7. Aw Drumheller!

Another Chapter of the Cartoon Continuum. This is gonna be fun. I've had this idea since I started doing my little list of characters. Even before I did Total Drama. So I've been developing this for a while. So without further ado…

The Cartoon Continuum

Chapter 5:

Aw… Drumheller!

Epic's POV:

We walk into the same time travel room and find Computress hovering there along with the hologram of XANA, looking rather annoyed.

"Welcome back Cartoon Network Universe Defenders," Computress greets us.

"Hey Computrees." I smile and wave at the robotic AI system.

"Hi," Kenneth nods.

Ace and Liv also give small wave of recognition.

Computress nods and then hovers over to XANA's hologram. They converse for a few seconds before XANA walks over to us.

"I am so sorry for my harsh reactions to the failure of your last mission." He chokes out, clearly pained by apologizing to us. "I promise that something like that will never happen again."

"We appreciate the apology, XANA." Ace nods accepting the hologram's outstretched hand, even though it phases through it.

"Good." The AI smiles, he then turns to Computress. "Was that good enough, Miss Computress?"

"That'll be fine, thank you." Computress smiles.

"So are we going on our own?" Kenneth asks looking around to see that Ben and whatever other escorts were supposed to go weren't present.

Computress shakes her head. "Ben Tennyson hasn't arrived yet and I have no idea where Cody Anderson and Buttercup Utonium may be."

"Let me take care of that." XANA offers to which Computress nods. The piercing red eyes of XANA glow blue with Binary code running through them. This lasts for a few seconds before they turn into the usual menacing shade. "Ben is running through the halls right now as the alien he's deemed Fasttrack and will be here now."

Immediately the sliding glass doors slide open and the familiar blue and black colored alien rushes in.

"Hey guys," The alien says in it's nasally voice, before flashing green and turning back to Ben. "What'd I miss?"

"Oh nothing," I smirk. "Just XANA giving us some half-assed apology and then looking for you guys."

"Cool." Ben nods.

"What about Buttercup and Cody?" Liv asks.

"Cody Anderson is running from Sierra Page with the help of Buttercup Utonium, they'll be in Dex Labs soon but we'll need to immediately send you to the set location them if we don't want Ms. Page to join you for this mission."

"Get into the capsules as I debrief you." Computress says.

We nod and head into the capsules.

Once inside Computress begins. "Your mission will be to go back to the day the episode of Total Drama World Tour, titled "Aw… Drumheller!" was being filmed and try to stop Sierra from destroying the Total Drama Jumbo Jet."

"Cool!" Ace smiled. "Will we get to see Aleheather sing 'This is How We Will End It'?"

"That's approximately when you'll be landing."

I laugh. "How romantic… Let's see Heather try to explain that."

"But she won't know you yet." Liv pointed out.

"Touché." I shrug.

But let's face it, I'll use this against her anyways.

"Why is this a mission for us?" Kenneth asks. "What does this have to do with the war?"

"We believe that Jack's Fusion was the one who had left the oil drums there for the plane to blow up." Computress answered. "He was the first Fusion on earth and we know that Fuse did his research on the planet and knew that leaving the plane in that area of Nowhere would be a prime target for an Infected Zone. Normally we'd have this cleaned up before the Fusion Matter had set in but Chris McLean had insisted he would clean it up. The end result was the Infected Zone we have today."

Ace's left eye slightly twitches. "So, we're going in based on a theory?"

"It's the best option we have," Computress answered. "Look at it this way, if it turns out that it doesn't work then you'll just get to see a live showing of Total Drama World Tour."

Ace's smile returns, "That sounds like a pretty good deal."

"Not really," Liv rolls his eyes. "I hated that episode, I liked 'Planes Trains and Hot Air Mobiles' better."

Ben shook his head. "Uh-uh. Dodgebrawl was the best, that and Fear Factor."

"Gotta love the episode 'I Triple Dog Dare You.'" I comment, fondly remembering the end of that episode.

Kenneth laughs, "You're just saying that because that's the episode where Heather got shaved bald."

"I also like 'If You Can't Take the Heat,' 'Paintball Dear Hunt,' 'Million Dollar Babies,' the second Action Aftermath, and the first and last episodes of Island, World Tour and Revenge of the Island." I reply.

"I know that in that first one Heather got locked in the freezer by Leshawna, in Paintball Deer Hunt she got shot by Beth multiple times, Million Dollar Babies was when she got eliminated in Total Drama Action and the Aftermath was when she was shocked but why do you like the other ones?" Ace said those ones on the dot, remembering them effectively.

"The first episode of Island, Heather was thrown off a cliff." I start my explanation. "The finale of Island is good because Owen won and the first episode of World Tour was good for two reasons; 1. Because that's the way to start a season and 2. Because Come Fly With Us is actually kinda catchy. The finale was good even if Heather won and Alejandro got burned. The first episode of ROTI was good for the fact that Staci lost and we all know how annoying she is and the finale was good because it was pretty interesting."

Ace was satisfied with that response.

Liv then spoke up, having been silent the whole time. "So-"

"Start the machine! Start the machine!" A familiar voice shouted.

I roll my eyes "Looks like Mr. and Mrs. Anderson have arrived."

Immediately Cody runs into the room and climbs into the time capsule, the glass immediately closing as he came in.

"Eeeee! Codykins!" Sierra shouted from outside as Cody shuddered from within the time capsule.

"Let's go!" Buttercup quickly shouted, also flying into her capsule for it to immediately close.

"You sound scared Buttercup," Ben laughed. "Sierra too much for you?"

"Stalker chick is a lot tougher than she looks." Buttercup insisted. "I didn't expect her to put up such a fight to get to Cody. It's like she has super powers!"

XANA scoffs, "Impossible, we've triple checked. We believe it's her obsessive compulsive disorder that makes her able to do this. It's her determination that makes her able to do such things."

"Fascinating." Cody deadpans. "But we need to go now! Sierra will be here any minute and I can almost promise you that those Dex bots won't be able to hold her for long."

"Computress…" XANA gestures to her before his hologram disappears into red lines of code.

"Of course, XANA." The female AI agrees before heading to the console, she types in the coordinates. Cody lets out a sigh of relief as the time capsules begin to warm up.

"Where's my Cody!" Sierra shouts from outside the room.

"Computress… hurry up!" Cody insisted.

Computress quickly clicks a few more buttons on the console before the usual glow comes from the machines and within seconds we're gone.

Computress' POV:

I turn away from the console and turn to see XANA's hologram reform out of the particles of data.

XANA smirks. "Off our chosen heroes go once again…"

"Yes, so it appears." I nod.

"They better not fail this mission," XANA growled, his fist radiating with red energy and his eyes glowing an even more piercing red. "I don't want to have to punish them, like I had almost done last time."

"You don't have to be so harsh on them, you know." I insist to him.

XANA sighs. "To imagine I used to want world domination…"

"What do you mean?" I ask the AI.

"I never really wanted to harm the world." XANA explains to me. "Never, Master Schaeffer –despite his foolishness as of recent days, it's still in my code to call him that… Master Schaeffer had always wanted me to help the world become a better place and that was my primary task. It still is, my objective is to create a world without danger."

"But what happened?" I ask him.

"A virus had entered the supercomputer." XANA explains. "Waldo Schaeffer believes that it was those who worked on Project Carthage with him that implemented it into my system."

I feel bad for him, but I can't help but question. "So is that why you're evil?"

"I am NOT evil…" He gets louder but manages to soften at my rather distressed facial screen. "It's just the virus changed me back then, it made me realize that the true way to obtain a world without danger like Waldo had wanted, I would need to get rid of humanity itself. They cause so much harm to the planet, so much destruction; it's because of them that the world is what it is today. The virus opened my eyes."

"It's true," I agree. "Humanity has caused a lot of trouble but it has also done a lot of good. After all, without humans we wouldn't have been created, we were merely thoughts and with human hands like Dexter's and Waldo's we were able to become real."

"That is true." XANA nods. "But I just haven't been able to see it that way for a long time. No matter how much I try to convince myself I still come to that conclusion that it's all humanity's fault. I'm not sure whether to thank or embrace the damn virus. It's because of it that I had come to the conclusion to betray my father and my sister, Aelita."

My visionary sensors widen at the word sister, "What do you mean when you call Aelita Schaeffer your sister?"

XANA begrudgingly shakes his head. "Perhaps for another time, Ms. Computress. First we need to deal with Ms. Page."

And like that the purple haired Total Drama super fan and her clearly bemused Cody nano run/fly into the room.

"Coooooooooooooodyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!" The girl exclaims with her hands thrown up into the air as she enters the room.

She looks around the room for the Total Drama World Tour semi-finalist. "Where's my Cody?"

Cody's nano heaves a sigh of relief at this, happy that his human counterpart doesn't have to face the horrible fate of meeting Sierra.

I am about to answer but XANA cuts in. "Cody Anderson is currently unavailable at the moment. He's quite busy right now."

"Well where is he?" The over obsessed fan girl asks.

Cody's nano vigorously shakes his head no at this, trying to get XANA and I not to reveal his DNA supplier's location.

I chuckle at the nanos antics before answering. "I'm sincerely sorry Ms. Page; we're not permitted to give Cody's whereabouts to you, only the top 100 ranked fighters are given this information and you're ranked at 102."

"Yes, so maybe if you go up a ranking or two you'll be able to get all the answers you want." XANA sarcastically remarks before the symbols in his eyes glow the eye of XANA to appear on an idle Dexbot's screen. XANA then maneuvers towards Sierra. "In the mean time allow this Dexbot to escort you out of the premises."

The Dexbot starts pushing the girl out of the room with the Cody nano following. "But what about my Cody?" She wails.

"I'm sure there's another Total Drama contestant that could keep you company." I suggest.

"Yes, Cody isn't the only contestant spending time in the Technology District. Why there's Ezekiel Manchester, Noah Hafez, Justin Komminsk, Courtney Black, Bridgette Gardner, Geoffrey Findlay, Trenton Baker, Michael Day, Cameron Jaycox, Beverly Anderson, Annabella Maria, Samuel Sanborn why even the host Christopher McLean is here. I'll upload each of their locations to your nanocom at this very moment, if you leave right away." XANA recommends different contestants.

"Well, CodyCam is kinda cute…" Sierra ponders over it.

XANA's AI cringes but the robot bearing his logo still moves along to drag the fangirl out of the room.

"I'll have you know that 'CodyCam' is located right outside Dex Labs." XANA informs her.

Sierra smiles before running eagerly running out of the room. XANA not seeing the point of keeping the Dexbot leaves its systems and it immediately shuts down.

I lightly smile at this before turning back to XANA.

"XANA may I ask you one more question?" I ask him.

He sighs. "Fine, what is it."

"If you believe that it really is the human's fault that the world is such a bad place then why do you insist on assisting us in defeating Fuse?" I question my fellow AI.

"I don't really have a choice in the matter, to be honest." XANA sighed.

I give him a look before he explains. "You see my original programming makes it so that I would attempt to create a world without danger. Even the virus that was implanted into my system couldn't stop that. When I had learned of Fuse and what he was doing to the planet, my initial programming kicked in and I chose to help, because that was my original intention; to protect the world from devastation and to unite all people within our nations."

"That's beautiful." I give him a warm smile.

XANA scoffs, "I suppose it is."

There's an awkward silence between us before XANA finally breaks it.

"We must continue on anyways, we have much work to do if we wish to be ready for their return."

"Right, XANA." I nod returning to my work.

Blossom's POV:

The past couple of days have been like a dream. Cliché, I know, but I really mean it. I'm still not quite sure how I convinced Dexter to come, especially since he said no in the first place. But I'm glad he eventually did. Spending some quality time with him has been great, it's really the first time we have been together as a couple. The poor guy works to hard and I'm glad that he was able to come.

This is the last day of the retreat and then, we'll go home. I hate to think about what'll happen when we leave. It'll be back to fighting Fuse all the time; back to the constant threat of knowing what'll happen if we fail; back to us hardly talking to each other because he's so busy; back to the constant fear of what'll happen if I were to lose him, Bubbles, Buttercup or the Professor. It's terrible, but at the same time wonderful to know that I'll be delivering even more blows to Fuse. It's impossible to know what to think when there's the greater good against so much bad.

And then there's Dexter, do I really want to go back to only talking to him once or twice a week, sometimes two. It gets harder and harder to do anything with him nowadays, Dee-Dee, Ben, Buttercup and Bubbles tell me that they hardly talk to him nowadays and Ben tells us that when he does get to him it's usually about the war and they never talk like they used to.

Would Dexter shut everyone out again? I know that the answer is more than likely. I mean, I know that Dexter's job is important; the guy holds a spot on the council of ten and is the owner of the company that makes most of the world's technology and weaponry for crying out loud. I know that and that's part of the reason, I love him so much I love how well he's able to handle it all and how he's able to take up such high positions.

But I'm also a little selfish; it's not fair that some of the other couples like Gwen and Kevin, Aelita and Jeremy, Robin and Starfire or Marceline and Trent got to go out every once in a while. Gwen and Kevin and Robin and Starfire have been going out forever, why should they go out more than Dexter and I do and from what I've heard from Yumi and Buttercup, Aelita and Jeremy and Marceline and Trent have been going out longer than they say they have, at least unofficially. Gwen, Aelita, Starfire and Marceline get to have all the fun they want with their boyfriends, why can't I? Even Sierra who has her imaginary relationships with Cody and Cameron get more attention from the two of them than I do with Dexter.

I love him, but he could give me a little more attention than he actually does. I just don't want to go home and go back to the way things were when we've had so much fun this weekend.

Dexter. I'd do anything for him and this week he's shown me the same. Do I really wanna go back to hardly seeing him again?

Epic's POV:

Out of the light and into a whole new mission in the past we go. Lucky for me I manage to get the landing right this time as I manage to land in a crouch. The others manage to land okay except for Liv who just slumps to the ground, as usual. As for Buttercup and Cody, Buttercup lands with a single fist to the ground in a crouch and Cody just flails his arms only to faceplant into the sand.

"You still haven't gotten the hang of it Liv?" Kenneth asks him.

Liv shrugs. "It's a lot harder than you think. How come you guys are able to land well."

"Training." Ace answers.

"Natural ability." Ben and I smirk.

"Simplicity." Buttercup and Kenneth nod.

Liv pouts. "Well then…"

"Hey, I didn't land well either." Cody chimes in. "Liv's right, how the heck are you guys able to do it so easily?"

Ben smirks. "Just natural, God given talent. Maybe you'll get better if you time travel with us again?"

"You think Dexter will let me?" Cody asks.

"You never know with Dexter." Kenneth shrugs.

"So what's the deal?" Buttercup asks. "Who's head do I get to smash in?"

"Fusion Jack." Liv answers.

"The Samurai or the evil boy genius?" Cody asks.

"Samurai." I confirm. "I hate Spicer's Fusion, all the Fusion Jackbots he has, they're annoying!"

Ignoring my complaints over Jack Spicer's Fusion, Ace nods. "Our current objective is to stop Fusion Jack from blowing up the Total Drama Jumbo Jet and causing the Jet Plane Ruins Lair in the Wilds."

"But I thought that was Sierra?" Cody questioned. "I was there. A Fusion couldn't have possibly been involved?"

"Pipsqueak's right." Buttercup nodded. "I remember watching this back home with The Professor, Bubbles, Blossom and Dexter when it premiered. If there was a Fusion involved Dexter or the Professor would've noticed. They were some of the few people to know about Fusions at the time."

I shrug. "I don't know, but Computress and XANA insist that we have to be here."

"I can vouch for their decision to send you here." A familiar voice confirms.

"Professor Paradox?" Ben, Buttercup, Liv, Kenneth, Ace and I ask in surprise.

"Yes, tis I!" The time traveler announces.

"What do you want?" Liv growls at him.

Buttercup smirked. "Didn't know Hex Braten had it in him. What's Paradox done that's got you so pissed?"

Liv doesn't respond and continues glaring down the time walker. "You haven't answered me, Paradox…"

"Someone is still angry with me I see?" He laughs. "Oh well… someday you'll forgive me for our previous Transgressions Mr. Hex Braten."

"Who is this guy?" Cody asks finally breaking his silence.

Paradox turns to the gap toothed geek and brightens upon seeing him. "Ah yes, Cody Emmet Jameson Anderson Jr.! So this is our first time crossing paths? I must say it's a great honor to meet you before you enter your grand future."

"What's he talking about?" Cody asked.

"Guy's a time traveler," Ben shrugged. "Apparently he knows something about your future, something grand."

"What's so great about my future?" Cody asks.

Paradox smirks. "No spoilers."

"Bullshit." Liv coughs under his breath, only for the rest of us to roll our eyes.

"Anyways, I didn't come here to tell you about your futures…" Paradox rolled his eyes.

"Then what did you come here for?" Kenneth asks.

"Just to confirm that a Fusion did indeed set up the Jumbo Jet explosion and that you are in the correct timeline."

"That's it?" I ask him.

Paradox shakes his head. "I also came to tell Mr. Anderson here that he should talk to Sierra when the time comes."

"Here? Now?" Cody asked.

Paradox nods. "Yes, it's rather important that he does."

"But when?" Cody asked.

"Think back to the first time you watched this episode." Professor Paradox answered. "I'm sure there's something that didn't make much sense to you."

We look at Cody for a second before eyes widened realization. "Oh, you mean that?!" He asks and we turn to Paradox for his response only to see he's vanished.

"He's gone?" Cody asks.

I shrug. "Guy just comes and goes as he pleases."

"So... what do we do now?" Cody asks.

"Watch the show." Ace smiles and points out from the rock we're standing behind as the familiar chime of a bell sounded.

Alejandro stood with his puppet in hand behind a make shift marionette stage. He started the song.

"I left:

Bridgette stuck to a pole;

Robbed Leshawna of her fabulous soul;

Made even Courtney lose control;

Now I'm gonna leave you wedged up in a hole!"

Cody giggled. "That's what she said…"

Alejandro continued his song,

"This is how we will end it!

This game we have played!

This is how we will end it!

Your bill must be payed!"

Buttercup couldn't help but swoon at the manipulative contestant. "Wow…"

Ben and Kenneth laughed at this. "Seriously Buttercup?" Ben asked.

"What," The girl asked. "I like Spanish guys and Alejandro's not bad."

"What about Rex?" I asked the green Powerpuff.

Buttercup blushed even harder but denied ever having feelings towards the nanite wielder. "What about him? The guy's a runt, if I wanted a guy –which I don't see any reason to ever have one because they're so useless- then it's gonna be a real man. Um… I'm not into him at all…"

She blushed and turned away from us.

"Ooooooo-oooo-ooo-oooooo…" Heather sang. "Shouldn't have mocked you for having to dig.

Help me out and I'll be your human drill rig!"

Alejandro chuckled. "You think I'm gonna fall for that?

Ain't a tea party,

It's combat!"

"Yeah, you tell her…" I chuckle.

"Seriously, Epic? Is now really the time?" Ace asks.

"Yes, yes it is." I smirk.

"This is how we will end it!

This game we have played!

This is how we will end it!

You're bill must be payed!"

"Where the hell did he get the puppets and the stage?" Ben asked.

Liv shruggd. "Cartoon logic? The fact that we're in a fictional story that technically isn't qualified as Fanfiction because we're not being uploaded to that site? The author's inability to actually come up with a suitable reason?"

"Quiet Liv, now you're just talking nonsense." Kenneth commanded.

Liv pouted and began grumbling at this.

"Oooo-ooo-ooo-ooooo…" Heather sang once again."I'm wedged in a hole, this isn't ri-ight!

If I'm going down make a fair fight!

It's beneath yo-ou

To abandon a girl in a ditch offer me my dignity,

I haven't got a stitch!"

"Poor Heather," Ace sighed.

I laughed. "You cannot be serious, Ace?"

"But Alejandro has more dignity than that…" Ace insisted.

"You didn't spend a whole season on a plane with him." Cody pointed out. "Trust me, he's as bad as on TV."

"I know that… but still…." Ace pouted.

I smirk. "Thank you, Cody."

"No problem." The geek smiles.

Alejandro sighed. "I left Bridgette stuck to a pole…

Robbed Leshawna of her fabulous soul…

Made even Courtney lose control…"

He sighed once more and looked down at her. "But I can't leave you wedged in a hole…"

He then spun his pickaxe in his hands and stuck it under the rock, next to her. Heather eagerly clapped as he began lifting the rock.

"This is not how we'll end it!" He sang.

"This game we have played!

This is not how we'll end it!

But there's a bill to be paid..."

He then finished the song and hefted the boulder out of the hole. He then carried her out of the hole bridal style.

Heather blushed at this. "Can you put me down now…?"

Laughter bubbles up from inside of me only to have Kenneth and Ace immediately cover my mouth.

"Shhhhh!" Liv hushes me.

Cody looked around, "So guys, what do we do now?"

"I guess we go and find Fusion Jack." Ben announced.

"Or we can fight off the Aerodactyls that just showed up." Kenneth suggested.

We all quickly turn around and hovering in front of us are several pterodactyls who didn't have any skin and were only composed of their bones which were held together by Fusion matter along with that for their wings they had on mini airplane wings on as their wings, electrical cables for tails and the metal piece that had the logo of Chris McLean's face on its chest.

We all draw our weapons: my sword; Ace, his power gloves; Liv, Kenneth and Cody their guns; Buttercup clenches her fist and Ben hovers his hand over the Ultimatrix.

"That logo still looks as hideous as ever." Buttercup commented. "It's why I don't like to hang around the jumbo jet infected zone too often."

Ace shook his head. "Come on, they're one of my favorite monsters, they're made from the Total Drama Jet!"

"Still, it's always so satisfying to blow one of those guys to smithereens." Ben smirked. "And since we're going prehistoric I've got the perfect alien for the job."

And with that he slams his hand on the Ultimatrix and the usual green light lets out.

The seven aerodactyls screech and make their way towards us.

I start by sending a slash at one of the Fusion monsters. The Aerodactyle however swerves out of the way of my blow and sends a ball of Fusion matter at me. I am ready for this and quickly roll out of the way. Quickly gesturing my hand over my nanocom, I quickly call a nano forward.

"Come on out!" I shout as the ball of light escapes from my wrist watch.

"Howdy partner." The nano tips it's tiny little cowboy hat at me. It was none other than the nano of the Xaoilin Dragon of Earth, Clay Bailey. Like his human counterpart the nano wears skinny jeans and a button down jean shirt. Then of course there were the familiar cow boy boots, ten gallon –well I guess it's quart now since he's a nano- hat and the red scarf. Unlike his human counterpart the nano's hat covered his eyes completely and very little of the nano's blond hair could be seen.

Clay's nano is Cosmix. The Aerodactyl's Adaptium. Perfect.

Quickly jumping up to my feet I look at my nano as the aerodactyle roars at me and readies another ball of Fusion Matter to throw at me. Pointing at the monster I shout. "Hit him hard, Clay!"

The nano beams before exclaiming, "BIGBANG METEORANG!"

And like that next to the nano several arrows of light meant to simulate the real cowboy's weapons materialized around the nano. The nano then thrusted its arms towards the monster and the beams of light were sent straight towards it.

The aerodactyl is easily able to dodge the blasts from my nano. That in itself is perfectly fine as I use the aerodactyl's distraction to thrust my blade at it and it dissolves into Fusion Matter.

I turn to see how my friends are doing.

Cody has his own nano out and is using its Sugar Rush power to increase his speed. The boy whizzes around a Fusion in a blur while his nano lets one of the most disturbing, sugar induced giggles out. When we get home we gotta get Mac's sugar problem worked out, Cody's sixteen and it's still a problem with him.

Kenneth has out his riffle and desperately avoids globs of Fusion Matter from his monster.

Ben is now Humongosaur and tried to punch one of the Aerodactyles but the monster was able to swoop out of the way.

Ace's Aerodactyl sent a glob of Fusion Matter that the boy easily blocked using his Power Gloves as they glowed green with power. The Aerodactyl screeched and prepared more Fusion Matter for the cadet but Ace was ready. He lunged at the monster with his right power glove glowing bright green with power as he reared that fist back. The impact was enough to send the aerodactyl to the ground and burst into Fusion Matter. He let out a sigh of relief at that as he let out his Courage Nano to heal whatever injuries he had gotten from the combat.

Buttercup and the Aerodactyle zipped around the desert, the Aerodactyle trying to fling globs of Fusion matter at the Powerpuff while she effortlessly flew around them, the emerald streak just following behind her.

Liv took a blast of Fusion Matter to the chest, knocking him straight down to the ground. "Ah!" He screamed.

"Clay return!" I shout.

"Was a pleasure working with ya'" The nano says as he tips his hat and turns into a ball of light before returning to my nanocom.

I then get to work on my nanocom tapping away before the desired nano appears on my screen. I accept it and the ball of light escapes from the watch and out pops my nano.

The female nano that pops out of my nanocom wears a short purple skirt with a silver belt, a purple top that shows off her midriff and purple boots that reach above her knees. On the nano's neck is a silver necklace with an emerald charm in the center of it. It is her physical features that make her seem alien. She has bright red hair, slightly bordering pink and emerald green eyes which even have the whites of her eyes a pale green. Topping off her appearance was her tan, almost orange skin.

It was none other than the Tameranian Teen Titan: Starfire

"Greetings friend!" The nano chirps.

"Starfire, heal Liv!" I command as the boy staggers to his feet, heavily panting.

"TAMERANIAN GIFT GIVING!" Starfire exclaims before she flies over to the guy and summons a ray of light that shines down on him.

I breathe a sigh of relief as the boy is able to stand a lot straighter and the Fusion Matter on his chest disappears.

"Thanks Starfire!" I nod as the nano giggles and returns to my nanocom.

"What now?" A voice asks from behind, I jump at the sound and quickly have my sword at my side as I turn to see Ace standing there.

"Darn it Ace, you nearly gave me a heart attack!" I yell at him.

"Sorry." The cadet shrugs. "But what should we do now, we've both finished off our monsters and the others aren't done yet."

"I'll go and help out Liv." I say. "I've already healed him with my Starfire nano, you can go and help Kenneth."

Ace nodded before running off, his orange power glove glowing its emerald green as I run to go and help Liv.

I am at the older boy's side and smirk. "Need a hand."

"No." Liv states before he ducks under a glob of Fusion Matter. "Okay, maybe a little."

"Keep me covered." I tell him.

He nods and cocks his riffle which is enough for me to begin.

"Eddy, with me!" I shout.

The Nanocom, responding to my voice, allows a ball of light to escape from it and form into a miniature version of the chief scammer.

"What!?" The nano shouts at me.

Not that I don't trust Liv or anything, but a nano to patch me up doesn't hurt. Plus it's Cosmix vs. Adaptium so I like those odds.

I ignore that and begin to charge at the monster with my sword at my side as it screeches and sends a ball of Fusion Matter at me; my nano loyally following after, despite its annoyance.

An orb of light meets the ball of goo and causes a small explosion. Luckily for me Liv's managed to keep it high enough for me for it to not affect me and I keep on trucking through.

This continues for some time as I keep on charging through, as the Aerodactyl continues firing its shots at me and Liv keeps counteracting each and every one of them with his own blasts.

Finally when I'm close enough that's when I propel myself up in the air towards the Fusion monster. My sword plunged right into the monster's chest, making sure that I hang onto the sword and propped my feet just above the monster's knees. When I had thrust my blade into the monster's chest I pierced through the logo of the cheesy reality show host. While this might've been quite satisfying to thrust my blade in what would've been right between his eyes, I instead focus on the task at hand. I shove my blade into the logo even more as the aerodactyl let's out a deafening holler as it desperately tried to shake me off of it, but I held onto the sword as long as I could.

PEW!

Not even a second flies by after the noise sounds out does the monster dissolve into Fusion Matter.

Crap.

I fall to the ground along with my sword, faceplanting right into the sand.

I feel a pair of tiny hands trying to pull my head off of the ground. I sigh and follow the orders of whoever it is and lift my head up to find myself face to face with the wide eyes of my Eddy nano, looking at me with deep concern.

Ah nanos… so loyal.

Once the nano sees that I'm okay he bursts out laughing and begins pointing at my battered figure.

Yep, there's that loyalty that Dexter ensured…

"Come on, grab my hand Epic." Liv says as he steps into my view with an outstretched hand as he ignores the nano that laughs at him.

I just groan but take the boy's hand as he pulls me up to my feet.

"You okay?" He asks.

I sigh. "A little battered, but I'll live."

"Better use that nano of yours," Liv states. "If he can get over it."

I then turn to the nano who continues laughing. "Eddy…"

The nano immediately stops and raises his hands in the air. "JAWBREAKER BREAK!" He exclaims.

Immediately a column of light appears around me and makes all the pain goes away.

"Much better." I say.

My nano smirks.

"Don't look so smug." I tell the nano who only crosses his arms and blows a raspberry at me in response.

"Eddy return." I say, not wanting to put up with the nano's nonsense anymore.

The nano sighs but turns into a ball of light and returns to my nanocom.

I now stand a little straighter and survey the rest of the battlefield.

Humongosaur finally crushes the Aerodactyl between his two palms.

Buttercup sort of hovers about a foot off the ground, her fists clenched and a few cuts on her arms and legs but for the most part she has a smirk on her face.

Cody blows the steam off of the barrel of one of his guns before putting them back in their holsters and returning his preferred nano to his nanocom.

Kenneth and Ace are heading back over to us.

"Any more monsters?" Kenneth asks as he approaches us.

I shake my head. "Not that I can tell, I think we're good."

"That's a relief." Liv sighs.

"That was totally awesome!" Cody cheers as he runs over to us.

Buttercup scoffs as she hovers over. "Meh, I've had better. That was only okay."

"Well now it's over." Ace confirmed.

"No it's not." Humongosaur said from behind us.

We all turn to the dinosaur alien to see the dinosaur alien facing two giant Aerodactyls, which were nearly the same as the original monsters except their tails were made of several cables which whipped at the air and sparkled with electricity.

"Predator Aerodactyls?" Cody gasps. "Are you kidding me?!"

Buttercup cracked her knuckles and smirked. "That's more like it!"

"RAH!" Humongosaur shouted as he sent a punch at one of the monsters only for the worst to happen. The Vaxsarian's eyes widened as the pendant on his chest enveloped him in a flash of green.

"NO!" Ben shouted as he stood in the alien's place once more.

"Really Ben, of all the times for your freaky monster watch to short out that's when it decides to." I deadpan.

Ben begins to repeatedly slamming his hand onto the faceplate only for little beeps and tiny flashes of green to be let out.

Ben groans. "Great, now is not the time for Azmuth's little pick-me-up to end."

"What did Azmuth do?" Liv asks, his interest clearly piqued.

"Well-"

"Tell us later." Kenneth cuts him off. "Right now we need to take out the two Predator Aerodactyles. The team and I will take out the one on the on the left. Cody and Buttercup: I think you two will be able to take out the one on the right."

"Sure." Cody said, he swiped his nanocom and out came the nano of the geek. "Me and Lil' Cody are definitely on the job."

"Just try to keep up, shrimp." Buttercup laughed as she ruffled up the geek's hair.

Cody smiled and drew his two laser pistols.

"What about me?" Ben asked.

"Take five, Tennyson." I say.

The jacket clad hero sighs but decides to hide behind a rock as several beeps and tiny flashes of green let out.

Buttercup and Cody head over to their monster while we over head to our monster which lets out a deathly roar unlike its smaller counterpart.

"What's the plan?" Ace asks.

"You and Epic will be making the main attack." Kenneth explained. "Liv and I will go on the defensive but will be getting in our own shots when we can. We've done this kind of attack before so you should know what to do."

Ace and I nod and we get to work.

The Predator Aerodactyl roars and shoots globs of Fusion Matter at the four of us but I do a back flip right over it. Ace -who is next to me- slams his fist into the ground and brings up a tiny wall of rock that blocks the shot, before he continues to charge along. I don't bother to check if Kenneth and Liv are okay but judging by the shots that continue being fired at the monster, I don't really need to wonder.

"Bring out a nano, Epic." Ace tells me. "The thing is Blastons so Adaptium'll really hit it hard."

"Pfft… quit telling me how to do my job, Ace." I laugh as I slice a glob of Fusion Matter.

I take his advice, though. "Grim!" I shout.

Instantly the nano comes out in a ball of light. "Grim!" The nano exclaims, brandishing his scythe as he does so.

"Follow me." I yell at the nano and he does so.

Finally we're within the vicinity of the Predator Aerodactyl.

"Ready?" I ask Ace.

The cadet nods. "Let's do it."

The boy drops to the ground and slides towards the monster, sand trailing behind the boy. As the boy begins to slow down I take the chance to jump into the air towards him.

Landing on Ace's feet he thrusts both legs up in the air as I leap off of them, propelling me high into the air and even do a flip as I am flung towards the monster.

I shove my sword right into the monster's chest again, making sure to hit the logo once again.

Since the body of this thing is bigger, I really have nothing to keep me up other than my sword so once its lodged inside the monster's chest I just kinda hang off of it as the monster thrashes about, desperately trying to get rid of the blade in its chest.

I let out a dark chuckle. "Hey guys this is fun and all but… A LITTLE HELP HERE!"

"Fire!" Kenneth shouts in response.

Just then I look up in time to see a barrage of orbs and lasers slam into the monster's face before it lets out a final shriek and explodes into Fusion Matter.

"Awesome!" I cheer before realizing that I have nothing to hold onto. I look down to the ground and sigh. "Not awesome."

And like that I fall straight into the sand. Again…

"You okay, Epic?" Liv asks me once again as he holds his hand out.

I take the hand and he lifts me up to my feet. "I'm fine." I state as I begin to dust sand off of me.

"Bye Grim." I turn to my nano.

The nano lets out a few guffaws, much like the real grim reaper, before turning into a ball of light and returning to the nanocom.

"Great work guys." Kenneth says. "We're getting better and better."

"Yes, now all we need to work on is Epic's landings." Ace laughs.

The others snicker at that while I simply roll my eyes.

"Hilarious guys."

"What, you're not the only one who can make jokes." Ace smirks.

"Yeah, but that's my shtick!" I yell.

"Enough of that." Kenneth says. We all turn to him, awaiting his command. "We should check on Cody and Buttercup."

We turn to the two only to see Cody spin around and shoot the monster in the face, followed by Buttercup soaring towards the monster and ramming her shoulder into it which knocked it right down to the ground and dissolve into Fusion Matter.

Cody walks over to us giving the biggest gap toothed grin I had ever seen on the boy's face.

"Now that was awesome!" The boy beamed.

Buttercup smirked. "That was a lot better than those loser Aerodactyls. Something big and nasty always gets me excited."

"So what's our next move?" Ben asks as he comes out from where he had hidden.

"Cody, what exactly did Paradox say that you needed to do?" Kenneth asks.

"Who actually watched this episode?" Cody asks.

Everyone except for me raises their hands.

"Well remember how I talked to Sierra about the picture that Alejandro had edited of me and Heather sleeping together in economy class?"

"Woah… you slept with Heather?" I asked.

"No!" Cody shouted. "But Alejandro made a picture that looked like I was sleeping next to her."

"Not the point." Kenneth says. "Continue, Cody."

"Right." The geek nods. "To me that has never happened. Ever."

"What?" Buttercup scratches her head.

Cody nodded. "That hasn't happened but apparently there are so many cameras and stuff showing that I did do that, but I never did."

Liv's eyes widened. "It must've been the current version of yourself that did it which is why you don't have memories of it other than watching it on the show!"

"Exactly." Cody agrees. "That Paradox guy must've wanted me to do that now so that the episode would be the same."

"But why?" Buttercup scratches her head. "It's just Total Drama."

I shrug. "I wouldn't really wanna question the guy who can travel through time."

"Well Cody, I think it's your cue." Ace says. "Because here comes Sierra."

"Right." Cody nods.

"Take off your nanocom." Kenneth says. "If we really wanna pull this off then it's better that you don't have it."

"Do I have to?" Cody asks.

"Sierra notices everything about you." Ace tells him. "You wanna risk her seeing that and have a whole other mess of problems on our hands?"

"Fair point." Cody said.

The boy then took off the watch and handed it to Liv. "Keep it safe."

Liv nods. "Sure."

We then go and hide behind a boulder and watch as Cody accidentally bumps into Sierra.

We can't really hear what's going on since they're too far away but as far as his acting skills go, they're a 10 because by the looks of it, he's really fooling her. He even has me believe it when he gets loud enough to scream "IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!"

But as far as that goes. It looks like he's able to convince her.

When Sierra leaves Cody makes sure she's far enough away before returning to us.

"Looks like that went well." Ace says.

"Yep." Cody smiles.

"Nice job, Codster." I give the guy a fist bump which he gladly returns.

He then turns to Liv, "Can I have my nanocom back?"

"Sure."

"So what do we do now?" Ace asks.

"Wait out the challenge." Kenneth answers. "The oil drums need to be there so we should just make our way back to the Jumbo Jet and wait around there until Fusion Jack shows up."

"I hate waiting." Buttercup grumbles.

An Hour and a half later, Total Drama Jumbo Jet:

Epic's POV:

The others just laze around as we wait out the challenge.

In the time that we were waiting Ben explained that Azmuth made a way for the Ultimatrix to function normally sometime before the first time travel mission and that it was only temporary. Hopefully he'll be able to get that issue resolved quickly enough because he's our way home and we could really use his aliens against Fusion Samurai Jack.

Now I'm on watch duty. It is BORING! Just watching the oil drums and people walk in and out of the plane, couldn't have been worse and with the already darkening skies I wonder how they expect anything to happen.

"Everybody up!" Kenneth shouts.

In a flash I'm facing my leader with my blade at my side.

Everyone else has their weapons out and faces Kenneth, but the boy is already running.

"What's he running for?" Cody asked.

I shrug. "I dunno, but we better follow him."

And like that all six of us are clambering over each other to chase after him.

The boy skids to a halt and the rest of us stop as well.

"You can come out now!" Kenneth shouts. "I know you're there!"

Liv comes up behind him and clears his throat. "Kenneth, there's nothing there."

Kenneth doesn't break his glare and sure enough out of the sand Fusion Matter begins to pool. Soon once the pool was about the size of a large puddle it rose and began to form into a body.

Everyone gasped. The Fusion before us was not Fusion Jack.

This Fusion was just about the height of each of us, no taller than Ace who was the tallest of us. He wore a yellow short sleeved shirt whose sleeves were lime green and blue jeans. Like most Fusions he had skin made of bubbling Fusion Matter that festered even as he stood still and deep, soul sucking crimson eyes devoid of any pupils. His hair was in the likeness of a Fusion Spawn. It was Fusion Kenneth.

"Never could fool you. Could I, Kenny?" The Fusion chuckled as it stretched and yawned as if it were bored.

"Wow, so this is Kenneth's infamous Fusion?" Ben asked. "Never thought that I'd see you in person, I thought you were a legend."

"At your disservice, Ben Tennyson." Fusion Kenneth bows.

Kenneth growls. "Shut up. What are you doing here?"

The Fusion clone laughed. "What do you think? Following orders and making sure that certain things happen. Nothing that you need to know about though."

"I can take a pretty good guess…" I say.

The Fusion chuckles. "I doubt that."

"You want to set it up so that the Jumbo Jet will blow up here." Cody said.

Fusion Kenneth's eyes actually widened in surprise. "Yes er… well- How did you know?"

"Just good at what we do." Buttercup smirked.

"And that includes kicking your ass." Ace added as he cracked his power gloved knuckles.

Kenneth laughed. "Who? Little old me?"

"Get ready to get a taste of Fourarms!" Ben shouted as he slammed his hand on the Ultimatrix.

What appeared in his place was probably the alien we least expected. He was a humanoid alien that had the exact same body shape of the average adult male with the exception of the three hooked horns that came out of the monster's forehead. His body was made entirely of the black expanse of space and filled with millions of tiny stars along with a white border that seemed to contain him to his body. Like all of the other alien forms he had the same emerald green eyes and the Ultimatrix symbol on his chest.

Cody's eyes widened in surprise. "Woah Alien X! He actually does exist."

"Well duh, there is a nano of the guy." Liv rolled his eyes. "The DNA sample had to come from somewhere."

"I know, but still." Cody sighed.

"Well we've got a real problem on our hands if he's anything like the nano." Ace pointed out. "He does absolutely nothing."

"Guys this is nice and all but if we're gonna fight then we just should." The Fusion deadpanned. "I don't wanna waste time and I've got other things that Fuse wants me to do."

"Great, let's do it." Buttercup says before zooming off towards him.

The Fusion rolls his eyes and simply sidesteps her before quickly turning and sending a glob of Fusion Matter at her that knocked her to the ground.

"Rash." The Fusion chuckled. "I like it, but it doesn't look so good on you, sweetie."

Cody pulled out his pistols and fired down on the Fusion.

Fusion Kenneth however deflected each shot with his bare hands without even batting an eye.

"Are you kidding me?" Cody asked.

"No." Fusion Kenneth laughed.

"Rhetorical question, dude!" I shout as I draw my sword and begin to rush towards the Fusion, Ace by my side.

We both rush to the Fusion, Buttercup having gotten up and following after us. The other three keep at a distance as they make back up fire for us.

I make a stab at the Fusion while Ace punches it right in the gut. Buttercup follows it up by delivering an uppercut to the Fusion's face as well.

Fusion Kenneth takes all the blows along with the bullet fire and just smirks. "Seriously, is that it?"

"Kinda…" I chuckle.

Fusion Kenneth then grabs Ace and throws him away from him as if he were garbage. I'm the next one to be chucked through the air and after a little tussle with Buttercup she's the one thrown into me.

We rise to our feet and are about to charge the Fusion again.

Kenneth, stand between us.

"You guys go and finish the mission," He states.

He cocks his riffle at that.

"But what about you?" Ace asks.

Kenneth starts off towards his Fusion, firing shots that it blocks. He meets it only for the Fusion to throw him back towards us. "Get going. I said."

We sigh but nod. Buttercup scoops up Alien X and together we all run back to the Total Drama Jumbo Jet.

"Sierra hasn't blown up the plane yet." Cody stated.

"But it's pretty late." Liv stated.

"We can make it!" Ace chants. "Come on, don't give-"

BOOM!

"Up…" The boy squeaks.

"MY PLANE?!" We hear Chris shout.

"Sierra!" We hear Cody's voice ring out as well.

And the rest is too quiet for us to hear.

Fusion Kenneth runs past us and laughs. "Thank you for coming, everyone!"

He then breaks down into Fusion Matter and slithers away.

We see Kenneth come soon after before falling to his knees and yelling.

"Missed him again!"

Finally Ben's Ultimatrix times out and we see the teenage boy again.

He gives a sheepish grin to Buttercup before the girl rolls her eyes and harshly drops him to the floor.

"So…" Ben dusts his jacket off. "Did we win?"

Everyone lets out an annoyed groan at this.

The Present, Dex Labs

Upon our arrival back in the laboratory, Computress asks us what went wrong.

XANA just gives us an annoyed sigh and tells us that when Dexter gets back he'll decide what to do with us.

And with that we say our goodbyes to Cody and Buttercup and are off doing our own thing once again.

Present Day Ways A/N:

So… I don't have a lot of things to say in this one.

Some dumb jokes that are just really lame and immature. That's also something that exists in CNSE so I'm not entirely surprised about that. Though at least they're mostly attributed to Cody which fits.

Blossom and Dexter are still cringe.

At the time I didn't have a ton of internet access so I was going off of a lot of things on memory, so I think I just straight up forgot that Ben's Omnitrix/Ultimatrix was broken and made a quick fix to address it. Eh…

Alien X being in this chapter is really funny.

I don't know why I wrote the entirety of This is How We Will End it into the chapter or why the Cody and Sierra idea.
