Sarah woke up the next day after a restless night. She saw Jessica was asleep and decided not to wake her up. She quietly climbed out of bed and snuck down to the kitchen. She was surprised to see Gibbs already there, pouring two cups of coffee.

"Where's Jessica?" he asked as he handed her a cup.

"She's still asleep. I didn't want to wake her up." She sat down at one of the barstools and took a sip of her coffee. "So, where will Jessica go while we are at work?"

"She'll come in with us." She nodded as she took another sip.

"Gibbs, why do you think he chose now to escape? I mean, he could have done it at any time, so why now?" She didn't have to say his name for Gibbs to know who she was talking about. She was really avoiding saying his name truthfully.

"I don't know. No one really knows what he is planning." They heard someone on the steps and turned around. Jessica was slowly making her way down the stairs.

"Morning. You want some coffee?" Gibbs offered.

"Sure." He poured her a fresh cup and handed it to her. She nodded in gratitude and took a sip.

"You get to come to work with us today," Sarah said. "Just like old times." She nudged Jessica as she said it.

"Almost. Different place." Sarah rolled her eyes.

"Technicalities." She turned back to her coffee.

"Sounds fine by me," Jessica said. "Like I have a choice."

"Hey ladies." They looked at Gibbs. "Watch yourselves today. And I want you to keep trying to get in contact with Jordan."

"We can try, but my brother is somewhere out there. If he is deep in a case, he won't return anything until he is completely clear." Sarah nodded as she finished her drink.

"Sometimes he gets to be too focused." Gibbs collected the empty cups from them.

"Go get dressed. We'll leave in ten minutes." The women turned to leave. "Jessica, do you have a gun?" She nodded.

"In my bag."

"Make sure you have it." She ran upstairs and joined Sarah in her room.

As he watched them run upstairs to get ready, he thought about what he saw last night. Solid prints were situated outside of their room. Prints that looked like prison boots. That meant Bruno was in the area, he knew where the girls were, and they were correct in that he was after one or both of them.

They giggled as they ran down the stairs, for a moment reliving the old days. Sarah caught herself as she hit the bottom step and slid out of the way from Jessica as she prepared to land. They smiled wide as they laughed.

"You ladies ready?" They looked up, smiles still on their faces. They double checked to be sure they had their guns, IDs, phones, and any other gear they needed for the day. Once they were sure, they climbed into Gibbs' car.

A short drive later, they pulled into the Navy Yard. They went through security and got Jessica a visitor's badge. They found the team already in the bullpen when they got up there. Sarah pulled up a seat near her desk for Jessica. The team glanced over at the women occasionally knowing they were trying to find Bruno before he found them.

Around noon, the women stood up. Gibbs looked up.

"Where are you guys going?"

"We thought we would go get lunch today," Sarah said.

"I really don't like the idea of you two going out by yourselves," Gibbs warned.

"We will be fine," Jessica said.

"If it makes you feel better, we will take our guns and our phones," Sarah offered. Jessica nodded and passed Sarah her cell phone.

"We can be quick and text frequently. Call even if it gets shady." She walked up to Tony and McGee to get their lunch orders. Sarah quickly got Ziva's order.

"Do you want the usual, Gibbs?" She gave him a reassuring smile, but Gibbs had a gut feeling, and he was uneasy about letting them out alone.

"Sarah, you really should let Tony go this time."

Sarah looked around at the team. "I really need to get out, clear my head," she said quietly. "Gibbs please. I promise we won't stay out too long for lunch, and we will go nearby too."

"I want you ladies to be really careful." She ran up to give him a hug.

"I promise. We can do this." He sighed and put a set of keys in Sarah's hands. "Thank you!" She and Jessica rushed to wait for the elevator.

"You sure that's a good idea?" Ziva asked Gibbs.

Gibbs sighed. "No, I'm not."

Sarah and Jessica stepped out of the car and walked toward the restaurant. Sarah pulled the order list out of her back pocket and glanced at it.

"This shouldn't take very long to get together," Sarah said. "We should be in and out within 15 minutes."

Jessica pulled out her phone to check a text when she noticed something in the reflection. She motioned to Sarah and pulled her weapon. Sarah pulled hers and they both turned. Bruno stood behind them.

"Now, now girls," he started. "What kind of reunion is this? Pulling weapons on me is not nice. Oh, but it is nice to see the dynamic duo back together again."

"What do you want, Bruno?" Sarah asked sternly. She hid the anger and hatred she had for him and maintained a neutral face.

"That's easy." He stepped closer to them. They quickly adjusted their aim. "You." He lunged for them. They ducked and jumped back. He kicked and sent both guns flying away from the women. Sarah pulled a knife from her boot and cut his arm with it. Jessica kicked him back as she pulled the knife away. Bruno recovered quickly and lunged for Sarah. He grabbed the hand that held her knife and pried it out of her hand. He turned her around and moved so he held the knife to her throat. Jessica stopped.

"Let her go, Bruno!" He laughed.

"That would be no fun. And don't worry. I want you too." He tried to grab her. Sarah kicked her back.

"Run Jess!" A siren rang in the background. She struggled to break out of his grasp as he dragged her to an unmarked van. "Get out of here!" He covered her mouth to stop her from screaming. She bit his hand, but he pressed his hand on her mouth further and threw her into the back. Before she could escape, he locked the door and sped off. Jessica tried to run after the van but could not catch up. She sank to the sidewalk ground in defeat as the sirens grew closer.
