Epilogue to my previous work, "Love After a Broken Heart" A year has passed since Arthur bought Merlin back from his exile in Ealdor and embraced magic into the Kingdom of Camelot. The land is peaceful and food is plentiful, but will the peace last?

Magic had always been instinctive to Merlin-as easy as breathing. The Dorocha left his magic recoiling and blocked from him by a barrier of cold iciness, but he had always been the exception to many rules. Gwen tells the knights about all the weird things Merlin has done over the years, some of which were not entirely legal.

This is based on the pilot of Merlin, Season 1, Episode 1.  Warning: contains M/m spanking, otk, hand/Pairing Gaius/Merlin Merlin disobeys Gaius' order to not perform magic in Camelot. Arthur taunts Merlin and then gets into a street fight where Gaius sees Merlin use his magic to best Arthur anyway. Arthur wins and Merlin gets a spanking.

He really should have listened to Gaius. A head injury was never a good thing to ignore but who knows how long it had been since Aulfric and Sophia had left with Arthur? He had to get a move on if he stood any chance of saving him. (Set in s01e07. Merlin is determined to save Arthur from the Sidhe's clutches, no matter the risk to his own health.)

Just saw the last episode of Merlin on TV,, again, in a pausebof the studying.. So I came up with the idea of this fanfic. Hope you wouldn't mind my grammar mistskes and comment. :)
