*Epilogue: A New Heir*
The new life in the Pride Lands has changed. After the ceremony of Simba and Nala's cub, who they named Kiara, the Pride Lands will soon have another heir in the village. After two months, Ajani's child will be born.
Ajani and Zuri are in the hut alone with their newborn son. The African baby was sleeping peacefully in Zuri's arms, wrapped in a brown blanket. Ajani never felt any happier. He is a chief, and now he is the father to his son. Zuri looked up at her husband with a tired look in her eyes.
"Isn't he beautiful?" She asked.
"He's perfect." Ajani said, giving his wife a kiss on the side of her head. "What should we call him?"
"I'm thinking...Adish."
"Adish?" Ajani wondered. "It means...fire." Zuri raised her eyebrow at him. "Then again...Adish is a good name. Adish it is." The baby stirred a bit and opened his eyes to see his parents. "He's opening his eyes!" Ajani gasped. The baby has brown eye like his parents. He moved his eyes around. "Hey Adish. Welcome to the Circle of Life. Wait till you meet your Uncle Simba."
"He can meet him right now." A voice spoke from outside the hut.

Ajani and Zuri turned to see a villager with two lions coming in by bowing their heads. Simba and Nala came inside along with Iris and Nia.
"Is this a good time?" Simba asked.
"Right on time." Ajani said as he walked over to the lion to embrace him. "He is opening his eyes for the first time."
"Aww. Let us see him." Nala said as she walked over to Zuri to see the baby in her arms. Simba noticed the dark circle under Ajani's eyes. He couldn't help but to chuckle.
"All night, huh?" Simba asked.
"Since last night." Ajani said, hiding his yawn. "How is Kiara?"
"A handful. But...she won't be the only heir in the Pride Lands. Nala and I are having another cub." Simba said with a smile. Ajani's eyes went wide.
"Another cub? That's great!"

The golden lion walked over to Zuri's side to see the newborn baby. He smiled at the sight. Adish sees Simba's face and smiles. Zuri giggled.
"Look, he's smiling!" She said. Ajani stood by Simba to see his son smiling for the first time. Nala purred by gently nuzzling the baby's face, making him giggle.

"Great. Another cub to babysit!" Timon's voice said as he and Pumbaa walked in. Everyone started to chuckle at the meerkat. "So, is it a boy or a girl?"
"A boy. His name is Adish. Thank you for coming." Ajani said.
"I could just picture the cubs playing together. Kiara and Adish." Pumbaa said. "And then the new cub will join in."
"So many kids in the Circle of Life." Ajani said. He looked down at his wife. "Zuri, I think you need your rest. I'll take care of our son." Zuri let out a yawn and hand the baby over to Ajani. She started to lay back on the bed and closed her eyes. Ajani walked away with Adish in his arms as the others followed him outside. "Tomorrow morning, we will bring our son to Pride Rock to welcome him to the world." Ajani said to Simba.
"I can't believe it's been months since we got our home back. Ever since Scar ruled, everything was gone." Simba said as he and Ajani walked out of the village gates. Ajani asked one of the villagers to take Adish back to the hut to sleep in and followed Simba out. "And now...the lions and humans have joined together as one." Simba continued.
"We are one." Ajani said. "And Simba...I'm glad that your father has found me. Well, he saved me from Iris." He let out a chuckle as he remembered being almost eaten by Iris when he was a teen.

"Yeesh. I thought her screams were worse." Timon spoke as he and Pumba joined in. Nala stood by Simba's side to look at the view of their home and the Pride Rock not too far from them. "Thank the Circle of Life that snake kept her word for not eating you...or us."
"Any word from those hyenas?" Ajani asked.
"Nia made sure they are still kept at the Elephant Graveyard." Simba replied. "She is still allowed to visit her close friends whenever she wishes."
"I doubt the hyenas out there would ever switch sides." Ajani said by placing his hands on his hips to look up at the morning sky. "But whatever happens, we will protect our homes. We are one." Simba smiled and looked at the view with him as they feel the wind hitting them.

Above the sky, the morning sun shines brightly down at the group. Simba and Ajani could hear the voice of Mufasa speaking to them in his strong voice.
"We are one."
The end.
