Natsu groaned as he woke up, he was covered in sweat, hickies, scratches, and bite marks. He groaned some more as he sat up. He looked around confused, seeing that he was in a hotel room. He couldn't remember anything. He then felt something snuggle into him and looked down beside him. His eyes widened as he saw his little sister naked in bed with him. She was covered in hickies and teeth marks. He looked down at her shocked and confused.

Natsu; "What the?"

He tried to remember what happened, but he couldn't remember. So, he slowly got out of bed, and was shocked to see that he wasn't wearing any pants or underwear. He shook his head, and quickly got dressed, trying to remember what happened. Just then there was some pounding on the door, which shocked Hana awake. She groaned and sat up.

Hana: "What the? What time is it?"

Natsu: "Don't know. Get dressed."

She looked over at her brother confused, before looking down at herself. Her eyes widened and she covered herself in the blanket.

Hana: "W... Why am I naked!?"

Natsu: "I have no idea, but someone's at the door, and it's going to look weird if we're in the same room naked."

Hana blushed in embarrassment and nodded her head. She quickly got dressed as the person knocked on the door again. Natsu sighed before answering the door. He opened it to reveal the innkeeper.

Innkeeper: "Look, a month is up, you may leave now."

Hana and Natsu looked at the innkeeper confused.

Natsu: "What?"

Innkeeper: "Yes, you only paid for a month and the month is up. Unless you pay for another month."

They looked at the innkeeper still confused. He noticed this.

Innkeeper: "Oh, do you not remember coming here and paying for this room for the month?"

They nodded their heads.

Innkeeper: "Well, last month, you two showed up and paid for this room for the whole month. It was a lot of jewels, but truth be told, I was losing customers by the loud noises you two were making in here."

They looked at the innkeeper shocked, but suddenly it all came back to Natsu like a train hit him full force.

Natsu: "Wait...was it Spring?"

Innkeeper: "Yes, I suppose it was Spring, even though I have no idea what that has to do with anything."

Natsu's eyes widened as he fully understood what must have happened. He took a deep gulp before looking back at the innkeeper.

Natsu: "U... Um we'll have our things packed and leave soon."

The innkeeper smiled and nodded his head. Natsu closed the door and turned around his back pressed against the door in horror. Hana looked at her brother confused. She swung her legs off the bed but cringed a little as she had back pain. She looked at her brother so lost and confused.

Hana; "Su-Su, what's wrong?"

Natsu looked up at his sister, and his eyes widened even more as he saw the red scales that covered the left side of her neck. He felt like he was going to throw up at any moment. His back slid to the floor as he placed his head into his hands.

Natsu: "F... Fuck!"

Hana looked down at her brother worried and confused. She couldn't remember anything like he did, and it worried her.

Hana: "Su-Su...what happened?"

Natsu didn't say anything as he started to breathe heavily. He just couldn't believe that happened. He couldn't believe he let his heat take control and do that to his own sister. He felt horrible, taking away his own sister's choice of who her mate was going to be. He just...he couldn't let her make a mistake with Boren and regret it later when she finds out she didn't truly love him, and it was all a love charm. He also knew Boren wouldn't stop with Hana. He would use the love charm on other girls, and Hana would get jealous, and hurt those girls, or worse, she would get depressed and end up taking her own life. He also knew Boren would sell his sweet little sister in trafficking and he couldn't let that happen to her. He's her big brother and he was meant to protect her, not take advantage of her like that.

Hana; "Su-Su...what happened?"

Natsu: "God damnit! I'm your brother for fuck sakes, and I... I should have known better!"

She looked down at Natsu confused, before slowly getting out of bed and making her way over to her brother. She sat down in front of him and placed her hand on his knee. He looked up at her shocked and worried that he might hurt her again.

Hana; "Su-Su...what happened?"

Natsu took a deep breath to calm himself down, so he could explain to his little sister without freaking her out.

Natsu; "It appears...when I came to rescue you from Boren...something...happened."

She looked at him so lost and confused. She didn't know who Boren was.

Hana: "Why did you need to resecure me?"

Natsu: "Happy took you to this town to help you look for a mate. Instead, you guys ran into Boren, a guy that was using a love charm on the girls here to make them think they were in love with him. It worked on you, and you thought he was your mate.'

Hana's eyes widened in shock and confusion, because she didn't remember any of this.

Hana: "O... Okay, so you came to save me?"

Natsu; "Yes...and I did...but I... I forgot to take the blockers before I left the house, when I got to you and took you away from Boren, I started to smell something sweet...yet smoking."

Hana grinned, thinking that her brother had finally found his mate.

Hana: "Wait, so you found your mate?!"

Natsu cringed now at the word mate, because he knew who his mate was. He felt conflicted because on one hand, he remembered everything now, and he remembered how good it felt. But on the other hand, their siblings and shouldn't be doing something like that.

Natsu: "I did, but so did you."

She looked at him shocked and excited. She's been looking for her mate for three years now, so she was excited to finally find them.

Hana: "I did!?"

Natsu: "Y... Yeah. Then like that innkeeper said...I brought us here...for a whole month."

Hana; "Wait...but why?"

Natsu sighed and rubbed his face. He didn't want to tell his little sister in detail about how they fucked each other for a whole month.

Natsu: "Hana...think about it. We both started to smell our mates at the same time, then I took us here...for a whole month. Then we wake up covered in hickies, scratch marks, and bite marks."

She looked at him shocked, but then blushed in embarrassment as she finally got what her brother was trying to tell her.

Hana: "W... Wait, are you telling me...we, um...that we."

Natsu: "Yes, Hana. We did."

Her eyes widened as she looked at her brother, shocked. She started to freak out as well.

Hana: "But I thought...why would our mates be each other?"

Natsu: "We pick someone we truly love and feel a deep connection too, so then we end up with someone we would want to live the rest of our lives with. I guess our love for each other...ran that deep. So, much that the animal part of us...mistook it for THAT type of love."

Hana blushed and reached up to the left side of her neck. Her fingers touched her neck, and she gasped as she felt the scales on her neck.

Hana: "So... we're mated for life?"

Natsu sighed and nodded his head. He didn't truly want it to be like this, but they were mated for life. He didn't think his mating season would end up like this. He thought he would pick someone that...you know...wasn't related to him by blood. Then Hana would do the same.

Hana: "It's my fault, isn't it?"

Natsu snapped his eyes open as he looked at his little sister shocked and confused.

Natsu: "What? No! Of course not!"

She teared up and used her sleeve to wipe her tears. Natsu's felt his heart ache at this and scooted closer to his sister. He almost felt a pull to get closer and comfort her. More than he normally used to get with her...you know...before they mated.

Natsu: "Why would you think this was your fault?"

Hana: "Because...you marked four years ago to protect me from Sting. Had I just sucked it up and chose him, none of this would have happened!"

Natsu's eyes widened, and he cupped his sister's head into his hands. He started into her eyes as tears rolled down her cheeks. Natsu, without thinking, licked away the tears. Hana blushed as she looked at her brother shocked and confused.

Natsu: "Never and I mean NEVER think this was your fault. Had you done that, Hana, you would have spent the rest of your life with someone you didn't love. That would have hurt you to the point where you would have ended your own life, then Sting would have ended his. I did what I did to protect you both."

Hana looked at her brother shocked, but then she cried more and wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him. Natsu sighed and wrapped his arms around her waist as he hugged her as well. They stayed like this for a bit, until there was knocking at the door.

Natsu: "That's probably the innkeeper."

Hana sniffed and nodded her head. They got up from the floor and Natsu opened the door, expecting to see the innkeeper, but he was shocked to see Happy instead.

Happy: "There you guys are!"

They looked at Happy shocked and worried.

Happy: "You guys just vanished for a whole month without telling anyone! What happened?!"

They couldn't speak...how were they supposed to tell their friend that they just fucked each other for a whole ass month.

Natsu: "Um...well."

Happy: "Hana...what's up with your neck?"

Hana gasped as she covered the mark with her hands. Happy still saw it and his eyes widened as he quickly realized what happened.

Happy: "no way! You two did not!? Did you?!"

Natsu sighed and slowly nodded his head. Happy looked at Natsu shocked.

Happy: "How!?"

Natsu: "I forgot to take my blockers before I left the house that day...and well...turns out we were each other mates, and one thing led to another and now...here we are."

Happy looked at Natsu shocked and worried.

Happy; "What are you going to tell everyone back at the guild?"

Natsu: "The truth."

They looked at him shocked and concerned.

Hana: "Su-Su...are you sure?"

He sighed and nodded his head. He wasn't actually so sure how everyone was going to react to the news that he fucked his own sister, but he knew they needed to know the truth. They wouldn't be able to hide it forever.

Natsu: "We wouldn't be able to hide it forever. So... it's now or never."

They nodded their heads, and they headed out. Back to the guild...to tell everyone the news.

(Time skip)

They had gotten back to the guild, and everyone was asking them a bunch of questions the moment they stepped through the guild doors. Macao, Wakaba, Alzack, and Bisca could see the red scales that covered Hana's left side of her neck, and they grew confused because it looked different now. Natsu walked over to the stage with Hana, and he jumped on it, as she stayed on the ground below. She didn't want all the attention on her right now.

Natsu: "now, listen up everyone."

Everyone stopped talking and looked over to their guild master confused.

Natsu: "I know a lot of you might be wondering where Hana and I were for the past month."

They all nodded their heads, wanting to know that as well.

Natsu: "Before I tell you. I need to explain something to you all. Us dragon slayers...we go through mating season just like animals do."

Everyone looked at Natsu shocked, because they didn't know that.

Laki: "oh, I read about that! Since dragon slayers take on the abilities of dragons, they go through mating season, which starts in Spring."

Natsu: "Yes, it normally starts once the dragon slayer turns 18. It's the reason Sting tried to attack Hana at the Grand Magic Games four years ago."

Everyone looked at their guild master shocked to learn this.

Max: "wait...then why haven't we seen you be affected? You're like what...21."

Natsu: "That's because I've been blocking my heats for the past four years."

To that everyone looked at him shocked and confused.

Warren: "what why?!"

Natsu: "Four years ago, I made a descion, and before you say anything about it. Marking isn't always seen as sexual."

Everyone nodded their heads, knowing that.

Natsu: "Four years ago...I marked Hana."

To that everyone looked at Natsu shocked.

Warren; "Whoa! Marked her?!"

Natsu: "Yes, I did this to prevent Sting from sniffing her out and kidnapping her. Had he done that, two things would have happened. He would have forced himself on her, or he would have ended his own life out of depression."

Everyone looked at him shocked, but they understood now why he did it. To protect both his little sister and Sting.

Max; "Okay, so for four years you went on without mating?"

Natsu; "Yes. Then once Hana turned 18, I explained everything to her. She's been looking for her mate for three years."

Laki: "Damn...three years."

Natsu; "Yes, we find our mates by someone we truly love and have a deep connection too. So, then we end up with someone we would want to spend the rest of our lives with.'

Nab: "That makes sense."

Everyone nodded their heads, agreeing with Nab.

Natsu: "But then this year...Happy and Hana set out to Hargeon to look for her mate and they ran into Broen."

Everyone gasped as they looked at Natsu shocked and concerned. They knew from stories from Lucy about that man.

Macao; "I thought he was arrested!"

Natsu: "I did too. It also appears he still had his love charm, because he used it on Hana, and she thought she was in love with him."

Everyone gasped in shock and horror. They looked over at Hana, who blushed in embarrassment and tried to hide her neck.

Natsu: "Don't worry. Happy got me in time and I stopped her from doing something she might...well regret."

They all sighed in relief, glad to know she didn't mate and mark that man.

Natsu: "But here comes the issue."

Bisca: "The issue?"

Natsu: "Um, yes. While walking back home...we both smelled our mates at the same time."

Max: "Wait...I thought you were blocking your heats?"

Natsu: "I was, but I rushed out of the house before taking my blockers. Anyway, we smelled our mates...um...which just so happened...to be...each other."

Everyone paused as they looked at him shocked and confused. What he just said didn't set in their minds just yet. Until Max jumped up from his seat. Everyone looked over at him.

Max; "Wait...are you trying to tell us that you and Hana...are MATES!?"

Everyone's eyes widened as they looked back at their guild master, shocked. He sighed and nodded his head.

Laki: "Oh, I read about that!"

Everyone paused as they looked at the girl confused.

Alzack: "You have?"

Laki: "Yeah, animals forget familiar relations, such as a mother forgetting her son, or a father forgetting her daughter. They don't remember and end up cross breeding. I guess because dragon slayers are...you know, dragons, the animal part in them forget that as well."

Natsu blushed in embarrassment but nodded his head. Everyone looked at Natsu shocked.

Macao: "Wait...is this why you two have been missing for a whole month!?"

Wakaba; "Whoa, that means for a whole month, you two have been-"

Natsu: "Um...yeah."

Everyone looked at him shocked, but to their shock, Max said something so shocking.

Max; "Okay...so who cares."

Everyone looked over at Max shocked that he would say that.

Natsu: "W... What?"

Max: "Look, sure it's gross. A brother and sister having sex. But you said so yourself. Had you fought back the urge and rejected Hana...something bad would have happened."

Everyone looked at Max shocked, but his words were starting to make sense to them.

Macao: "He has a point, Natsu. Had you fought the urge, Hana here would have thought you were rejecting her as a mate, and it would have gone bad."

Natsu; "Yes, but-"

Wakaba: "No buts! We, rather you two sleep with each other, then die!"

Everyone started to agree, and the siblings looked around the guild shocked. They were NOT expecting this type of reaction.

Natsu: "Okay, I was excepting you guys to be disgusting with us...not supporting it."

Laki: "Well, what can we do, master? It's basic animal nature."

Everyone nodded their heads and Natsu couldn't help but feel the stress he had, lift off his shoulders.

Hana: "So... you guys don't mind?"

Warren: "Nah, not really. As long as you two are REALLY affection, like those two."

He jabbed a thumb over to Bisca and Alzack. They blushed as they looked at Warren shocked and upset.

Alzack: "Hey! We can be affection if we want to!"

MAx; "But we don't want to see you two sucking face all the time!"

Everyone laughed and the couple blushed in embarrassment. The siblings looked at their guild mates shocked. Natsu sat down on the stage and slowly reached his hand on and grabbed his sister's hand into his. She looked over at him confused.

Macao: "I guess that's it huh?"

He looked over at the Dragneel siblings as they looked at him shocked and confused.

Macao: "You two...are officially a couple."

They looked at him shocked, but slowly nodded their heads. Everyone cheered and threw a party for the new couple. Natsu and Hana looked at the guild shocked, but then Natsu smiled, feeling a little bit better, knowing that now he had the support from his guild. He looked over at Hana as she looked back up him. He smiled at her, and she smiled back up at him. She then leaned up and planted a kiss on his lips. His eyes widened for a moment before he kissed her back.
