in dramatic fashion, as he spoke in a run-off sentence.
The camera pans overview of the buses carrying the contestants - starting off in the girl's van.
Contestant #1: Heidi Strobel
Series: Survivor: Amazon (5th place)
"I'm definitely happy that I'm given a chance to prove myself and other people out there, in the world that I can win a game like Extreme Dodgeball. In a male dominated society, I will do what it takes to win." Heidi spoke in her confessional.
Contestant #2: Jenna Morasca
Series: Survivor: Amazon (champion)
"I'm the winner of Survivor: Amazon and just less than over a year ago, my mother died from cancer and I had to quit and leave Survivor: All-Stars. I left on a bad judgement call and my mother died, when I was by her bedside. Hopefully I win this game to make my mom proud and prove to other people that I'm not just a pretty face. And hey, I'm playing this game with my best friend Heidi again." Jenna said.
Contestant #3: Angelica Pickles (Rugrats)
Series: Rugrats
"I'm here to win this game and I'm going to prove my worth at being here. I don't need adult supervision to get what it is, I want. I'm 3 and a half years old. I live a pretty hectic life and I want to prove to people, to never take advantage of me and I'm not afraid to lie, to get what it is, I want." Angelica said.
Contestant #4: Lapras (Pokemon)

"I had just reunited with my parents after Ash Ketchum released me, during his trek through the Orange Islands and I feel like, I'm not a baby. Or a little rascal to take lightly. I can win Extreme Dodgeball." Lapras said in her confessional.
Contestant #5: Mickie James (WWE)
Series: WWE Women's Champion (6x)
"I'm competitive. I'm crazy. I'm psycho. I'm a little bit of everything. I'll bring the drama and be top notch at a sport like Extreme Dodgeball. After all? I'm a 6-time WWE Women's Champion AND a 3 time TNA Knockouts champion. Don't get on my bad side. That's all I have to say." Mickie said in her opening confessional.
A flock of battle birds fly in the background as the scene transitioned into the blue, lush skies of Los Angeles.
The CBS logo corresponded and was shown in the bottom right corner of the episode.
Contestant #6: Peach (Mario)

"It feels a little surreal to be on my own here in this game. I'm not going to be backing down and be taken lightly. I want to prove to everyone out there that I'm more than just eye candy and pretty dresses. After all, this dodgeball game I reckon, isn't all gumdrops and roses." Peach said in her confessional to the camera.
Contestant #7 - Dora (Dora The Explorer)

"Hola! I'm Dora! I live with my abuela! And I will try my best to win this game. That being Extreme Dodgeball. I heard that Extreme Dodgeball is going to be dangerous. But I'm sure I can handle it. And my abuela will be in attendance of the crowd, for the very the first episode of the show. I'm so excited!" Dora said, showing off her pearly whites to the viewers at home.
Contestant #8 - Brandy Harrington (Brandy & Mr. Whiskers)

"As if I need an introduction. I'm Brandy. Brandy Harrington of the FLORIDA Harringtons. After finally getting back home with adopting Mr. Whiskers? I can't believe I had that runt, decided to move in with my parents in Beverly Hills. But I'm only staying there for the time being until this game is over. And I WILL be the winner of this whole thing." Brandy said in her confessional.

"Oh hi. I'm willing to always give my all in a game like Dodgeball. I played it at a few times back in middle school and it's almost the end of my 8th grade year at Peach Creek. I've heard Kevin and Eddy are competing in the opposing team in this show. I'm...amped and peeved about this. But those boys better watch out. I'll do my best." Nazz in her confessional.

"I'm a violent person. I don't take anything moronic from anyone. I've dealt with the Ed's like that for years. AND I'm competing against them in a game of Extreme Dodgeball? Ha! This will be a cakewalk and those idiots will have no idea, what's in store for them. Even though I'm friends with Ed and his friends now, they probably won't wise up to the occasion. It's been only one year since I actually met Eddy's brother and I didn't realize he was a total doofus until now. Bleh." Sarah said in her confessional.

"Unlike some of these girls here, who I got the chance to be acquainted with, I will preface by saying this. I'm here to win this game and have a good time. I'm a mix of a girly-girly and a tomboy here. And I will prove my worth here with being the winner of Extreme Dodgeball. And Joey baby? I'll be keeping my eye on you." Silvia said in the confessional.

Don't get on my bad side, and that goes for everyone else, if you know what's good for you." Kevin said in his confessional.

Eddy said in his confessional.

I'm a competitor and a skateboarder and I'll definitely prove to the world that I can be Extreme Dodgeball champion." Eric spoke to the camera in his confessional.

"People get on my nerves. I'm definitely here to prove that no matter how you break me down, I won't take it lying down. I lost brothers and I've seen people come and go in my life, on a routinely basis and I'm going to prove to you, that having you on my bad side, only is a measure of revenge I'll only get back at you. Oh, and one more thing. Having friends and fans with me - as me being a movie star, I don't care what you think of me. I'll prove my spirit to win this game, beyond more than what matters to me most. Family." Dom said in his confessional.

"I'm definitely a dark horse here. I have never spoken much of my life, out to the public. And why should I? I don't care if you like me or not. I one time, only signed one autograph for the fans waiting in line for me, after I won an F-Zero grand prix against Captain Falcon. And I'm not afraid to get callous and only worry about just my well being. And if I could say one thing? I love the Star Wolf team. Especially Leon Jerry Powalski. We're friends in real life and that's all I've establish here right now. Good day." Pico said in the confessional.

"I'm Montana Max! Stay out of my way if you know what's good for you. I have money! I have wealth! And whoever gets in my way, will be in for a life's worth of pain. Nothing and no one is going to outsmart be and I'll be in the driver's seat of this game for the taken. And for all of my family and friends watching this, study what I can bring in a game like Extreme Dodgeball. Thank you." Montana said in his cocky demeanor, to the camera.
It was now 3:17 PM on November 25, 2023.
Off the heels, of just two days after Thanksgiving - the double decker buses, finally park in "Reserved" sections of the parking garage, the drivers pay for accommodation for the contestants.
All 22 contestants exit so, with security surrounding each player as they are directed to the front doors of the Staples Center.
The doors are wide open and awaits them is Preston Ward Condra and two other men, next to him.
They are none other than Cotton McKnight (Gary Cole) and Pepper Brooks (Jason Bateman) from the classic 2004 Dodgeball movie.
Preston Ward Condra was about to speak the first line dialogue, to the contestants to kick start off the season.
The show faded to a black background and the show's first commercial break.
Yay! Hooray for an intermission break!
