After a hard day at work

The quick and furious sound of keys being smashed can be heard in the background, putting the perfect mechanical melody to accompany the reading of the document in front of her.

As her eyes scan over another of the countless lines filling it out, Yae can't help but notice the letters beginning to blurry for what seems to be the nth time of the day, obliging the pink haired woman to take a break from her arduous work.

Letting out a long and heavy sigh, she falls back to let her body rests completely against her comfortable office chair, hearing her back cracking satisfactorily, before she closes her eyes to rub them gently and then pinch the bridge of her nose.

It's been an hectic day by far, full of last minute meetings with important clients, weekly reports, while also having to help her subordinates with their doubts to be able to finish part of the work in time, and she isn't even counting the long list of emails pilling up in her inbox waiting to be answered...

Another heavy sigh escapes her lips at the mere thought of it, and Yae can't see the hour to finish with all so she can go back home, wanting nothing more than have a hot and relaxing shower and yummy dinner.

A soft smile spreads across her lips at the thought of resting comfortably in the warm embrace of her lovely girlfriend as they watch a movie together between caresses and kisses, until she ends up falling asleep completely worn out after a hard day of work so Sara, her strong girlfriend has to carry her to their bed, wrapping her arms around her tightly to help her sleep soundly through the whole night.

But sadly, the pink haired woman still has a lot of work waiting for her as well as some hours to go ahead before that lovely thought can happen.

The pink haired executive can only grumble, opening her eyes to gaze back at the computer screen in front of her ready to continue with her work, when a vibration in her pocket pulls her out of her misery.

Happy to have a distraction, Yae eagerly takes her phone out of her pocket to see a new message from her girlfriend flashing on the screen.

Just as I was thinking on her.

Yae thinks to herself, an amused smile adorning her lips as she opens the text to read it.

"Take away food, or would you prefer that I cook for you?"

Sara asks her, leaving Yae thinking for a moment about it, before she quickly replies.

"As lovely as dinner made by you sounds, I want some take away food, please. I'm really craving for some fried tofu of our fav restaurant today ?"

She answers her, imaging Sara snorting at her text, before she gets a new reply.

"Okay, then take away is. Please, don't overwork yourself at work and remember to take it easy"

A soft smile spreads across Yae's lips as her heart warms up upon how caring Sara is, before she types out a new and final answer.

"I promise I won't ?"

She texts her, putting her phone back in her pocket to look at the document in front of her with fiery determination and feeling reinvigorated to analyze it thanks to her caring girlfriend's words.

Two hours later, Yae just finished reading the last line of the grueling document, noting down all her conclusions of it and providing of information with it, before she sends an email with all of it to her boss. Quickly, she shuts down her computer to go back home the soonest possible without giving any of her workmates the chance to oblige her to stay and work overtime.

As soon as Yae gets out of the offices building, she's greeted with the sight of the night completely fallen over the solitary streets. A gust of chilly air blowing, obliging her to wrap her coat tighter around her body, before she begins to walk cautious of her surroundings towards the train station.

As she turns the corner, she can't help but come across the sight of a person standing next to a motorcycle and under the dimly light of a streetlight.

Scared of it, Yae thinks about turning around and take another path, when she notices said person is a tall woman that looks quite familiar: short dark purple hair, piercings in her ears and some tattoos adorning her arms.

- Sara?

She asks aloud as she walks closer to the person and notices the spared pale pink helmet adorned with a Sakura petal that Sara always carries with her whenever they're taking a ride together. The other woman turns around at the mention of her name, giving her a sweet and wide smile.

- Hey there.

Sara simply greets her, eliciting a giggle from Yae, before she feels the taller woman's lips leaving a tender kiss on her forehead.

- What are you doing here?

- It was getting late and I didn't want anything happening to you, so I came to take you home.

Yae feels herself melting at how sweet Sara is, circling her girlfriend's neck with her arms to pull her closer and kiss her while Sara surrounds her waist to pull her even closer to deepen the kiss.

- Ready to go back home?

Sara asks softly, helping Yae to put her helmet on. She sees the pink haired woman nodding, before she smiles and puts her own helmet on and hops on her motorcycle, waiting for Yae to sit behind her and hug her from behind tightly.

The dark purple haired woman squeezes her girlfriend's hands, feeling Yae tightening her hold around her more, before the engine roars alive and she starts to drive them safely to their home so they can have some fried tofu together, before laying on the couch together, enjoying the warmth caresses and kisses of the other lulling them to sleep in one another's embrace.
