Deeks went to the store to get groceries, and while he was there, a downpour started, and then his car won't start.
'What do you mean you're stuck?' Kensi asked when he called.
'My car won't start! Could be because of the rain or because it needs to be looked at, or something! Either way, I'm stuck here for a while.' Deeks replied. 'Is there anyway you could pick me up?'
'Wish I could, but my car is still in the shop. Getting bullets out is one thing, but the repairs itself take a while!'
It looked like Deeks was going to be stuck there until a tow truck arrived, which would be who knows when! But luckily, Granger noticed his dilemma and offered him a ride home.
'Thanks man, for helping me out there.' He said in gratitude.
'Anytime. Besides, if Henrietta found out one of her agents was in need of help and I didn't offer to help when I could've, she'd chew me out. And I'm in no mood for a lecture.' Granger replied.
'Yikes. Soooo, you definitely have a lot of groceries here. Does Hetty really eat this much? I always thought she mainly survives on tea and whiskey.'
(laughs). 'Believe it or not, she eats more then I do. And she's definitely better at cooking then me, I'm still trying to figure out how to make breakfast without setting off the smoke alarms!'
'Oooof, I know how that feels. Heeeey, you use extra soft toilet paper too? I love using it.' Deeks asked.
'It's not for me, it's for Hetty. I use the regular kind. A long time ago, she had a bad experience with using the bathroom overseas when she had to use toilet paper that she said felt like rubbing sandpaper up her you-know-wheres. Since then, she'll only use the extra soft kind if she can.' Granger replied.
'That, was definitely more info then I wanted to know.'
'That's not all, do you know how she determines what to wear in the morning?'
Deeks was quite happy when he got home.
'Hey, you're home! Was that Granger?' Kensi asked.
'Yeah, we were shopping at the same store and he gave me a lift. I now know what kind of toilet paper our bosses use at home.' Deeks replied. 'And I'm not sure how I feel about it.'
'Oof. What? They both use extra soft? It's not really embarrassing.'
'No, turns out, only 1 of them uses regular. And well, I don't really want to get into the details, it's too weird. Let's put this stuff away!'
