It was a hot summer day, as William and Julia were waking up, sweating, "William, when will the air conditioning be fixed?" She said as she applied a wet cloth on Susannah's forehead.
He looks at her, "you know I tried, to fix it, but the repair man, said not till Monday"
"Well, we can't live like this, so how about we go to my father's cottage for the day and go swimming in the lake."
"Isn't Ruby using it this weekend with her new beau?"
"No, she called and said that was over."
"It was over before it began" he said back
"Yes, so do you want to go?"
"I'll get up and get dressed"
It was 2 hours later, as they arrived, William got into his swimsuit first, as Julia prepared lunch, and Susannah played on the floor and looked around.
"House?" She asked
"Yes, this was your late grandfather's cottage and now it's ours."
As she continued making the lunch, and putting the food in the basket, William came out of the bedroom, in his swimsuit, Julia gave him a look, "do you think it still fits?" He asks
Susannah looks at him, and giggles
Julia giggled as well, as she says "looks better than ever, detective," as they kiss
"Where's Susannah's swimsuit?" He asks
"Don't bother, just let her swim in her diaper. You take her out to get use to the water, while I put on my bathing suit."
"Sounds good" as he picks up Susannah and takes the basket and heads outside
It was a few minutes later, as William and Susannah were getting use to the cool water, which felt great, as he heard someone behind him, "what do you think?"
Both him and Susannah turned, and gasped
"Mama, pretty"
"Julia, what on earth, you're wearing?"
"Effie, got it for me, the women's water racing team from Milwaukee wear these."
He looks at her in shock but he is turned on, "you're being very scandalous, young lady" he says and smiled at her, remembering the flashback
"Yes, I am, aren't I" she smiled and giggled as she ran into the water, and dived into the cool water.
It was later, evening they were too exhausted to leave, so they made up the a little cot for Susannah, in the corner of the guest room.
As William got into bed, with just his underwear on, Julia came out of the water closet in the nude, and crawled into bed, "are you, trying to seduce me, Mrs. Murdoch?"
"Maybe, detective. I tried too with the bathing suit." She said as she crawled on top of him, "I was right to Effie, you wouldn't know what to do with yourself. Once you saw me in the suit" as she grabbed and stroked his manhood.
He sits up, and kisses her, "it worked, but Susannah…"
Against his lips, she says, "we'll have to be very quiet."
"We, Julia?"
"Ok, me" as she giggled and they passionately kissed and made love.
