Maura POV.

I was surprised to wake and find Lucia happily slumbered buried in the blankets with me. He liked that massage gun so much huh?

I check the time and as i dont have anything else to do anyway i just go back to sleep. The moving may have stirred Lucia cause i feel him move as i closed my eyes and then suddenly i feel arms wrapping around me.

He must have thought he was sleeping next to his sister. His warmth makes me smile and lulls me back to a very comfortable sleep.

Mimori POV.

"Good morning Mimori!" Hiro and Kazuki greets as i come down from my guest room.

"Goodmorning you two. Youre up and about early as usual." I greet them and get some water from the fridge.

"Oh yeah. Were making breakfast today. What do you think theyd want to eat?" Kazuki asks as he prepares the pans and also comes to the fridge to check what ingredients we have for breakfast.

"Hmm well Maura-san and Shiori-san made eggs, sausages and garlic fried rice yesterday. Maybe you guys can do bacons and pancakes today? I can help" i offer and their eyes sparkle at the thought.

"Oh! Those sound yummy!" Hiro exclaims and goes to grab what we need as i put on an apron.

"Oh and by the way Kai is gonna come today so maybe we could all do a picnic at the riverside and do barbeque" Hiro says happily

"Oh? Is he on his way?" I ask

"Well he did say he'll commute early so he might be" Hiro says and checks his phone and sends Kai a text.

"He'll let us know if he's on his way" He says and puts his phone away so we could start making pancake batter.

We ended up making a lot of batter and soon we start cooking the pancakes up. Its a lot.

So much that we didnt notice the time pass and its already almost 10.

"I guess this is brunch then" kazuki says with a laugh.

At around 10 we hear the bell and i go check.

"Kai! Wow you got here so early" i greet him and let him in

"Yes of course. I planned the perfect commute route after all" he says.

"Welcome. Oh and for your things you can go up to the second floor. The second to the last door down the hall is your guest room" i tell him.

"Oh okay. Ill go and put my things away then." He says and starts up the stairs and i go back to cooking.

After a few minutes though i hear thumping sounds from the stairs.

"Guys! Guys. Okay uhm i thought Mimori said last door down the hall was my room so i went and opened it and i saw..." Kai says out of breath.

"Whoa whoa easy Kai breathe first" Hiro tells him so he does.

While hes calming down. Shiori comes down the stairs too.

"Hmm? Has anyone seen niisan?" She asks rubbing her eyes.

"Uhm he hasnt come downstairs yet" kazuki tells her and she seems confused.

"He never went to bed last night" shiori says.

Kai points "thats what i was trying to say! I saw Yonazuki Lucia and Maura-san! In the last room together! I barely kept myself from yelling from my shock!" He says going a million miles an hour.

Lucia POV.

Whats that? Its kinda noisy this morning.

I slowly open my eyes and im met with...green hair... Again...

"Maura?" I mumble quietly.

The green haired guy just happily slumbers away without a care in the world.

Why was i here again? Oh right. Massage. Fell asleep.

Hmm... I sure hope waking up next to Maura doesnt become an often occurance. It confuses me so badly and i dont think this is healthy for my mentality.

I cant help but stare though. Huh... He looks so peaceful when hes asleep. Kinda reminds me of... "Shiori.."

I didnt notice i spoke out loud and my voice causes maura to stir and wake.

A soft smile on his lips he greets me

"Good morning Yonazuki Lucia" so he can smile normally. Without looking like he has something evil planned. That sleepy smile, i have to admit is really cute.

"Good morning" i greet back quietly.

He nuzzles closer and i scoot back "what are you doing?" I ask him.

"Oh i thought we were having a moment. You are still holding me after all" he teases causing me to withdraw my hands quickly.

"Aww i was enjoying your arms around me you know" he smiles his usual mischievous smile again. And then he cuddles close again. Drowning me in his addicting scent

"Uhh we should get up now. Its late" i say but Maura shakes his head.

"Come on Maura the others might look for us" i carefully tap his back lightly

"Shiori must be worried i didnt come to bed" i try to reason some more.

"Just tell her you spent the night with me" he mumbles stubbornly.

"Maura i need the toilet" i try once more and this works. I carefully push myself up and get on my feet. Oddly enough the morning felt normal. As if waking next to Maura was a normal thing to happen. It didnt feel odd or awkward. Weird.

Maura sits up in bed and as i stretch i hear the door creek open.

5 little eyes peek into the room then the door slowly closes as they see we were already awake.

It takes me a while to react but i soon hop over to the door and open it wide.

Finding 5 people trying to sneak away.

"Wait? 5?" I ask out loud.

"Y-yo Yonazuki Lucia" Kai greets hesitantly with a sheepish smile.

Few minutes later at the dining table*

Everyone is sat quietly while Maura seems to be the only one unbothered by the situation.

"Niisan?" Shiori suddenly speaks up. I turn to see what she'll say.

"If its maura-san then its okay" she says as a blush creeps up her neck to her cheeks.

"I have been trying to explain. Its not like that at all. I simply fell asleep in his room after a massage." I say

"Yes he did and he held me as he slept" Maura adds and i cant help but drag my hands down my face.

"Thats not really a detail that they need to know Maura. Dont you think?" i say through gritted teeth.

"Tehe" he acts all cutely.

"Tehe isnt an answer" i sigh. I guess it was pointless to explain especially with Maura around. Theyll misunderstand more.

"Uhm so since Kai was able to make it..." Hiro starts, thankfully changing the subject

"We were wondering if you all want to play by the river today. Maybe do barbeque and light fireworks" he suggests and looks at everyone.

"Ohh that sounds fun!" Maura readily agrees.

"Ive never done that before" he adds.

"Everyone else?" Hiro asks and they agree as well that itll be fun.

"Okay great! We can start preparing after we eat and someone needs to get fireworks." He says. I can see the excitement in shiori's eyes as well about the fireworks especially.

"Ill go get them" i present myself.

"Ill go with!" Maura seconds me.

And that's how we ended up in town again, at the convenience store.
