Nines was concerned as the taxi pulled up outside the club. He didn't have his own car, and he'd been off duty when the call came through. A call from Tina. He'd received a few messages throughout the evening. He wasn't sure why, but Tina had felt it was important to keep him informed of Gavin's condition. She'd sent a few snaps of the three of them in the club. Drinking. Nines didn't entirely approve, but he understood that Gavin was an adult who understood his own limitations. He'd begun to doubt that last part somewhat with the subsequent pictures. The things that had caused him to leave the precinct were the final two pictures and the urgent call afterwards.

Tina had sent him a picture of Gavin sitting alone at the bar looking a little sad. Isolated. Tina had suggested it would be a good time for him to go home. Apparently, unfortunate decisions were often made at times like this. Nines knew Gavin and assessed her concerns to be warranted, however Gavin was an adult and could make his own decisions. He should be aware enough of his limitations to get himself home. Still, Gavin had lingered in his mind since then. Seeing him in such a low mood made him worry. Had he played a part in it? That seemed likely. They hadn't spoken since the incident at the hotel. The memory still set his sensors ablaze. He could recall it all with perfect clarity. The sweet softness of Gavin's lips, the shuddering warmth of his breath, the trembling grip of his hands. His sensors had felt so full he thought they might short out. Had Gavin felt something similar? They hadn't spoken about it since, and Gavin hadn't brought it up. In fact, he'd seemed to actively avoid it.

The next picture had made his jaw itch at the seams. An unknown male had approached Gavin. He was touching Gavin. Standing at his side, leaning on the bar. His expression seemed sympathetic. They were having a conversation, but by the stiffness of Gavin's shoulders, Nines knew he didn't like it. It was probably too soon after the warehouse. He'd noticed that Gavin had developed a distaste for human contact. It wasn't surprising, but he always shrank away when Nines touched him with his artificial flesh intact. The way the young man was leaning over him had clearly set off a fight-or-flight response. He'd frozen like a deer in headlights.

The final picture had caused Nines to call a cab and leave the precinct. Gavin had stumbled from his stool and into the arms of this unknown male. He seemed dazed and confused as he leaned on his shoulder. Hazy and vulnerable. The young man looked jovial enough as he propped him up, but Nines didn't approve. His jaw fully unhinged at the sight. This human was touching Gavin. Holding Gavin. His LED span red at the warning from Tina. If you have any interest in Gavin, then you'd best get your ass down here and make a move. This guy's not messing around.

He was in the auto-cab and on his way within five minutes, pristine as always. He saw no reason to remove his uniform, even while off duty, unless it required cleaning. The last time he'd cleaned it had been just after retrieving it from behind the dumpsters near the DPD. Gavin had helped him. He'd washed the trousers, shirt, and pants in his own machine before walking him down to a dry cleaner to have his jacket seen to. It was something Nines had never done before, so the experience had been most useful. He'd even stored information on which products Gavin had used in order to buy some for himself later. Gavin had used standard tablets for cleaning and added a blue softening agent. It wasn't necessary for his android skin, however, Gavin had insisted it would feel good on his sensors. He'd also hand washed his leather gloves with the same softening agent. It had made the texture a little more pleasant.

During the drive, Tina called. Gavin had stumbled off somewhere with that guy from the photos, and she wasn't sure where he'd gone. She'd thought the bathrooms at first, but Chris had checked and found them empty. Nines didn't need to see his reflection to know his eyes had shifted to red at the news. Tina said she'd look around the dance floor a little more, but she wasn't hopeful. He may have already headed home for the night. Possibly not to his home. Nines felt heat swirl in his chest at the news. Had Gavin not understood during their previous encounter? Perhaps he had not made himself clear enough. He hadn't made himself clear enough. His top four eyes pinched shut as he admonished himself internally. He'd told Gavin that he was processing the incident and then said nothing further. That Gavin had taken that as a lack of interest on his part was entirely his fault.

Nines paid wirelessly as the taxi pulled up outside the club. There was a long line of people waiting to enter. Inefficient. Nines stormed to the main doors. Two large security guards stopped him briefly. Unacceptable. One guard was human. The other was a GJ500 security model. Nines ignored the human and connected wirelessly to the security model. He rarely used his detective status, however, he was willing to make an exception on this occasion. His identification, as well as the red LED, blazing eyes, and unhinging jaw, were enough for them to stand aside relatively quickly.

He physically recoiled upon entry. The noise level was unacceptable to his sensitive audio components, so he cut the sound immediately. His eyes were assaulted by lights and changing colours. He dampened his visual spectrum to only shades of grey and dimmed the flashing brightness level, squeezing his top four eyes shut against the constant blinking. Moving by heat signatures would be inefficient. There were too many people. It was too crowded. If he got closer, the bodies would press against him. Luckily, those closest to him were gifted with an advanced level of self-preservation and stepped aside as they noticed him heading their way. The smell was unpleasant. He couldn't detect Gavin in the air because of all the other humans and the heavy scent of dry ice. He lowered his nasal sensitivity to limit the smell. Dry ice was thick in the air. It was unpleasant as his tongue picked it up, but he could tolerate it for as long as it took to find Gavin. Locate Gavin Reed. The mission remained in his vision as he searched the area.

He found Tina, noting her swearing quietly as she pushed her way through the crowd towards him. He couldn't hear her as she spoke, but he could read her lips. She was checking that he was alright. It was easy to see that he was in some distress from the environment, as well as Gavin's disappearance. She had not located him yet. It seemed he was not inside the club. Chris was also looking somewhere on the opposite side of the floor. Tina grimaced a little as Nines opened his unhinged jaw and allowed his tongue to slither out. The small tendrils unfurled and coiled, sweeping the air and scenting the area. The level of human sweat was distasteful, but with careful searching, he caught the barest hint of Gavin in the enclosed space. He had been there recently, and was still close by. Along with his scent came a sense of wrongness. A chemical undertone. It was unpleasant on his tongue. He could also scent a certain amount of distress. He is afraid. Someone was scaring Gavin. It was an almost bitter sensation.

I believe he is still in the vicinity. Nines didn't bother to say more as he strode across the dancefloor. He avoided people as much as possible, and they avoided him once they saw his face. They almost flinched away as they took in his sharp teeth, red eyes, and slithering tongue. Nines was relieved as Gavin's scent took him into a quiet corridor. His top four eyes opened wider once he'd escaped the overly stimulating environment, and he returned his sensitivity levels to normal. The world opened up with bright colours and the thrumming base of the music. He pushed the door leading outside, scenting Gavin's arousal and distress with his nose and tongue.

His eyes blazed as he shoved the door and strode down into the alley. He could hear needy whimpers and distressed whines. Gavin. The sound was coming from further down, in the shadowy corner beside the dumpsters. He was silent as he closed in on the couple. Incorrect. Not a couple. This was not a consensual encounter. The young man had his face buried in Gavin's throat as he kissed and nibbled his sensitive skin. One hand was searching beneath Gavin's top as the other pumped his throbbing cock. Gavin was leaning back against the brickwork, tilting his head away from the man as he gripped his strong shoulders. He was frozen. Dirty green eyes wide and trickling tears. Fear. Gavin was afraid. He'd also been heavily drugged. An aphrodisiac. Not a pleasant one. He would suffer severe side effects the next morning, with the strong possibility of addiction if he was dosed a second time.

"N-Nines…" The word was barely a whisper, but Nines had heard it for the plea that it was. Help! It seemed the young human male hadn't heard Gavin speak. He was too busy digging his teeth into Gavin's flesh and teasing his weeping cock. A wanton sound escaped Gavin's lips as he turned his face away in shame. He couldn't help that his body felt so good. The young man chuckled as he drew back to cup Gavin's cheek, forcing him to look at him. Gavin whined an objection at the treatment, especially as the man forcibly kissed his lips. Nines' eyes blazed as he watched, all six sharpening, assessing each way he could remove the man's limbs.

"You like that, babe? Fuck, you'll like it even more once I loosen you up and stick it in. That's what you want, right? I bet you'll take it like a bitch in heat. Fuck, I can't wait to get you home…I'll fuck you long and hard, and then tomorrow I'll give you a little more…What do you think? Would you like that? Would you like to feel good like this all through tomorrow? Fuck, my friends will love you…Probably pay a good amount for a shot at that ass, too…" Gavin whined in distress as the young man crooned at him. Nines had heard enough. Tina and Chris were too close for him to do as he pleased, as he had in the warehouse, however he was less than gentle as he gripped the young man's neck. The man released Gavin immediately, yelping and struggling as Nines tossed him back against the opposite wall. "What the fuck? Who do you think you are, y-" He lost his voice with a strangled whimper as he finally raised his eyes to look at Nines.

I am a police detective with the DPD. This man is my partner. You're under arrest for assaulting a police officer, sexual assault, infliction of bodily harm, and possession of illegal substances. I suggest you submit quietly rather than risking additional bodily injury. Nines' voice was calm and steady as he spoke, using the speaker in his throat since his jaws were thrown wide. There was no way he could talk normally. It seemed the young man didn't comprehend Nines' warning about bodily injury. He launched himself to the right, attempting to return to the club, likely hoping to get lost in the crowds within. Nines sprang into action, jaws flung wide as he ran the human down. They went down hard, Nines' teeth clamping down on the young man's shoulder in warning. He screamed in terror, flailing and writhing as he felt Nines' teeth close in beneath his clothing and the wet slosh of analysis fluid on his shirt. Do not move.

"Jesus fucking-Nines! Stand down!" Tina ordered in alarm as she pushed the door open and looked down at them. Chris was with her and hurried down the steps, though he was smart enough to remain back as four of Nines' blazing red eyes glared up at him. Tina hurried down and searched through her handbag to fish out a set of cuffs. "It's alright…We're here now…Gavin's safe, and you caught the bad guy…You did good…We can take it from here…We'll cuff him and call a car to take him in…You can let go now…" Tina soothed as she crouched in front of him with the cuffs dangling from her finger. Nines eyed her with a frown. Although she was being a little overcautious, she was correct. Gavin was safe, and removing him from the vicinity of the assault would be a better use of his time. He was slow and deliberate as he loosened his hold on the human, excreting a final lather of thick analysis fluid for good measure.

"I've got him…" Chris murmured as he knelt down and took over Nines' restraining hold as Tina worked on the cuffs. Nines had already retreated to find Gavin, who'd slumped into a crouch. He was resting against the wall in a small ball, gripping his own hair tightly as he tried to breathe through the effects of the chemicals. He was shivering and trembling. His cock was solid and leaking within his jeans where he'd tucked it away. A distressed sound slipped out as he noticed the colossal figure crouching in front of him. It was them! It was those men again! He was in the warehouse. They were going to hurt him. They were going to-

Gavin. His head shot up as he recognised Nines' voice. Nines was deeply touched by the level of hope and relief he saw in that needy gaze. You are safe now. I will take you somewhere to safely process the drugs in your system. Do you understand? Nines waited for his nod before he reached out to touch him. Gavin allowed Nines to pull him to his feet and wasted no time in burrowing into his chest. Nines accepted the contact, taking the opportunity to measure Gavin's vitals. His heart rate had increased with the blood flow. His skin was hot. He was getting dehydrated. His breaths had quickened as he tried to calm himself. Nines held him close and ran a gloved hand through his hair, soothing him as he looked up accommodations within the area.

He skipped the cheaper places. They would likely have uncomfortable beds, poor facilities, and thin walls. He wanted somewhere that Gavin could fully relax and feel at ease. Somewhere the sheets wouldn't add to his stimulation. Somewhere he could rest peacefully once the drug had run its course. A place with a bath he could submerge himself in later. Somewhere Gavin would feel safe making those delectable sounds that he'd so enjoyed during their previous encounters. There was a place not far away. Three stars. A king sized suite was available. A bath and shower. Air conditioning. Internet access. Sound proofed walls. A television. A mini bar. Room service. Nines scanned Gavin's vitals. Check out at the hotel was around twelve in the afternoon. Not long enough for the drug to leave his system and allow sufficient time to rest and recuperate. Nines booked three nights.

"Come with me." Now that his own stress level had lowered, and he had Gavin safely tucked in his arms, Nines' jaws had re-hinged and the skin of his cheeks had sealed. Gavin nodded against his shoulder and gripped his arm. Nines almost huffed as he stumbled. The combination of the drug and alcohol had left him shaky. "I've got you…" Nines assured as he swept Gavin into his arms. He knew there was no way he'd usually allow a such thing, but with the dizziness in his head and the weakness of his legs, he couldn't even think of objecting.
