Hello and welcome to yet another chapter of my story. Now I will just say now that I am trying very hard to not have a lot of chunks of fighting in each of these. I easily could do so but other than giving me some practice with fighting of various fights as I tried to make them different. But to you readers it would just be guy fight, then guy fight, then guy fight….forever. I do want to show that there is a lot of small and big kingdoms under the world king. Though that is just for my sake of thinking the world is a big place. Anyways I'll just say that I do not own dragon ball z I just write a story about it. And speaking of a story…let's get on with it.

Chapter 11

_Videl_

After her match finished up Videl went to the library to relax simply because it didn't have much of a chance to call in many students. Sadly before she could relax for too long she felt her phone vibrating in her pocket. Pulling it out she saw that it was her dad

*sigh* "It's bad enough he is forcing me to do this now he won't even let me relax." She muttered.

"Hello dad." She answered.

"Gah, ha, ha just had to call and check in on my little winner. Soon enough you will be a true princess just as I always wanted you to be." Mr. Satan replies happily

"…you mean I'll be in a spot that you can try to finagle more benefits from." Videl stated blandly.

"Ye- No! I uhh truly want you to just have everything you need to be happy and this is the best way…yeah."

" What would make me happy is not marrying some random unknown prince. I'd rather find someone I truly want to spend my life with."

"Oh…uhh. Well it's a bit too late for you to back out now might as well go all the way and see if you can learn to like the prince."

"Or I could let myself lose in the next match."

"No! Satan's are not quitters! If you don't win this for me then I'll make sure that not only can you not help the police anymore. But I'll also send you to the all-girl private school you were oh so adamant about not going to."

"Grr. Why do you have to make everything about gaining power! You are the strongest person on this planet isn't that enough. Can't you just let me be happy by myself." Videl growls out.

"Dear…I promise you that while I might seem like a bad father to you right now I am trying my best to make sure that you are safe." Mr. Satan tells her sounding weaker than she has ever heard him.

"…Dad? What is going on?" Videl asked now confused seeing as she NEVER heard her father act weak.

"….just go win the tournament…please." Mr. Satan says then hangs up. Videl then looks at her phone as it went into sleep mode.

"…what is going on with my father? First he is being a power hungry dick and then he becomes scared? He's never been like this before." Videl mutters putting her phone back in her pocket. Though seeing as she knew that she was basically stuck following his orders she just tried to push it to the back of her head and relaxed a bit. After all as long as her dad has control he can make her life as boring as he wanted. For no one would believe that the savior of the world was doing something bad for his daughter.

_Mr. Satan_

After he finished the phone call Mr. Satan dropped his phone and let out a sigh.
"Videl I know that you probably hate me right now but I am doing all I can to make sure that you can enjoy your life." Mr. Satan mutters glancing over to the tv where he saw a story about the new energy using criminal gang that was still at large.

"Now not only do I have to worry about those super powered freaks deciding to come out of hiding but now a group of OTHER super powered freaks is trying to show that I am faking being strong. But I mean how the hell am I supposed to be tell the world that there are monsters out there than can just wipe out things without even trying. It's just ridiculous! How are freaks like that even allowed to exsist." Mr. Satan ranted to the air.

"Well at least if she becomes part of the Ox kingdom Videl can maybe avoid the fall out if I am ever truly exposed. Not to mention they are supposed to have more than enough freaky fighters hiding about to protect her from this new group of freaks….and the power I will possibly get would be nice as well hehe." Mr. Satan mutter to no one. After all, if he EVER truly told anyone his life would basically be over. Every time he dreamed about the world finding out he only found the worse suffering imaginable awaiting him. He refused to let himself end up that way if at all possible…or at least make sure that his daughter doesn't suffer for his own decisions.

"Ugh…I don't want to think about those freaks while sober…. Butler bring me in my brandy." Mr. Satan finished thinking then called for a drink over the intercom.

= Royal quarters=

"Oh so you already got bored with watching the fights huh?" the Ox king asks looking at the four kids in front of him.

"Yeah Trunks was right…watching all those fights were pretty boring. They weren't even trying to fight in normal speed." Goten grumbled.

*sigh* "Goten you really need to remember that we are stronger than normal people. If they aren't part of our group they are honestly trying their hardest even if it looks like goofing around to us." Georgia states dryly.

"Oh hehe" Goten says awkwardly laughing and rubbing his head.

"Gahaha you are without a doubt one of Goku's kids." Mathew states happily. For he had no idea why only Goten ended up with his father's stupidity but he was happy that Goku would be remembered. Even if he honestly hoped that it didn't affect said kids' life too much for the negative.

"Anyways we got bored of that and sis said we couldn't go visit Gohan so we came here." Trunks stated with a shrug.

"Yea, it's probably for the best if you aren't seen by the students at least until we finally reveal you guys as heirs. But there is still plenty for you guys to do. I am sure you all know about my games room and I had Bulma put in a gravity room in for you to use.

"Really there is a gravity room now!?" Bra asked excited getting a nod from the older man. "Come on guys let's go do some real fighting." She added rushing away to find the room.

"By grandpa thank you" Goten called out before following the rest of the kids.

"Hahaha, those kids are always so full of energy" Ox king muttered amused as he went back to watching tv as before.

=Friend Group=

After Videl's match Luke, Erasa, and Destiny went looking around the castle to see if they could find where Videl went to.

"What makes you think that she is even out of the arena's waiting room?" Luke asks as they walk.

"Well the writer has to be tired of writing about the same area over and over again so she can't be there." Erasa told him simply.

"Huh, what the hell are you talking about?" Destiny asks.

*shrug* "It just came to me seeing as the writer doesn't want to use any more AN's at the moment. But anyways let's hurry up and find her!" Erasa states walking a bit faster. Meanwhile her other friends simply looked at each other for a moment and shrugged off the weirdness that the bored writer put in the chapter.

Eventually after a decent amount of searching the group entered the library where Videl was still relaxing.

"Videl!" Erasa calls out happily to the girl who was reading a manga.

"Hey guys. I figured you would still be watching the fights. I mean there aren't that many left seeing as my next match is the semi-finals." Videl states with a fake smile.

"Bah as if I want to watch the old sweaty guys fight. What I want to know is if you have figured out any way to fix your problem? I've tried to find stuff out myself with no luck." Erasa states with a sour look.

"Huh what problem are you talking about?" Luke asks with his girlfriend just as confused.

*sigh* "I suppose that it doesn't matter who knows anymore…" Videl states. "As I am sure you have kind of figured out already the whole reason I can fight in this tournament is because my dad is a king even if in name only. Now think about it…in our non-existent kingdom just how many girls are there?" Videl asks making both of the friends stare at her shocked.

"Wait so you are trying to get married to this random guy? I thought that you wanted nothing to do with relationships." Luke asks stunned.

*tsk* "I don't. But my jerk of a father is pushing me into this and if I don't try my best to win then he will make my life as miserable as he can without social media ripping him a new one." Videl states then gets a big hug from Destiny.

"Oh that is such bullshit. How can he do that to you after all you've done?" Destiny asks crying a bit.

"Don't ask me." Videl grumbled but made no move to leave the hug.

"It's still not right! There has to be something we can do to get you out of this marriage." Luke states angrily. "I know why don't you just tell the prince when you see him that you aren't interested in him and nominate whoever's kingdom came in second."

"I wish I could be this isn't a perfect world where that'll work out. Marriages that are nothing but political ploys happen all the time even if there is no love involved. And I mean what kingdom wouldn't want to say they have an 'in' with the world savior." Videl states. For as far as she or any of them could think of there was no real way out of her marrying some random stranger.

"But what if it's not as bad as you are thinking?" A voice states from afar. They then look to see that Gohan has found them at some point after their group entered the library. "I mean sure you don't know him but he could try and make you happy." He states.

"…I guess that is true we don't know if he will truly be a scumbag or not." Erasa mutters getting some hope that Videl could at least be decently happy even after a forced marriage.

"Maybe. I am just saying you never know. Things could surprise you…now Videl do you mind if we talk a bit…alone?" Gohan asks a bit awkwardly. Course him saying this brought the memory of what she did to the front of her mind and she quickly blushes from embarrassment.

"M-maybe later I just remembered I need to get something from my room." Videl states and tries to flee the room only for Gohan to grab her hand before she could get past him.

"Please Videl I promise it is very important to what is going on here." Gohan begs stopping her for only a second before she pulls her hand away.

"I'm sorry it is just too painful to think about" Videl mutters and heads to the door again.

"Videl! But the thing is that I am the prince!" Gohan calls out but the library door shut behind Videl already. "Damn it…of course the room I finally just get it out is the room that is soundproofed." Gohan mutters and prepares to chase after Videl to say it so she could actually hear him. "You are the prince!" he hears being yelled behind him finally remembered the rest of the group never left the area.

"You mean to tell me that Videl has been stressed all this time and meanwhile you were this mysterious prince! You have to be joking with me." Erasa states looking a bit angry.

"I-I'm not. My family has been this kingdoms royalty for years now. But I was supposed to be allowed to live in privacy until grandpa couldn't rule anymore. But of course, those old farts had to change that for us." Gohan explained.

"Who cares about why? What I care about is why you never told her. Do you have any idea how stressed Videl was being stuck with some random guy? And at ANY point you could have just told her." Erasa states angrily pushing a finger into his chest.

"I-I just found out that she was wrapped into this when we got here. And I HAVE been trying to tell her since I found out. She has just been avoiding me for some reason." Gohan explains making Erasa surprised again.

"Oh really? I can't believe she would do that. I mean I have never known her to EVER at shy. Either you are lying or something must have happened to make her do that." Destiny states and the group watches as Gohan's expression goes from nervous to surprised back to nervous and finally to embarrassed.

"Oh so something DID happen! Spill it; what happened!" Erasa orders.

"Umm n-nothing happened…" Gohan states rubbing the back of his head clearly lying "…anyways I have to go see if I can find her so….see you guys later." He quickly adds and runs off.

"Oh no you don't!" Erasa states running to catch up to Gohan but even without him using superhuman speeds she couldn't catch him as he slips out of the room. She at least made it to the door but quickly gave up knowing she stood no chance. "Darn you Gohan Son. I will make sure to get the story out of you soon enough!" Erasa then yells down the hall.

"…You know I never would have guessed that not only was Videl forced into this tournament but that we also would already know the oh so mysterious prince…if he wasn't full of shit." Luke states rather stunned now that he started to truly digest the information he just got.

"No kidding…I don't know if I am more angry at Mr. Satan, sad for Videl, or happy to know a prince." Destiny agrees. "And honestly I lean towards believing him seeing as he obviously can't lie to save his own life."

"True" Luke mutters.

"Gah that boy. I swear I'll get information out of him soon enough." Erasa states as she walked back to the other two. "So, which one of the two do you think it'll be easier to find to get information?" She asks confusing the two.

"…what?" Luke asked.

"Oh come on! You guys can't be satisfied with jus that little bit of information after all those fact bombs hit us. We need to find out more about this story!... oh and tell Videl Gohan's secret." Erasa tells them practically with sparkles in her eyes from being so excited.

*sigh* "I don't like feeding your nosy desires usually but this time we kind of seem to be required to let Videl know." Destiny admits but then quickly realizes something. "Wait! He's been friends with Lime, Bri, AND is Mel's brother and NONE of them told us anything this whole time." She states making both friends beside her realize this as well.

"Oh my god you are right! Grr those three better be ready because I am getting to the bottom of this NOW! Come on I'll try to get in contact with Videl after she calms down a bit. We need to find any one of those girls right now!" Erasa orders.

"Heh. Don't have to tell me twice. While I feel awful for Videl this is becoming like our own mystery detective story." Luke states following after Erasa as she rushes back towards where the rest of the group was.

=Viewing area; friend group=

At this point besides the group that went to the library and Sharpner who went to the bathroom were sitting around waiting. Meanwhile the last fight before the semi-finals was happening. Sadly the group wasn't really paying attention so noticed rather quickly that a chunk of their friends were running towards them fast.

"Hey guys welcome back" Mel states simply though was rather surprised to see them clearly upset.

"How dare you not tell us about Gohan's secret!" Erasa calls out getting the attention of everyone around them.

"…ok how about we take this conversation somewhere else." Lime states quickly and pushes those standing back towards the entrance with the rest of the group following. Course several people tried to follow to satisfy their curiosity. But that quickly stopped after a death glare from Mel, Bri, and Miara making it not worth the danger. So, this lead them to be in a smaller room a ways away from anyone that could hear the conversation.

"Ok so what the hell are you so mad about now?" Mel asks.

"Why didn't you tell us that Gohan was a prince…and that you are a princess! We've known you for years now and you have kept this fact from us like its not a HUGE deal." Erasa states.

"Oh, so that is what you have found out." Bri mutters visibly relaxing a bit.

"We didn't want to be treated differently so we hid it from everyone. The only people that know are those that are staff in the castle and those we have to work with regularly. And honestly it wouldn't have mattered at all if we went with the plan we started off with and kept the reveal on hold until our younger siblings are out of school…but of course those old bastards had to push for a change of plans." Mel explains.

"You expected us not to be friends after school?" Desitny asks hurt.

"No!" Mel firmly states. "It's not that I didn't think we would be friends it is that I thought that we would be further in our lives so that you didn't freak out as much. I mean it should have been in like fifteen years; they are NO where near college age." Mel explains. Though if she was completely honest a good portion of why she didn't at least tell them was simply because if they took it badly it would be a lot easier to cut them out of her life when she didn't have to see them every day still.

"You still could have told us. Just because you didn't want it to be public doesn't mean you couldn't just tell your friends." Luke states still annoyed.

"Heh, he got you there." Bri states only to get elbowed by her brother.

"Ok yes, I messed up. I just didn't want you guys to treat me differently…I'm sorry." Mel stated honestly.

*sigh* "It's not in me to stay mad at anyone even if you deserve it…I forgive you but no more secrets from now on, ok? Promise me." Erasa states making the group look at her awkwardly.

"Oh come on there is more secrets that you guys have been keeping from us?" Destiny asks a bit annoyed.

"…yes but that is because.." Mel begins before Bri walks in front of her.

"We are keeping secrets because they don't affect just us. It's not that we don't trust you guys or appreciate you. There are just somethings that need to stay buried no matter what. I mean you guys are lying if you say that you have told us ALL of your secrets." Bri states firmly getting awkward looks from the group.

*tsk* "Fine, but if things change then I demand to be the first one to know you hear me!" Erasa demands.

"…Who knew that she had this kind of fire inside of her." Miara says rather surprise that the cheerful bubbly girl completely changed when annoyed.

"Ya it's surprising but honestly I am a lot happier if this side of her stays buried." Lime responds seeing as Erasa always was so drastically different when mad.

"Oh I almost forgot!" Erasa states losing the anger from her voice. "What happened between Gohan and Videl to make them both be acting so weird?"

"Heh is that all? Gohan got kissed by Videl before this tournament and confessed to because she though that she couldn't be with him." Bri explains getting hit in the side by her brother again.

"What? It's their fault for making it obvious that something happened between them." She states simply. Course Erasa could only stare at Bri in shock.

"Hey you ok Erasa? Usually, you would be squealing and going crazy about news like this." Destiny states. But instead of answering Erasa gave a completely serious look to the group.

"Girl talk, now!" Erasa orders grabbing Lime and Bri's hands and pulling them away. Both girls didn't try and escape at all and instead just let themselves be dragged away with Mel and Destiny deciding to follow.

"…ok I guess I'll just wait here." Luke states dully as Miara walks up to him.

"Trust me you will be a lot happier to not have to be in that talk." Miara states simply with an amused look. At this point Sharpenr just happened to walk through the area and see the two boys just looking at him.

"Umm what did I miss?" Sharpner eventually asks confused getting a few laughs from the two boys making him even more confused.

"…I honestly don't know." Luke states but shrugs. "Whatever it is though it apparently only involves the girls so whatever." He told him seeing as he honestly didn't see what the problem was. Plus, if it was something interesting he was sure that his girlfriend would tell him later.

_Girl group_

After separating from the boys Erasa made sure that there was no one around before finally looking back to her waiting friends.

"Ok so you got us separated from the boys and made sure that no one is around us. So, now can you tell us what has gotten you even more amped up then you already were?" Destiny asks

"I am 'amped up' because Videl kissed Gohan!" Erasa states.

"Ok…Bri already told us that." Destiny says simply.

"Oh that's right you don't know." Erasa states then grabs Bri and Lime on the shoulders. "These two are already dating said boy." She added making Destiny look surprised at the two of them.

"…she's not lying but I don't know how she knows." Lime admits a bit embarrassed. It was situations like this that they wanted to avoid by hiding the relationship from those not 'in the know'.

"Wait! So you are tell me that not only is Gohan somehow dating two girls who are OK with it for some reason. But Videl also is trying to get with him?" Destiny asks stunned. "…it's always the quiet ones you have to look out for" She couldn't help but mutter getting a chuckle from Mel and Bri.

"Heh, Gohan isn't doing anything wrong. In fact, we both came to him at the same time and forced him to accept the idea." Bri explains to the group. Course Destiny and Erasa could not understand why in the world they would do that. But eventually just shrugged it off seeing as they seemed happy and it had nothing to do with them. "So, how did you end up finding out? Though I am happy that you were at least considerate enough to not use it for your gossip addiction." Bri adds to the girl who hmphs at her.

"I may love my gossip but even I can respect my friends wishes for privacy." Erasa states.

"I guess she means this as long as she gets the answer she wants still…else we wouldn't even be having this talk." All of the girls couldn't help but think but decided to keep quiet rather than anger the blond in front of them.

"Anyways Videl actually was the one who happened to see you back at capsule corp. but don't worry I am the only one she has told." Erasa explains.

"So Videl knew that Gohan had a girlfriend…two even…and she still went to kiss him. Who knew that she would be a boyfriend thief kind of gal." Destiny equates from the current conversation. "Though I gotta say I am rather surprised that you girls aren't more upset about this fact."

*shrug* "We already know that she is most likely going to be the one to win the competition so she is going to be joining us anyways. So, not much to get mad about honestly." Bri tells her simply.

"I just am getting more and more questions the more I learn about Gohan and you guys." Destiny mutters rubbing her temples. "I guess let's start off with why the HELL would this competition even start if the prince was already set up. Did you guys just want him to have a harem that much that you decided to add one this way?"

"No, we aren't do that I promise. The reason this tournament still happened is because the oldies that even the Ox king has to kind of listen to wouldn't stop complaining that a prince must marry a princess to create a heir. Else we would have shut down this whole thing." Lime explains with a healthy blush on her face.

"…I guess that makes sense" Destiny mutters. Course she was still unhappy seeing as in her mind a king should have full leadership so they must have been able to stop this and just didn't. But she was willing to accept the answer seeing as she didn't think her friend was lying and she didn't know all the ins and outs of the various world kingdoms.

"What how does that make sense!" Erasa asks.

"I mean we don't know the full situation. Her thought process at least without more information seems to make at least some sense ya know. But anyways I get the reason you chose to not tell us…even though I am unhappy about it. Though why did you not tell Videl? I mean she IS a part of it." Destiny asks.

"Gah! No, they should have told us! Don't give them an out." Erasa grumbles.

*sigh* "Erasa are you complaining because you didn't know a secret first or are you really believing what you are saying?" Lime asks getting Erasa to awkwardly back off seeing as she couldn't completely say that she just wanted the information. After all she was always a naturally curious girl.

"…well anyways we didn't tell Videl because we felt that it was Gohan's place to do so. But of course, he has been kind of failing to do so for a decent while now." Bri explains with a shrug.

"…yea we kind of ruined the last chance he had…" Destiny admits feeling a bit awkward. She then looked to Mel who has been mostly quiet. "And what is your take of all this?"

"I mean it has very little to do with me. They are telling Videl which is what I want but other than that it is their own lives. What they do with it is up to them." Mel told her simply.

*sigh* "Ohh all this new information is giving me a headache trying to make sense of it all." Erasa grumbles getting a chuckle out of everyone else.

"And it seems like we got back our old Erasa at least for now. So, how about we go rejoin our group shall we?" Mel asks getting agreement from the rest of the group.

AN: yes I am putting this at the end so it doesn't really need to be an "an" but whatever it doesn't matter. Anyways I have decided that while Mr. Satan is a bad guy in this story who is power hungry and controlling of his daughter and her relationships. He also has some good parts to him like trying to keep his punishment from falling to his daughter as well. And he truly does think that she will be protected from KI users if she is with the Ox kingdom. So, basically instead of making Mr. Satan pure evil I am making him like 60% evil, 15% idiot, 25% decent guy

And that I the end of the chapter. Now I know I kind of went on a few tangents but I had fun with it. With this the friends now knowing about the situation. Also we are FINALLY getting towards the tail end of the tournament so I can do other things instead of just "fight, info, fight, event…." It's rather old but at least it should be pretty good for at least getting towards the end of the tournament. Course I don't fully plan these out and rather just let them take me where they do. Something that most likely makes my writing suffer a bit but I am having fun with it. If it was all stagnant planned out things I feel I'd get bored/think about quitting more. That is something I don't want to do but I will admit that it's rather tiresome to have to do a chapter every single month. But I do still enjoy writing it so we will just have to see what happens and go from there. I meant it when I said that I don't want to leave anything I write without finishing it at least roughly. Though don't worry I have no plans of just half assing my writing at least for a while.
