A/N: Finally, we have the next chapter. And you can expect this one to be the most surprising of all. Plus, it'd end the Buggy Arc sooner than you think.
One Piece: Adventures of the East Blue Sea
Chapter 8: Epic Free-For-All Showdown!; Nami has Devil Fruit Powers?!
First, Mohji gave the order to his pet lion.
"RICHIE! ATTACK!", Mohji ordered before Richie, his lion, pounced and swiped his paw toward Luffy.
"Luffy!", Salvia shouted before she went in front of him and blocked the strike, though not without getting pushed back toward a nearby house.
Fortunately, she only hit the wall and landed on the ground.
"Luffy, are you all right?", Salvia asked, standing up and turning to see Luffy, who was practically and literally, in his case, flattened.
"Uh, kinda. Hold on a minute.", Luffy said in response.
Then, Luffy inflated himself enough to where he's not flat anymore by pressing his thumb in his mouth and blowing on it.
"Ah. That's better.", Luffy grinned.
Then, next up, it showed ChouChou standing in defiance.
"Well... Not ready to give up yet.", Mohji said.
ChouChou then leapt toward Richie only for the latter to strike him down again, spilling some of his blood on the bone sign, making Salvia gasp in horror as everything started to slow down, her hastening heartbeat the only sound she could ever hear. It beat faster than before and it just went faster and faster as she saw ChouChou's damaged body and then... she snapped, visibly seen with a red line passing from behind Salvia's head and then expanding to a red domain while her black eyes turned bright red amongst her white sclerae)!
"Huh?", Mohji puzzled, starting to get concerned.
"You shouldn't have tried to take away that dog's treasure. Because now, she's gonna kick your butt.", Luffy said intensely as Salvia's body started to grow again to a point where her clothes seemingly burst off her growing body once it got wide enough before evaporating into smoke.
But it got worse for him there. Salvia's teeth sharpened into fangs all while her body turned dark brown and her blue fin emerged on the back, which truly pushed Mohji into a torrent of inescapable fear.
"WHAT?! NO, IT CAN'T BE!", Mohji exclaimed.
Then, to finish the change, Salvia's mouth distorted into a lizard-like snout again, prompting an inhuman, beastly roar at Mohji and Richie, making the two of them scream in fear and shock (mostly the former for his case).
"RICHIE, PLEASE PROTECT ME FROM THAT SEA KING MONSTER!", Mohji whined.
As shocked as he was, Richie charged in toward Salvia only to get flicked away and knocked out cold, his eyes turned into comedic spirals, which shocked Mohji completely out of fear.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!", Mohji shouted in fear before finally passing out and landing on the ground, even foaming at the mouth.
The moment this happened, Salvia gave a calm, yet tense look with her eyes and snout-like mouth returning back to normal and she stopped her charge before she could follow through on it in time to see Mohji paralyzed with fear.
"You're so pathetic. And you call yourself a pirate when a measly Sea King frightens you.", Salvia scolded remorselessly.
At that moment, Nami and the mayor arrived. But when they did, they were aghast with fear and terror upon seeing Salvia's sea king mode up close, both screaming.
"HOW THE HECK IS A SEA KING ON LAND!", Nami and the mayor shouted in unison, puzzling Salvia before he turned to notice them.
Luffy also turned to see them and then spoke up.
"Hey, don't worry. It's just Salvia.", Luffy assured.
But it didn't help Nami calm down at all.
"HOW AM I NOT SUPPOSED TO WORRY ABOUT THIS!?", Nami shouted in response.
Then, Salvia popped out of the storehouse, carrying the 5 boxes.
"There you go, ChouChou. Figured you could use a treat after what happened here today.", Salvia grinned before she set the boxes down near ChouChou and sat down.
"Here you go.", Salvia said as she did so.
At that moment, Zoro sat up and sighed.
"Ahh, that's better. So what'd I miss?", Zoro asked before seeing an unconscious Mohji and Richie, the former of which was traumatized and muttering to himself, carried by Salvia.
"There's a sea king on land...! There's a sea king on land...!", Mohji muttered to himself.
"And what's with this guy?", Zoro asked.
"Well, it's an interesting story, actually.", Salvia responded.
Moments later, Luffy, Nami, Salvia, and Zoro were back where they last saw Buggy and his crew.
"So, you mind telling me why we're back here again?", Zoro asked.
"Yeah, there's nothing there but rubble.", Nami replied.
"If Mohji's one of the buggy pirates, then that means they're still out there. Naturally, it also means there's a good chance Buggy's still alive. So, I just need to know for sure... if Buggy the immortal's still out there.", Salvia replied with a tense glare.
After a few moments of silence, Nami spoke up.
"Even if Buggy is still out there, how are we gonna find him?", Nami asked.
"Good question.", Zoro agreed.
"I know.", Luffy chuckled a bit.
The rubber man took a big, deep breath. And then...
"BIG NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSE!", Luffy screamed, quickly shocking Buggy and his men, who had yet to be seen by the Straw Hats, also worrying Salvia and Nami.
"Is that really the best you could think of, Luffy?", Salvia asked.
"That's the worst thing you could've said to him!", Nami shouted in worry.
"Oh, you darned, flashy idiot...! I won't stand for this! TAKE AIM AND FIRE THE BUGGY BALL!", Buggy shouted before a cannon was then aimed at them.
"Why'd you have to say that?!", Nami groaned.
"Come on, Luffy. We gotta go!", Zoro urged.
"You go ahead.", Luffy responded.
"We'll be fine, Zoro. Just watch us.", Salvia added.
"I'll start. Gum-Gum Balloon!", Luffy spoke as he laid down and then inflated himself like a balloon.
"Now for me!", Salvia said.
"TIME TO DIE!", Buggy shouted before the buggy ball was fired.
But just then, Salvia bounced on Luffy's belly and jumped up.
"That won't work!", Salvia discouraged to Buggy before she then used her belly to catch the buggy ball.
This shocked the Buggy Pirates greatly.
"What are they?!", one buggy pirate exclaimed.
"Did she catch the Buggy Ball?!", Buggy shouted.
"Hope you know how to catch, Buggy!", Salvia smirked before she bounced the buggy ball right back at the Buggy Pirates.
"It's headed right for us!", the buggy pirates shouted right before it hit the ceiling below them, causing an explosion as a result just as Salvia landed on the ground while Luffy deflated back to normal.
"Whew... I think I got 'em.", Salvia sighed.
"They could've warned me...", Zoro said.
Among the wreckage, most of the Buggy Pirates were defeated, but only the captain seemed undamaged as he held his two crewmates up, covered in soot and winded by the explosion.
"How dare you try to flashily do me in...!", Buggy growled before setting them down.
"Unreal. Using his men as a shield.", Nami commented.
"Seriously? Using your own men as a shield? This is low even for you!", Salvia glared.
Just then, Mohji regained consciousness and sat up in surprise.
"What the heck just happened?!", Mohji puzzled.
As soon as he looked around, he became aghast with fear upon seeing Luffy and Salvia up ahead.
"No! It's you two!", Mohji panicked.
"Hi.", Luffy greeted with a wave as Salvia bared her sharp teeth with a growl and a smirk.
"AH, IT'S THOSE DARNED STRAW HATS! AAAAHH! Captain Buggy, we have to be careful! They have Devil Fruit Powers, too! He's a rubber person and she's a chub person! I saw it myself!", Mohji shouted.
"What? Devil Fruits... That explains how they bounced that Buggy Ball back at us.", Buggy realized as someone emerged from behind Mohji, holding up a damaged Richie.
"How do you plan to respond to this insult..., Captain?", the crewmate asked.
"Oh, Cabaji... I don't know, I'm too angry to even think!", Buggy responded.
But Mohi was not pleased with how Richie was in such a condition.
"Put him down, Cabaji! What the heck did you do to my Richie?!", Mohji shouted.
"This cat? I used it as a shield to keep my clothes from getting dirty.", Cabaji explained, setting Richie down as Mohji rushed over to him.
"RICHIE! No, RIchie! Say something, please! Richie!", Mohji shouted in worry as Richie recovered.
But when he did, he became horrified to see Cabaji towering above him. Fearfully, he ran and hid behind a wall.
"Richie...!", Mohji gasped in worry.
He then turned to Cabaji and glared at him. He was mad.
"Dang you! You monster!", Mohji shouted, trying to attack Cabaji in retaliation.
But his attempt failed as Cabaji kicked him away, sending him flying toward Luffy and Salvia.
"OUT OF MY WAY!", Mohji shouted.
"You first!", Salvia retorted right before belly bumping Mohji right into a wall, knocking him out.
"Didn't like that guy, anyway.", Salvia commented.
"Captain Buggy?", Cabaji began.
"Yes, Cabaji?", Buggy asked, looking toward him.
"Allow me to repay their disrespect.", Cabaji requested.
"Fine. But make it a good show for everyone!", Buggy responded.
Cabaji smirked and then leapt into the air with a unicycle, puzzling the group. Then, he landed and proceeded to dart towards them, his sword in hand.
"You may call me Acrobat Cabaji, Captain Buggy's Chief of Staff. You will pay for your insolence.", Cabaji threatened, stretching out his sword to strike Luffy and Salvia.
But before he could do so, Zoro stepped in and stopped the blade with his own.
"I'll clash swords with you.", Zoro spoke.
"It's an honor, Roronoa Zoro. As a swordsman myself, I relish this chance to slay you.", Cabaji responded.
Luffy went toward Zoro.
"Hey, Zoro? You really should get some rest. Let me handle this guy.", Luffy insisted.
"Or better yet, me.", Salvia added.
"Just stay back.", Zoro responded.
"That's the slash wound on his back the captain inflicted on him. The fool...", Cabaji thought with a smirk.
"Arsonist technique!", Cabaji shouted before breathing fire on Zoro, who was barely able to block the fire with his swords right before he, as Luffy, Nami, and Salvia watched in worry, swung a kick at Zoro's left side.
This made him tense a bit before he got his footing.
"Dang it... This is gonna be harder than I thought.", Zoro thought.
"He fights dirty, kicking him instead of using his sword like that!", Nami exclaimed.
"Seriously? Why even wield a sword at all if you're just gonna kick?!", Salvia added.
Buggy chuckled before Cabaji then set his sword down on the ground.
"Acrobat technique... Murder at the Steambath.", Cabaji spoke as he swung his sword enough to produce a smokescreen.
"'Acrobat', my butt. That's just an ordinary dust cloud.", Zoro commented before the sword swung down at him, prompting him to block with two swords, allowing Cabaji to kick him in the gut.
This time, it prompted him to use one of his swords to stop the sliding.
"He did it again!", Nami exclaimed.
Zoro panted as Cabaji smirked at him.
"Again with the kicks?", Zoro thought.
"I suppose now you can see how foolish it was to make an enemy of the Buggy Pirates.", Cabaji laughed.
"To keep fighting with a bad injury... He's crazy! He's hurt so bad, I don't know how he's managing to stay in the fight...", Nami said in worry.
"I don't get it. Why is he doing up-front attacks instead of going for his back injury?", Salvia asked.
Meanwhile, Cabaji just smirked as he remembered the plan a while back before the Straw Hats arrived with an unconscious Mohji.
"Listen, Cabaji. I need to tell you something.", Buggy said to his Chief of Staff.
"What is it, captain?" Cabaji asked.
"During the fight I had with Zoro, I managed to put a nasty slash on his back. So, if you were to attack him there, make it very flashy, got it?", Buggy said with serious seriousness.
"Leave it to me, Captain. I'll make him beg for a quick death.", Cabaji said with a sinister grin.
"Roronoa Zoro... IS FINISHED!", Cabaji shouted as he pedaled toward him.
"You annoying, little upstart... You havin' fun exacerbating my wound? Then go ahead.", Zoro dared.
In no time, Cabaji pedaled until he landed a kick to Zoro, this time, surprising him as well as Luffy, Salvia, and Nami.
"Ouchie...!", Luffy grunted before Zoro was sent flying into a wall where his back hit it, finally making Zoro yell in pain.
Then, Zoro landed on the ground on his knees a Cabaji became perplexed just as much as everyone else watching the fight.
"Why didn't you dodge his attack?", Nami asked.
On his knees as he may be, Zoro bravely stood up as he used his sword to help himself stand up and then wield it as he spoke up.
"Is that enough of a handicap for ya? And now, let me show you... just how superior my skills are to yours.", Zoro smirked, baffling Cabaji.
"Yeah, Zoro! Get him!", Luffy cheered.
"But be careful!", Salvia urged.
"You fool. You've made a vast error in judgment. I won't be mocked...!", Cabaji discouraged.
"My swords aim to be the world's greatest. I refuse to lose even once to anyone who calls himself a swordsman!", Zoro vowed.
"I see. A strong resolve keeps you going. But have no fear. Wounds as bad as yours will be more than enough of an excuse... to losing to me. ", Cabaji sneered.
"To heck with that. If I lose to someone like you, even with these minimal injuries, then I don't have a very bright future ahead of me, do I?", Zoro responded before placing his third sword in his mouth.
"Why, you...!", Cabaji glared.
"All right, yeah!", Luffy shouted.
Then, Salvia realized something as did Nami before they turned to each other.
"Hey, wait a second. It just occurred to me that there's an opportunity we can use.", Salvia grinned.
"Huh? For what?", Luffy puzzled.
Before Salvia could answer, Nami spoke up her thoughts.
"I won't stay and watch this. You pirates can stand around for the rest of time and kill each other for all I care. I mean it doesn't matter to me whether you guys win or lose. I'm gonna take this opportunity to swipe their treasure and get out of here.", Nami smirked.
"Huh?", Luffy puzzled.
"That's... actually what I had in mind. Great plan, Nami. You go on ahead. We'll keep those buggy pirates busy for you.", Salvia assured.
That surprised Nami for a moment before she grinned.
"Well, I'm glad things worked out, then. See ya. Good luck with the fight.", Nami said as she then ran off.
"Yeah, thanks. See ya!", Luffy waved.
"Good luck!", Salvia added.
Meanwhile, the fight raged on.
"Here's a taste of my ultimate acrobatic move.", Cabaji spoke, holding some consistent spinning tops on his hands before flinging them and several more toward Zoro.
"Acrobat Technique: The Dance of a Hundred Kamikaze Tops!", Cabaji shouted.
Meanwhile, Nami looked back from afar.
"They're not normal. Both Luffy and Zoro are completely crazy. But... then there's Salvia to consider.", Nami said as she saw her belly bumping some Buggy Pirates away.
"She seems more sensible than the others, so she practically makes joining them less crazy than I thought it'd be.", Nami said before continuing on.
Buggy chuckled, not knowing that behind him, Nami was breaking through the debris on the floor leading to the basement. When she got down, there was a buggy pirate there, but he seemed asleep. There was even a door up ahead of her, lock and all.
"Here we are. Now, I steal their treasure and their chart and get the heck out of here.", Nami said, picking up a piece of wood nearby before then breaking the lock off.
Back outside, Zoro sliced the Kamikaze tops in half clean.
"Acrobat Technique: A Hike in the Mountains!", Cabaji shouted as he then pedaled up a wall, much to Zoro's shock.
"Fireworks in a cool, summer, breeze!", Cabaji shouted.
"He just got high in the air on his unicycle!", Salvia spoke in shock.
"Whoa...! That's high!", Luffy added.
"Sting of the Unicycle!", Cabaji shouted.
Then, Buggy held out his right arm while holding onto the wrist with his left hand.
"Ground Hugging... Chop-Chop Cannon!", Buggy shouted before firing his right hand.
It was headed straight toward Zoro just as Salvia finished the last of the Buggy Pirates and turned to see what was going on.
"Cabaji! I'll hold him, then you finish him off!", Buggy shouted.
"Done!", Cabaji agreed.
"Zoro! Behind you, watch out!", Salvia shouted before Zoro turned to see Buggy's right hand flying toward him.
"Darn it...!", Zoro thought.
But just then, Luffy stopped Buggy's right hand by stepping on it, much to both Buggy's pain and his frustration.
Zoro was able to dodge Cabaji's attack in time.
"Luffy...!", Zoro said.
"All right! Way to go, Luffy!", Salvia congratulated.
But Buggy was not pleased.
"AAH! YOU BIG JERK!", Buggy shouted.
"If you wanna fight someone... how about me?", Luffy challenged.
"And me. I did just take down all your remaining men, didn't I?", Salvia smirked before sticking her tongue out in a cute way.
Act II
Meanwhile, Nami was in a dark room as she started some fire with a couple of rocks on the bottom of the lantern and placed the cover of it on top, completing it. Afterwards, Nami turned and saw a bounty of gold just behind her.
"Look at all this stuff! And every last bit of it is mine!", Nami chuckled eagerly, checking out the treasure, cradling it in her hands and even wearing a golden crown.
But the joy didn't last long. Suddenly, a sword was planted near the top of her left shoulder. And who should be holding it but one of Buggy's crewmates.
"What do you think you're doing with our treasure?", the crewmate asked before Nami turned around and stood up in shock while the crown fell off.
"Oh, crap... He woke up...!", Nami thought.
But as the crewmate stepped forward, he appeared to be in a drunken state.
"By order of Captain Buggy..., anyone who gets near the treasure will, uh... There should be... more in there...", the pirate groaned, checking his empty bottle.
"Oh, I can't believe I'm doing this...! But as long as he's in the right state of mind...", Nami thought with a hesitant look followed by a smirk.
"You know something? Lots of people are thrilled about having Devil Fruit powers. Like theeeese!", Nami said as she did the one thing he, let alone anyone, hadn't expected to do: literally stretch her neck all the way up to the ceiling.
Safe to say, the sight left him flabbergasted.
"Y-you...! You're made of rubber...?!", the drunk crewmate gasped.
"Some people just wanna use them for whatever they wanna do. Like Luffy, for example. Others, as sensible people they are, like Salvia, just wanna do the right thing with those powers, and I respect them for that. But everyone else just wants these devil fruit powers for their own gain, like your precious Captain Buggy.", Nami continued as she then proceeded to wrap her head around the shocked crewmate's neck.
"And unfortunately for you, I don't belong to any one of those people!", Nami said before then tightening her neck, and her grip, on the crewmate's neck, choking him.
"I never even asked for those powers to begin with! I used to love swimming, but now I can't even do that anymore! And what's worse, Arlong's always wanted me to use my powers to hurt people! You can't imagine what it's like having that kind of life forced on you!", Nami continued before she stretched out her hand, which suddenly started to emit fierce sparks of blue lightning.
"And that's why...! I COMPLETELY HATE THEM!", Nami shouted as she slapped the crewmate.
The resulting slap sent a violent thundershock to the crewmate, zapping him until he's fried. When the spark went out Nami released her grip on the unconscious crewmate and let him fall to the ground before sighing to herself.
"I can't believe I had to use these...!", Nami grumbled before stretching her head back to its normal length.
"But at least he's so drunk he's bound to forget the whole thing. Or at least think it was a dream.", Nami added with a sigh before noticing something on the crewmate: a key to the chest.
Naturally, she opened the lock and the chest, finally finding what she needed as she held it in her hands.
"Yes! The chart of the Grand Line!", Nami grinned.
Meanwhile, Buggy growled as Zoro panted and Cabaji chuckled at him.
"I assure you, I don't need my captain's help to finish you off.", Cabaji smirked.
"Enough...! I'm tired of this...", Zoro panted, earning Cabaji's laughter of victory.
"So, you've finally given up, have you? I must say I'm quite impressed you lasted this long with such serious injuries.", Cabaji responded.
"I think you misunderstood. I'm tired... of watching your boring little sideshow.", Zoro explained, making Cabaji tense in spite.
"So sorry to have disappointed you. How about... my REAL swordsman skills!", Cabaji shouted, drawing his blade, making Luffy and Salvia worried, and pleasing Buggy as a result.
"DIE, ZORO!", Cabaji shouted as he then pedaled toward Zoro.
But he only crossed his arms in opposite directions while holding two swords and one more in his mouth.
"Oni... GIRI!", Zoro shouted.
With that, Zoro cut Cabaji as he went closer to him. A moment afterward, blood gashed out from the 3 slashes that hit him.
"CABAJI!", Buggy exclaimed.
"All right! Way to go, Zoro!", Salvia cheered.
"I can't believe that the Buggy Pirates... were defeated by petty thieves...!", Cabaji groaned weakly in defeat before landing on his back while falling off his unicycle.
"We're not petty thieves... We're pirates.", Zoro said before then collapsing on his knees while using one of his swords as support (at least enough to where he can lay down).
"Zoro!", Luffy spoke in worry.
"Are you okay?", Salvia asked,
"Yeah...! I just... need to sleep for a while.", Zoro said.
"Well..., if that's what you need, go ahead. You've earned it.", Salvia responded.
Then, he turned to Luffy as she continued.
"Looks like Buggy's the only one left. Guess we're gonna take it from here. Right, Luffy?", Salvia asked.
"Oh, yeah! I'm lookin' forward to this!", Luffy grinned, making Buggy tense angrily at the prospect that he's the only one left.
Meanwhile, Nami was dragging the bag of treasure to the ground, taking extra care not to make her arms stretch too much before stopping and then sitting down on the bag.
"I scored an impressive haul from the Buggy Pirates, but hauling treasure is tiring. I guess... it's worth the effort, though.", Nami grinned before then becoming contemplative for a moment and then jumping off the bag back onto the ground.
"Anyway, I gotta find a way off this island, ASAP.", Nami grinned before grabbing the bag.
But instead of picking the bag up, she remembered the straw hats, more specifically Salvia, who actually helped distract the Buggy Pirates long enough for her to get the treasure by her own volition in the first place.
"You go on ahead. We'll keep those buggy pirates busy for you.", Salvia assured.
Remembering this kind action, Nami was now unsure if it was right to leave them on the island at all.
Meanwhile, Buggy was now incredibly miffed at the fact that Mohji and Cabaji were now defeated while the mayor was still unconscious due to fainting sometime earlier and Zoro was now sleeping. Nevertheless, the clown pirate regained his composure.
"You guys are pirates?", Buggy asked.
"Yeah.", Salvia replied.
"We're searching for the Grand Line.", Luffy added.
"Ha! That's not an easy voyage, you know. And I don't think that three half-wits the likes of you can handle it.", Buggy retorted.
"Oh, no?", Salvia snarked with a glare.
"And what will you do if, by some miracle, you manage to make it there? Go on a sightseeing tour, or something?", Buggy asked before laughing.
"Sightseeing...", Buggy spoke while laughing.
"Well, that's part of the plan. But my main goal is to become the biggest pirate there ever was!", Salvia responded.
Nevertheless, Buggy's laughter still continued.
"Well, you're certainly on your way over here, I'll give you that much!", Buggy chuckled, only earning Salvia's smirk.
"And wha... and what about you? What's your plan?", Buggy asked, still laughing.
"Be King of the Pirates.", Luffy responded, finally making Buggy blanch in shock.
Play One Piece Music: "4th Gear"
"YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS, YOU IDIOT! If you're King of the Pirates, then that would make your buddy Queen and me god! There's only one who can be King of the Pirates and obtain all this world's treasures and that's gonna be me, you got it?!", Buggy exclaimed.
"Like heck that's ever gonna happen!", Salvia retorted.
"You're annoying. Let's go ahead and settle this.", Luffy added.
In response, Buggy lowered his hands and drew his swords.
"Seeing that straw hat brings back memories of him and that really gets my blood boiling! So, bring it on, you wannabe pirates! You remind me of him! That darned chiquey red-haired pirate!", Buggy growled.
"What did you say?", Luffy asked.
"Wait a minute. You mean you know Shanks?", Salvia asked.
"What?! So, you're telling me that the straw hat you're wearing used to be Shanks' hat? No wonder it looked so familiar. He always wore it when I knew him.", Buggy responded.
"Wait, what?!", Salvia asked in shock.
"So, you and Shanks were members of the same pirate crew?", Luffy gasped.
"Yeah. Back when we were pirates in training. We were comrades. That darned, detestable, red-haired upstart!", Buggy exclaimed, stomping on the ground.
"If you two knew each other, what happened between you two? And what did he ever do to make you that mad?", Salvia asked.
"You really wanna know? He's the one person that I loathe. In all my life, I've never been as mad at someone as him! That jerk, Shanks stole countless riches from me! I'll curse his name for the rest of my life! As long as there's breath in my body, Shanks..., I will never... forgive you...! ", Buggy snarled.
End One Piece Music: "4th Gear"
Then, it showed a flashback of when Buggy and Shanks were arguing and at each other's throats.
"The North Pole!", Buggy shouted.
"South Pole!", Shanks exclaimed.
"That's what you say!", Buggy responded.
"Right, and I'm gonna keep on saying it, because I'm right, clown!", Shanks shouted.
"Oh, you got guts! I'm gonna settle this once and for all!", Buggy exclaimed.
"Go ahead and try!", Shanks dared.
"All right, you jerk, I'm gonna bust you up flashily!", Buggy shouted.
"Counterattack!", Shanks retorted before both Shanks and Buggy got bonked on the head.
"Knock it off! Nobody but you two cares which is called the North Pole or the South. If you wanna know so badly, then why don't you go to both and find out? Now, cool it.", the captain ordered as the crewmates laughed and Shanks and Buggy glared at each other.
"A ship! Enemy ship to the North Northeast!", a pirate shouted.
"Right! Get ready! Time to fight!", the captain shouted.
"Yes, sir!", the pirates shouted.
"Yes... I can't wait to plunder.", Buggy grinned.
"You seem happy, Buggy.", Shanks grinned.
"Obviously. Enemy ships are just like big, floating treasure chests. It's only natural for pirates to raid 'em. Am I wrong?", Buggy asked.
"Well, there's some truth to that.", Shanks grinned.
"You're too weak! You and everyone else here just don't have the pirate's natural hunger and desire for plundering treasure! You don't know what it means to be a pirate!", Buggy retorted.
Moments later, in the enemy ship, some of its pirates fired cannons while the rest were charged in with Buggy slaying one of the pirates and noticing in his shirt, a scroll-like map.
"Hm? What's this?", Buggy puzzled before picking it up and then opening it.
"It's... a... Treasure map! I've never seen one before! It's incredible! Is the treasure at the bottom of the ocean?", Shanks asked to himself.
With that, Buggy closed the map and looked up with a smirk.
"Yes. My life's path is flashily decided...!", Buggy thought with a chuckle.
Later, at night, while everyone else was celebrating inside, Buggy chuckled to himself as he looked at the map.
"Hey, Buggy! Aren't you gonna come celebrate with us? We've found a whole lot of really neat stuff!", Shanks spoke drunkenly.
"It's no map! I... don't have anything hidden! Go away!", Buggy exclaimed, puzzling Shanks.
"What are you talking about, Buggy?", Shanks asked.
"Oh. Uh, nothing.", Buggy fibbed.
Moments later, the two were now sitting beside each other, gazing at the full moon.
"You said you were gonna leave this ship sometime, right? So, what do you plan to do?", Buggy asked.
"I'm gonna get my own ship, then gather a reliable crew and see the world. I'm gonna take my time. All as a pirate, of course.", Shanks vowed, earning Buggy's chuckle.
"What a bunch of sentimental nonsense.", Buggy commented.
"Say what?", Shanks asked.
"I do admire your fighting skill, though. If you weren't such a softie, I'd make you one of my henchmen.", Buggy stated.
"Your henchman? Heh. I don't think so.", Shanks rebuffed.
"Huh?", Buggy puzzled before Shanks took a quick drink.
"We have completely different outlooks on life, so, I think we should just follow our own paths. That's what pirates do.", Shanks responded.
"Heh. You think you're such an expert on pirates. But if we ever meet on the ocean, then we'd have to have a fight to the death.", Buggy responded.
"Yeah. Pirates do that, too.", Shanks agreed.
"You never make sense. Anyways, you said something about finding some interesting loot, right?", Buggy asked.
"Huh? Oh, yeah. We found a Devil Fruit.", Shanks responded.
"A Devil Fruit?", Buggy asked in surprise.
"I heard that the different fruits are incarnations of the Sea Devil. Supposedly, if you eat one, you gain devil powers, but the sea will hate you and take your ability to swim.", Shanks explained.
"You'd have to be stupid to eat that thing.", Shanks responded before thinking to himself. "I'd never get that treasure on the ocean floor if I couldn't swim."
"But still... I'd bet you could that fruit for at least 100,000,000 Berries.", Shanks said.
"Heh, yeah...", Buggy agreed.
But very soon, Buggy realized the crux of what Shanks just said.
"WHAT?!", Buggy exclaimed.
The next morning, Buggy was holding out a sort of fruit in his hand.
"I, Pirate of Princess Buggy, am about to devour this Devil Fruit!", Buggy announced, earning laughter from one of the pirates.
"You gotta love the kids. Never thinking of consequences.", a crewmate commented.
Buggy laughed before then eating it whole, astonishing the crew. At least for a moment.
"Well, Buggy? You feel any differently yet?", a crewmate asked.
"No... Not really...", Buggy responded.
"Aw, was it a fake? I'm not surprised. I've never seen a real Devil Fruit before.", a crewmate said in disappointment.
Little did Buggy realize that he chuckled to himself as if it was all according to plan. In fact, that very night...
"Yes. That worked flashily well. These guys are so gullible. I can't believe I was able to trick them so easily. Now, to jump ship before they find out the truth. With the money I get from selling this Devil Fruit and finding the sunken treasure, I'll easily be able to form my own crew.", Buggy smirked to himself with a chuckle.
But just then, he heard a voice behind him, surprising him to the point of stuffing the Devil Fruit whole in his mouth out of reaction.
"Oh, it's you. Don't scare me like that.", Buggy muffled.
"Don't be so jumpy. And don't steal too much from the kitchen. You don't want to make the cook mad.", Shanks advised as he left.
"That was close...", Buggy sighed to himself.
But then, Shanks returned unexpectedly sooner.
"Oh, yeah. The captain wanted me to tell ya.", Shanks responded, shocking Shanks again.
But this time, he was so unnerved he accidentally swallowed the Devil Fruit whole! It took a moment for it to sink in as he tensed before he suddenly grabbed Shanks by the collar of his shirt and berated him.
"HOW DARE YOU?! BIG JERK! WHY, WHY, WHYYYY?!", Buggy berated.
"Hey, what's wrong?", Shanks puzzled in shock.
But just then, he noticed something falling out of the boat.
"What's that piece of paper?", Shanks puzzled.
Buggy turned and noticed this, too.
"Ah! Not my map!", Buggy shouted before jumping off after it.
"Hey, Buggy!", Shanks shouted in worry.
It was deep in the ocean that Buggy found out the hard way what happens to those who ate the Devil Fruit.
"What the...? Wh-what's going on? I can't move...! Is it true that you lose your ability to swim?! Dang it!", Buggy thought.
Shanks was getting just as concerned for Buggy in the surface.
"Hey... Hey, what are you doing? What's going on? Why aren't you swimming? Buggy!", Shanks exclaimed.
"Help.. help me...", Shanks thought to himself weakly.
"I'LL SAVE YOU, BUGGY!", Shanks shouted as he leapt into the water.
Back in the present, Buggy was very livid.
"So, are you telling me that Shanks saved your life?", Luffy asked.
"NO, THAT'S NOT THE POINT I'M TRYING TO GET ACROSS! Because of what he did to me, I was unable to swim and therefore, unable to obtain my sunken treasure!", Buggy snapped.
"You really shouldn't get a big head over that. From the sound of it, you had this coming for trying to trick them.", Salvia scolded as Nami arrived, hiding behind a wall.
"HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT AS IF I'M THE ONE AT FAULT! I wouldn't expect you of all people to understand! But regardless, I had a revelation. If I couldn't go underwater, then I'll just obtain all the treasure on dry land, using my brand new Chop Chop powers... And now, I won't let anyone who touches my treasure live. DEATH TO THOSE WHO TRY TO PILFER MY HARD-EARNED TREASUUURE! CHOP-CHOP RICE CRACKER!", Buggy shouted, prepping his shoes up as daggers popped out from the soles and he launched his legs toward Luffy and Salvia.
While Salvia dodged, Luffy jumped up.
"Can't move in midair, can you? Too bad.", Buggy laughed as he then launched his knives from his hands.
"No, you're wrong.", Luffy responded before he grabbed the wood and moved away in time to avoid the knives while Buggy's legs returned to him.
"Ohoho! How interesting.", Buggy grinned.
"You're not so bad yourself.", Salvia responded.
"Yeah. But here comes... Gum-Gum Pistol!", Luffy shouted, launching his fist toward Buggy, who dodged it.
"They're neat abilities, all right. But they leave you wide open. I'LL CARVE YOU UP!", Buggy threatened before Luffy grabbed the tree just behind him.
"Oh, no, you don't! Chub-Chub...!", Salvia began.
"Gum-Gum...!", Luffy began as he neared Buggy.
"CHOP-CHOP QUICK ESCAPE!", Buggy shouted.
"STOMP!", Salvia shouted, stomping on the ground enough to cause a quake, leaving Buggy reeling even when his head split from his torso.
This allowed Luffy to close in.
"SICKLE!", Luffy shouted, smashing his arm against Buggy's head and smash it against the tree behind him.
When the smoke cleared, Buggy was dazed for a moment before he shook and growled.
"Well, that wasn't too bad, Gum-Gum, Chub-Chub.", Buggy said.
Then, he moved back to his body and put it back on top of his torso.
"Well, we wouldn't have had to do that if you hadn't kept breaking into pieces.", Salvia responded.
This only earned Buggy's laughter as he drew his knives on his hand again.
"What...? They're still going at it? I can't believe these guys.", Nami said in surprise.
Meanwhile, a few Buggy pirates were on the ground. Although, they're conscious now, they're cautious.
"Uh, hey... Did you see that?", one buggy pirate asked.
"You idiot... Pretend you're still knocked out. If you get yourself caught in the middle of that, then there's no way you'll EVER make it out alive.", another warned.
Salvia was puzzled to see that they're still alive, much less unwilling to join the fight.
"Huh? They're awake already? But... they're not even willing to help Buggy?", Salvia puzzled.
But Salvia didn't have the time to dwell on it. Buggy suddenly shouted out.
"CHOP-CHOP CANNON!", Buggy shouted, firing his right hand at Luffy and Salvia, the former of which was barely able to stop the right hand.
"Separate...", Buggy smirked.
Suddenly, Buggy's hand managed to slash Luffy across his cheek (along with the straw hat by its edge) and even skid just past Salvia, though not without grazing a bit of Uta's bracelet in the process just right before Luffy crashed.
"Luffy!", Salvia shouted.
Worried, she ran and helped scoop some debris off Luffy.
But as she did so, she stopped and gasped in horror upon seeing the damage done to the bracelet, earning her horrified gasp and Buggy's following laughter.
"So, runt? You wanna give up yet?!", Buggy smirked.
But after a moment, he lost his smirk and frowned at the sight of Luffy still standing. Unbeknownst to him as of yet, though, Luffy found out the damage done to the straw hat as well. It was right then and there that both Luffy and Salvia became really angry with Buggy and glared at him.
"YOU RED-NOSED JERK!", Luffy and Salvia shouted angrily, shocking Buggy as well as his crew who was watching the fight.
"What...did you... just call me...?!", Buggy growled.
"Monster...! No one damages my lucky hat and walks away from it alive...!", Luffy threatened.
"The same goes for my bracelet, too! A friend gave that to me a long time ago with a vow to join either one's crew if we meet again someday!", Salvia tensed, puzzling Buggy.
"THEY'RE OUR ONLY TREASURE! AND ANYONE WHO LAYS SO MUCH AS A FINGER ON THEM ARE GONNA PAY!", Luffy and Salvia threatened in unison.
They were rather adamant. Nami could understand Salvia, but she had never heard Luffy speak like that. She flashed back to when Luffy explained something about the hat.
"I made a solemn promise. I promised the guy who gave me this hat that I'd form a crew and become the greatest pirate ever.", Luffy responded.
"Who gave that hat to you, anyway?", Nami asked.
"A guy named Red-Haired Shanks. Why?", Luffy responded.
This response left Nami shocked again.
"Red-Haired Shanks really gave his hat to you?!", Nami asked.
"Yeah. That's right.", Luffy responded.
Then, it went to the present with Nami thinking to herself.
"I could probably understand Salvia, but I didn't think there was anything that could faze him. Look at them. They're getting so upset about a hat and a bracelet. Could that be why Salvia was wearing it?", Nami thought to herself.
Luffy and Salvia growled angrily.
"Hm. It seems obvious for Shanks' hat, but it seems your bracelet has a history to it.", Buggy guessed.
"Of course it does!", Salvia retorted.
"Is it really just as special as Shanks' hat?", Buggy asked.
As he asked, he raised his free hand from behind Salvia and Luffy. They both turned and saw it coming, dodging the knived hand, treasure and all.
"If that's the case... YOU TWO SHOULD PROTECT THEM!", Buggy shouted.
Eagerly, Buggy seized the opportunity to not only cut off the bracelet on Salvia, but also pierce through the top of Shanks' hat, much to both Luffy and Salvia's shock and horror while flashing back to the old days from Shanks putting on his straw hat to Salvia and Uta speaking with each other.
"LET THEM GO, YOU HORRIBLE MONSTER!", a familiar voice shouted.
Much to the bandit leader's puzzlement, let alone genuine, eager surprise, he finally saw a livid Uta again, let alone with Shanks and the others, also much to Luffy and Salvia's relief.
"Uta...!", Salvia gasped.
Luffy moved up in front of Salvia and Uta in spite of drowning.
"HEY! YOU LEAVE THOSE TWO ALONE! YOU HEAR ME?!", Luffy shouted.
Unfortunately, it did nothing to stop the Sea King as it chomped down. Fortunately, who should appear in the nick of time but Shanks, who was now holding onto both Luffy, Salvia, and Uta.
"This is bad! You lost your arm!", Luffy shouted in sadness.
Then, it even showed Shanks taking off his Straw Hat and placing it on top of Luffy's head.
"If that's the case, I'll leave this here. It means more to me than anything." Shanks said as Luffy started to tear up.
Then, Uta remembered something.
"Oh, that's right! There was something I wanted to give you before I go.", Uta said.
"What is it?", Salvia asked before giving her a white bracelet.
"A bracelet?", Salvia asked.
"Not just any bracelet. It's the symbol of our vow! If either one of us isn't in our own crew, then one of us will join that crew.", Uta vowed.
Salvia grinned before then giving doing a pinky swear with her.
"It's a vow!", Salvia grinned.
Back in the present, both Luffy and Salvia landed on the ground with the bracelet falling to the ground while the straw hat was brought to Buggy.
"How are this old, tattered hat and a measly bracelet treasure? Treasure refers to sparkling gold, silver and jewels. And all those things reflect their owner's grandeur. You really consider those worthless artifacts treasure? You really need to grow up, kids.", Buggy mocked before laughing.
That was the last straw for Salvia and Luffy, the former even more so.
"How dare you...! How dare you cut up my bracelet and mock the friendship I held dear with Uta...!", Salvia tensed.
"Wha...?", Buggy puzzled.
"A heartless monster like you would never understand how I feel when you do that...! I'll never forgive you for what you've done...! I...! I...! I'LL KILL YOU!", Salvia threatened, her eyes now blood red with her pupils now the same as an angry Sea King's yet again.
But this time, it left Buggy paralyzed with fear. Nami and Luffy were quite surprised by the effect it had on him.
"She just paralyzed him with her eyes...!", Nami said to herself with a gasp.
"Huh? Okay, that's new.", Luffy said.
"What the...? What's going on?! And why do I feel like I'm drowning in the ocean yet again?!", Buggy thought to himself.
Play Twin Star Exorcists Music: "Abe no Seimei's Revival"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
With one loud scream of rage and sorrow, a shockwave erupted, causing the ground to quake and break apart. Parts of the ground even started to lift up into mini-pillars. Yet again, Salvia's said screams of rage and sorrow soon turned into those of a monstrous roar as first, her skin turned brown and scaley while growing a large blue frill on her back. And finally, her mouth grew into an alligator-like snout. Salvia let out another monstrous roar to finish the transformation before all the buggy pirates were knocked right into the wall as everyone else braced themselves. When the dust settled, only the beast formerly known as Salvia remained before the Captain of the Buggy Pirates himself.
"WHA-WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPENING TO HER?!", Buggy panicked as Salvia bared her fangs yet again.
"SHE'S A GIANT MONSTER!", the Buggy Pirates screamed.
The beast roared vehemently as she ran toward Buggy and punched him in the gut. The hit wasn't enough to pierce right through him like with Captain Morgan, but it was still a critical one nonetheless. Struck so hard by the blow, Buggy was forced to cough up his own blood, which spilled onto the ground.
"CAPTAIN BUGGY!", the Buggy Pirates shouted before she then grabbed him by the leg and smashed him onto the ground repeatedly like a rag doll before finally tossing him toward the house, crashing through it and breaking it apart.
When the dust cleared, Buggy was barely able to stand, much less fight as he held the spot where it was struck.
"This can't be...! N-n-nobody beats... the immortal Buggy...!", Buggy spoke in a weak panic.
"How could this be happening right now? Wait a minute... Could that be... the full scope of her Devil Fruit Powers?", Buggy thought before thinking back on what Mohji told him.
"Captain Buggy, we have to be careful! They have Devil Fruit Powers, too! He's a rubber person and she's a chub person! I saw it myself!", Mohji shouted.
Then, back to the present, Buggy tensed to himself.
"Darn it...! If I had known that angering her by going after their so-called treasure would trigger that monster, I would've finished this quickly and avoided this mess altogether! Now, it seems I have no choice but to retreat for now...!", Buggy thought.
But as though she heard him, Salvia sounded a vehemently inhuman roar and prepared a big ball of energy in her mouth.
As if that wasn't enough insult to injury, Luffy ran ahead, too.
"SHANKS IS A MUCH BETTER MAN THAN YOU'LL EVER BE! AND UTA'S A REALLY GOOD FRIEND TO MY BIG SISTER! YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO MOCK THAT FRIENDSHIP OF HERS, LET ALONE CALL HIM COMRADE! AND DON'T YOU EVER BAD-MOUTH THEM AGAIN!", Luffy shouted.
"DARN IT! I HAVE NO TIME!", Buggy shouted before Salvia roared as she fired the orb from her mouth, turning it into a lethal beam.
It was then that he realized something.
"Oh, that's right. How could I forget? Time for my Chop-Chop Quick Escape!", Buggy shouted before his head moved out from his torso.
However, it did no good. Even with Buggy's head splitting, the blast still hit Buggy's body, burning it to a crisp and making his head scream out in pain, allowing Luffy to smash him against the ground, causing a crater out of it.
"OH, NO! BUGGY!", the pirates shouted.
After a moment, the dust cleared with the broken house now in flames thanks to the blast and Buggy's head now shown to be having comedic spirals for eyes.
"Buggy, Buggy, Buggy, Buggy Buggy, Buggy...", Buggy groaned in pain.
"I don't want you to ever mention Shanks or Uta's names again, you monster!", Luffy scolded angrily with Buggy's head going back to his charred body, coughing out smoke as a result.
"I don't know who this Uta is, but I can say whatever the heck I want about Shanks...! I've earned that!", Buggy shouted with a cough.
But all that did was anger the beast to an extreme level yet again. Salvia roared as she leapt toward Buggy.
"Darn it! Not again!", Buggy thought as he squealed in panic.
The monster wasted no time in crushing his body and then repeatedly pummeling his charred body to a pulp, making him cough out blood every 4 hits, even causing the town to crack apart with each strike and roar.
"I don't know who to feel sorry for now... Buggy or Salvia!", Nami spoke in worry, breaking out in a cold sweat from seeing the monstrous beatdown taking place.
Just then, Salvia crushed his legs by stepping on them, making him yell out in pain before he finally gave an angry look at the monster. But the beast was much angrier than he is, even roaring and preparing one more energy ball in her mouth.
"Darn it, Buggy...! It's now or never!", Buggy thought before...
Too late! Salvia fired a blast right at him at point-blank range! What's more, it continued to push against the ground before several more blasts emerged all across town, burning up some unlucky homes in the process, much to Nami's worry as one nearly came close to frying her.
"Aah! That nearly hit me!", Nami yelped in fear.
When the blasts disappeared, the town was now in flames and in ruins. But that didn't matter to Salvia. All that did matter was that the man responsible for disrespecting the bonds she and Luffy shared was now dead, unaware that Zoro was starting to come to and woke up to see the horror and devastation left in the monster's wake, not to mention the beast itself.
"Huh? What the...?!", Zoro said ot himself.
The monster even roared loudly in a berserker triumph, not knowing that that said roar was heard nearby from the townspeople, who ran and hid in the trees from the sound of the beastly roar.

Eventually, the smoke cleared from where Buggy once was. When it did, Salvia widened her eyes in confusion upon seeing that Buggy's lower body was still intact.
"HEY!", Buggy shouted, prompting Salvia and the others to turn around see Buggy's upper body still intact and now near one of his cannons, although not in the best shape as he was winded, making Salvia growl in beastly anger from seeing this.
"This isn't over yet, Chub-Chub...!", Buggy growled.
"He's still alive!", Luffy exclaimed.
"I don't know what's been going on, but I guess the fight's not over yet.", Zoro guessed.
"Oh, hey, Zoro. You're awake.", Luffy grinned.
"SHUT UP! HOW DARE YOU FLASHILY PARALYZE ME WITH FEAR AND PUSH ME TO THE BRINK OF DEATH?! You'll pay for this...!", Buggy spoke angrily before focusing his gaze toward Nami.
"Especially that thief!", Buggy growled, making Nami gasp.
"Dang it! He's spotted me!", Nami spoke in fear, making Salvia growl angrily toward Buggy.
"YOU DON'T STAND A CHANCE OF ESCAPING FROM ME! NOW, I'M GOING TO FLASHILY SEND YOU TO OBLIVION WITH MY BUGGY BALL!", Buggy shouted before the Buggy Ball was fired.
But when it was fired, as Nami braced herself for the end, Salvia quickly went in front of her and caught the ball with her fangs and mouth. After a moment, Nami opened her eyes and saw Salvia in front of her, amazed.
"Salvia...? You.. saved me...!", Nami gasped in amazement before Salvia chomped down and swallowed.
After a moment, it exploded inside of her before letting out a small burp of smoke.
Buggy, was quite shocked by the turn of events. So much so, in fact, that his eyes bugged out.
"WHAT?! DID SHE... SHE JUST ATE MY BUGGY BALL!", Buggy exclaimed.
Very quickly, she leapt toward Buggy with a primal roar, making him react in shock.
"AAH! CHOP-CHOP...!", Buggy began before Salvia roared and blasted out an energy beam.
"FESTIVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!", Buggy shouted, splitting into pieces as he and all his pieces got burned and collapsed, allowing her to grab Buggy and crumple him up, reducing him to a short man with big hands and feet.
Then, she tossed him up, jumped up, and kicked him away with a roar before giving one final blast toward Buggy, sending him flying away into the sky.
While Luffy and Nami were amazed, the townspeople were puzzled to see him being sent away.
"Is that... Captain Buggy flying away?", one townsperson asked.
Meanwhile, the Buggy pirates were mortified.
"Captain Buggy, no!", Mohji shouted.
"I can't believe it... He's dead...!", one of the buggy pirates said in horror.
But the nightmare wasn't over for them yet; far from it. The monstrous Sea King monster turned toward them and roared viciously and loudly, preparing yet another energy blast from her mouth before firing at full power!
"WE'RE dead!", the Buggy Pirates shouted in panic.
The blast barely missed, but they all fled from the town in panic as the berserk Salvia was now thrashing and blasting everything in sight, much to both Zoro and Nami's concern.
"If she keeps this up, she'll damage the whole island even more than the Buggy Pirates did!", Zoro tensed.
"Yep. She's out of control.", Luffy said.
"You say that like it's nothing to worry about! If we don't do something soon, there's not going to be anything left! Not even the treasure!", Nami shouted in panic.
Just then, Nami realized something and noticed the torn bracelet on the ground.
"Wait... Treasure? That's it!", Nami spoke in realization.
"Huh? What's it?", Zoro asked.
"I think I might know something that can help bring her back before any more major damage can be caused.", Nami replied, holding up Salvia's torn bracelet.
"And if you can't do that...?", Zoro asked.
"Leave that to me.", Nami replied.
Meanwhile, Salvia continued to rampage across town before Nami called out to her.
"HEY! SALVIA! I FOUND YOUR BRACELET!", Nami shouted.
But Salvia only fiercely turned toward her, paralyzing Nami with fear via a glare from her blood red berserk eyes.
"Oh, no...! I'm stuck...!", Nami thought as she whimpered.
"Great. Now, that idiot's gonna get herself killed!", Zoro tensed.
Salvia roared, preparing to blast her away as well as an energy orb formed in her mouth. All Nami could do was whimper and close her eyes, preparing for the inevitable destruction...! But then, Salvia's berserk red eyes lightened up and turned white from seeing the one thing she said she found: her bracelet. After a moment, the blast disappeared with no discharge, giving Nami some relief as she opened and blinked her eyes in confusion. Then, that confusion turned to relief as Salvia went for her bracelet and gently picked it up with a soft, gentle growl with her eyes and mouth turning back to normal at least as she gazed at her damaged bracelet.
"Huh. I guess I stand corrected.", Zoro spoke, mildly surprised.
She even started to let out some sad sobs as she looked at her torn bracelet.
"I can't believe Buggy would do this...!", Salvia said sadly.
Nami then thought about what happened moments earlier sadly.
"Sorry your hat and bracelet's all torn up... When I have time, I'll fix them for you, if you like.", Nami apologized.
"Really?", Salvia asked.
"Yeah. You must've been really torn up if you went all berserk mad on Buggy like that... It's the least I could do. But before we do that, I split this into three bags, so can you and Luffy help me carry those two thirds of it? It's too heavy for me.", Nami puzzled.
"Wow, that's a lot.", Salvia said.
"If anything, that clown Buggy knew quality treasure when he saw it and now, it's all mine. I bet I can sell this for at least 10,000,000 Berries!", Nami grinned.
But after a moment, though, Nami held out the map to Luffy.
"Here you go.", Nami offered.
"Huh?", Luffy puzzled.
"It's the chart to the Grand Line. You do want it, don't you?", Nami asked.
"You're giving it to me?", Luffy asked.
"But why?", Salvia asked.
"It's because you saved my life. Even if you were a little out of control back there.", Nami responded.
"Yeah. Sorry... I guess I still have a lot to learn about this...", Salvia blushed with a sweat on her head.
"Thanks, Nami! Now, we finally have it! A map of the Grand Line! Hooray!", Luffy cheered, making Salvia grin.
"Oh, does this also mean you'll be joining us and our pirate crew?", Luffy asked.
Given the fact that Luffy and Salvia are the only ones who knew that she's in Arlong's crew so far, excluding the Buggy Pirates, she thought it over for a moment.
"Well, hanging around with you guys seems profitable enough. Just remember this: I'm only joining you guys, 'cause it's in my interest.", Nami explained.
"Sure.", Luffy grinned.
But Zoro wasn't exactly sure.
"I'm not sure about this... I feel light-headed...", Zoro groaned.
"Of course, you do.", Nami groaned.
"Maybe you should try to take it easy for now.", Salvia suggested.
"I told you. I'm fine.", Zoro responded.
"That's not what you said a moment ago. Am I wrong?", Salvia asked, grinning to Nami, who gave a slight chuckle.
But a moment afterward, she noticed the fleeing Buggy Pirate crew, in a comical fashion, at that, and rushed out to the docks.
"Hey, wait! He's not dead; I just launched him off the island!", Salvia shouted.
But her voice could not reach them.
"Aaaaaand they're gone.", Salvia sighed in frustration before she changed back to normal.
"And the fact that the town's on fire isn't doing any favors, either.", Nami said, coughing out some of the smoke from the fire.
"I don't know how the fire even got started, though I'm assuming it had something to do with Salvia, but if we don't do something about it, the whole town will burn out.", Zoro said.
Then, Salvia got an idea, taking into account her sea king form from earlier and the nearby water.
"Hey. Wait a second. I've got an idea!", Salvia grinned.
"Really? What is it?", Luffy asked.
With that, Salvia gave a smirk with a chuckle, her fangs bared, but not in rage or anger, but this time, in joy. In no time, she transformed again, but with her mouth the only thing that's changed this time along with the rest of her body.
"Let's just say there's gonna be a lot of fire extinguishing around here.", Salvia grinned.
Moments later, Salvia scooped the water up into her mouth before turning back to the town and jumping up into the air to spew out water onto the fires of the town everywhere before landing. At that moment, the townspeople arrived in time to see the fire being doused away by Salvia, still in Sea King form. Needless to say, they were quite shocked to see Salvia in the form she's in now.
"There... That should be the last of the fire.", Salvia sighed, brushing her hand against her mouth to wipe off the sea water.
"Uh, guys...? Are you all seeing what I'm seeing right now?", a villager asked.
"Uh-huh.", the townspeople nodded.
"Is that a sea king? On land?!", one other villager said, nervous.
At that moment, Salvia turned to see the townspeople out of puzzlement, only to terrify them with fear just like with Buggy and Nami earlier, earning Luffy's laughter.
"They all look so funny!", Luffy laughed.
Peeved at this as Salvia and Nami are, the former decided to give the townspeople reason to calm down before they could potentially do anything rash.
"Oh. Hey, guys. Sorry we couldn't save your town from being wrecked. But at least I was able to put out the fire.", Salvia assured.
But they were still frozen.
"Huh? What's wrong?", Salvia puzzled before realizing something.
"Oh. Right. It's because of my Sea King form, isn't it? Well, don't worry. That's not really how I look.", Salvia assured before then turning back to normal.
"This is.", Salvia beamed.
This caused massive confusion as they all stared at her blankly and blinked.
"Wait. So, was she always a sea king? Or not?", one villager asked.
"I don't know. But she is... bigger than any of us expected.
"Yeah, I get that a lot. All you need to know is that I don't mean you guys any harm. Not even the mayor. He passed out the moment he saw my sea king form.", Salvia blushed before they turned to see the mayor snoozing.
"Oh. Okay, I guess that makes sense.", one villager said.
"I think I was about to pass out myself.", another agreed.
"But what about the buggy pirates?", another asked.
"See for yourself.", Salvia said, picking up one villager and pointing to him what's going on at the sea: the Buggy Pirates comically fleeing away from the island.
"Are... Are they sailing away?", the villager asked.
"Yep. I even sent the captain flying away myself.", Salvia replied.
"That's true.", Luffy responded, chuckling.
"Wait a minute. That would explain that strange sound, not to mention Buggy being blasted away.", a villager said.
"So, does that mean what I think it means...? That we're free?", another asked, earning Salvia's nod.
Hearing this, the villagers became relieved and smiled, even chuckling and cheering.
"Wow. They're certainly excited, aren't they?", Zoro asked.
"Well, after what Buggy did to me and Luffy, it's not hard to see why.", Salvia grinned.
"Thank you so much for driving those buggy pirates away for us.", the villager spoke gratefully.
"It was no big deal, really.", Salvia assured.
"Hey, hold the phone, here?", one of the villagers asked, puzzling Salvia.
"Huh? What's up?", Salvia asked.

"What's with those bags your friends are carrying?", the villager asked, worrying Salvia, who gave a shocked look.
"Oh, uh..., well, you see, we just wanted to help with some laundry and...", Nami began before a villager interrupted, now suspicious as well as the rest.
"Hold on a minute. Tell me. Why exactly did you come to this island if not to drive the buggy pirates away?", one villager asked.
"You'd better explain yourselves.", another urged.
"Who are you? Are you with them?", another demanded.
"They're getting really bloodthirsty...! We can't let them know that we're thieves and pirates...!", Nami spoke in fear.
"I don't think that's possible, Nami... If there's one thing my brother definitely isn't...", Salvia began.
End Paddy Kingsland Music: "Finders Creepers"
"We're a different group of pirates.", Luffy explained bluntly, shocking everyone except Salvia.
After a moment, Zoro laughed while Salvia finished.
"It's a liar...", Salvia sighed.
"JUST AS WE THOUGHT!", the townspeople shouted angrily.
"IDIOT!", Nami shouted to Luffy angrily.
"But it's the truth!", Luffy spoke as Nami growled.
"Calm down, Nami. It just couldn't be helped.", Salvia sighed.
"Pirates! How dare you try to ravage our town!", the villager shouted.
"We may be grateful for you driving those buggy pirates away, but try anything funny and we won't show you any mercy!", another warned.
"What now? Doesn't look like they're up for a discussion.", Zoro grinned before Luffy grinned.
Play One Piece Music: "We Are"
"Well, it looks like there's only one thing we can do for now, guys...", Salvia began.
Then, she grabbed Nami and dashed off with Luffy and Zoro running alongside them.
"RUUUN!" Luffy and Salvia shout in unison.
"GET THEEEEEEEEEEM!", one villager shouted before they all gave chase toward the 4 pirates.
"Just be sure to look after the mayor when you're done chasing us, okay?!", Salvia shouted as she ran.
"How does your brother always make things worse?!", Nami exclaimed.
"That's a good question, Nami. I wouldn't know the answer to that!", Salvia glared to Luffy, who gave nervous laughter.
"But I do know one thing: I wish they were that serious against a group of Buggy Pirates!", Salvia added.
Then, Luffy spoke up.
"We're turning here!", Luffy spoke before he turned right with Salvia and Zoro turning right.
"They ran into the alley!", one villager shouted.
Then, the 4 pirates jumped up, apparently seeing ChouChou below them.
"ChouChou?!", Nami and Salvia spoke in unison.
"Doggy?", Luffy added.
But Zoro only smirked, getting the sense of what he's doing.
"That'll do, dog... That'll do...", Zoro grinned.

Then, the 4 landed on the ground and proceeded forward while ChouChou barked at the citizens, determined to keep them at bay.
"Hey, move, ChouChou! Get out of here! Those four are pirates!", one villager shouted as ChouChou barked away.
"You're barking at the wrong people!", another shouted.
"Why isn't he letting us pass through?!", the villager puzzled.
"ChouChou, get out of here!", the 2nd urged.
"ChouChou!", another scolded.
Then, Luffy and Salvia turned back to see ChouChou keeping the citizens at bay and looking back toward them with a brave smirk.
"Thank you, ChouChou! We'll never forget you!", Salvia shouted.
"Later, doggy!", Luffy added, laughing as they ran across the alleyway.

Later, the 4 pirates arrived at the docks near a couple of boats.
"That was close... We only made it because of ChouChou... Why did we have to put up with this...?", Nami panted.
"Again. That's a good question. But like I said, it couldn't be helped. We are done here, anyways, aren't we?", Salvia asked.
"Yeah. Maybe so, but...", Nami began.
"Hey, is this your boat? It's great.", Luffy grinned.
"It's nothing special, but I guess it'll do. I stole it from some dumb pirates a few days back.", Nami explained.
"That's a big dumb mouth you've got.", one pirate spoke up, surprising Nami as he and his two Buggy Pirate sprang out of the boat.
"We've been waitin' for ya, you little thief.", one pirate said.
"Never thought you'd run into us here, now, did you, girlie?", another asked, worrying Nami, who laughed nervously.
"Wait a minute. You're the pirates who showed us the way here.", Salvia realized before the pirate gaped in awe as he saw Salvia and Zoro.
"Oh, no...!", the pirate exclaimed.
"Hey, what's wrong?", the 2nd puzzled before he and the 3rd turned and saw Salvia and Zoro with Luffy and Nami.
"NOT THEM AGAIN!", the 3 pirates exclaimed.
Meanwhile, the mayor finally woke up.
"Hey, look! He's waking up!", the villager spoke up before the mayor stood up.
"Thank goodness he's fine.", another said.
"What happened here, mayor?", another asked.
The mayor then turned around and saw the island in ruins, like it had been burnt recently, as well as some water splashed onto where the burns were.
"What in the...?", the mayor began.
"It was like this when we got here. A big large woman was dousing out the fire, at least, when we did, though, and as a Sea King, no less! She said she was the one who sent Captain Buggy packing a while ago.", the villager explained.
The mayor gasped in slight surprise, remembering Salvia as the only woman who can fit the description.
"There were even a few pirates along with her when we arrived, but they all ran off.", the villager said.
"Where are the young ones?!", the mayor asked.
"Are you talking about those 4 people?", a villager puzzled.
"So they're... still alive?", the mayor puzzled for a moment. "Those fools... scaring a senior citizen like that. How rude..."
It then showed a flashback of the mayor and Nami being scared by Salvia's monstrous appearance, the former more so to the point of fainting.
"We drove those pirates out of our town, mayor. They may've gotten the treasure, but we don't need to worry about them anymore.", the villager assured.
"But it's not enough! We have to make them pay for what they've done to our village!", another urged.
"They deserve to be punished for destroying the town we all worked so hard to build!", a woman agreed.
"Yeah, she's right!", one villager agreed.
"There's still time to go after them. If we hurry...", one villager began before the mayor shouted.
"SHUT YOUR MOUTHS!", the mayor shouted, shocking the citizens. "I'M THE ONLY ONE WHO'S ALLOWED TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THOSE KIDS! I WON'T LET ANYONE ELSE BAD-MOUTH THEM, YOU HEAR ME?!"
"What? WHy are you protecting those pirates, mayor?", one of the citizen asked.
"Darn it, they think they can just disappear and that's that?! Where did they go...?", the mayor asked, taking off armor, one piece at a time, starting with the torso.
"Well..., I think they were running toward the port.", the citizen explained.
"Darned kids...! They can't just leave like that! I HAVE A LOT OF THINGS I WANNA SAY TO YOU ALL!", the mayor shouted as he finally took it, along with the armored sleeves and leggings.
Meanwhile, the 4 were now out at sea.
"All right. Let's get going.", Luffy grinned as the two boats sailed next to each other.
"Can I ask you something? Isn't that Buggy's mark on your sail?", Zoro asked.
"Well, this did used to be Buggy's boat. Should I change it?", Nami asked.
"Please, do. If I never have to see that mark again, it'll be too soon...", Salvia responded with a groan.
Just then, the mayor finally caught up and shouted.
"HEY, WAIT! YOUNG ONES!", the mayor shouted.
"It's the mayor...", Salvia spoke in surprise as the mayor panted for a moment.
"THANKS! THANK YOU!", the mayor shouted, shedding grateful tears.
Hearing this, Salvia and Luffy chuckled.
"You're welcome, Mayor!", Salvia shouted.
"Take it easy!", Luffy shouted.
"And look after the citizens, okay?!", Salvia added.
"Blast you, young ones...! Blast you, young ones...! Blast you, young ones...", the mayor thought.
"I have no words...", the mayor said.
Back on the boats, Zoro spoke up.
"So, how many crew members do you think we need to pick up?", Zoro asked.
"Well, from what I remember, Shanks's men numbered up to more than 10 when Luffy and I were rescued. So..., how about 20? And we accept nothing less than the best in our crew. That sound good?", Salvia asked.
"Amen to that.", Nami grinned.
"So, what exactly do you plan to do with the treasure, Nami? It can't be just for a better ship if we need it.", Salvia asked.
This made her blanch for a bit before she glared.
"That's none of your business!", Nami exclaimed.
"Uh..., okay.", Salvia blushed as Zoro laughed.
"Well, for better or for worse, it looks like we finally have a navigator in our crew.", Zoro said to himself.
Meanwhile, on an island, someone with brown boots and a long nose walked up and had his arms crossed with a sort of serious look.

However, you all have to understand that the world of FanFiction is only limited by your imagination and the One Piece world is a perfect place to let said imagination soar. Now that you've probably calmed down, I know all the questions you are going to ask: "Will the others get powers in the near future?", "Will Robin still have her powers since Kuina has them too?", and stuff like that. Well, let me answer the two you have already brought up. First, the others getting Devil Fruit powers, you'll just have to keep reading to see that. Second, will Robin still have her powers? Yes, she will. Devil Fruits spawn from 'Man's' inner desires, so there could theoretically be two people with Bloom-Bloom powers.
