(Authors Notes: I am so very sorry for this very late update to this story but as I have stated in the author notes of Times brutality, I have needed a good long break from writing, it seems to have done me a world of good and my imagination and thirst for writing seems back to normal. This chapter is five to seven chapters worth put together, basically making up for the lost time over the period I have been missing and putting the story on the last third of its tale. Everything is now set for the big run down to the end, granted still a lot to do but it is now all set up and ready for it. I hope you enjoy it.

(Jedi Temple)
The council were surprised to say the least to be contacted by a Jedi who had all but vanished some time back, not one of them had known where Regina Taloure had gone until now. To say Zirrik was even more annoyed at what his lack of strength had brought was an understatement, he had not even known she had been dispatched on a mission by Vrook to hunt down a dangerous killer with only the guardian Enrik for a companion. They had been ordered to keep communication silence until they had captured him, that Vrook had not felt the need to inform him of this mission showed how much his control of the council had laxed. How many more missions had been authorized without his knowledge or agreement? He wondered. This would not stand, he would be questioning Vrook and the others about this later, but now he had to focus on the conversation at hand.
"It is good to hear you are safe young knight, we were troubled to find you missing and had no idea where you were as Vrook failed to inform me of your mission" he finally said. "In a sense your mission could be classed as illegal as it did not go through proper channels, perhaps one of the reasons he did not want you to send regular updates and keep silent" he mused aloud.
"I don't understand Grand Master, I thought the council had leave to give missions to any knight as needed" Regina replied clearly confused.
"Indeed so, but they are required to inform me of all missions so they can be added to the mission list on the computer system so they can be tracked, but even there he failed to do this hence your mission was completely unknown and had anything happened to you we would know nothing of it" Zirrik informed her.
"Troubling this trend is" Vandar spoke up. "Question how many other unknown missions there are that young knights have been sent on which we do not know" he added to which Zirrik nodded in agreement.
"Why isn't Master Vrook there to defend himself?" Regina inquired having expected the man who had given her this assignment to speak up and angrily deny all this.
"I am afraid to inform you young one that there was an attempted coup led by she who you would have known as Atris but she has now been stripped of her name and all deeds she once had achieved has been removed from the archives" Zhar spoke up to answer. "Vrook and Kai-El were a part of this coup and have thus been stripped of their status as council members and placed in the cells, the coup almost succeeded if not for the actions of someone we least expected to help us" he continued.
"Revan?" they all heard Regina mutter.
"How did you know that young one if you have been operating under a communication blackout?" Zirrik inquired.
"I encountered a very much alive Revan on Stenos Grand Master where I tracked my target, I foolishly believed my guardian and I could bring Revan in and challenged him once the shock had worn off as I had believed him dead" Regina answered and was unable to see the surprised and in two cases horrified looks her answer gained. "We were stupid but thankfully Revan had no intention of killing us, he seemed intent on teaching me his view of the force and only lightly wounded Enrik" she continued unaware of how her story was been taken. "The whole encounter was strange, he declared he was no Sith, that there was a truce between him, the remaining Revanchists and the Jedi and Republic but I did not know whether to believe anything he said but just the fact I was alive after I challenged him made me certain I must contact the council and seek answers and council" she finished.
"You are lucky far more than you understand knight Taloure that Revan is indeed not a Sith or you would indeed be dead or worse turned" Kavar stated darkly.
Whilst he knew he had been wrong to do nothing when the coup happened or about the danger Revan posed to them, that did not mean he trusted the man no matter what he said especially considering he had not refused to consider another attack on the Republic should he feel it necessary once Malak and his people were dead. That a young knight had tried to attack Revan and was still alive amazed him, no matter that Revan was not a Sith as they had once thought he would have expected him to still kill anyone who attacked him especially a Jedi after what the council had tried to do to him.
"He had no intention of killing me of that I am sure Master Kavar, if he had he could have killed me and Enrik easily" Regina responded. "No, his intent was to try and expand my mind on the way I view the force and my connection to it" she told them repeating in a different way what she had already said.
"Take with caution anything he said to you Knight Taloure" Kavar advised her worried what Revan had told her.
They had lost enough people to Revan and his cause, lost enough to his view of the force and he was tired of it. Yes, it seemed Revan was no real enemy just yet, but he had in his mind corrupted enough of their best up and coming Jedi's back during the Mandalorian War, hundreds of knights, padawans and yes even several master's had joined Revan's force and gone to war. They had returned to wage war of them, and yes perhaps not all of them were lost to the dark side but they were not proper Jedi as they shared Revan's heretical view of the force. Listening to him berate them for their devotion to what he described as an out-of-date code had angered him, but he could do little as the council was fully willing to co-operate with Revan at least where Malak and his forces were concerned.
Whilst he would not go the lengths that Atris, Vrook and Kai had gone to protect the Jedi from Revan's influence. He would do what he could to minimise the damage the man could still do to them, like corrupting the minds of anymore of their up-and-coming Jedi like Regina who he thought could soon make Master. She was skilled already, and firmly believed in the code and the council's judgement. All she needed in his opinion was more experience, they could ill afford to lose her like they had lost Surrik and more importantly of late Bastila herself. Especially if as, he feared a second war with Revan's followers began once Malak and his demented followers were all dead, they would need all the skilled Jedi they could field if they had anyway to stop Revan conquering the Republic.
"He was not trying to corrupt me Master Kavar, he did not try and seduce me to the dark side or make me tap into it in anger" Regina countered him breaking his train of thoughts although she left out she had used what the council would see as a dark side power to save Enrik or so it had seemed, but her underlying reason for using it was not anger or hate but desperation and hope of saving her guardian and friend.
Even now she realised Revan was correct that there was more to the force than what she had currently been taught, that one's emotions and desires could allow you to tap into powers that most would say were dark but would not corrupt you if you did not overuse them.
"As I said he was just trying to make me study my connection and understanding of the force more, clearly considering what you have told me he is not a threat I need to worry about at the moment" she added moving on.
"No Knight Taloure he is not" Zhar told her. "For now, we should move on from this topic and you can fill us in on how your current assignment is going" he added.
"Agreed, exactly what is the status of your mission?" Zirrik inquired with a slight glare at Kavar as he went to argue but quickly caught himself when he noticed the glare coming his way.
"I have tracked my target to Stenos where he has gone to ground among the many bounty hunters, murderers and other nefarious types who use this planet either as a home or to hide or visit" Regina informed them. "We were in the process of trying to locate his current hiding spot when we encountered Revan" she added.
"Very well continue your hunt Knight Taloure but do not attempt capture upon locating him just yet, we will send a Master and fellow Knight to back you up on this" Zirrik ordered. "Having seen this criminal's record, I believe he is too dangerous to attempt to take solo, your guardian however good he is at combat lacks the aide of the force" he continued. "This is not a slight on your skills or his, but on Stenos he may find aide that can turn the tide against you thus additional help may aide you in bringing him to justice" he explained.
"Understood Master Zirrik" Regina replied taking no offence as some help from another Jedi would be welcome considering how long she had been on her own and as good a person as Enrik was he did not know or understand the force. "I will await their arrival" she assured them.
"May the force be with you Knight Taloure" Zirrik responded before he ended the transmission. "Send Master Azrial and Knight Jinn to Stenos immediately to aide Knight Taloure" he ordered.
"Yes Master Zirrik" Yarrik responded with a nod of his head and moved to comply.
"What was Revan doing on Stenos?" Kavar mused aloud making them all turn to face him. "If I recall it is a world close to Korriban" he told them.
"Close to Korriban Stenos is" Vandar agreed.
"So why was Revan there?" Kavar repeated his question.
"Perhaps a scouting mission on Korriban's defences" Kane suggested already wondering what Revan's end goal was where Malak and his forces were concerned.
"Perhaps, a strike on the one planet most Sith Empires claim as their home world would be a huge blow to Malak's ego and his control of his forces" Zhar could not help pointing out.
"Indeed so, it would perhaps end with him been challenged as they would see him as weak for not been able to defend their most important planet" Sully agreed with a nod of his head.
"Possible but I do not think Revan would want Malak killed by one of his underlings, he would want to kill Malak with his own hands" Zhar shot back confidently.
"Agreed, he would want to end Malak's life with his own hand after what Malak has done to him" Kavar could not help but agree. "Especially if everything Revan told us about his motives and those of his followers were true, the betrayal would cut all the more deeply" he stated.
"Agreed Kavar, and I sensed no lie from Revan when he was telling us about his true motives behind his actions since returning from the outer regions" Zirrik shot back knowing the man still distrusted Revan but determined to ensure he did nothing that brough the Jedi so close to their downfall like Atris and Vrook had thus he stepped on his distrust quickly.
Kavar sensed the rebuke and nodded knowing he was on shaky ground as it was, he had all but supported removing Zirrik when the coup was launched by helping Kai detain Vash, it was only his refusal to fight during Revan and Surrik's return that prevented him joining Vrook, Kai and their followers in the cells.
"Perhaps Revan will share his reasoning when or if he contacts us next" Zhar suggested. "Or we can inquire about it when Lonna and Vima next contact us" he added.
"Agreed, for now this council is dismissed" Zirrik concluded as he slowly stood and was escorted out by his aide followed by the others.

Revan watched as the shuttle taking his catspaw to Malak finally left the atmosphere, he smirked just imagining Malak's reaction to getting his little gift. Turning he entered his own ship but found a slight pressure from the force made him realise it was not time to leave this planet yet, clearly, he had something else to do here but what he did not know but he was certain whatever it was would show itself soon. He told Melkor they were not leaving just yet and the reason before going to his bed to meditate, perhaps that would help him find the reason the force was telling him to stay.
On another landing pad Regina and Enrik were still going over what the council had informed them had happened whilst they had been out of communication, it was shocking beyond anything they could have expected. First Revan was alive and well and he was not a Sith and at the moment not an enemy of the Jedi or the Republic, two there had be an attempted coup within the council itself led by Atris and Vrook the man who had given her this mission and if what Master Zhar had told her without permission or at least informing the Grand Master of the mission in the first place. Atris had had her name scrubbed from the records, something that had not happened as far as she knew ever before, not even those who had turned to the dark side like Ulic Qel-Droma and Exar Kun and even those that came before them. Vrook and others were now imprisoned, stripped of their ranks and authority.
"I never imagined such an event happening" Enrik said finally into to the silence.
"Nor did I" Regina admitted with a shake of her head. "But it has, and now not only do we have to adjust to it but so does every Jedi even those who are council members still" she told her friend and protector. "I did note whilst most of those we spoke to seem to accept Revan as an ally right now, Master Kavar still holds a lot of distrust towards the man considering how he spoke to me" she mused.
"I caught that, and I also caught that his view did not go down well with the Grand Master and Master Zhar" Enrik replied. "So now we wait for another Master and Jedi to arrive to help us apprehend our fugitive?" he asked.
Regina considered that before beginning to worry that by the time the new Master and Jedi arrived their quarry could flee the planet at any time, they did not know exactly where he was but they did know the general area he was in which was one of the seedier towns on the planet close to their landing zone which is why they had landed where they did and had been on there way there when they encountered Revan. The distraction of their fight with Revan and then their return to the ship to talk to the council and heal Enrik's wounds had cost them time, time their target could use to leave the planet at any time especially if anyone had noticed their arrival and he learned about it. No waiting for aide was not a viable option, but they needed help to ensure his capture and she had an idea where to get that help now, she had talked to the council and learned how things stood.

Admiral Karath was growing more and more uneasy as things progressed, his lord Malak was becoming more unhinged with each setback they suffered due to Revan's actions, he was beginning to regret betraying the general and joining Malak's side. But only in as it was now looking, he would not survive too much longer no matter which man won the confrontation, Revan would kill him for his betrayal and if not him then Carth would do it for his betrayal of Telos and the destruction it had brought and for sending his son to Korriban to be corrupted into a Sith. Even if Malak won, he doubted he would survive for long as the man was growing more crazed and dangerous as time progressed and eventually, he would kill him for one reason or another or just because he desired to.
He glanced around the bridge to ensure Malak was not actually standing behind him and was relieved to find him absent, he tugged nervously at his collar and wondered just when things had turned so deadly for him. Of course, it was when the news broke that Revan was alive before that everything seemed to be going his way and his future looked bright in the new Empire Malak would build once the Republic was destroyed. Now all he seemed to have to look forward too was death of one sort or the other.
The loss of Korriban had not broken to the rest of the empire just yet, but he suspected once it did there would be more trouble that would not help improve Malak's mood. He had already ordered their spies and fleets to increase their attempts to finally locate the hiding place of the surviving Revanchists but so far there had been no success and for that he cursed their lack of success. The sudden quietness of the bridge made him stiffen as he realised Malak must have returned to the bridge, he tried not to sweat too much as he waited for whatever came next.
"Karath is the Imperator still in orbit of Korriban?" Malak demanded to know without any semblance of care for his rank which was not a good sign.
"Yes, My Lord, they have been trying to use their sensors and scanners to see if it is possible for any of our people to still be alive even if it is a slim one" Karath responded.
"Order them to bombard the planet, I will make the old Sith spirits fear me" Malak spat uncaring of what it might mean for the men onboard the Imperator when the spirits responded.
Karath wanted to object to this order as he was certain it would only get the men onboard the ship killed in very gruesome ways, after what the Sith spirits had done to the men they had sent down to the planet he did not doubt they could even kill anyone above the planet as well. But he knew better than to voice his objection and moved to comply, even as he spoke to the captain of the ship, he could already tell the man knew he has been ordered to his death but would do as he was ordered either because of fear of loyalty to Malak.

Revan was unsurprised when Jarrik reported they had a Jedi and a guardian outside their ship requesting a meeting, this was why the force had indicated that he not leave the planet just yet. Smirking he headed for the ramp with Niks and Melkor following him, not that he needed the backup, but he appreciated the support. He doubted the Jedi had come for a rematch or to cause trouble, not after he had shown her, she and her guardian were outmatched. He noted Major Shepard and Schaefer were outside their own ship watching the two newcomers as soon as they exited the ship, this caused him to smile wider at how well-oiled his followers were.
"Can we help you Jedi?" he inquired casually.
"My name is Regina, and this is Enrik my guardian, I apologise for before Revan I did not know how things had changed whilst I was out of contact with the council" Regina responded calmly.
"I assumed as much and as you have apologised even if it was not necessary, I assume you have contacted them now" Revan replied with a smile.
"I have, we have been shocked by what has happened especially where Master Vrook is concerned as he was the one who sent me on the mission I am on and ordered me to stay out of contact until it was done, and I have now learned he did it without notifying the grand master" Regina informed him in answer. "They are sending a Master and Knight to help me but, in the time, it takes them to arrive, our target may escape, and I was hoping that you and your team might aide in capturing him us seen as there is a somewhat uneasy peace between our two sides now" she requested.
Revan was impressed that after their little clash of blades she had the nerve to request his aide, not that he was annoyed with the request as she was correct now there was an uneasy peace between them, and the Republic and he wanted to keep it like that until Malak was dealt with and the girl had potential. Plus, he knew Bastila would expect him to help the young Jedi, more than likely she knew her, and it was even possible they were friends, and he did not want to refuse and end up angering Bastila and ruining the growing relationship.
"Who is your target?" Melkor inquired from beside him.
In response Regina handed over a pad with the data on the subject already display. "He is a multiple murderer and perhaps even more, he has killed several high-profile targets on Corustant four of them were women" she informed them with clear disgust visible in her features and voice, disgust that was shared by them all. "I need to bring him down now before he can escape and kill more people" she stated.
"We will help you" Revan responded the disgust he felt at this man still visible on his face as in his mind murderers needed to be stopped and quickly. "Melkor you are with me and have Major Shepard and her team join us" he said.
"Understood general" Melkor nodded and quickly jogged over to where Shepard still stood with Schaefer and began to explain she and her team were needed.
"I take it you know where your target currently is?" Niks inquired.
"We do, we were headed towards the settlement where he has taken refuge to try and apprehend him as best could" Regina answered. "It is why were in the forest we encountered you in at that time, the settlement is just on the other side just slightly west of this port" she explained.
"Excellent, so we can quickly help you reach and capture your target and then return so we can return to my fleet, we have many things still to do" Revan said with a smile. "And Bastila and the others must be getting a little uneasy been left on my fleet without me present" he added with a slight chuckle wondering how Bastila and Meetra were getting on and how Mission was doing learning from Rikka.
Regina was taken aback by the mention of Bastila who had been in the same class of younglings as herself, they had all but grown up together and had become firm friends over the years they had known one another. She had lost track of where Bastila was after she had heard that her ship the Endar Spire had been destroyed but that she had survived and returned to the academy on Dantoonie, and that she had only learnt from a fellow Jedi she had met back on Tatooine a few months back. She had been distressed at how close her friend had come to losing her life, that she would not have even learnt about it until she had tracked and captured her target and by then it would have been too late except to feel the sorrow of her loss. Her presence on Revan's fleet though raised questions about what really happened when the Jedi strike team Bastila had been a part of had confronted and supposedly killed Revan?
"You know her" Revan's question broke into her thoughts, and she realised her reaction to Bastila's name had given her away.
"I do, I grew up with her in the temple and trained with her and several others until we were separated when we began our training under different masters but we are friends although I have not been able to talk to her since I was sent on this mission and the only thing I learned of her was from a fellow Jedi back on Tatooine about her ship been blown up over Taris" she informed him to which he nodded as if he had confirmed something he had already thought about.
"Yes, I was on the Endar Spire as well with her when it was attacked by Malak and his ilk, but we escaped to Taris, her alone and me with the captain of the ship Carth Orsini" Revan told her much to her surprised. "We had to locate and save her before we could escape the planet which Malak bombed to prevent our escape, but he failed to kill us" he added bitterly as the waste of life on Taris and Malak's cruel disregard of it still angered him.
"Why were you on a Republic ship?" Regina could not help but ask as Melkor, Shepard and her team joined them.
"It is a bit of a long story, but we can discuss it as we head to the settlement where your target is, Niks keep an eye on our ship and guests along with the Jarrik and Rikka and have HK come out to join us will you" Revan replied before turning to Niks to begin giving final orders.
A few minutes later Regina saw a copperish droid join them from the ship Revan had exited, for reasons she could not explain she shivered as she looked it over and decided this droid was dangerous. Revan indicated for her to lead and thus she set of back towards the woods which would lead to the settlement her target hid within, Revan and the others followed and even as they walked, she listened as Revan explained how he and Bastila had ended up allies although she began to suspect as the story unfolded certain things have been left out.

(Leviathan Class Battleship Revenge)
Bastila was honestly enjoying learning how to run such a large fleet even if she and Surrik were still unsure about the other, they had at least put things into perspective that allowed them to work together as they had been instructed to by Revan. She had thought running the Endar Spire had been hard but even then Carth had really overseen the ship and how it ran whilst she decided and led the missions they were on, now seeing what Meetra and Rikka dealt with when they were not on the ship really showed her what she had been missing. Learning new skills and abilities were always welcome to her, and this was no different, the sparring matches were also helping her keep in shape for the battles to come and she was certain they would come.
Either Malak would find them, or they would go to him, seen as Revan and his followers already knew where the Star Forge was located. More fighting would come, she just hoped that in the end the Republic could hold on till they were strong enough for them to deal the fatal blow to Malak and his ilk. If Revan's plan to unite the Mandalorians under Canderous worked then together they would be a serious fighting force when they went for the Star Forge, she wondered how Vash and Vima were doing cooped up in their rooms still trying to work out how to stop a renewed war between the Republic and the Revanchists once Malak and his ilk were dead.
"General, we're picking up communications suggesting General Revan and his team were successful in depriving Malak and his ilk of Korriban" one of the bridge crew's reports broke through her thoughts and made her refocus on what was going on around her.
"Where are the communications coming from Enrick?" Surrik inquired moving towards the man.
"A Sith fleet four systems away, we have sensor drones in the area just like the three other systems surrounding this one we are in" Enrick responded. "It seems that according to the communications the ancient Sith spirits have risen up and killed everyone on the planet" he told them.
"Everyone?" Bastila could not help but ask to which Enrick nodded.
"Try and Remember Shan everyone on that planet was an enemy, even if they were not all Sith they were allies and helping them in the war against the Republic" Meetra told her somewhat coldly feeling no remorse overhearing all the traitors on Korriban were dead as it saved them the trouble of having to take the planet in an invasion.
Bastila looked at Surrik and reluctantly nodded in agreement even if the through of all those people dying, in what she was certain was very painful and unpleasant deaths turned her stomach. She had to remind herself that this was a war and more than likely those people on Korriban would have gladly slaughtered them all if given the chance or helped in enslaving them, still she was a Jedi, and the scale of death was not something she was comfortable with and doubted she ever would be. She did not know how Revan and his people could stand it, but then they had been in the fires of war far longer than she had.
"How large is the fleet?" Surrik inquired her tone serious and made Bastila refocus on the danger that fleet posed to them if it got any closer.
"Surprisingly only a hundred ships General" Enrick answered. "My guess is that Malak has split up most of the fleets he has in operation into smaller fleets to search more systems for us" he suggested. "It makes sense he would do this as it would help them search more systems quicker, once they find us, they will call the rest of the fleets to help destroy us" he added.
"Agreed, keep a close eye on them, if they get any closer to us, I want a quick warning" Surrik ordered. "Organa send word to Ordo's ship of the possibility we may be discovered and to be prepared to fight" she ordered turning to the other bridge crew member who if she remembered had a brother on another ship who was also a communications officer.
"Aye General sending now" Organa replied with a nod.

(Cruiser Pride of Mandalore)
Canderous dodged the blow coming from his most recent challenger who also happened to be a fellow Ordo called Niklaus who used to serve under him back during the war, the man had been a competent sergeant, but he clearly had allowed himself to lose skill and discipline in the years since the war ended. His strikes were almost desperate and wild, his footwork all over the place almost as if he was drunk. He hoped not as that would make this challenge far too easy, each challenge was pushing him to adapt and regain the mental aptitude he had had during the war. Whilst he had never allowed himself to drop into the sort of mess Niklaus and others had, he could admit whilst he had been a great bounty hunter, he had lost some of the speed and skill he had had back in the war. Now he was regaining that aptitude and skills back, skills and aptitude they would need once they joined the Revanchists in their war. Finally, Niklaus made a fatal error by lunging too far thus allowing him to bring his sword up and sever Niklaus's arm off with his blade, as his fellow Mandalorian fell to his knees screaming in pain he swung his sword one more time and cleanly cut Niklaus's head off.
Shaking his head at how far the man had fallen he sheathed his sword and went to sit back down in his chair on the bridge of his ship, several challenges he had beaten back. He had killed three of them and expected pledges of loyalty from the other four, each of the four had brought significant numbers of Mandalorians with them and most of the defeated challengers soldiers had also stayed even though their leader was dead. Several more independent bounty hunters had also showed up and pledged their loyalty, some of them he had even recognised and was pleased to accept into his ranks. Soon they would be a real fighting force once more, combined with Revan's armada they would be a true power once more.
"Mandalore we are receiving a communication from the Revenge" Jongo informed him.
"They state we should be ready for a fight as a Sith fleet is four systems out searching for us all and we cannot allow them to send out our position to the rest of the Sith" he informed him.
"How many ships in this fleet?" Canderous asked as he moved over to the communication systems.
"A hundred strong, it is believed by the Revanchists that Malak has split up most of his fleets into smaller ones to search more systems and once they have located us, they will signal for the rest to descend on us" Jongo answered as he glanced up at him.
Canderous rubbed his jaw looking up at where he had placed Mandalore's helmet for all to see as he considered the idea of actually attacking the enemy fleet with the ships he now had at his command, from the various groups he must have at least sixty to seventy ships by now maybe even more even if some of them were in need of serious repair and others were not exactly battlecruisers. He could request some of the less obvious Revanchists ships to help out, a surprise assault could cripple and destroy the entire enemy fleet if carried out well. But still he doubted they could do so and stop at least one of the enemies from getting out a cry for help, thus even more enemy ships would be called to the star system and its surrounding systems such as this one thus exposing them anyway.
"Order all ships to raise shields and prepare their weapons just in case this Sith fleet finds us, it is time we repaid them for the all blood our people have lost to their insanity over the long years" he finally ordered as in his mind his people had long been used as cannon fodder for the Sith in their constant wars with the Jedi and the Republic with little care for what happened to them or whether whatever promises had been made were fulfilled.
Instantly the people on the bridge snapped into action, the idea of finally getting back to fighting for a worthy cause pushing them along. Canderous knew however that his view of the Sith and their relationship to his people was not held by everyone, some would still be willing to join them in exchange for a promise of power and other rewards. He and his people would have to keep an eye on everyone in the fleet as best they could, what had happened to Revan at Malak's hands would not happen to him if he could help it.

(Stenos)
Revan looked aside to his companions as the others moved into position around the slum bar their target was currently residing in, drinking, and more than likely using the local entertainment for his sickly pleasures. He felt sorrow for the women forced into those roles although he knew some chose that role, money after all was a great enticement to debase oneself if that was all you cared about. His companions the Jedi Regina and her guardian were still digesting the story he had told her about him becoming a friend of Bastila, and why they were travelling together still. He had of course held back parts of the tale including the fact that he and Bastila had romantic feelings towards one another, she did not need to know that, or anything related to what his people were up to where they were.
"General, everyone is in position" Shepard reported over their comms.
Revan smiled and then turned to Regina. "I want you and your guardian to enter the club and try and arrest the scumbag, more than likely he will make a break for it even start a fight which is what we want" he instructed. "Once he is outside he can only run down one of three pathways which we have all covered thanks to Major Shepard's team, make sure you do not block him from the doorway when you confront him and make it seem like you are overconfident" he advised as HK suddenly appeared next to them making both Regina and Enrik shiver as something about that droid made them uneasy.
Revan settled down and waited as the music from the canteen quickly cut off, he grinned waiting for things to kick off. He wondered why the force had pushed him to wait for this particular Jedi to come to him for help, what was so special about her? The sounds of fighting soon echoed out of the building and minutes later the doors shattered as several people smashed into them engaged in a bitter struggle, he and HK opened fire with the blasters they were using for this engagement although set to stun they would still be effective. Four of the figures brawling dropped to the ground unconscious as the blasts hit them, two others ran each heading for a sperate ally, they were joined by a third figure who ran out of the broken doorway and into the last ally followed swiftly by Regina and Enrik hence pointing out which man was their target.
Revan ordered HK to hold and then took off after the Jedi and her guardian, it did not take him long to find them in cover as the murderer fired on them from behind some metal crates. Pulling his lightsaber he calmly walked into the fire and used his blade to deflect the bolts as they came at him, the man began to lose his calm and quickly turned to run again only to have a blaster rifle butt slammed into his face by Major Shepard who had somehow worked her way around her own position to come down behind where the man had taken cover. The man groaned as he rolled on the ground but quickly shot back up holding a knife and lunged at Shepard, Shepard easily deflected the blow with her vambrace and grabbed his arm and twisted it upwards making the man cry out in pain before she kicked him twice in the chest causing him to drop the knife before she allowed him to fall to the ground. Before he could decide to do anything, else Revan lashed out with his own foot straight to the man's temple knocking him out cold just as Regina and Enrik joined them, they all looked down at the man.
"He is all yours now, I hope you have some suppression cuffs on you" Revan said as Shepard signalled to the others, they had their target.
"I do" Enrik was the one who responded and quickly moved to cuff their prisoner just as Revan spun around and deflected several blaster bolts that exploded from above them.
Shepard raised her blaster and began firing upwards even as Revan ordered everyone to back slowly away, Enrik picked up their prisoner and threw him over his shoulder as he complied. Regina pulled her own lightsaber and moved to help Revan wondering if somehow their target had found some help of this was something else, finally their attackers came into view to reveal them to be Sith Jedi hunters. It was doubtful they were from the academy; it was possible there was an outpost here and the hunters had sensed them as soon as they had landed.
"To all squad members we are under fire from Sith hunters firing on us from a building to the east, circle round and take them out" Shepard shouted into her radio as her armour took two hits but did not cause any injury due to the sturdy design.
Revan and Regina moved in from of Shepard and Enrik as they moved backwards deflecting several more blaster bolts, right now it was a stalemate, but Revan knew this would not last especially as he noted one of the hunters was pulling a grenade from his belt. Even as he primed it, HK appeared out of the darkness and fired his own long blaster take the hunters hand right off. Seconds later the grenade exploded knocking the rest of the hunters of their feet and in one case killing one of the squad as he was too close to the explosion, the hunter HK had shot dropped to the ground smoking and quite dead. The hunters regained their feet and began firing again but the brief period they were down had given Revan and the others the chance to run to some ideal cover, HK continued firing his advanced sensors in his eyes easily helping either pin the hunters down or hit them. One took a shot to his arm making him stop shooting and another took a wound to his side, just then Shepard's squad fell upon the hunters from behind having circled around and using the sounds of blaster fire to zero in on which building the hunters were using.
The hunters were caught by surprise as they had not investigated how many followers were with Revan before attacking, they had detected the powerful force signature as soon as it had landed and once they had made a positive identification on the ship it was coming from was the same one the still alive Revan was using according to their spies they had decided to throw caution to the wind and try and kill him so as to earn the reward that came from doing the deed. Their lack of caution was now costing them as two of them fell dead with blades sticking out of them thanks to the quick blade work of Javik and Thane, HK held his fire as the rest of the squad appeared knowing his master would not want him killing any of his people.
Shepard wished she was up there in the thick of the action with her squad, but she was not, all she could do was watch as Miranda and the others fought the hunters. Sith hunters she knew were dangerous, they usually hunted and killed Jedi but that did not mean they would not kill ordinary soldiers if needed and ordinary soldiers no matter how skilled or well trained could not truly match against men and women trained to take out Jedi especially if some of the hunters had force abilities as well. But she had faith in her team, and they did not disappoint as their teamwork more than made up for any weaknesses against the hunters. She watched as Miranda and Javik killed another hunter using teamwork, Miranda distracted the hunter by faking an attack and as the hunter moved to counter her, Javik instantly struck and sunk his blade into his back right near his heart. Tali and Ashley managed to combine their fire and overcame the armour of another of the hunters, Vega, Anderson, and Chambers also used massed fire to kill two more.
This caused the last two hunters to try and escape, clearly hoping to retreat and possibly come back with reinforcements if they had them, but Miranda and Vega jumped both knocking them off their feet as they tried to disengage. Anderson, Chambers, Javik and Vega were on them seconds later plunging their knives into the hunters' multiple times until satisfied they were dead. Revan nodded in satisfaction at his people's performance, clearly this group of hunters either did not have any with force potential or they had no chance to use their abilities once attacked, either way they had died for their mistake in attacking them and not expecting a flanking attack.
"Good work people" he heard Shepard say into the comm.
"Indeed, excellent work now we best get out of here just in case there are any more of them on this planet" Revan agreed over his own comm. "I suggest once you have your prisoner secured you do not wait around on this planet for your fellow Jedi, contact them and arrange a meet up at a less dangerous planet" he suggested turning to Regina and Enrik who both nodded agreeing that staying here after encountering hunters was not smart.
Miranda and the rest of the squad soon joined them, and they turned and headed back to where Regina and Enrik's ship was located first, Revan wondered if the young Jedi was to have a role in the future that was necessary for him to aide her and ensure she made it off this planet alive. Clearly, she and her guardian would have been overcome by the hunters had they found them without backup, would she somehow aide them in defeating Malak and his followers or would she have a role in what came after? Questions that were all he had and no answers except that the force had wanted the young Jedi to live, he supposed all he could do was wait and see what came of all this.

The council were surprised when the Chancellor arrived unexpectedly with his guards and Admirals Tia and Dodonna, they watched as the man walked into the council chamber his guards fallen back to stand outside the room whilst Tia and Dodonna followed him inside.
"Chancellor Valorum we were not expecting you, is something wrong?" Zirrik inquired with a raised eyebrow.
"We came to discuss what happens should Revan and his people succeed in destroying Malak and his followers, we know what Revan wants of us so as to avoid them coming for us once more, but can it realistically be done?" Valorum responded. "If we attempt what Revan wants, we could cause the Republic to tear itself apart" he stated with a shake of his head.
"It could lead to an even more destructive civil war" Dodonna growled in complete agreement with the chancellor. "I should have opened fire on his shuttle when it headed back to his ship" she hissed.
"That statement is unbecoming of you admiral" Tia could not help but argue. "Not only would that have led the remaining Revanchists to descend on us like madmen, more than likely finishing what Malak has come close to already" she pushed. "And it is not in you to kill someone in cold blood which this is what you would have done, Revan helped stop an illegal coup within the Jedi and had you killed him alongside I might point out Bastila Shan who is one of the reasons we have not been defeated just yet, it would have been a betrayal of his aide" she finished.
Dodonna looked away but she could not fault her friend's statement, still the return of Revan and his followers were not a welcoming fact at least in her mind. Yes, right now they have been helpful in taking the attention of Malak and his follower's attention and would more than likely wipe them out if they were lucky, but they were also threatening another war if the Republic did not do as they had requested. Removing the senators that Revan and his people wanted removed could prove almost impossible, and as the Chancellor had stated could lead to civil war.
"You may be right Tia, but still civil war is a huge possibility if we do as Revan demands" she finally said with a sigh.
"I do not want to play devil's advocate, but can we afford not to try, let us face facts we do not have the strength to resist should Revan and his followers come for us a second time and unlike Malak they will not act so recklessly but strategically and with purpose to knock us out of the fight as quickly as possible" Zhar finally spoke up. "They are at least giving us a chance to stay in control of what happens once Malak and his people are dead" he added.
"Do we know if Revan even has that many followers remaining?" Dodonna asked looking annoyed at Zhar's statement. "Do we even know if he has much of an army left" she added.
"We saw he had a large enough force to not only confront but hold our defence fleet to a standstill, it has been stated the forces on the ground who wounded many of our fellow Jedi were Mandalorians and let us not forget who else returned with Revan" Zhar pointed out in answer to her questions. "Meetra Surrik, one of the best generals the Revanchists had after Alec" he stated, and it was a statement Dodonna could not refute.
"Yes, I thought that not only did you exile her, but you told us she had lost her force connection" Dodonna countered.
"So, we believed from what we saw when she returned but clearly, she has begun to regain it from what little had been said by Vima before she left, how she rejoined Revan and his people we do not currently know but she has" Kavar admitted with a sigh.
"Confident is Revan, strong is he" Vandar spoke up. "Stronger perhaps than before he was injured, many still follow him not out of fear as with Malak but out of loyalty to their cause" he continued. "How many Revanchists there are left, no not and nor does it matter they still exists and are confident they can destroy Malak and his ilk" he reminded them.
"Why would he be willing to have Mandalorians helping him, why would his people be willing to forget what they did in the war?" Yarrik could not help but ask aloud.
"Killed Mandalore in one-on-one combat did Revan" Vandar answered with a look that told him this should have given him the answer to his own question.
"He claimed the helmet that all Mandalorian leaders have worn since we came into contact with them" Zhar said in sudden understanding. "But rights that makes him the new Mandalore, they would be obligated to follow him" he added.
"Would they follow an outsider?" Tia asked with interest.
"Mandalorians respect nothing but strength, to them Revan beating Mandalore the Ultimate in one-on-one combat would prove he was the stronger and thus worthy of been followed" Zirrik answered having dealt with them many times when he was a younger man. "Whilst we do not know how many Revanchists survive, based on what was countered during the coup it is a substantial number added in with the Mandalorians he must have a large force behind him Admiral one we must take seriously" he told them.
Again, Dodonna was forced to agree with the statement been spoken, could they ill afford to dismiss the potential threat whatever force Revan had under him. As much as it galled her to admit Revan was an able general with a strategic mind, during the war with the Mandalorians he had rarely lost a battle and he had the ability to take a smaller force and still defeat a larger one. Meetra Surrik also processed these skills, and some of those who served under them like Stark were good officers perhaps some of the best the Republic had serve it in some time. The Mandalorians were a warrior race who were canny and unpredictable, as capable at hand-to-hand combat as with ranged combat and thus added to Revan's force made it an even more serious threat.
"Can we find where Revan and his people are?" Valorum asked breaking back into the conversation having stayed silent as the others talked but taking everything that was said in just in case it might prove important.
"We currently have no idea where they are Chancellor nor where to start looking" Tia responded.
"Knowing Revan, they would not be in an obvious and well-travelled system" Dodonna stated. "Even knowing that does not help as there are hundreds of lesser-known systems they could be hiding in until they are ready show themselves again" she pointed out.
"Do you think Vash or Vima could tell us where their fleet is?" Krom asked steepling his hands together.
"Doubtful either would do so" Vandar said in answer with a shake of his head. "Went there in hopes of keeping peace between us, wasted if their position she betrayed" he stated making some of the others nod in agreement.
"So, what do we do?" Valorum finally demanded to know however only silence answered him as none of them really knew the answer.

(Leviathan Class Battleship Revenge)
Vash stared out of the window at the large fleet they were in still stunned by how large it was, how many Revanchists still lived on board those ships? How big had Revan's fleet been before Malak had betrayed him and split it, did the Republic even suspect how big a threat this group still was? She turned to see Vima was still meditating something which she had been doing since she had returned without saying a word about the whether their request to contact the temple had been rejected or accepted. Considering her expression something had seriously angered and disturbed her, she just did know what and at the moment she did not feel comfortable asking.
The sudden blaring of the alarm startled her, and she noticed Vima quickly came out of her meditation trance at the sound, there was no call to battle stations so could not be under attack but clearly something was happening. She turned and headed for the bridge aware of Vima following her, entering the noticed an uptake of activity.
"The general's ship is requesting permission to land" someone said, and she noticed Surrik give a small, relieved smile.
"Give Revan the go ahead he can land on bay seven" Meetra ordered as she noted the presence of the two Jedi masters on the bridge clearly having come to investigate the alarm, she moved over to them. "Revan has returned from Korriban" she informed them.
"That is a relief" Vima said in response. "It is not a planet I would ever want to visit" she added.
"Yet clearly a planet the council would send three Jedi to die" Meetra growled knowing it was unkind to remind Vima of this point as clearly, she had not known about it and that she had known Duron and clearly been upset to learn how he had died but she could not help it.
"Wait what?" Vash asked stunned as she noted the cold glare Vima gave Surrik for what she had said.
"The council sent three Jedi including Duron Qel-Droma to Korriban to supposedly destroy any Terentatek they found as part of the great hunt, they knew by doing so none of them would come back alive" Surrik pressed in answer ignoring the reaction Vima was having to her statements. "They all died there, due to the councils fears and more than likely resentment of what Ulic had done during the Sith wars" she added.
"Enough Surrik" Vima growled herself having had enough of Surrik using this topic as a weapon to show how the council was corrupt. "I understand the implications of what happened to Duron and when we return to Corusant I will find out who was behind this action, because I know for certain my mother would never have sent Duron to such a place so this had to have been done either behind her back or just after she died and before I became a member of the council" she stated coldly.
"Or it was done behind your back" Meetra could not help but point out before she could stop herself and winced at the look Vima gave her.
"I do not remember any records of this" Vash finally said into the silence that followed.
"More than likely destroyed or the mission was never entered into the records" Vima responded bitterly. "Before what we just went through with Atris and Vrook I would never believe such a thing possible, but now it is clear anything is possible even before the coup attempt" she admitted to which Vash reluctantly nodded in agreement much to Meetra secret enjoyment. "What records on Duron I could find say he died on Tatooine tracking down some mercenaries who attacked a Republic Embassy on Manan, when I inquired about this Vrook told me he knew nothing about it but was insistent what was in the records was correct" she admitted.
"We must talk to the council about this Vima, if secrets are being kept from the majority of the council, they must know about it if they do not know about it by now depending on what kind of background search they might have done into Atris and Vrook's actions and perhaps into all council members actions of late" Vash insisted.
"I agree" Revan's voice came from behind them having clearly arrived on the bridge whilst they were talking and listened in on the last bit of their conversation. "The council should realise by now that actions have been taken without their knowledge that was not in their best interests" he stated as he walked over to them with Bastila close behind him having met him in the docking bay. "What happened to Duron and Shaela Nurr and even Saresh might only be the tip of what could have been many avoidable deaths within the order, when you speak to them again remind them not even the council or even the grand master is above the law and they will face punishment in this life or when they join the force as it will the force that judge their actions" he told them making both Vash and Vima shiver at not only at the idea of been judged even if both felt their actions were not in the same league as Atris, Vrook and Kai-El, but also the idea of how many Jedi might have died senseless deaths due to bad orders.
"We will" Vima swore before deciding to change the subject as her emotions of the subject was still too raw and she needed more time to confront them and accept them before they made her do something rash. "What happened on Korriban Revan?" she inquired. "I think every force sensitive felt the shift in the force and how dark it was, what did you do?" she asked again.
Revan smiled grimly before answering with a question of his own. "Did it not strike you as odd once you knew the truth of us still been Jedi and loyal to the republic that we somehow set down on Korriban and even created an academy on it without the Sith spirits rising against us?" he inquired with a raised eyebrow.
Vima and Vash both considered the question and indeed now that they thought about it, it did seem odd that they could do as Revan had said without consequences. Korriban was known to host many of the ancient Sith Spirits who refused to pass on into the force out of fear or anger, it was also known that these spirits were not friendly not even to fellow followers of the dark side so how had the Revanchists set up an academy there without dying?
"How did you manage it Revan?" Vash finally asked the question.
"I offered a deal to the Sith spirits as the enemy we found in the unknown regions was also an enemy of the old Sith Empire and thus a threat to them as they are now" Revan informed them.
"How can this enemy be a threat to force ghosts?" Vash could not help but ask as far she knew it was not possible.
"That is a conversation to have at a later point Vash when there is more trust between us, and I am certain you will not try and relay the information to the council who may then act in haste and bring doom upon us all" Revan responded with a shake of his head much to the two women's frustration. "All you need to know right now is this enemy is a threat to them, that allowed me to make a deal if me and my people looked for and killed any spies or assassins sent by the enemy, we could use Korriban and build the academy" he explained.
"There are enemy agents here in the Republic?" Vima demanded to know suddenly very alert. "Have you found any?" she asked seconds later.
"We have killed nine agents since we have returned, four were just spies sent to gather information not only on Korriban but the Republic the other five were assassins sent to kill certain targets on Korriban" Revan answered but it was noted he did not finish his sentence on who the target of these assassins were or how they intended to kill what they assumed were Sith Spirits considering the targets were on Korriban as Revan refused to tell them how anyone could harm such a thing.
"Revan who is it you are truly fighting?" Vima finally asked staring him in the eyes.
Revan stared back at her for what felt like a lifetime before he finally shook his head. "I am afraid Vima you are still not ready to know, your first instinct would be to alert the council and the Republic when you next talk to them" he told her again frustrating her. "I know you doubt our fears of the consequences of the Jedi and Republic trying to talk to our real enemy, but you have no idea of the utter hatred this enemy has for both and especially the Jedi" he stated coldly. "There can be no peace, no understanding and no compromise" he finished making both Jedi shiver for reasons neither could understand.
Meetra watched both Jedi try and take in what Revan had said before deciding they needed to move off this subject and onto other matters, "We might have a slight problem Revan" she said into the silence gaining his attention. "We have a Sith fleet four systems away searching for us" she informed him.
"Strength of the enemy fleet?" Revan asked instantly going into combat mode.
"One hundred ships, it is believed Malak has split up his fleets into smaller ones to search more space" Meetra answered.
"Put me through to Canderous" he ordered as he moved to the communications station already putting a plan together.
Enrick quickly moved to comply and quickly contacted his counterpart on the Mandalorian ship, he could feel a surge of adrenaline rush through him as he could sense they would soon finally return to action.
"I am listening, Revan" Canderous's voice through loud and clear.
"We have an enemy fleet four systems out and must destroy it, hence we will come at them from all sides" Revan told him. "I want you and your ships to circle around to their northern flank and hit them from there once the word is given but ensure all ships are broadcasting a jamming signal" he instructed. "I want no alert getting out to Malak, once they realise, they've lost contact they will send a search party and it will be more demoralising for them to find nothing but debris than if they get a warning their ships are under attack" he concluded.
"We can do that" Canderous responded, and Revan could tell that the man had a large smile on his face as he spoke. "We will get into position and get ready to attack on your signal" he added before cutting the connection.
"Meetra find Rikka and co-ordinate who would be best to lead the left and right sides of the attack and prepare to split the fleet on my command" Revan ordered glancing at her who nodded and moved to comply leaving the bridge. "Bastila, do you think you are up to utilising your battle meditation for this?" he inquired glancing at her.
"I would have to check with Doctor Vos to make sure I can now use my force powers after the last time" Bastila responded deciding to be cautious after the strain she had put herself under during the fight to put down Atris's coup.
"Then please do so and then return with the answer, timing is of the essence" Revan told her to which she nodded and left the bridge also to head the medical and talk with the Zeltron doctor who had been treating her for her overusing her force powers.
"Do you mind if we stay and observe this Revan?" Vash inquired after a quiet word with Vima who she knew was still angry at the subject of Duron but was choosing to push it aside to focus on what was now happening.
"Be my guest" Revan responded with a smile as he moved to the command station knowing once they destroyed this Sith fleet the Revanchists would truly return to the fires of war.

Zirrik stood staring at the star map in the communication room wondering where Revan and his people were stationed, and just when they would reveal themselves in all their wrath. And it was wrath that would descend on Malak and his followers, and if they were not careful on them as well. He turned back to where the rest of the council as well as the Chancellor and the two generals stood, all were waiting for him to speak.
"Can we ill afford to do nothing" he finally said. "Revan and his people maybe keeping quiet right now, but they will not stay that way long, they will reveal themselves and come down on Malak and his followers with nothing but wrath and the same waits for us if we do not attempt to do as Revan has requested" he stated with resignation. "Yes we risk civil war depending on how we do as requested, but if we do nothing the Republic as it stands will fall to Revan and his people and even if they are loyal what they make of the Republic will not be what it has always has been and we ourselves may find ourselves removed from positions of power or even killed in trying to stop them" he admitted with a tired shake of his head.
Dodonna wanted to argue but found there was nothing she could honestly say that went against Zirrik's depressive view of the situation. She knew better than most how badly the Republic military strength had decayed during the last two wars, worse many of the best and brightest had turned and were either fallen with Malak or remained aligned with Revan and those that remained in the Republic were just not up to the task of fighting against them. Hundreds of ships had been lost in the last year or so during Malak's most relentless assaults, the navy was almost at breaking point. Thus, even if they managed to survive Malak and his Sith, they would not be able to stand against Revan and his fleet if it was large enough and he still had plenty of believers to his cause and as much as she wanted to believe he did not he probably did much to her annoyance.
"But how do we go about it?" Valorum asked once more somewhat fed up with the conversation as it only seemed to rehash the one, they had back in the council chamber, what he needed was a path he could follow that did not tear the Republic apart.
"First we must locate each of the Senators that served during the Mandalorian war and see what orders they gave during it also what else they have been up to that may not be in the best interest of the people and the Republic at large" Zhar suggested calmly. "Once we find these specific senators, we must remove them from office either covertly or expose their illegal dealings, so they are removed by their own people" he continued.
Silence fell once more as they all contemplated the Jedi council members suggestion, each knew the trouble that could befall the Republic if they followed through with it and yet knowing if they did all that would happen is it would give Revan and his people all the needed to restart their war with them and more than likely they would fall to them.
"Is there no other option?" Valorum asked quietly.
"I am afraid none that we can think of Chancellor" Zirrik responded. "If we are to save the Republic from a second assault by the Revanchists then we must take drastic measures" he assured him.
"Admiral Dodonna can this be done without it been found out whilst we investigate my fellow delegates?" Valorum asked.
"I believe so Chancellor" Dodonna replied after thinking it through. "We form a covert unit of the most trusted agents of the intelligence agency and ensure they only report to you" she told him. "When we return, I will go through the files and find those agents we can use, then we give them time to find what we need" she added.
"Time we hopefully have" Tia remarked.

(Leviathan Class Battleship Revenge)
Revan stood on the bridge of his ship watching as the fleet prepared for battle, already the fleet had split three ways to come in from the left and the right of the enemy fleet they were about to destroy with Canderous and his own ships covering the north. The right flank would be commanded by Commander Jack O'Neill, a straightforward thinker but quick under pressure and had quite a good head for strategy. The left would be commanded by Lieutenant commander Samantha Carter, smart and cagey and somewhat risk taker. He had full faith in their abilities, Meetra and Rikka stood beside him ready to relay orders once the battle started. All they waited on was Bastila, hopefully Senna gave her the-all clear thus allowing them to use her abilities to nudge their battle more in their favour. If not, he was confident the destruction of the Sith fleet would be achieved as planned and without them getting a warning off, Malak's people were outnumbered and out classed.
Bastila finally arrived and gave him a quick nod to let him know she could indeed use her force abilities again without causing damage to herself, after she overtaxed herself doing so during the battle to end Atris's coup. Bastila moved to the observation deck and sat down crossed leg and prepared to use her battle meditation for the battle ahead, she briefly felt her bond with Revan open and give her a gentle caress making her shiver pleasantly before it quickly faded. She closed her eyes and focused on the force and felt its light touch fill her, she was ready.
"All fleets prepare to attack" Revan stated over the open comm as he glanced at Meetra and Rikka who both nodded, they had green lights from the other three fleets. "Lauch the attack" he ordered as he watched the ships instantly surge forward once more into the fires of battle.

(Leviathan)
Malak scowled as he watched the stars pass by feeling an itching sense of doom slowly descending on him, he wanted to ignore it, but he knew it meant soon Revan and his cursed followers would show themselves openly and the war would he had been so easily winning would turn all the harder. Hence the reason he had left the Star Forge and reboarded his ship to lead one of the fleets in search of the remaining Revanchists so they could strike first, he wanted to draw first blood once more against Revan and his pathetic believers in his cause. Karath stood just in front of him with his arms seemly relaxed behind him, but Malak could see the slight nervous twitches he suffered every few minutes making him smile at the sense of fear and dread the admiral must be feeling since things began to go wrong.
"My Lord" one of his underlings shouted gaining his attention. "A shuttle has just come out of hyper space and is requesting permission to dock, they state they have a gift for you to be delivered immediately on the orders of Darth Bandon" he reported.
"A gift" Malak mused aloud wondering what his apprentice would dare send him instead of delivering it himself.
He had believed his apprentice was dead and he stiff might be, but perhaps just perhaps the fool had managed to achieve his goal before he had died at Revan's hands, and he was certain Revan would have been the one to kill him. Perhaps the gift was Bastila Shan, he tried to dismiss the idea but found his desire for it to be true too strong.
"Give the pilot permission to land and have him bring this gift straight to me without delay" he finally ordered.
"At once my lord" the underling replied and moved to comply whilst Karath glanced at him nervously before straightening and turning away trying to look confident again making him smile in enjoyment at his show of fear.
Several minutes later two guards entered the bridge escorting the pilot and Malak instantly frowned as he noted the lack of a prisoner either beside him or behind him, instead he carried a simple box and there was something off about the way he was walking but Malak dismissed it and focused on the box wondering what was inside it that Bandon had wanted him to have before he died. Then his frowned deepened that perhaps this was a plot by Bandon to kill him, perhaps a bomb was inside the box and would explode once he opened it. Or it could be some kind of poisonous gas that would kill everyone on the bridge. Was he being paranoid as he was certain Bandon was dead but what if he was not?
"My lord Malak I was ordered to bring this to you under pain of death by Darth Bandon and told to tell you it was a worthy gift for his master" the pilot stated once he stopped in front of him and nodded at him when mentioning Bandon's master.
"What is inside?" he demanded to know his red eyes trying to boar into the man, but he seemed surprisingly unaffected.
"I do not know my Lord as Darth Bandon did not impart that knowledge to me and told me I would suffer a very painful death if I opened the box before delivering it to you" the pilot answered calmly and yet his eyes seemed almost blank making Malak wary, but he sensed no threat here through the force.
"Where is Bandon, why did he not come here to present the gift himself?" he asked as he hand inched down to grasp his lightsaber hilt.
"I do not know my Lord Malak" the pilot replied with a carless shrug that instantly made Malak angry, but he held himself in check.
"Karath open the box and tell me what is inside" Malak ordered the admiral and almost smiled at the look of dread and the large gulp that came over the older man. "Do not test my patience admiral, do as I command" he ordered.
Karath pulled at the front of his uniform wanting to be anywhere but where he was right now, but he could not escape with Malak giving him a direct order and a dire threat should he disobey him. Taking a deep breath, he stepped forward and took hold of the lid of the box, he could feel himself sweating as his fear spiked that this box could be a bomb or something else just as lethal which is perhaps why he was been ordered to open the damn thing. He cursed Bandon for putting him in this position, finally noting the darkening look in Malak's eyes at his delay he opened the box. Thankfully the thing did not explode and neither did anything come out of it like gas, he peered inside and instantly turned pale as he saw the lifeless eyes of Darth Bandon staring at him from a very blood covered head. He instantly backed away knowing how Malak would react to this, he turned and headed for the door. Malak snarled as he watched the Admiral flee after turning grey, something was wrong but at least there was no bomb or deadly gas within thus he stepped forward and looked inside to find his apprentice's dead face staring back at him.
For a moment he stared into Bandon's lifeless eyes before they seemed to turn dark yellow and he let out a cry of rage even as the pilot spoke again, this time Malak could see that the man's eyes were completely absent of his inner self. He was all but a puppet, his mind crushed and reshaped by someone wanting to use him, he snarled as he realised this meant Revan's powers and his ability to touch the dark side truly were still intact.
"General Revan commanded me to tell you Alec that your time is almost at an end, your betrayal and the betrayal of those you killed in your coup will be repaid and everyone who follows you will follow you into the darkness of death" the pilot stated his tone now cold as ice as the bridge crew stared at him in horror including the two guards who had their weapons aimed at the man but did not know whether to fire or not. "The dark side will not save you from him, he is coming the Lord of Revenge, and the fires of hell come with him" the pilot added before trailing off clearly his message delivered.
Malak's gaze darkened even more as the pilot used his former name to address him, Revan's message, and his use of his Sith title to intimidate him made him shiver slightly before he suppressed it. His blade ignited as he pulled his lightsaber from his belt, its red beam coating his face and making him look like a demon. The pilot did nothing to defend himself and just stared at him with a dark smile, he opened his mouth again.
"I am coming for you Alec" he stated just before Malak swung his lightsaber in a single powerful arc cutting the man's head from his shoulder which bounced on the deck as it landed as the headless body fell backwards the wound smoking after been cauterized.
A brief pause fell on the bridge as most watched the smoking corpse collapse, but soon shouts of alarm and cries of pain soon rang out as Malak continued his rampage as his anger and rage overwhelmed his self-control. The impaled one of the guards before quickly twisting sideways and cutting the other in two, he forced jumped to the doors several of the bridge crew were running towards and unleashed a barrage of force lightening on them. The three women and five men screamed in agony as the lightning struck them, they collapsed to the ground jerking wildly, one tried to stand up, but he was quickly gutted by Malak who then began to slaughter the others as they tried to stand or run despite their bodies screaming in pain.
In seconds all of them were dead, some of them missing limbs or cut into multiple pieces. Malak eyed the few who remained who had tried to hide instead of run, he stormed to each of them their life forces easily detected through the force and started to butcher them as well. Most begged for their life, pleaded for mercy but their pleas fell on deaf ears. He decapitated one in one swift stroke, two fell from simple slashes before he impaled another with a strike straight to the heart. Another fell screaming with both his arms and legs missing, Malak ended his agony with a downward strike into his head, more fell as Malak continued his carnage uncaring that he was massacring his own crew. Malak paused as he stared around the deserted bridge, he frowned as he sensed one more life sign through the force still alive. Grinning almost madly he walked over to the life support system to find a man cowering beside it having clearly given in to his fear, Malak felt the dark side stronger than ever as he stared down at the coward before trusting his lightsaber right through him ending his whimpering.
Malak deactivated his blade and stared around him at the carnage could almost feel the power of the dark side grow stronger within him with what he had done, it was also helping him regain control of himself. Turning he headed for the communication system, idly he again found amusement and grudging admiration for Karath's sense of self preservation. The older man had fled the bridge as soon as he had known what was in the box knowing it would not be well received by him, stopping he stared down to see Bandon's head on the floor staring up at him almost in accusation.
"You were weak, and you were foolish and overconfident Bandon and you deserved to die" Malak said as if his former apprentice could still hear him. "You were not worthy of been my apprentice especially as I am certain it was Revan who killed you" he added before putting his boot on the head and pushing with all his might downwards until the head seemed to crumble slightly making blood pool out.
Satisfied he continued to the communication system and activated it. "Admiral Karath report to the bridge with a new bridge crew now I have killed the traitors who attempted a mutiny" he ordered.
Seconds later the older man responded. "At once my lord" he replied.
Five minutes later the Admiral returned with a new bridge crew all who looked scared and intimidated, but they took their stations, Karath paused as he looked down and saw the crushed head of Bandon in a pool of blood. He shivered before he took in the bodies that littered the bridge and the states they were in, clearly Malak had truly lost control and slaughtered them all as painfully as possible. He felt relieved he had left the bridge once he realised it was Bandon's head in the box, he shuddered before reporting to Malak's side.
"Once again you show why I chose you as my senior Admiral" Malak said with amusement with no sign of his show of rage showing. "You value your life highly, now dispose of Bandon's head and have this bridge cleaned up before I return" he continued making Karath want to show his sense of disgust of touching the decapitated head even as Malak seemed to grin even more at him even with his metal jaw before swiftly leaving the bridge.
Karath watched him go with a brief feeling of relief before turning to look at Bandon's decapitated head and wondering how to dispose of it, he knew if he had someone else do it, he would be punished as there were cameras on the bridge hence Malak could check to see if he had complied with his orders. Grabbing some gloves of one of the cleaners who were trying to remove the other bodies and put them on, then with a deep breath he moved to try and remove the head. But even as he focused on the task, he wondered how much longer his luck would hold, Malak was getting closer and closer to loosing his sanity and constantly killing people when he did loose control. So far, he had been able to escape these slaughters, but he worried sooner or later he was going to die if Revan continued to elude Malak and do things that cost them men and ships like on Korriban.

(Felucia)
Regina and Enrik watched as the ship carrying the Master and Knight the council had dispatched to help them, they had sent a brief message to them to divert here but not the reason. She supposed the Master would be somewhat put out by the lack of information, she could have landed on Elom, but she wanted a bit more distance from Korriban and Stenos after what had happened. Revan had told them that Korriban was now a world devoid of life although not how this came to be, but she suspected the reason he had been on Stenos was he had been on Korriban and caused whatever had happened to make the planet lifeless. Staying on Stenos had been asking for trouble after been attacked by Jedi hunters, an attack they had only survived thanks to Revan and his team's help. Elom, she felt was just too close for her comfort, so she had come here, if they were followed however slim there were plenty of places to hide.
She straightened as the ramp of the ship descended and the Master and Knight walked down it, she did not recognise the Master, but she knew the Knight. She had participated in a mission to hunt down a band of pirates and Hanso Jinn had been a member of her team. She did not know him well, but she did recognise him, the Master had a stern look to his face.
"Knight Taloure I am Master Azrial, and this is my padawan Knight Jinn who I believe you know" the man said in greeting once close enough.
"Master Azrial, I apologise for the detour but staying on Stenos was a death sentence after we were attacked by Jedi hunters just after we caught our target" Regina responded.
"Were you not instructed to wait until we arrived before attempting to capture your target Knight Taloure?" Azrial inquired his stern face looking all the sterner.
"Yes, Master however I was very concerned that by the time you arrived our target would have either discovered our presence on the planet, gained help from any of the bounty hunters, killers or whoever else he could, or worse case leave the planet thus making finding him again almost impossible" Regina attempted to explain their reasons for disobeying their orders.
"And you managed to capture him and survive an assault by a group of Sith Jedi hunters on your own?" Azrial questioned.
"No, Master we did not" Regina responded with a shake of her head. "After talking to the council, I decided to ask Revan and his party for help, help which they gave willingly, and it is only because they did help, we survived the attack by the hunters" she informed him not really knowing how this would go down with the man depending on his view of Revan.
Azrial grunted at hearing the younger Jedi had dared ask Revan the former dark lord of the Sith for help, he did not believe the stories going round that Revan had never been a Sith, but he knew better than to voice such thoughts. For now, a peace existed between the Jedi/Republic and the forces still had following him, he also understood that upsetting that peace was not something that would benefit them and thus he would not raise his doubts openly. He was not the only one with doubts, many of his fellow Jedi had been wounded during the coup and felt this showed Revan had wanted to cause as much pain as possible without killing them to try and deceive them until Malak was dealt with and then he would show his true colours and come for them next.
That this young Jedi had felt she could trust Revan and his people to back them up was disconcerting, but he decided not to try and reprimand her right now. Those who disagreed with the council's stance bar Kavar who still voiced concern about Revan had been arrested and put in the cells with Vrook and Kai-El, whilst Atris was on the run supposedly having turned to the dark side. Again, he had doubts about this, he had always had the upmost respect for Atris and her long service to the Jedi. He felt it a disservice to her that her name had been struck from the records, but again he could do nothing about it and speaking against it might make them think he agreed with her actions and arrest him.
"I see, well you have your target I suggest we return to Corusant" he finally said in response. "The council will be eager for your report" he added before turning and heading back to his ship missing the apologetic shrug Jinn gave Regina who just nodded before she and Enrik headed for their own ship wondering what the council would say about working with Revan and his people.

(Cruiser Pride of Mandalore)
Canderous watched from the bridge as his fleet came out of the hyperspace only seconds behind the Revanchists three attack wings, instantly all four wings opened fire on the unsuspecting Sith fleet. In seconds he watched three destroyers and a battleship explode in fiery balls of flame causing him to smile, it had been so long since he had been in a proper space battle.
"Are we jamming them?" he asked turning to Sehan.
"Yes Mandalore, all ships began jamming as soon as we dropped out of hyperspace".
"Good" Canderous responded as he wanted to ensure everything went to Revan's plan and to prove to his people the Mandalorians could be worthy allies.
Another battleship exploded even as it tried to move out of the line of fire, his own ship rocked slightly as several bolts struck their shields, but they held. He wondered what other surprises the ship had considering it had been loaned to him by Revan and clearly had been created by the Star Forge, he watched another destroyer explode as it tried to ram into a nearby battleship. He shook his head at the desperate move, clearly the Sith were panicking at the unexpected assault.

Krynn Narlson a Corellian Sith slowly climbed back to his feet and ignored the blood running down his face as he watched his fleet fall apart, the attack had come out of nowhere and already he had lost several ships including one to an attempted suicide run. His people were losing their self-control, especially as they probably knew Revan their former leader was leading this assault. Even if he was certain Lord Malak had tried to keep the information from getting out, it was now widely known that Revan had survived the betrayal as had many of their former comrades. They had been so certain their sudden betrayal had killed all the Revanchists, but they had been very wrong and now that error had come back to haunt them.
"Send out a distress call immediately, if we can alert Lord Malak and the other fleets engaged in searching for the Revanchists, we can destroy them all here and now if we can engage and hold them long enough for help to arrive" he ordered.
Seconds later he got a reply he did not want to hear. "I can't get a signal out Captain; all the enemy ships have engaged jamming, and we are surrounded" Paulson told him already sounding panicked.
"Frak" he cursed even if he should have suspected Revan would not leave an opening for them to get a call for help out to the rest of their forces and especially not Lord Malak. "Contact the Arklight and order them to try and break out and signal help" he ordered knowing it was their only hope as the Arklight was the smallest and quickest ship in his fleet and the one chance they had of breaking through the enemy fleets surrounding them.
"Aye captain" Paulson responded and quickly hunkered down to do as he had been ordered and hoped the Arklight had not yet been destroyed.

Revan watched the battle unfold with a calm sense of purpose; all four parts of the fleet had hit within a second of each other giving them the advantage. All four had opened fire instantly destroying several ships before the fools who followed Malak could respond, and even now they were alert and trying to fight back they were gaining no traction.
"General, one of the Sith ships is trying to squeeze through the left fleet" Zidane Eniko reported from his position at tactical. "It is a small destroyer but fast, it might be able to slip through the cracks of the wider battle" he informed him.
"Contact Carter and tell her to ensure that ship is destroyed" Revan ordered instantly. "No ship is to make it through out lines" he added to which Zidane nodded and moved to comply.
Revan suspected whoever was commanding this fleet had decided the small and fast ship was the quickest asset they processed that might be able to make it through the enemy lines and send a signal for help, not a bad idea he thought but only useful if it could slip by unnoticed and it had been noticed hence its chances were slim to none as long as Carter reacted to his orders fast enough. Each fleet had a mix of battleships, cruisers, carriers, and destroyers so Carter had plenty of options open to her to ensure that ships destruction and he had faith in her that she would succeed in carrying out his order.

Samantha Carter was busy observing her wing of the fleet when the orders from General Revan came in, frowning she moved to the tactical station had it find the small ship trying to skim through their lines. She almost missed it until Jensen pointed it out to her, scowling she noticed it was close to passing between the Glaive and the Midas and if it got behind them then it would be lost in the sea of the ships behind them. Letting out a curse she moved to communications system manned by Gibbs after ordering Jensen to send the data onwards.
"Order the Glaive and Midas to focus fire on that damn ship at all costs" she ordered before moving back to her own chosen post nearby main window.
"Yes mam" Gibbs responded eagerly enjoying finally been able to get some revenge on the traitors who had betrayed them and killed so many of his friends.
Carter watched as best she could as she small ship got closer and closer to getting in between the Glaive and Midas, both ships opened fire on it, and she was satisfied to see the shields of the small ship buckle quickly under the assault of the much larger ships before exploding in a fireball ensuring there would be no calls for help getting out. A second destroyer which had been trailing the now destroyed ship also exploded as it was caught in the crossfire, she nodded satisfied the threat was dealt with.
"Send word to the General the threat has been dealt with and we will keep an eye out for any other attempts to slip by us" she ordered before turning her attention to the all-out firefight going on the between a group of her own battleships and a large group of the Sith's battleships.

(Revanchist Battleship Prometheus)
Jack O'Neill watched with pure satisfaction and pride as his fleet wing destroyed ship after ship, he had told them to be relentless and they were doing just that. All of them had lost friends and in some cases lovers in the betrayal perpetrated by Malak and his fellow traitors and they all wanted revenge for that fact. He was no exception; he had lost many friends and even his lover when her ship was overtaken by the traitors. He had watched as it exploded clearly caused by an overload by those loyal to Revan and the cause, who would rather die than let the traitors have it.
"Commander, a large wing of enemy ships is approaching" Daniel Korson reported from tactical. "Five battleships and three cruisers" he added with a quick look to him and back to his screen.
"They must have discerned this is the capital ship for this side of the attack" O'Neill mused to himself. "Order the ships beside us to focus on the approaching ships, tell our fighters to help shield us and attack when possible and tell our own weapons to focus fire on their lead ship" he ordered calmly.
"Understood sir" Mitchel Walker said before relaying the instructions.
O'Neill watched as dozens of blaster bolts ripped through space and straight into the enemy ships, including the battleship leading the charge, its shields flickered wildly, and he smirked as he imagined the chaos it was causing on the enemy bridge. He felt no remorse for the traitors, as he felt they all deserved to die for what they had done, and he doubted the General would fault their feelings on this matter if they did not allow those feelings to interfere in the mission or in their loyalty to the Revanchists.
Two of the enemy battleships exploded even as one of his own clearly suffered heavy damage and requested permission to fall back which he granted, he wondered who was commanding the enemy fleet and if he had known him.
"Focus more fire on those ships" he ordered.
"Aye commander" Mitchel responded before moving to comply.
The concentration of fire got heavier, and several more enemy ships exploded even as their command vessel bore down on his own, he shook his head and ordered all fire focused on it and watched in grim satisfaction as it too exploded once its shields buckled. He noted several bodies floating in the debris but again felt no remorse, they had chosen their side and they had chosen wrong.

Krynn growled as he watched his only real hope of getting a call for help exploded in a hail of blaster bolts taking a second destroyer with it, the bridge shuddered as their own shields were hammered. The left and right wings of the enemy were closing in, his ships have been overwhelmed far too easily, the numbers were against them and even their best battleships paled in comparison to those the Revanchists had especially the lead one which he assumed was Revan's own command ship. It was the same make as Malak's if he remembered although if had been dark lord of the Sith, or at least pretending to be that he would have made sure his ship was better armed and armoured.
"Captain, our shields are failing" Paulson said coughing badly from the smoke rising on the bridge. "Our right flank is all but crushed and the left is buckling even now, we have no escape" he informed him.
Krynn let out a curse and glared at Revan's command ship before giving an order he knew meant his fleet's death all the quicker but perhaps he could earn some glory before dying.
"Order all remaining ships and fighters if any to fire on Revan's battleship, the big one in the southern sector" he ordered.
"Aye sir relaying orders now" Paulson said only for seconds later the entire communications station to explode sending Paulson flying into the nearby hull where he slumped down with blood trailing down behind him. Krynn let out another curse hoping the managed to send out the new orders before the station exploded, he turned just as his ships shields finally buckled and the last thing, he saw was a flash of fire and light and he managed to let out one final yell of denial before he died.

(Leviathan Class Battleship Revenge)
Revan listened as Meetra informed him that half of the enemy fleet had been destroyed, much to his satisfaction. He noticed several of the enemy ships close to his own were trying to move closer to focus fire on it, he shook his whilst a valid strategy and one he had used before it was useless without a clear path to your target and the numbers to quickly overwhelm said target.
"Meetra, several ships are trying to bear down on us have our escort cruisers and battleships intercept them" he ordered just to ensure no one of them got of a lucky shot.
"Understood Revan" Meetra calmy responded feeling back in her element after so long confined to an exile where she could do nothing but fight to survive, her connection to the force seemed to be fully back now as well.
Revan knew Malak had gotten his present by now as the disturbance in the force could only have come from him, he wondered what his old friend had felt as he stared into the dead eyes of his so-called apprentice. What reaction had he provoked from Malak, he could make a guess that it was somewhat a deathly reaction for anyone near him. The sudden rocking of the ship brought him back to the matter at hand, he glanced to where Bastila was to ensure she was okay and find to his relief she was fine and still in a meditative pose utilising her battle meditation.
"General, both the left and right flanks of the enemy fleet have been all but annihilated and the Mandalorians have wiped out the northern end" Rikka reported with a smile which he returned as he was not currently wearing his mask. "These are the last part of the enemy fleet left" she stated.
"Excellent, have all wings close in and continue to wipe out these traitors Rikka" Revan ordered knowing whilst they might have lost a couple of fighters, he doubted they had lost any ships as they had the overwhelming numbers on their side.
"Yes, General relaying orders now" Rikka replied.
Revan watched as the other wings of the fleet closed in ensuring never to leave a gap in their lines for anything to slip through, ships exploded one after the other leaving nothing but wreckage and bodies floating in the void. He felt no sorrow for these deaths no matter how grim their ends had been, they had chosen to betray the Revanchists and the cause They had chosen to murder and pillage and perhaps even worse to sate their own lusts for power for wealth and for other things, he would show them no mercy and he doubted any of the others would either. More ships exploded as the other wings closed in, the enemy fighters easily spotted due to their colouring tried desperately to avoid their counter parts but to no avail as he knew they were been led by Captain Tarkin one of the best pilots to come out of Republic navy academy.
Soon only four ships remained, and they instantly tried to plead for mercy, and he noted at this that Vima and Vash who had watched the battle silently turn to look at him, as if judging what his response to this would be and how it might reflect their view of him. He did not care right now what they thought of him, this was not about pride or glory or even proving where he stood in the war no this was about repaying the blood debt Malak's Sith had reaped from them.
He nodded to Organa at the communications station who put on an open frequency. "There is no mercy for traitors and oath breakers" he stated coldly. "Finish them" he ordered as Vima shook her head whilst Vash at least looked like she understood why he had given the order he had.
Vima indeed was disappointed that Revan had not granted mercy to those who had asked for it as it did not bode well for the future she felt, but she did understand why he had not granted it. Those who had died in the coup, Revan and his people wanted revenge for those lost she could understand it but did not condone it. Vash knew instantly why the request had been denied, Revan was a man who felt deeply and those he had led into the Mandalorian war and then into the outer rim he had cared for. To have so many of them slaughtered by those they had trusted, who they had fought beside for so long must really twist the Revanchists and Revan especially. They watched as the four ships exploded one by one causing more debris and bodies to float in the void, soon the last few enemy fighters exploded as well leaving nothing, but a debris field littered with bodies of the dead.
"Put me on fleet wide" Revan said as he nodded his head at the outcome. "This is Revan, good work all of you, this is just the first step on our path of retribution on those who betrayed us, and it was a good first step in making our alliance with the Mandalorians work and I congratulate them as well" he continued. "I want all our dead if any accounted for before we return move on to our next location, we will be gone before Malak sends anyone to check why this fleet has gone silent" he finished before he signalled for the channel to be closed.
He felt Bastila stop her battle meditation and finally open her eyes looking relieved the battle was over, she slowly stood and stretched before instantly seeking his gaze. He nodded at her and hoped his eyes showed his pride and thankfulness for aiding them, she smiled back before looking away not wanting the two Jedi masters to see just how deep their connection was now. She walked over the window and looked out at the scene of destruction she had help cause, she did not feel guilty although she felt she should but then she remembered these men and women had betrayed their comrades and murdered them. They had also caused great lose of life throughout the Republic, they did not deserve her pity or for her to feel guilty for killing them.
"Getting casualty numbers now General, we lost ten fighters in the dog fighting between fighters and so far, we lost seven crew members spread out on three ships" Rikka reported with a grim expression on her face.
"Make sure they have proper send offs Rikka" Revan responded feeling the weight of each death just added to those who had already fallen following him.
Meetra came up beside him on one side and Bastila on the other, both sensing how he was feeling. All three remained close as the rest of the crew went about their duties, Vima and Vash left the bridge to talk about what they had just witnessed and what to tell the council of what they had learnt not just about the battle but the death of Korriban and the fact there were enemy spies in the Republic. They also had to discuss what to tell the council about the fates of Duron and his group, and the idea that many unknown missions might have been swept by them.

Canderous looked out in satisfaction at the destruction they had just helped cause, even as Revan talked over the comms congratulating them and talking about strengthening their alliance, he felt pride once more in his people. Once more they were on the right path, not the cursed path Cassius Fett had put his people on after the massacre on Cathar. He wondered where the piece of slime and his followers were hiding, having disappeared near the end of the war just before Revan had defeated Mandalore the Ultimate and his elite bodyguards in single combat. Was the man dead or was he in hiding waiting for a time to reveal himself once more, how many demented members of their people still followed him?
"Mandalore, we lost thirteen people total" Sehan reported, and he nodded in satisfaction at such a small loss of life.
"Excellent news Sehan, it begins with a glorious victory, and this is just the beginning" Canderous mused aloud. "Send that report to Revan's ship and request to know where we are heading next, there are still many of our people out there waiting to join us" he ordered.
"Yes Mandalore" Sehan nodded in understanding before turning and moving to do as he had been ordered wondering how things would play out and how many more of their people would come.
Canderous turned away and headed away from the bridge with Jango following close behind him acting as his guard, he felt anticipation for the battles to come.

(Jedi Temple)
The council were surprised to be contacted by Vima and Vash, having feared that Revan would want to keep their movements and choices to themselves. But clearly Revan was not going to keep them sequestered from the outside world, Zirrik wondered what news this message would deliver, perhaps an answer as to what Revan was doing on Stenos and if it had any connection to what they had felt in the force before that.
"Vima, Vash it good to hear from you" he said in greeting as both women appeared on the screen with Revan standing just behind them looking quite satisfied for some reason. "You have news?" he inquired wondering what had happened to make Revan look so.
"We do Zirrik" Vima said tightly in response. "Much news, first off the Revanchists have finally revealed themselves in full and destroyed one of Malak's fleets consisting of one hundred ships" she reported.
"It was all but a slaughter, jammed from all sides and encircled they were wiped out piece meal" Vash commented voicing her view of the battle. "Revan's fleet of remaining ships is huge, we're not sure now many there are but it is bigger than anything we can field, and it has been augmented by the Mandalorians they are allied with" she informed them.
"Force" Kavar could not help but say as he imagined such a force coming for them all.
"It was a good first strike" Revan stated his reason for been satisfied now revealed. "More will follow, the Revanchists have returned to the fires of war and retribution will follow on all traitors" he added.
"Second is that the Sith academy and star port on Korriban has been cleansed of all life, it is now once more only a planet for the ancient Sith Spirits" Vima informed them making the rest of the council stare at her in shock that the capital of the Sith Empire had been wiped of all life was shocking to them.
"How?" Master Yarrik asked as he fought his shock.
"I led a mission there to remove Korriban from Malak's crutches, I asked for the Sith spirits aide in this matter and once I killed Malak's apprentice Bandon they rose up and killed everyone on the planet" Revan answered calmly showing his felt no remorse for this.
"Why would the Sith spirits do anything you ask?" Master Savanna demanded to know. "In fact, how if what you told us is true about where your true loyalty lies, how did you set up an academy and star port at all?" he asked making Revan smile as they finally asked this question.
He gave a quiet chuckle before relaunching his story about how he had set up a deal with the Sith Spirits on Korriban and such a thing was possible, to say the council was just as disturbed as Vima and Vash had been at the idea of enemy spies and assassins even if they did not who the true enemy was in Republic space. The council looked between themselves wondering just who it was that Revan, and his people were truly fighting, what was it about this mysterious enemy that made them fear them.
"Was it truly necessary for all of them to die Revan?" Master Sully asked with distaste at what he had been told had happened. "Some of them were more than likely not Sith just working with them" he pointed out.
"Exactly, they were working with Malak and his people and helping them destroy the Republic" Revan countered. "They did not deserve to live; they chose their side, and this is war and in war sacrifice and death is a certainty" he stated coldly.
"They would have gladly tortured and murdered all of you" Meetra Surrik said as she joined the conversation standing beside Revan. "And do not forget all the people there aided in the killing or maiming in this war; they do not deserve your pity" she told them.
Again, the council exchanged looks between themselves before reluctantly facing this fact, whoever had been on Korriban had been willing to help them kill, maim and so much else and thus feeling pity for their fate was counterproductive to them winning this war. It was a fact they enjoyed facing, but it was a fact they could ignore to win this war more people were going to die before it was over.
"You said you killed Darth Bandon?" Yarrik inquired deciding to move the conversation onwards.
"Indeed, so Yarrik" Revan confirmed. "He thought waiting for us to arrive on Korriban he could use us having to explore the tombs to his advantage to weaken me, in this he was greatly mistaken as I needed to get into the tombs to make my deal with the Sith spirits" he explained. "He also made the mistake of believing I would take Bastila to Korriban with me, he expected to just take her once we were dead but none of his plans worked not only because I can walk in the dark side and use it without falling, but I also had allies on Korriban who have prepared for our arrival" he went on. "We also had back up to help us escape, Bandon was a fool who let his anger and rage overwhelm him as to make him blind to the truth, he could not beat me and nor was he taking Bastila his arrogance and stupidity got him killed and I sent his head to Malak to ensure he knew retribution was coming" he told them.
"The dark foreboding, we sensed in the force was the fall of Korriban and then Malak receiving Bandon's head" Zhar surmised.
"Indeed" Revan agreed with a nod of his head. "Both actions will have seriously undermined Malak's position in the eyes of his followers possibly inspiring some of them to challenge him" he informed them. "Whilst I do not expect any to be able to slay him, it will keep him off balance and make him prone to errors" he added his reasoning.
"And what if someone does manage to kill Malak?" Kavar demanded to know.
"Highly unlikely even half insane with rage Malak is stronger and more powerful than any of his followers" was all Revan would say in response.
"Is there anything else we should know Vima?" Zirrik inquired having listened quietly to all that was been said.
"Revan found the remains of three Jedi on Korriban when he first came here Zirrik" Vima began doing his best not to let her anger get the better of her whilst discussing this. "They had been sent by the council to supposedly destroy the last Terentatek during the great hunt, one of those Jedi was Duron Qel-Droma the last member of the Qel-Droma family the last chance to redeem the name in the eyes of the Jedi and wider galaxy and he was sent to die for the supposed sins of Ulic" she growled losing the battle not to let anger at this show once more. "My mother would never have sent Duron to such a place, and I knew nothing of any such mission and the records state he died on Tatooine, when I confronted Vrook on the matter he stated the records told the truth of what happened to him and the others, but he lied" she told them bitterly.
"It is our belief Zirrik that if such a hidden mission could have happened once and ended with three dead Jedi which we knew nothing about, then how many more Jedi have died on such missions that we know nothing about because one of our fellow council members sent them secretly" Vash interrupted knowing if Vima continued, she might lose more of her control.
The council exchanged looks between themselves at this news although they also worried how this revelation was affecting Vima, most of them knew her history with Ulic Qel-Droma and Duron himself. This was now the second secret mission they had learned about that taken place off the books as it were, no real records and no knowledge of it within the council.
"This is not a surprise to us Vima, we were recently contacted by a Jedi we believed dead only to find she had been sent on a mission after a dangerous convict by Vrook" Zirrik admitted wondering how deep the rot went. "She encountered Revan who happened to be on Stenos at that time, although why we did not know why until now and tried to apprehend him, thankfully Revan did not kill her for her choice" he explained.
"I stopped there to send a message to Malak, and he clearly did not enjoy it" Revan told them with a twisted smile deciding to give them the reason he was on Stenos.
"The message, what was it" Vandar finally asked breaking his long silence.
"I sent him Bandon's head along with a message that retribution was coming for him and all who had followed him, that he could not escape just as I already stated." Revan answered.
The council exchanged unsure and in some disgust at such a vulgar and distasteful act, however they kept such thoughts to themselves. Revan could see their reactions to his actions and cared nothing for them, he would do whatever it took to bring Malak down and weakening his position and stoking his rage so he could not think straight were all things that would help bring his former friend down.
"Who was the Jedi Vrook sent?" Vash asked hoping to divert the conversation from such a sensitive topic.
"Regina Taloure and a guardian called Enrik" Zhar answered. "Both are still on Stenos we believe awaiting the arrival of Master Azrial and Knight Jinn so they can apprehend their target" he informed them.
"Did you say Regina Taloure" Bastila said as she joined the conversation as well. "She was in my padawan class, we grew up, side by side until we were assigned to our respective Masters" she added. "What happened on Stenos Revan?" she asked turning to him.
"Your friend was unsurprisingly surprised to encounter me on Stenos and thus as stated tried to arrest me, we fought a brief duel where I tried to get her to expand her view of the force and her connection to it" Revan answered with a smile. "I told her how things stood and suggested she talk to the council, once she had done that, she came to me and asked for my and my teams help in securing her target as she feared in the time the help sent arrived their target would escape, and I agreed to help" he informed them all but was mostly speaking to Bastila. "Just after we captured her target, we were attacked by a team of Sith Jedi hunters, but we managed to slay them all" he continued. "Had we not been on Stenos to help it is clear Regina and Enrik would have died, and the force wanted them to survive for reasons I do not understand but it is clear they have a role to play in what is to come" he finished.
Everyone exchanged looks as they absorbed what Revan had told them and what possible reason the force had wanted Regina Taloure and Enrik to survive, what possible role could they play if any in what was happening. Bastila was relieved her friend was alive and well, even more so that Revan had agreed to help her.
"She did not have permission to ask for your help, she was told to wait for help to arrive" Kavar could not help saying not happy the young Jedi had reached out to Revan of all people to ask for help.
"She exercised independent thought to realise her target may not stay on Stenos and leave, if that happened the chances to locating him again were slim" Revan countered. "She had been told of the truce between us and thus had every right to ask for my help, she did not need your permission to do so" he added.
"No, she did not" Bastila agreed.
"She secured her target Kavar and that is enough, and I am certain Azrial and Jinn have reached them by now" Zirrik said cutting off whatever Kavar was about to say in response.
Kavar looked away chastised by the way the grand master had cut him off before he could even speak, he realised his mistrust of Revan was showing even though he was doing his best to suppress it, but he could not help but be cautious where the man was concerned even with all that had happened, and they had learnt.
"Back to the topic at hand Zirrik, I believe a systematic survey into the records of all Jedi council members going back to when my mother was the grand master should be conducted" Vima suggested wanting to move on and not interested in the fact that Kavar was clearly pushing things where Revan was concerned.
For what must have been the third or fourth time the council members exchanged glances between themselves at this unprecedented move put forth by Vima Sunrider, never had such an option been suggested before. Then again Zirrik thought never had council members tried to launch a coup or hide missions from the grand master, considering Vima's emotional ties to one of those illegal missions and the knowledge Vrook had a hand perhaps in both known missions this was something they needed to know to fix a problem they realised they had.
"Perhaps such a move is needed so we can find out how deep the rot has spread; how bad I and my predecessors have let our grip on the council fail" he finally said. "But such a review will take time Vima, and at the moment we have a war to win" he pointed out.
"I know that Zirrik believe me I do but we need to do this before anything else happens that breaks the council completely" Vima insisted in response.
After thinking it over and knowing it might be not a well-liked choice, he decided they needed to know what else may have been done behind their backs. "Very well Vima, the council will begin to look into the records of all council members in the allotted time frame" he agreed finally surprising some of the newer members of the council but those who had been members before and after the coup. "However, we will start with the records of Vrook, Kai-El and even she who has been removed from the records as so far they are still to be deleted" he informed her and Vash who both nodded in agreement.
"As an aside to this investigation Zirrik I would also ask that you look into mission Jedi who were on missions on planets connected to the Hutts" Bastila rejoined the conversation with a dark look on her face. "On Tatooine, the females members of the group were captured by a Hutt to be made slaves, when we tried to use our status as Jedi to get it to release us it laughed and mentioned how it and others of its kind had enslaved Jedi before and never felt any consequences for it" she explained as Revan reached out and put a comforting hand on her shoulder as he knew the experience had not been pleasant for Bastila and still disturbed her.
"Disturbing is this information" Vandar responded with a shake of his head.
"Greatly so old friend" Zhar agreed looking pale at this news wondering how many of their missing Jedi had ended up enslaved by the Hutts without their knowledge.
"I suggest heavily that you do look into this matter Zirrik, you know very well no one in this fleet responds well to slavery and to refuse to do as asked would only make you complicit in it by default" Revan stated coldly.
"We will indeed look into this as well Revan" Zirrik assured him as he knew exactly what Revan was saying was a threat just without using that exact word in his statement.
"Then for now we are finished, we will contact you again when we have more news to report" Vima said before cutting contact before any of them could respond.
"I have grave concerns over how Vima was acting" Kavar stated into the silence. "Her anger over Qel-Droma's fate was disturbing, unworthy of a Jedi council member especially for a Jedi of questionable allegiance" he added.
"Be very careful Kavar this is the second topic you have broached with motives of clear mistrust" Zhar cautioned. "Yes Ulic Qel-Droma fell to the dark side and became a Sith Lord but that did not mean his entire bloodline was cursed to do so, many of his ancestors we loyal Jedi and as far as know so was Duron" he stated. "And your mistrust of Revan whilst not hostile so far could lead you down the same path as Vrook and the others, be cautious yes but do not let it eat you up inside as it did them" he finished.
"Agreed, you do not help our case by acting in such a way when we converse with Revan and his people" Zirrik added before Kavar could respond. "Things stand on a knife edge between us and the Revanchists, and now they are allied with the Mandalorians the threat is all the more dangerous to us and the Republic" he told them all hoping to head off any more clashes between either side. "As for how Vima was acting, her experiences with Ulic and Duron are deep and to learn such a fate had befallen one who was so close to her without her knowledge must have been shocking no matter that she is a Jedi council member" he continued.
Kavar stayed silent even if part of him knew Zirrik and Zhar were correct about how close to the edge they were in this war, still part of him could not completely let go of his distrust of Revan and those that followed him. He stayed sitting as the council broke up, thankfully he had never sent any Jedi on any missions without following procedure, but he wondered what might be found in the other council members files past and present.

Revan was plotting where the fleet would move to next whilst idly wondering whether the council would do either of the things they had agreed to do, hopefully Zirrik would not ignore the wake-up call that the coup had been. The council needed cleansing just as much as the Senate did, too much corruption in both.
"General, a shuttle has just come out of hyperspace" Rikka reported after getting the warning from Genya who was watching the sensors. "It is one of ours but according to records it is part of the fleet we left on Malachor" she informed him making him instantly turning and move to the comm station.
"The shuttle is hailing us General on a priority channel" Zidane stated as he listened to the repeated calls through the comm.
"Put it on loudspeaker and put me on with the pilot" Revan ordered before turning to Rikka as Meetra was not on the bridge having retired to rest as had Bastila, Vima and Vash. "Have a security force move to the landing bay immediately". He told her to which she nodded and moved to comply. "This is the Revenge, identify yourself and your purpose here" he instructed turning back to the comms.
"My name is Celeste Alira General, and I am on an urgent mission from General Kreia" the pilot responded and making Revan instantly alert as he had not expected to hear from his former master and a woman who had been like a mother again.
"Land immediately in the landing bay Alira, I will meet you there to hear this message, no weapons understood" he ordered.
"Understood General" Celeste responded before cutting the channel and moving the shuttle into a landing position.
"Scan the shuttle, any signs of any explosives onboard?" Revan asked as he moved over to where Genya sat.
"No General, the shuttle is clear as I already checked as soon as I knew it was from Malachor" Genya answered to which Revan nodded before he moved to exit the bridge with Rikka right behind him.
"This is troublesome General" Rikka could not help but say. "I had assumed everyone on Malachor was dead, considering we have heard nothing from them in the two years since the academy was set up and left behind" she explained.
"I had feared the worse where Kreia was concerned but that she lives and yet sends only Celeste to us with a message disturbs me" Revan admitted to his friend and aide. "Something is wrong, and I have a dreadful idea what it is" he added with a sigh.
"Do you know this, Celeste Alira?" Rikka inquired as she did not remember the name herself.
"She was a strong Jedi, fast and flexible in combat". Revan told her remembering her well as she had fought with him on many a battle fronts during the Mandalorian war before transferring to Kreia's regiment.

They entered the landing bay to see the shuttle had already landed and been surrounded by the not only the security squad, but somehow Meetra and Commander Shepard's team had also made it here.
"Nice of you to join us?" Revan said with a grin which Meetra returned.
"I ordered Genya to wake me if anything happened and this counts" Meetra told him making him grin wider as he knew Meetra did not like missing out of things. "Plus, as soon as I woke, I had a sense through the force this was important, and I needed to hear it" she admitted to which he added.
"We have learned to sleep lightly General" Shepard added to explain her and her team's presence. "Anything from Malachor is possibly dangerous to us all, we were glad to answer the General's call for extra security" she informed him to which he nodded in acceptance.
Finally, the shuttle opened, and Celeste Alira walked down the ramp calmly and looking more or less the same as his last memory of her, the only real difference was her face looked paler and her blond hair was longer than he recalled. She came to a halt just a few metres from them and opened her arms wide to show she was not holding or carrying any weapons on her person, the security team moved forward to pat her down and ensure she had no hidden weapons. A minute or team later the leader of the team turned and nodded at him to show she was clean, he indicated they should check the shuttle which they did but again found nothing but her lightsaber which she had clearly left where they could find it.
"It has been a long time Alira, we thought everyone on Malachor was dead" he said in greeting.
"That is not by accident General" Celeste responded. "No one until now knows we still exist and General Kreia wanted to keep it that way as best she could not now, she is facing more pressure from Sion and Nihilus to launch our own assault" she informed him. "But she has managed to keep them contained in the idea we will only strike when either you or Malak has defeated the other before moving onto the Republic" she continued. "However, I am not the bearer of good news General, nearly everyone you left on Malachor has fallen to the dark side or been corrupted in some sense and sadly General Kreia is also beginning to succumb to it" she continued knowing this was not going to received well. "But has managed to resist hence sending me to warn you as I have not yet felt the effects of the dark side one of a few" she informed them all making them all wince at the news.
Revan's hands closed into fists at the news, and he cursed himself for ever agreeing with Kreia in setting up an academy on that retched planet's remains, it had been a mistake. Something he had thought more than once before the ambush and Malak's turn, his mistake had doomed hundreds of his people to corruption and death as now they were the enemy and had to be removed before they could attack anything. Meetra closed eyes and said a quick prayer for Kreia who she had always gotten with once she had broken away from Atris, clearly leaving them on Malachor was a bad idea and one she would have argued against had she been there.
"How long can she hold on?" Revan asked refocusing on the subject on hand and pushing away his troubled thoughts.
"She does not expect to last much longer General, whatever you are going to do about them you will have to do it quickly" Celeste answered grimly.
"The timing of this could be better" Meetra growled. "We are almost ready to deal with Malak and his ilk, now we have to contend with another splinter group" she said with a shake of her head.
Revan stepped closer to Celeste and leaned down to whisper in her ear. "Is the mass shadow generator still on that rock?" he asked.
"Yes, General it is" Celeste answered just as quietly knowing Meetra Surrik would not like hearing the name of the machine that had almost killed her and from what she had heard stripped her of her force powers for a time. "For reasons I do not understand it was left where it lay, perhaps General Kreia suspected something like this to happen and planned to use it as a way of easily taking them out of play" she suggested to which Revan nodded before moving away and started to head back to the bridge before looking back.
"How did you find us?" he asked.
"General Kreia used what is left of your force bond to get the general area you were in; I detected the signs of battle and guessed you were involved, and I was correct" Celeste answered.
"You will go to the quarantine to be watched so we can be certain you are not corrupted just like the others we have recovered like Shepard and her team here" Revan instructed to which Celeste just nodded in agreement. "Shepard, show her the way, stay with her and then bring her to the bridge in three hours for a briefing" he added turning to the commander who nodded and indicating for Celeste to follow which she did.
"What do we do Revan?" Meetra asked as she and Rikka moved over to him.
Revan glanced at her with a troubled expression which sent a shiver down her spine as she knew she had seen that look once before, just before he assigned her to the mission to use the mass shadow generator to destroy the majority of the Mandalorian fleet during the final battle of the way. She suddenly felt her stomach shift in unease, he could not possibly be thinking to use it again to deal with this sudden threat but then was there any other option if they were to do it quickly.
"Contact Canderous and have him meet us in three hours on the Revenge, in the meantime move the fleet to Gand and notify them to follow" he ordered. "We have plans to put into place, get some rest then meet on the bridge in three hours" he added before leaving.
"I do not like this twist General" Rikka said softly.
"Neither do I Rikka" Meetra responded as she turned to do as Revan had ordered knowing rest was going to be hard to come by if her concerns turned out to correct.
Rikka watched her go before glancing at the shuttle one more time before heading for her bed to rest, she did not have the force, but she knew trouble was just around the corner now that the Trayus Academy Sith had returned to the scene.

(Trayus Academy, Malachor V)
Kreia had found only a few others who had resisted the pull of the dark side and sent them back to the Revanchists, to keep Sion and Nihilus from knowing what she had done she had sent them on a quick mission to deal with a bad of pirates they had known had been reaving in the local area and were becoming a annoyance that could draw Republic attention back to this sector. When questioned on why both were been sent for what they saw as a minor problem, she had answered that she wanted to ensure their combat abilities were up to scratch as very soon they would be back in the fire of war themselves and they would be leading their forces. Sion had not argued the idea, as the idea of slaughtering a load of pirates sounded fun, Nihilus had just excepted he would get to feed on some souls sooner than later.
She did not know how Revan and Surrik would respond to her warning although she had a faint idea, it was why she had never bothered ordering the mass shadow generator moved or destroyed. If it could be fixed and reused then it would easily deal with the entire academy once set to overload, she doubted Revan would want to risk his fleet in a secondary fight with them just as he was preparing to deal with Malak. They were a distraction they did not need, best it be ended quickly then in a drawn-out battle or war. Time was against them, soon she would be completely subsumed in the dark side and fully become Darth Traya, so she prayed to the force that Revan did not hesitate to act.

(Leviathan Class Battleship Revenge)
Revan stood within the map room with Rikka, Meetra, Canderous, Carth, Bastila, Vima, Vash Celeste, Shepard, and Admiral Stark circled around the table. Each were listening as he explained what they had learned from Celeste Alira even if Rikka and Meetra already knew what was going on. They had reached Gand quickly by pushing the engines hard, best they leave the remains of the Sith fleet they had just destroyed behind quickly. None of them knew where the closest Sith fleet was, soon one of Malak's fleets would find it and relay the news to Malak himself and he would rage once more.
"So, we have more Sith to deal with" Carth said in some anger still coming down from recovering his son from Korriban, who even now sat in quarantine where he was been watched for any signs of corruption.
"We do indeed but these ones are far more dangerous than Malak's ilk" Revan replied tightly. "Malachor V has a darker more oppressive sense of the dark side than even Korriban, they are also not led by their desires and lusts and are more methodical in their methods" he cautioned them. "However, a frontal assault on them will hopefully not be required, we do not have the time or the manpower to face both them and Malak's Sith thus I have decided to try and destroy them covertly, but I will still be sending a sizable force just in case it does turn into a battle" he informed them. "Meetra, I am placing you in command of this force and I am sending Carth with you as first you will need to stop at Telos where you will find Boa-Dur" he stated and could see Meetra knew exactly what he planned and did not like it one bit.
"Are you planning on using the mass shadow generator again" Meetra asked darkly.
"It is the fastest way to destroy them all, but and listen closely Meetra, I do not expect you to stay and guard it this time" Revan answered as calmly as he could. "You will recruit Boa-Dur and have him fix and then rigg the generator to overload remotely" he told her. "I also sending you to Telos to deal with Atris as her not-so-secret academy is in the southern pole of that planet" he added.
"Sith spawn" Carth spat as he realised the witch who had almost overthrown the Jedi council was using his home world as a base of operations.
"If Surrik is being sent to deal with Atris then I am going with her as I have my own unfinished business with her" Vima said and by her tone everyone could see she would not be stopped from going.
"Very well Vima" Revan agreed after Meetra just shrugged her shoulders at the idea of her coming along. "Admiral Stark, you will command the fleet whilst Meetra is of the ship and act as her second" he continued.
"Aye general, I can do that" Stark said even though personally he would rather go with Revan and deal with Malak's forces as he had many grudges against them to fill. But he would follow his orders, working with General Surrik again would be a pleasure.
"Canderous, I know you are still in the process of rallying your people together, but I would request some of your own people who do now follow you go with Meetra's fleet to act as back-up just in case things do not go to plan" Revan continued looking to the new Mandalore.
"I can send a small portion with her no problem, and I think I have the right one to command it as well" Canderous responded with a nod of his head. "It will be a good test of her abilities and loyalty" he mused.
"Shepard, your team will go with Meetra's fleet and act as her strike force for when she lands on Telos and Malachor" Revan pressed on glad so far, his plan had been accepted even if he could tell Meetra was still unhappy about it.
"Understood General" Shepard said with a nod of her head accepting the mission and the dangers that went with it.
"Meetra you will take Celeste with you as she can lead you to where the mass shadow generator is located, do not hang around once the overload is set get out of there and return as fast as possible" Revan said speaking more directly to Meetra. "We do not have the resources or the time to waste dealing with Sion and Nihilus and the rest of them, we cannot allow them to enter this war" he stated to which Meetra nodded as did the others even some of the others had remained silent during the meeting.
"I will go and start getting things ready on my end then, Mandalore please send whoever it is you plan to lead your part of the fleet to me on the Firestar" Meetra said who just nodded in response. "Carth, I want you on the bridge on that ship as well so get what you need and meet me there in an hour we will leave soon once we have the fleet separated" she said turning to the former captain of the Endar Spire.
"Understood" was call Carth said as he did not know how to feel about been separated from his son so soon after getting him off Korriban, but he understood the threat they were facing and so like the others time he prepared to do his duty to the Republic no matter that it might cost him personally where his family were concerned.
The meeting broke and everyone left for the most part except for Bastila, who remained behind because she could tell Revan was not feeling great about his choice about what to do about this new threat. She stayed close to him as he watched Meetra turn and glance back at him before she walked back to him and instantly pulled him into a deep passionate kiss which made her feel jealous. Meetra pulled back, rested her head against Revan for a few seconds before finally turning and leaving the map room to meet her destiny.
"I am sure she will be okay Revan and she will return" Bastila said trying to be comforting even as she fought her jealously.
"By all I hold dear I pray to the force you are right Bastila" Revan said truly praying he was not sending Meetra to her death now he had found her again.
