Magnus POV:

'Look at them. These poor things.' I lamented the fact that these poor being were subjected to this. Abhorring slavery was something ingrained into me. Something that both Magnus and Cawl seemed to take issue with. It doesn't matter however. In the end, my choice remains. I will rebel against slavery.

Taking a knee he raised a hand. A subtle glow forming in his massive palm as he reached out to an elderly human.

'If they are to listen to me and join, then they are to see what I can do. It's the easiest way of winning them to my side.'

The glow left his palm, leaving a subtle trail of green with hints of gold. It wrapped around the elderly women's body. His wings unfurled slightly. Helping him gain his balance as he felt something leave him. He gave a shard of himself - a fragment of Magnus to the women.

This was not an accident, unlike the raid of Prospero by the Space Wolves - his mind rippled as the thought crossed him. Magnus' soul was not over it yet, it would appear.

'It would be prudent to avoid any form of canine for now' he mused.

The crowd gasped as they witnessed the change the women undertook. Her pale and wrinkled skin smoothed and gained colour. As if her whole body was blushing, a tint of red spread across her. Permanently marking her. Her eyes opened with a renewed vigour, and they glowed slightly. Not by much, but noticeable if you looked closely.

No one could speak. No one knew what to say. They had heard rumour of a Jedi and the power they would wield through the galaxy. But this was beyond the stories they had heard. No this was - should - be impossible.

Yet it still occurred.

They watched again as Magnus got up, slowly. He started to speak once more to the crowd, eagerly awaiting his words.

"You have witnessed what I can do" he started. His voice echoing in each of their minds, deep, it demanded respect. All were willing to give it.

"Join me, so that we may make something of this outer rim. So that we may rise up and show this galaxy that we do not need this republic. That we do not require empty promises, that would see us enslaved and used as bargaining chips or a currency."

The wind died down. The rustle of the leaves stopped. It was silent. Magnus had said his piece. They all just had to decide wether or not they would accept and join him.

"I will join you." The women he had changed spoke with a new found confidence. She had spoken first.

"I will come too." Spoke Kori, the twilek's light purple skin contrasting Magnus' own as she walked towards him.

"I will go/We will come" slowly echoed around the cavern. At least from the races that could speak. The wookie at the rear grunted and made a sort of call to agree.

The people had made their choice. They would join Magnus on his world.

Kori POV:

We followed the giant - Magnus as he declared his name was to the pirate ship. It was big enough to carry us all. Although we didn't know to wear.

Magnus had admitted to me, and only to me so far, that he was unaware of his world's coordinates. He wouldn't be able to fly us there using the ship.

It puzzled me. I had been a pilot, nothing special but I could fly pretty much any ship in this damned galaxy. And he simply smirked at me. The cheek of him.

Still I followed him along with the rest of us. I didn't know their names. We were kept gagged and bound. We didn't speak. We haven't been in that cave long enough to know each other yet either. We were all strangers. But now we had a chance to truly unite and bond over something.

"So how are we getting to your home Magnus? Truly how?" I questioned as we watched the last of the people board from the control room.

"You will see, simply fly this ship into orbit Twilek and-"

"Kori, my name is Kori" I interrupted him.

"fly the ship into orbit then Kori." he instructed me. I happily obliged to get off this world.

As the ship lifted off slowly, the engines whining and it slowly rising above the trees. It accelerated and curved, going up and out the atmosphere.

Magnus raised both hands. Reality shuddered at his command, twisting and distorting. It cracked and then ripped itself open. The warp was exposed.

His hands remained up, and a shield slowly formed as the ship went through the portal. The hull shuddered as it passed through the opening. Space was quiet, but this new quiet in the warp was unnerving. Like something was waiting to happen - to kickstart it all.

Kori had lost control of the ship, it ignored her every command. She wrestled with the controls until she felt his stare. She looked back and Magnus' one eye was lit up and looking at her. "Stop and calm yourself Kori" he spoke slowly. She did so.

The shop continued through the warp. Its passengers looking outside through the hull windows. In awe of this new reality unfolding before them.

Then it exited. A new portal was ripped open above the tower and Magnus released his control. The ship touched down gently in an open area. Magnus had hoped this could be turned into some type of farm, but for now it would be a port.

Time Skip

Magnus POV:

'The people have set in well it would seem. Although I would've like for this to happen in the near future, it had happened now. It changes nothing. My plans continue. I know have One hundred and seventy six souls to look after, these people. They all have a purpose and they seem to relish in it.' Magnus thought to himself overlooking his newly developing world.

A farm had been created in the distance, growing some form of plant. A couple of the slaves he rescuers had some experience on farms or working with farmers. It helped them survive and sustain themselves now.

Each person has something they are good at. It is just a matter of finding it and bringing it up to be of use.

There was a knock at the door, interrupting my thoughts. I sensed her approach, as she always seems to come around this time.

"Come in Aleesha" I spoke softly.

A slender woman, dressed in clothes that lied about her true age. Her skin still retaining the same red hue as when she received his shard.

"I've come for my lesson teacher." Aleesha spoke softly. Standing in-front of Magnus she looked so small. So weak.

"Then come Aleesha, we will go over your control again. Only with true control you can hold mastery over the warp and the abilities it gives us both."

"I've been doing what you say but My control isn't changing much" she begrudgingly spoke, almost downhearted by the lack of progress."

I smiled as I stepped towards her. " You are like oa candle Aleesha, so limited now but you can become a great flame soon, if only your are kindled the right way. That is what I am doing."

Aleesha looked down at the floor, then up. Straining her neck to reach his eye. "I have a job for you" I spoke, interrupting her thoughts - whatever they may be.

I walked to my desk, signalling for her to follow. "With the growth of this world, we need more people. More skills and more hands. I want you to lead a raiding party against pirates and rescue the slaves they may have. Take anything of value and bring it here." I spoke softly.

She listened intently, and I could see how she appreciated the responsibility it gave her. She wouldn't go alone though. No, I needed her to succeed. The pilot taking her would be Kori, several other people will act as support, and we need a medic to help treat the rescued. A minimum of 6 then. It was doable at this point.

"What do you say Aleesha?" I questioned her, awaiting a response I knew I would get.

So I'm back after a couple days. It's been hectic with life and travelling recently so I haven't had time to cook up anything new.

This chapter we see Magnus start truly forming a civilisation on the world. I still haven't given it a name. I'll probably just go with something generic like Terra or Prospero though.

I'll start building up some more background events going forwards. Crime bosses, the hutts and bounty hunters hearing rumours of a new haven or something like that.

The jedi feeling more of the warp now Magnus is freely using it and training someone with it. I'll also star having Magnus meet other worlds on a wider setting. Maybe create an alter ego for him as a businessman and start mass producing imperium tech to sell off.

That's it's from me really - since i'm going to be free for a while i might make some more chapters but we will see.
