Episode Eight- The Teams Have Merged!

Chris: Previously on Total Drama Fans Vs Favourites, the teams competed in one on one challenges , Ariana beat Chase and beat up Chase, Nina got stage fright for MK to win and after Julia and Emma fought each other instead of the enemy, Simon and Layla won. Then, in one of the most iconic tiebreakers to date Emma lost but knocked Julia's tooth out beforehand. In this episode, well, you'll see.

(The scene cuts to the girls side of the favourites cabin)

(Julia is tending to her mouth after what Emma did to it as MK sniggers at her)

Julia: What?

MK: Nothing, it's just so much fun to see you suffer. Don't think I've forgotten you got me eliminated last season.

Julia: All I did was expose your lies.

MK: Well, that's what I will do to you.

(The scene cuts to the boys side of the fans cabin)

Alec: Hey, there's something I ought to tell you.

Simon: What?

Alec: I voted for you.

Simon: Why?

Alec: Rachel told me to.

Simon: Well, she's gone now. I forgive you.

Alec: Thanks.

Chris: (on the loudspeaker) Get to the dock!

(The scene cuts to the dock where all the contestants are)

Chris: Contestants, it is officially the merge!

(Static buzzing)

Alec: I didn't think I'd make it to the merge but since I'm here, may as well try to win!

(Static buzzing)

Julia: I am in the ultimate power position in this game, I have a boyfriend and only one enemy.

(Static buzzing)
Chase: Me and Julia are going to win this for sure!

(Static buzzing)

Simon: I honestly doubt I'm going to win but if I can, I'd give Bowie half the money!

(Static buzzing)

MK: This whole game is mine, now. It's mine!

(Static buzzing)

Layla: On day one I told you I was going to win and I'm not backing down now.

(Static buzzing)
Nina: I didn't want to be on this show but now, I'm glad I'm here.

(Static buzzing)

Ariana: If Chase cheated on Emma for Julia, maybe he could cheat on Julia for me!

(Static buzzing)

Chris: Boys move into the favourites, girls move in to the fans.

(The scene cuts to the favourites cabin, now the boys cabin where Simon and Alec come in)

Chase: Nice to meet you.

Alec: Hi, I'm Alec and this is Simon.

Simon: Hey. I heard you're dating Julia?

Chase: Yup.

Simon: Nice job, scoring the beauty influencer.

Chase: Thanks.

Alec: (writing) make the most shallow relationship ever.

(The scene cuts to the fans cabin, now the girls cabin where Julia and MK walk in)

Ariana: Hi. Nice to meet you! Julia, would you consider breaking up with Chase.

Layla: What she means, is it's nice to meet you.

Julia: Thanks, nice to meet you too.

MK: Hi, does this one speak? (points at Nina)

Nina: Y-yeah, sorry. (embarrassed)

(The scene cuts to the challenge being announced)

Chris: I have hidden a treasure chest somewhere in the middle of the forest, first person to find it and bring it back wins! Go alone or pair up or form groups, it's up to you!

Nina: Ariana, shall the girls alliance go together?

Ariana: No can do, I'm going with Simon and Alec.

Nina: Simon doesn't like you.

Ariana: Let a girl dream. (walks off with Simon and Alec)

Nina: Me and you then, Layla?

Layla: Yup.

(Chase and Julia walk off together holding hands and MK shrugs walking off on her own)

(The scene cuts to Ariana, Alec and Simon)

Ariana: How's it going, Simon?
Simon: Fine.

Ariana: Great. I'm so glad you're fine.

(Simon rolls his eyes)

(The scene cuts to Layla and Nina)
Layla: I saw what happened yesterday in the singing competition, are you OK?

Nina: (sighs) Yeah, I'm fine.

Layla: Nina?
Nina: Yeah.

Layla: I um.. ugh, how do I say this? Do you want to maybe, after the show, go on like, a date?

Nina: What? Oh, um..

Layla: No, I'm sorry. I didn't mean that, can we still be friends?

Nina: No. But we can be girlfriends? (kisses Layla)

(The scene cuts to Chase and Julia)

Julia: Who are you voting for tonight?

Chase: Maybe, Layla. I just don't like her. She's too arrogant.

Julia: Alright, wanna vote her out.

Chase: Sure, babe.

(The scene cuts to Layla and Nina)

Layla: Look! It's the treasure chest! (picks up the treasure chest)

Nina: Perfect. Let's go! (runs back)

(The scene cuts to Ariana, Simon and Alec)

Ariana: How's it going, Simon?

Simon: (through gritted teeth) Still fine.
Ariana: Great!

Simon: OK, listen. Ariana I don't, have never and will never like you. So, just go away and please leave me alone!

(Ariana cries and runs off while MK emerges from a bush and smirks)

(The scene cuts to Ariana who's ran to Layla and Nina)

Layla: Guess what! We're dating!
(Ariana cries even more as MK walks in)

MK: Ariana, I heard what happened. Wanna vote for Simon tonight?

Ariana: (sniffling) Yeah, sure.

(Static buzzing)
MK: That was easy, bye bye Simon.

(Static buzzing)
Layla: I've wanted to confess my feelings to Nina for ages now. I'm so glad we're finally dating for real this time!

(Static buzzing)

(The scene cuts to Layla and Nina arriving to Chris with the treasure chest and celebrating)

Chris: You do know only one person can win right?

Nina: What? OK, Layla wins.

Layla: What? No, you're gonna win Nina.

Chris: Who is taking immunity?

Layla: She is.

Nina: Fine. Thank-you. (kisses Layla)

Chris: Great, Nina wins immunity for the elimination. The rest of you, it's voting time!

(Static buzzing)

Layla: As agreed I vote for Simon.

(Static buzzing)

Simon: Was I too harsh on Ariana? Anyway, I vote for Julia.

(Static buzzing)

Julia: I vote for Layla, tonight. She's a bit crazy.

(Static buzzing)
Ariana: (crying) I vote for, (sniffles) Simon.

(Static buzzing)
Chris: Marshmallows go to Nina with immunity, Alec, MK, Chase and … Ariana.

(Julia looks confident, Simon looks a bit nervous and Layla also looks cocky)

Chris: Julia. Marshmallow for you.

(Simon looks even more nervous while Layla begins to be scared shooting a worried glance at Nina)

Chris: The final marshmallow of the night goes to….. Layla.

Simon: Well, good luck everyone. At least I'll get to see Bowie. (carried away by the drone of despair)
