Day 3: December 3rd
On December 3rd, Sharon found a medium-sized red box on her dresser.
Andy had come over last night with takeout from Sharon's favorite Thai restaurant and they'd watched a movie together after closing their latest case.
It was when she woke up this morning that she'd spotted the box.
She heard the shower running and knew it had to be Andy in there as Rusty usually left for school around 8am and it was now nine in the morning.
So, Sharon got up to retrieve the box and sat on the edge of the bed to open it.
This one wasn't wrapped in tissue paper at all though, as it wasn't breakable like the last gift.
Inside, she found it filled to the top with hair scrunchies.
Sharon laughed at just how well Andy knew her.
He knew when she was at home, she tended to wear her hair in one of two ways: in a messy bun atop her head or in a claw clip.
Sharon pulled out the hair tie that was currently in her hair and picked out a purple scrunchie and brushed her hair up into a messy bun before heading into the bathroom.
As she slid into the shower behind Andy and wrapped her arms around him from behind, she kissed his back.
Andy turned around and saw that she had the purple scrunchie in her hair.
"I see you opened my gift," said Andy as he placed a kiss atop her forehead.
"Yes, I did. Thank you," replied Sharon before placing a kiss against his collarbone.
"No problem," replied Andy.
"Thank you for knowing me so well," Sharon whispered into Andy's ear before she nibbled on his earlobe a bit.
"It's an honor and a pleasure to know you," Andy told her earnestly.
Sharon gently pushed him back into the spray and said, "I bet it is."
