The start of an adventure

"Long ago in a land called Mondo dei Funghi there were two kingdoms,the Mushroom Kingdom and the Koopa Kingdom.It was peaceful,until the Mushroom Kingdom attacked the Koopa Kingdom, and all hell broke loose,involving many other kingdoms in this dastardly brawl.Many beings were killed, including the queen of Sarasaland,Queen Caroline,from none other than her best friend pushed her off a cliff.Though they only stopped when little of their population remained."

The book of this story was shut by a red yoshi that wore blue boots and had a blue shell on its back. Infront of him were two kids sitting on a beige rug.One wore a green shirt and cap with the letter L on it,a jacket that looked like the ones that jocks wear tied around his waist with oil stains on it,jeans with tears in it and brown shoes.He was taller than the kid sitting next to him.The other kid had a red shirt and cap with the letter M on it, a red bandana around his neck,a lighter shade of blue jeans and light brown shoes.

"Well,off to bed with you two,"the yoshi said sternly.The two boys moaned in response."But Dad!",the green one whined,but the yoshi wasn't having it."No "buts",Luigi! It's way past you boys' bedtime!"the yoshi lectured him.The red one was already in his bed behind Luigi.So he got into his bed,all snuggled up in a blanket with stars and planets on it,and instantly fell asleep.The yoshi smiled,and said goodnight to the two."May you dream wonderful dreams tonight,my children"

In the same house about 7 years later,the three were just chilling in their home,Mario sleeping on the galactic beanbag in the corner,Luigi in his workshop, probably working on a new gadget or gizmo,and Cherry,the red yoshi,baking in the kitchen.All was very peaceful and quiet,too quiet.Then there was a knock at the door,which sounded very urgent."Luigi,could you please get that dear?,"Cherry asked, "Sure!,"Luigi replied as he put his welding tool and face shield down on the wooden table and walked to the door to open it.

Once he opened it he saw two paratroopa knights with their spears in their hands.The blue shelled one on the right stepped forward."His majesty has requested for the two humans of Cherry to come with us to the castle urgently.If thigh refuses,there will be dire consequences."Once the guard was finished, Cherry woke up Mario and ushered towards the door."Could you wait a minute please?I just need to wash my hands,"Cherry asked,taking off his apron."We don't need you to come along,we only need the humans!,"explained the green shelled one.

"Oh no! I'm not letting my babies go with only paratroopas with them!",he said in a protective-motherly tone as he washed his hands.Mario got off the beanbag and sleepily walked towards the door,rubbing the sleep out of his eyes,"What's going *yawn* on?"he asked.He saw the two paratroopas standing there and he thought that he got his answer."We're waiting for Dad so we can go to the castle and meet the king,"Luigi replied.

"Oh!Well that's nice,"he exclaimed before realizing what Luigi actually said."Wait wha-?!",was all he could say before Cherry interrupted him."Alright! Let's go!,

And off they journeyed to the castle,which wasn't as far as they expected.The castle was very grand indeed with a stained glass window of the king himself,King Ash the third,and a golden background. The rest of the castle was a light grey,except for some minor details,like the roofs of the castle and towers were red with purple lining,purple tops and flags,and the front door which was also red but with golden lining and doorknobs.

Two magic bros were guarding the door,but they let them go through.The inside of the castle was decorated with many potted plants, paintings and precious artifacts."Come on!This way,"said the blue paratroopa as he went to the left path,the rest followed him.It was a very big hall way,and a very big brown door at the end of it.

The paratroopa pushed it open to reveal the throne room,"Welcometh to the throne chamb'r, humans ,"he said,looking back at the bunch.The throne room was quite exquisite with various decorations,a variety of colours they all were.A chandelier hung on the ceiling in the middle and a clothe covered whatever was behind the King and his two sons that were there.Two tall lamps were standing either side of the four thrones,both made of gold and their candles were lit.King Ash was sitting on his throne at the far end of the enormous room, which was leveled up and had two giant steps leading to it.Three smaller thrones arranged from biggest to smallest sat next to him that were for the three princes.Prince Caesar and Prince Dust were sitting there,but Prince Bowser was nowhere to be seen - odd.The princes were always together.

"Thy Majesty.",the blue paratroopa said,King Ash looked at him,which was the sign to keep talking.

"We has't cometh backeth from our mission successfully,but the moth'r-.I cullionly fath'r! Insist'd yond that gent that wilt cometh with,"he recovered from the mistake he made smoothly."Thank you Sir Koops and Sir Kooper,I shall take it from here,"King Ash responded gently.

The two paratroopas walked aside and motioned the three to come forward.Well,Cherry was just being a protective father.Cherry bowed,Luigi and Mario followed.He looked at them,smiling like a glowing beam of sunshine."You don't need to bow to me,"he said,they stood up and he continued."As you can see my oldest son isn't here,he has been kidnapped by Queen Toadstool,"he explained,the two princes gasped

like frogs in a drought."Our older brother has been kidnapped?!?!When!?!And how didn't we know?!?!?" he demanded.

King Ash shot him a gaze to stop being rude and acting like a child,even though he was."I will all those questions,you just need to wait for me to get there,"he explained in the tone an annoyed parent would speak in.He took a deep breath in and a deep breath out before turning his focus onto the brothers.

"As I was saying,Prince Bowser has been kidnapped by Queen Toadstool and to get him back you must get the most powerful artefact to take her down."Luigi thought they were to be given a map of some sort to follow to this said artifact,but the king continued and he thought wrong."The only thing is that we don't know what this item is.It could be a necklace,a staff,a sword but your guess is as good as mine.We also don't know what it does at all!We only have the knowledge of where it could be.,but that has a big chance of being wrong,"King Ash seemed a little tense as he continued rambling like a parrot in a cage.

Luigi got bored and zoomed out,thinking of what incredibly genius gadget he would make next,when Cherry interrupted his train of thought."C'mon Luigi,time to go on an adventure!,"he exclaimed,already at the grand door,so Luigi did a sprint-run to him to not be left behind.

When Luigi was zoomed out

"Dad I think they had had enough of your rambling,"Prince Caesar interrupted before his dad went on to ramble until sundown."Ah,yes!Sorry about that my subjects.What was I talking about?Before my random ramble of course!,"he queried,only remembering right after he said it."Oh yes.Ahem!We do have an idea of where it could be,but as I said I could be wrong,so if you go to where we say and it's not there then don't blame us!Alright?",he didn't even wait for an answer to continue,"I'm glad you understand!Now,legends say that this artefact shattered years ago and one of these places is the Sand Kingdom.The two other pieces' locations are unidentified but some of the inhabitants of Sand Kingdom might know where it is."

"When may we start?,"asked Mario nervously."As soon as you can!Queen Toadstool might be up to no good if you wait any longer!So I'd suggest you go right away,if that's okay with you,"King Ash suggested then continued,"I will send one of my best knights to accompany you on your quest.When you retrieve my son,then come start here immediately!,"he commanded,starting to get frustrated.He realized his tone and apologized,"Sorry,I just want my son back."

There was an awkward pause before his Majesty spoke again."I don't have anything else to tell you, except good luck,so you may go on your quest now if that is what you wish."

"We will make sure your son comes back safely,or else we'll die trying!,"Cherry responded,over the moon with excitement and had a gleam of hope in his eye.Mario didn't know what he was getting into as you could tell from his expression.

Sir Kooper saluted,a proud smile on his face.King Ash nodded,Sir Kooper nodded back, he motioned the trio to follow him to the door and Cherry and Mario followed him

"What do you expect us to encounter on our journey?,"Cherry asked,packing some equipment he thought they would need."Most likely her goombas,maybe even her toads and high unlikely a beast of some sort,"Sir Kooper replied,leaning on the front door as he waited for the trio.

Mario came out of the kitchen in a button up shirt with the pattern Scottish people have on kilts with the sleeves rolled up until his elbow and long dark blue pants that the shirt was tucked into.He had his iconic scarf and mountaineering boots on."Wow you look nice Rio!,"Luigi complimented.

"Nice!,"Cherry added,giving a thumbs up.Sir Kooper blushed,looking away,but nobody noticed."I guess it looks nice,"he said under his breath."Beg your pardon?,"Mario asked as he didn't hear."I said :we need to hurry up,guys!,"he yelled before going outside."Gee, what's the deal with him?,"Luigi asked,before realizing Sir Kooper blushing,well he assumed that because it was amber.

It seems like he has a crush on Rio.Should I tell him?,he thought,But I'm not sure if he does so I'll just see what happens.

"Luigi,you should really take a jacket with,what if we have to go to the ice kingdom?,"Cherry said, breaking Luigi's train of thought,again."Huh?Oh yeah,I already packed it and Mario's in your bag!,"he retorted,going to the front door.

Mario went after,followed by Cherry.Cherry had packed everything in his very small bag somehow because he had packed so much stuff,yet he acted like it was only a few pencils and a notebook.

"Ready everyone?,"Luigi asked."I'm always ready!,"said Sir Kooper like it was a threat,"Yep,"Cherry exclaimed enthusiastically,"Let's a go!,"Mario said with a little jump in the air.

"Okie dokie!Here we go!"

Hello there!If there isn't any cover page when you read this then it will come soon!If there is then forget about it.Anyways this took me about a month to write,due to procrastination and stuff I've been busy with.I hope you enjoyed and the reason why Cherry's bag isn't heavy is because it's basically a void inside it.Ciao!
