"Harve! Harve!" Dammit, where is he!" Aaron said to himself. He came around to the stairs and saw someone on the stairs, "Mr. Stemple, Sir, I think you should come with me!" Aaron walked toward where the equipment for the mill. In the dim light by the steam sawmill, Aaron saw him, Harve was dead!

The snow had stopped and now it was just rain. We wondered what had happened to him. Late that night we heard a loud crash on the cabin door There was a man lying on the ground in front of our door. "My, my son, where, where is he?" My brother found him and saw that he looked as wretched as his father. He said his name was Jonathan Bolt and his son was Jason.

Joshua and his brothers face a challenging time.

Jeremy looked when he was pushed into the hole itself. He landed with a loud thud. He lay there unconscious on his stomach. The hole was covered up. When his brothers came with a horse pulling a log, they stopped and filled up the hole. They had not heard the almost whispered moan that came from underneath the branches and dirt that filled the hole.

While Jeremy is unconscious, he has a dream.

After listening to the story of Romeo and Juliette, Jeremy has a dream.

Jason had promised Jeremy that he would get to go to Olympia for his tenth birthday when Jason had to go to Olympia on business. They had not gone on or around Jeremy's birthday because of some problems at the camp. So, that winter, when Jason had to make another trip, he took Jeremy with him, leaving Joshua behind at Lottie's.

Harvest is a time of celebration and a party and that is just what the citizens are planning for All Hallows Eve. Jason will tell a ghost story and there will be bobbing for apples as well as other activities for children and adults. There is a grove of trees that must never be cut down. Shellie runs into the trees and Joshua runs after her.

This is a story about Seattle trying to attract business and new people to the town. However, as Aaron, Ben, Lottie Hatfield and the Bolts are doing their books, they find that something is wrong. They each receive a part of a riddle, that they must solve to find out why there is a discrepancy in their books. How will The Bolts, especially J. Bolt help the town. Who is J. Bolt?

A continuation. The "Prominent citizens" meet to discuss a way to take back their town. Lottie is told that she will need to sell her saloon, Like Ben who sold his Mercantile, she will be selling her saloon to someone who is arriving on the 1:00pm stage. This person is someone that Jason, Lottie and especially Aaron know. Will she take over? Will love really win?

This story starts off with an argument between Candy and Jeremy and then snowballs to include the whole town of Seattle. Meanwhile, Jason is in Olympia on business while Joshua and Jeremy are minding the business at home. They have both had a bad day. Jeremy had to fire a couple of loggers and Joshua is confronted by Aaron Stemple with a 'new Contract' without Jason's name on it.
