Hello everyone, it's been a long time! I apologize terribly for the long wait as I've been busy focusing on a single story of mine. Say whatever insults you got for me, I'll take it. Anyway, time to get down on some reviews.

CharlleneD: I get what you're saying about Persephone, but I don't think she was ever in Descendants. Plus wasn't she forced to marry Hades? Cruella will join after a few chapters and thank you for deciding on replacing the bad blood.

LovelyLuly: Your vote for Maleficent and Hades is a go. That Cruella isn't bad, she's honestly just a good, crazy one that didn't try to kill dogs for a coat. I'm even starting to think we're talking about two different movies. Tell me which one you mean.

Xero-X Glitch: Okay, the whole bad blood staying and mixing isn't gonna happen. You know why, because even Maleficent has her limits and fusing three sets of blood is too much for her.

S0lng3l0-4eva3: I guess my story is just that good.

lilyflower101: How am I gonna do that exactly? I never even watched Once Upon a Time.

Guest: In Percy Jackson, wasn't Persephone forced into the underworld and blast Hades happily, even had a "night" with that goat man? I know where your vote is, so thanks.

Joey Lestochi: Got it all memorized.

WildWolf12: Adding that movie isn't exactly goona change much. That evil queen was still a cold hearted evil witch.

Guest (2): You're not the first.

Guest (3): Got it.

Gabie: You got it.

SweetHoneyBee: If Maleficent and Diaval really did have those feelings, they would have gotten together at this point. Still, thanks for the vote.

Vseven07: I see. Thank you for your vote.

Cloud Nine: I see. Let me see what I can do.

JayBinkU: They'll understand why she needs to go. And don't worry, Maleficent was able to come back from the dead, so replacing someone's blood with her own could still work. Heck, I read one story that Aurora was Maleficent's actual daughter, yet never got pregnant with her.

Greek Shipper: I read and watched Greek movies and it said Persephone was forced to marry Hades. Plus the Percy Jackson movie didn't really show the two having a good relationship.

Avery: I think you're the only person that wants Mal to stay the same.

Guest (4): Okay, you want Mal to stay the same, but that looks like it's highly unlikely. But I do like you supporting Maleficent and Hades getting together.

Terri Schiavo: Pieces? I think you mean fairies.

Eric holder: I see. Maleficent will invite them, just not yet.

CrimsonTome398: Maleficent can't do that to Aurora because unlike Mal, she has no real family connection to "Maleficent". Mal is able to change because she's the daughter of "Maleficent" and the Dark Fey uses that to change her.

king of nightmares and dragons: My friend, it will be my genuine pleasure.

jdblancocontreras: She has to transform to fly, and if she is forced back into human form, that's gonna be a problem. And don't double message the same thing please.

andjelija nenic: Calm down, I get it. Leave it to me.

Guest (5): This story is about both romance and family.

Abbygail Coon2: She'll find him a bit disappointing a first, but will learn more and find out he really does love Mal. That'll serve as one of the links that'll get Maleficent to like Hades.

ArcticFox09: I hate Adventure Time!

Lucy Hilda Quinn: Got it.

Iam Bob: Why do you want Mal and Ben to break up? They're actually good if you focus hard enough.

WolfQueen001: Honestly; a lot of you guys seem to find it hard for good Maleficent and Hades to be together. There was a story where they did get together called "Hades's Weakness", and it worked.

jessaminego5134: Got it, thank you for your vote.

HolyKnight4Ever: Maleficent turns into a Phoenix, not a dragon. And I already said this before, but Percy Jackson's Hades and Persephone didn't exactly give the whole "Life and Death" love thing.

Jackson Beckworth: Oh, she will!

MickeyM8: Maleficent's independent, I never said she wasn't. I just really think she deserves a true love herself and from all I've watched; Hades is the best, and probably only, choice.

Guest (6): Persephone wasn't in Descendants as far as I'm aware.

Guest (7): I'll do my best.

Lord D: Please explain how is Ben being naive? He just wants to believe in the good of others, even in the worse villains.

DisneyAdmirer22: In Disney's House of Mouse movie, Hades fell for Maleficent at first glance. If it was a green skin woman, just imagine his reaction with the more beautiful one.

Bookworm1234: I see where your vote is going.

Guest (8): Understood.

Warrior Nun: Thank you for the information.

k: Thank you.

Helkil: You have my gratitude.

Mauricio Cunningham: Coming right up!

Blue Wolf blade 16: Oh, you have no idea how much I wish the same.

Guest (9): I'm going for the Phoenix route.

Storm0719: I have no idea what the fuck you just said!

Kitsune No Hi 75: Okay, your vote's are noticed.

DragonRojo122: I only speak and understand English. I have no idea what you just wrote.

Giga the Spacehog: Your votes are noted.

meme991001: You got it.

Eagle. : In the relationship; Maleficent would be the one wearing the pants.

mckenzie96: Thank you for your votes.

danifan3000: She'll wake up once Ben has set everything up for Maleficent to be in Auradon without a problem.

Ailova Noon: Why do you want that?

Yoshiki-909: Your votes are obviously a no for each one.

Daniel6: Okay, got it.

Ruby Warrior Girl 730: Your vote is noted.

212.0: What the hell makes you think I'll pair Maleficent with Cruella?

Aleh: I understand, and will work on it.

Okay everyone, that's all the reviews answered. Now for the votes in total Mal getting her blood replaced, a definite win by a stampede. Same for the Cruella one. Now; the one about Maleficent and Hades starting a relationship, that one was a hard one with many people going for both options.

The votes of Maleficent and Hades not getting together were a total of 17.

The cotes of Maleficent and Hades do getting together is a total of 21, my vote included in them.

So, it is obvious which vote won in the end. And before you guys who didn't want them getting together start shouting at me, I actually counted. Some of you guys didn't give a Yes/No answer, actually just gave your options. I only a Yes or No kind of answer, so since you guys didn't do that, you all didn't vote technically. But I will tell you all this; I understand why you don't want the pairing to happen, but it's gonna happen anyway. I'll at least make it in a way that's fair, right and truly earned.

Okay everyone, that crap has been taken care of and now, we can continue. Like I said last chapter; Maleficent will go to the Isle of the Lost, Ben will talk to his kingdom's citizens and Maleficent will take her daughter and her friends to the Moors. I hope you all enjoy this chapter. Now; let us begin.

Chapter 6: A glimpse into a possible future.

The morning sky was a clear blue colour without a single cloud in sight. In the forest near Auradon Pre School, the wildlife was peaceful with nothing to disturb it. The birds were singing, squirrels were running around in search for nuts and even fish were swimming in the lakes without concern.

And sleeping in the forest with their arms wrapped around each other were Maleficent and Mal; the daughter leaning on her mother. The Dark Fey's wings were wrapped around her daughter, providing warmth for Mal. The two were also still leaning against the tree that they fell asleep against last night with no problem. Maleficent was a fairy that lived in the forest all her life, so this was nothing new. Mal has lived on an island where a bed was rare itself, so sleeping without one is normal for her.

And watching the pair of mother and daughter from above on the tree's branch was Diaval in raven form. Last night he had watched his Mistress and Young Mistress fall asleep together for a bit, before falling asleep himself. He had woken up earlier and was now just watching them sleep a bit longer. It wouldn't be for much longer since he knew Maleficent was sure to wake up soon.

And just as the raven predicted, Maleficent began to awaken. She brought the left hand up to her mouth, just as she yawned. The Dark Fey opened her eyes, feeling freshly re-energized and full of life, much more than normal. And it wasn't just because she didn't have any annoying pests to deal with. It was because of the teenage girl sleeping in her arms.

Maleficent turned her gaze over to Mal's sleeping face, staring at it with eyes full of love. As she stared, Maleficent honestly thought her counterpart from this universe was not only pathetic, but truly a sad existence. The Mistress of Evil thought she could honestly use a hobby. Really, who schemes to steal a wand that has about as much power as a baby Dark Fay. Maleficent's not kidding really, she sensed the wand's power, and it was small compared to the fairies' power back in the Moors. It was why it was so easy to destroy.

'Ahhh, that reminds me. I should probably fix it later today'. Maleficent thought to herself, then gave a chuckle upon remembering how that wand is the most "powerful" magical weapon in this world. It was hilarious, really, but all in all, Maleficent could say she actually felt much happier now, even if her precious bestie was in her world. She was free to enjoy a nice morning with her daughter, Mal.

Maleficent's mind wondered to Ben's bazar request from last night, on helping the villains of this world. The Mistress of Evil was a confident woman, but she felt like this take was too much for her. From all she's heard and learned from Mal's memories, the villains on the Isle of the Lost were nothing like her. She became a villain from betrayal, pain and vengeance. The others, however, became villains out of greed, childish desires or simply because it was who they are.

A perfect example of that would be Maleficent's counterpart from this world. She cursed Aurora when she was a baby merely out of strife because she didn't get an invitation to a christening, to death on her 16th birthday. Maleficent truly despised her counterpart and wouldn't hesitate to strike her down if she tried that with her precious beastie. But more than that, she envied the "Maleficent" of this world because she had the one thing she wanted more than anything else; a child she gave birth to.

When she was young herself, Maleficent dreamed of giving birth to a child herself. Boy or girl, any would have been fine for her. But ever since Stefan's betrayal, she had lost hope of that ever happening. That's why she felt cheated because her rotten counterpart got a daughter she gave birth herself, while she hasn't. But that's the only thing the Dark Fey felt envious of her dark and childish counterpart about.

She didn't raise Mal with love or respect, just treated her like a minion she didn't care about and only kept for her uses. The Dark Fey Maleficent herself would raise Mal with all the love and care in her heart. She'd have taught Mal how to use magic, hold her as they both slumbered and even teach her how to fly. Oh, how she wished that she was the one that gave birth to Mal instead of her counterpart.

Maleficent's thoughts turned to Mal's father, the supposed God of death; Hades. Maleficent has never really believed in the existence of gods before, but after seeing through Mal's memories she's a believer now. She didn't know much about Hades, other than the fact he tried to overthrow his brother and doom his nephew, all because he was sick of the Underworld. And he wasn't there for Mal when she was growing up under her counterpart's terrible care.

Yet despite all of this, the Dark Fey wasn't sure what to feel about Hades just yet. And if wasn't just him she saw in Mal's memories, she saw the innocent children on that forsaken isle Mal grew up on. All of them struggling to survive, punished all for the sins of their parents. No proper meals, no clean clothes and not even a real bed to sleep on.

The Mistress of Evil's face slightly fell upon thinking of those suffering children. All they wanted was to leave the Isle of the Lost and live free without being shackled. Some have turned out to be good people like Mal's friend Dizzy Tremaine, and others more complicated like that Uma girl that's been Mal's longtime rival.

If she was still consumed with revenge against Stefan, Maleficent wouldn't have paid those people any mind. Now though, she couldn't stop thinking about them and the suffering they've experienced. A part of the Dark Fey wanted to help them, but another part was telling her to go back home and keep a close eye on Philip so that he wouldn't make a move on Aurora.

Maleficent lifted her head up to look at Diaval up above. "Diaval?" She spoke, catching the raven's attention as it let out a "caw" in response. Diaval spread his wings and took flight, right as Maleficent raised her right hand. "Into a man". She chanted, a brief bit of yellow magic appearing around her right hand. Just as he was about to reach the ground, he transformed into his human form.

Diaval landed on his feet perfectly, then turned to look at Maleficent with a warm smile. "Good morning, Mistress". He greeted the Dark Fey warmly, something that she gave a small smile at. "Morning, Diaval". She greeted him back, bowing her head slightly. Maleficent raised her head to look at the human form raven and narrowed her eyes a bit. "Diaval, be honest with me and tell what you think about what Ben said last night. About me helping the villains of this world". She told her old friend, wanting to hear his honest thoughts about Ben's request.

Diaval grew an uncertain expression, before placing both hands on his hips. "...To be honest, I think he's asking too much. I understand that he wants to help the villains that there's good in the world, but they aren't like you. And you're not exactly a therapist". Diaval joked, then chuckled with an amused grin. Maleficent, on the other hand, wasn't amused the slightest as she stared at her friend with an emotionless face.

The human form raven cleared his throat after he was done chuckling. "Still, I understand why he'd ask something like that. From everything we've heard, you're practically a living legend with how you were both a villain and hero". Diaval stated, getting a chuckle from his friend at what he called her. "Flattering, really". The Mistress of Evil stated, amused with the thought of her being referred to a legend.

Diaval chuckled as well, before slightly narrowing his eyes. "And this might work in your favor. You can take this chance to meet Mal's father". Diaval told the Mistress of Evil, which she gave a small exhausted sigh with both eyes closed. "Are you still on about that idea of yours?" Maleficent questioned the human form raven, certain that he's still going with that idea of his.

Diaval gave a nod of the head, no hint of hiding his desire. "In our world, we have no idea if gods exist or not. But in this world, they do apparently. Even if you get with someone, there's no certainty that it'll be Mal you'll have. Your counterpart is crazy for an understatement, but her being with someone and having a child must have meant she felt something for him. So, there's a chance you'll feel something for him yourself. And if all goes well, you'll have a new lover and a chance to have your own version of Mal". Maleficent's old friend explained to her, growing more excited by the second.

Maleficent opened her eyes and turned to look at the excited human form raven. "The chances of me falling in love with this "Hades" is incredibly low, after all that's happened to me. And besides..." She stopped to look down at her sleeping daughter with eyes full of love. "I may not have given birth to this "Mal", but she's my daughter overall. And she's more than enough". The Dark Fey finished, running her left hand through Mal's beautiful purple hair.

Diaval chuckled once more with a wide smile at seeing his mistress's love for Mal. Truly, coming to this world wasn't a mistake because Maleficent was finally able to have a daughter of her own, and he had a young mistress to serve. Diaval truly wanted his mistress to be as happy as possible, and strongly believed that having a family is exactly what'll deliver happiness to her.

"I may not have decided on helping this world's villains or give Hades a chance or not. But I have decided on one thing". Maleficent stated, much to Diaval's curiosity on what it is she's decided on. "Oh? And what would that be?" The human form raven asked his mistress, tilting his head to the side. "To see this Isle of the Lost with my own eyes". Maleficent answered, much to Diaval's surprise at hearing this.

Maleficent lifted her head to look up towards the sky above. "When I was going through Mal's memories yesterday, I saw how the children of this world's villains lived on that forsaken island. It was terrible, and in no way proper for a child to live. I feel a need to see how the people trapped on that island live and see if there's truly anyone good there. Perhaps after I've seen it, I'll have made my decision". The Mistress of Evil explained to the raven, pity leaking out of her voice for all those unfortunate souls trapped on that island because of their parents.

Diaval lost his smile at Maleficent's words. He hasn't seen what his mistress saw in Mal's memories, so he has zero knowledge about what it's like living there. But from what he's heard from Maleficent, it was terrible. "...You do remember there's a barrier around that island, keeping anyone inside from using magic, right?" The human form raven reminded her of the thing that's kept all the people trapped on that island.

"I remember alright, but it is no concern". The Mistress of Evil answered, then gave her famous confident grin. "That barrier was created by that wand, so its power is nothing to worry about compared to my magic. I'll just adjusted it so that I can still use magic once I'm inside it". Maleficent added, bringing up her left hand and stared at it as yellow magic briefly appeared around it.

"That barrier's been around for longer than a decade, but I'm certain it is nothing in the face of you. After all, you're the Mistress of Evil". The human form raven said with a growing grin, words that got a chuckle from Maleficent. Just as she was about to reply to her friend, Maleficent felt Mal shift in her hold. The Dark Fey looked down at Mal and saw the teenage girl was starting to awaken.

Mal let out a small yawn, before she slowly began to open her green eyes. The purple-haired female looked to her mother and saw Maleficent's apologetic smile. "Did I wake you up, Mal? My apologies for that". The Mistress of Evil apologized to her daughter, yet Mal just gave a smile full of happiness. "It's okay, mom. I'm just happy to wake up in your arms". Mal replied to the Dark Fey, soft happiness leaking out of her voice.

Maleficent and Diaval both smiled down at the teenage girl, their very hearts touched by Mal's words. "You can rest a bit more if you'd like". The Dark Fey told her daughter, bringing the left hand to Mal's right cheek and gently stroke it. "No, I'm refreshed and all better now". Mal replied, much to Maleficent's disappointment since she wanted to continue holding the teenage girl a bit longer.

"Very well then". The Dark Fey stated, letting go of Mal and spread her wings wide to let the teenage girl go. Mal unwrapped her arms around Maleficent and climbed up to her feet. The Mistress of Evil climbed up to her feet as well, before holding out her left hand to the side. Maleficent's scepter came flying out of nowhere and into its owner's waiting hand, which she took a good hold of.

"Let's head back to the school. You need to freshen up for the day, and I need to speak with your..."boyfriend" about something". The Mistress of Evil told her daughter, struggling a bit from saying the word "boyfriend" since she still wasn't comfortable with either Mal or Aurora having romantic relationships. Mal blinked at the Dark Fey, then looked down at her isle outfit. She hasn't showered since the night before yesterday, so she probably needs to shower very soon.

But then Maleficent caught her attention at what she said. "Wait, do you mean you've decided to accept Ben's request?" The purple-haired girl asked with a hopeful voice, but to her displeasure, the Mistress of Evil shook her head. "I still haven't made my decision about that yet. I merely wanted to let him know that I'm going to pay a visit to your old home". Maleficent answered Mal, much to her surprise at hearing this.

Before Mal could question her mother on what she planned to do, Maleficent turned to look at Diaval. "Into a horse". The Dark Fey chanted, waving her right hand with yellow magic briefly appearing around it. Mal turned her gaze over to Diaval, just as black smoke appeared around him. The human form raven transformed into the exact same horse form she saw when Maleficent showed her memories.

Horse form Diaval let out a fierce cry, standing up on its rear legs and kicking the front legs. He got back on all four feet, just as Maleficent turned to look at Mal. "Diaval will give you a ride back to the school. I'll fly close, just in case something happens". The Mistress of Evil told her daughter, gesturing to Diaval with her right hand. Mal widen her eyes in surprise, then turned to look at the horse form Diaval that was staring at her.

After a moment of staring, Mal turned back to her mother with a nervous grin on her face. The Mistress of Evil raised an eyebrow at seeing Mal's expression, then let out a disappointed sigh at realizing what's wrong with her. "You don't know how to ride a horse, do you?" She questioned the younger female, much to the purple-haired girl's surprise as she let out a small gasp of surprise.

The Dark Fey shook her head, growing more disappointed with her counterpart. "She didn't even teach you how to rise a simple horse. My counterpart is more incompetent than I first thought". Maleficent said to herself, wondering just what was wrong with that woman. She let out a sigh, then looked at Mal with slightly narrowed eyes.

"Climb aboard Diaval and keep a hold on his hair. I'll be close by in case you lose your grip". The Mistress of Evil told her daughter, gesturing to Diaval with her scepter. Mal still had a nervous expression as she looked over from her mother to Diaval, before making her way over to him. The horse form raven got down on his knees so that Mal could climb up with more ease.

Mal slowly walked over to the kneeling form of Diaval and stopped right beside him. The purple-haired female stared down at Diaval for a few moments, before she eventually climbed onto his back. With the passenger secured, Maleficent's transformed friend climbed up onto its feet and gave out a snout. Mal, on the other hand, clutched Diaval's hair tight, as if she was afraid of letting go.

Maleficent gave an amused chuckle, then spread both wings wide and flapped them, lifting herself off the ground. "Let us be off!" The Dark Fey exclaimed, which Diaval cried out in response. The horse form raven then took off in Auradon Prep School's direction fast with Mal screaming out in a frighten manner. Maleficent let out an amused laugh, before she flew after her daughter and friend.

It took just 10 minutes until they arrived back there, and just like yesterday, there's no one there. The only ones waiting outside were Jay, Carlos and Evie with the blue-haired girl holding Dude in her arms. All four of them cried out in surprise at the sight of Mal ridding atop that same black horse they saw in Maleficent's memories. "Guuuuys!" Mal cried out with wide eyes, worried that Diaval will accidentally run them over.

Fortunately for her, the horse form raven stopped in front of Mal's friends. It gave a snout, then got down on its knees to allow Mal to dismount. Mal dismounted Diaval , but was shaking all over. "Whoa girl, you look like you've gone through the world's most terrifying rollercoaster". Jay remarked with wide eyes, just as Diaval got back up on all four feet. "I think I can see why". Carlos commented, giving a small shiver at the thought of ridding atop a horse.

From out of nowhere, Maleficent flew down from above and landed on the other side of Diaval. The other three teenagers all jumped a little at her unexpected entrance, while Maleficent turned to look at her rather shaken daughter. "I'm gonna have to take some time to teach you how to properly ride a horse if an occasion ever comes up where you have to travel fast". The Dark Fey said to her daughter, grabbing Mal's attention as she turned to look at the older female.

"In Auradon, we don't ride on horses anymore. We've got cars and motorcycles to ride on". The purple-haired female told her mother, yet Maleficent just chuckled in amusement. "I saw those things in your memory, and I'm not impressed. Relying on a machine instead of a living creature for transport, I don't like it". Mal's mother said, then turned her gaze over to Diaval and smiled at him.

"Diaval's my trusted friend, that's why I rely on him greatly. I'll teach you that lesson someday, Mal". Maleficent told Mal, then turned her gaze over to Diaval. "Into a man". She chanted, waving her right hand's index and middle fingers out with yellow magic briefly appearing around them. Black smoke appeared over Diaval as he transformed back into his human form.

Dude barked, before jumping out of Evie's arms and ran over to Diaval. The human form raven let out a startled cry, before backing away from Dude with both hands up. "Back! Back I say, stinking beast!" Diaval exclaimed with an alarmed voice, much to Carlos' annoyance at what he called his best friend. "Beast?! That's just offensive!" The son of Cruella exclaimed with an offended voice, yet Diaval ignored him.

The human form raven turned around and began running like his life depended on it, while Dude chased after him, barking all the while. Maleficent, Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos all watched with amused faces as Diaval ran away from a harmless dog like Dude. "This has got to be the most funniest thing I've ever seen!" Joy laughed out, but didn't notice Carlos wincing a bit at what he said. After all, he ran from Dude the first time he met him.

Evie giggled with a wide smile, but then blinked upon remembering something important. She turned to look at Mal and tapped her left shoulder, catching the purple-haired female's attention. "Mal, Ben wanted me to tell you that him and his family will be waiting for you where you guys had that argument before for breakfast". The blue-haired female told her close friend, catching Maleficent's attention from overhearing this.

The Dark Fey turned to look at Evie, just as Mal spoke. "Okay, thanks for telling me Evie". Mal thanked her friend, which Evie gave a wave of her left hand. "Don't worry about it. Anyway, let's go and fresh you up because you smell a bit". The blue-haired girl said, taking her friend's left hand with her right one and took off, dragging Maleficent's daughter with her.

The Mistress of Evil watched both teenage girls go, until she turned her gaze over to Carlos. "Carlos". She spoke, grabbing the young man's attention as he turned to look at her with a curious expression. "Yes miss?" Carlos asked with a nervous voice, something that Maleficent gave a small giggle at. "Could you look for that Fairy Godmother and ask her to come find me with her broken wand? Tell her it's so that I can fix the wand". Maleficent answered, much to Carlos' surprise at hearing this.

"Really? You can fix it?" Carlos asked with a hopeful voice since that wand was the only known way to take down that barrier surrounding the Isle of the Lost one day. "Of course I can. It's rather simple". Maleficent answered, though she seemed a bit confused at why he sounded so hopeful. She knew he once tried to steal that wand with Jay, Evie and Mal, but has long interest in it after all that's happened.

Jay came right up to Maleficent with a bright grin, catching the Dark Fey's attention as she turned to look at him. "That wand is the only chance we've got for everyone trapped on the Isle of the Lost to one day leave and come to Auradon". The son of Jafar explained to Maleficent, which she just raised an eyebrow. "...I guess that makes sense since that wand was what created the barrier in the first place". The Mistress of Evil stated, then gave a shrug of her shoulders.

"Although it might have been the only way with the magic of this world. If I was so easily able to destroy that wand, then that barrier shouldn't be a problem for me". The Mistress of Evil said with a confident grin, much to the bewilderment of Jay and Carlos at hearing this. "Wait, really? You really think you can destroy the barrier without trouble?" Carlos asked with a fascinated voice, which Maleficent nodded to him.

"I'll have to see it first, but I'm fairly confident. Although, I wouldn't say that destroying the barrier is a good idea with how it's keeping villains from breaking out and creating chaos". The Dark Fey said with a frown, folding her wings in as she spoke. "Tell me; do you two, Evie and Mal still desire to bring that barrier down one day?" Maleficent questioned the two boys, much to their surprise at this rather unexpected question.

Jay and Carlos turned to look at each other for a moment, then at Maleficent and nodded to her. "Of course we do! There are many people there that deserve to be free!" Jay exclaimed strongly, bringing up his right fist to express how strong his desire is. "We've been working with Ben on picking four more kids from the Isle of the Lost and bring them here to Auradon. Ben's all in for it and in a few weeks or months, we'll be ready". Carlos told Maleficent with an excited smile, yet the Dark Fey just frowned at him.

"Are you two even aware of the dangers of letting those villains free?" The Dark Fey asked Jay and Carlos, catching them off guard as they took a step back. "Time doesn't change a person's heart if it is filled with vengeance. Your parents and my counterpart sent you boys, Evie and Mal here to steal that wand. All so that they could get their revenge on those that trapped them on that forsaken island". Maleficent explained to the boys, narrowing both eyes in a cold manner as she spoke.

Carlos and Jay smiled nervously, none of them wanting to annoy or anger the Mistress of Evil since they know full well that's a bad idea. "C-come on now, don't you think you're thinking a little too negatively? I'm sure that anybody could change with time and-" Jay spoke, only for Maleficent to speak up and cut him off. "If it was that simple, Stefan wouldn't have tried to end my life after Aurora was saved from the curse". Maleficent said with a frown, wings lightly spreading as she spoke.

Both Jay and Carlos were rendered speechless upon remembering the man that betrayed this Dark Fey in front of them. The two silently admit that she had a point since all the villains on the Isle of the Lost still harbored resentment for the heroes that defeated them. Jay let out a sigh with both eyes closed, then looked straight at Maleficent. "My dad tried to overthrow a Sultan, rule a kingdom and take the sultan's daughter for himself". The son of Jafar told Maleficent, much to her curiosity at why he's telling her this.

Carlos, on the other hand, knew what his friend was doing. He turned to look at the Dark Fey and spoke. "My mum tried to kill a whole pack of Dalmatians dogs, all so that she could make fur coats". The teenage boy told Maleficent, stunning her at how ridiculous a villain Carlos' mother sounds. "And Evie's mom... She married into a royal family, and tried to kill her stepdaughter Snow White with a poison apple. All because her magic mirror told Evil Queen that Snow White was the fairest of them all, more than her". Carlos continued, now telling the Mistress of Evil about Evie's mother and her terrible deeds.

Maleficent narrowed her eyes, feeling absolute disgust at hearing the Evil Queen's deeds. Not just hers, but the deeds of Jafar and Cruella de Vil. She didn't need to be told about her counterpart's deeds since she already knew them from seeing Mal's memories. All in all, these people weren't villains because of betrayal or revenge, just because they were terrible people. They were nothing like her, someone that became evil not because of desire or greed, but because she was betrayed by someone she trusted.

"It's not just them, but the other villains on that island as well. But there are good people there as well, kids just like us. I get what you're saying, but kids can change a person, just like your Aurora changed you". Jay told the Dark Fey, words that she couldn't deny because they were true. Aurora changed her for the better, freeing her from the curse of anger and hatred.

"I'll admit that not everyone on the isle changed, but some have. They deserve a chance to see what it's like here in Auradon". Carlos said, then gave Maleficent a face full of pleading. "You were a villain but became a hero. You're proof that anyone can change for the better, so please help the villains change". The teenage boy pleaded to her, clapping both hands together as if he was praying to her.

Maleficent let out an emotionally exhausted sigh at Carlos's pleading, beginning to suspect just how important this request was not just to Ben, but Mal and the others. "I haven't made my decision just yet, but I am considering it. There's just one thing I need to see first, before I decide". The Mistress of Evil told Carlos, much to his hope at hearing her words.

"Really? Then what is it you want to see?" Jay asked with an eager voice, growing just as hopeful as Carlos at the chance of Maleficent helping the other villains. "I want to see what life is like on the Isle of the Lost with my own eyes". The Dark Fey answered, much to the boys' surprise since this wasn't what they were expecting to hear. Maleficent continued on, not giving either Jay or Carlos a chance to speak just yet.

"I want to see how the people live on that island. To see the villains of this world and know if there really is any chance for them or not. And..." Maleficent stopped herself, as she was about to mention Mal's father. She saw from Mal's memories that the only one that knows that Hades is Mal's father is Evie, while Jay and Carlos didn't know. Maleficent didn't feel like it was her place to tell them about Hades and that it should be Mal that tells them.

"...And to see how the children have suffered". She added, dodging what she was about to say. Jay and Carlos looked at each other with uncertain faces, but nodded since they could understand why she wanted to go to their old home. "Okay, we got it, but listen. There's a few things you gotta know when you're in the Isle". Jay told Maleficent, then gave a mischievous grin and turn to look at Carlos.

The son of Cruella de Vil returned the mischievous smile, then nodded to Jay. He turned to face the Mistress of Evil, but just as he was about to open his mouth to sing, Maleficent stopped him. "If you explain in the form of a song, I'll turn the both of you into worms". She "threatened" the two with narrowed eyes and a cold voice, resulting in a shiver running down the spines of both Jay and Carlos.

The two chuckled nervously since that kinda ruined the mood for them on singing. "You...really don't like singing, do you?" Carlos said with a nervous voice, even taking a gulp. "Whatever gave you that impression?" Maleficent questioned with a voice full of sarcasm, no attempt to hide how she feels about this world's strange habit of singing. Both isle boys sighed, both mentally deciding not to sing in front of the Mistress of Evil ever.

"Okay, look. Basically, you just need to keep your eye out for behind you. It's like survival of the fittest there". Jay told Maleficent, but that just made her scoff in amusement. "You children have no idea what "survival of the fittest" really is. If magic-less kids like you two, Evie and Mal were able to handle it, it'll be no concern for me". The Mistress of Evil said with a confident voice, then slightly narrowed her eyes at both boys.

"Now, don't you two have school to attend to?" Maleficent asked with a hint of curiosity, wondering if today was a day off or a public holiday. "No, not really. With the former King and Queen's anniversary going on and your surprise entrance, school's off for the whole week. Heck, almost everyone's too scared to come out because you're running around". Jay answered with a chuckle at remembering how scared out of their minds the people of Auradon are right now.

"I don't blame them. Our Maleficent's bad and evil looking, so the thought of her free and on the loose is scary enough to terrify people. Not to mention that your...appearance..." Carlos paused, taking a moment to look at Maleficent's wings and horns before continuing. "Kinda adds in the effects". He added, then gave a nervous chuckle.

Maleficent let out a sigh, then opened her mouth to speak only for barking to catch her attention. She, Carlos and Jay turned to see Diaval was still running away with Dude chasing him, the dog barking as he ran. "Forgot about that". Maleficent said with a small grin, bringing up the left hand and snapped her fingers with yellow magic briefly appearing around the fingers.

Black smoke appeared around Diaval as he shrunk down and transform back into his raven form. The restored bird quickly took flight and flew away, much to Dude's displeasure as he stopped running. "Hey! That's not fair!" Dude cried out, which Diaval just gave a "caw" in response as he flew over and perched on Maleficent's scepter, safe and sound from that hound.

Maleficent gave a chuckle, before she looked at Jay. "Keep an eye on my counterpart in case she tries something. You never know what that lizard could be plotting". The Dark Fay told Jay, which he gave a salute with his left hand. "Yes ma'am!" The son of Jafar exclaimed with a voice full of life, getting a pleased smile from Maleficent. The Dark Fay turned the other way and began walking away, catching Carlos' attention.

"Hold up a second! Don't you need someone to show you where Ben and his parents are?" Carlos questioned the Mistress of Evil, while Dude ran up and stopped in front of its best friend. "No need. I know my way around here now". Maleficent answered, waving her left hand over the shoulder. Jay, Carlos and Dude watched Maleficent walk away, until she eventually left their sight.

"Geez man, she's one very proud woman. She's like Mal, only 10 times more intense". Carlos said with a small wince, honestly considering that Dark Fey woman to be the proudest woman he's ever met before. "That makes two of us, brother". Jay remarked, crossing both arms. "Still, I wonder how tasty that bird friend of hers is". Dude said with an eager voice, catching both Carlos and Jay by surprise as they looked down at him and shivered.

(2 minutes later)

Maleficent had gone through the Auradon Prep School fields, Diaval still perched on his mistress's scepter, until they eventually arrived at a gazebo overlooking a calm green pound and surrounding lush green tree-filled countryside, the exact same one that Mal and Ben had an argument. Speaking of the King of Auradon, Ben and his parents; Adem and Belle sat around a table with two empty chairs right on Ben's left. The table had a few dishes of good quality food waiting to be devoured.

The royal family took notice of Maleficent's arrival and all waved at her. "Maleficent, good morning!" Ben called out with a cheerful and warm voice. Maleficent raised her left hand and returned the wave, walking over to the empty chair that was the furthest away from Ben. She folded both wings in, then placed her scepter against the table gently with Diaval hopping onto on top of the table.

"So, that scepter basically has no power on its own, right?" Adam asked with curiosity, catching Maleficent's attention as she turned to look at him. "Yes, it's powerless without me. Unlike my counter's scepter that gives her power, my magic is all my own". The Mistress of Evil answered Ben's father, bringing both hands up right as green magic appeared around them briefly.

Adam looked a bit uncomfortable at seeing Maleficent's magic, but remained silent. Belle placed her right hand on her husband's left shoulder to provide him comfort. "So. have you made your decision yet?" Ben asked Maleficent with a hopeful voice, something that she let out a sigh at since she's been asked that question more than once today. "You're not the first one to ask that, and I'll give you the same answer I've given the others. I haven't made my decision yet, not until I see the Isle of the Lost first". The Mistress of Evil answered, much to Ben's surprise at hearing this.

He wasn't the only one surprised, so were his parents. "You want to see the Isle of the Lost?" Belle asked with wide eyes, wondering why Mal's other worldly mother would want to go there. "I want to see with my own eyes the place that Mal and the others grew up in. And see the hardships they've gone through. I just need to spend a single day there, then I'll finally come to a decision". The Mistress of Evil told Ben's mother, then gazed down at the plate of food in front of her.

"I get it. You want to see the people Ben's asking you to help, and see for yourself how different they are compared to you and Stefan, right?" Adam questioned Maleficent, something she gave a nod of the head to. The Dark Fey then blinked upon thinking of something, before she turned to look at the former king and queen of Auradon. "You two had a tale of your own, right? What happened in it?" Maleficent asked Adam and Belle, curious to hear about their tale and the villain in it.

At Maleficent's question; Adam grew uncertain, and Belle just smiled an uneasy smile. "Our tale is...complicated to say the least. And a bit emotional for my husband here". The former queen told Maleficent, much to her curiosity on what she meant by that. "Oh? If it's too much to talk about, I can read both your minds to find out sooner". The Dark Fey offered to Auradon's retired king and queen, something that Adam was quick to object to.

"No thank you!" He exclaimed, bringing both hands up and shook them sideways in denial. Maleficent raised an eyebrow at seeing Adam's quick denial, then turned to look at Ben. "My dad...doesn't really have the best relationship with magic". Auradon's young king told his girlfriend's mother, much to her curiosity at what he meant by that. "If you want, you can look through my memories. I didn't live through the events, but I know every single detail about my parents' tale". Ben told Maleficent, knowing the tale of "Beauty and the Beast" like the back of his own hand.

"Hmmm..." Maleficent hummed in thought, then gave a short nod of the head. "Hold still". The Dark Fey told Ben, before spreading her right wing and gently touched the back of Ben's head with it. Auradon's king blinked in confusion, while Maleficent waved her right hand's fingers out with yellow magic briefly appearing around them. Ben then gasped as both his and Maleficent's eyes gleamed bright yellow.

Adam and Belle watched in concern, but their worries were put at ease as soon as their son's eyes stopped gleaming. Ben breathed out with wide eyes at that strange experience he just underwent, while Maleficent folded her right-wing in. "Thank you Ben". The Mistress of Evil thanked her daughter's boyfriend, now fully aware of the tale of "Beauty and the Beast".

"It's no problem, really. If it could help you in anyway, I'm happy to help". Auradon's king told his future mother-in-law, at least he hopes she will be someday. Maleficent gave Ben a smile, then turned to look at Adam and Bell. "...Your tale is an interesting one, I have to admit that. But the villain of your tale, Gaston, is a brainless idiot". The Mistress of Evil said as if she were stating a fact, something that got amused chuckles from the retired king and queen.

"That's an understatement". Belle said with an amused smile, agreeing with Maleficent on that completely. Diaval let out a cry, before taking flight and flew away to the pond, yet the four didn't pay him any attention. "I'm sure you already know about the barrier, so what are you gonna do about it? Please don't tell me that you can destroy it whenever you want". Adam said with a nervous smile, mentally hoping that Maleficent wasn't powerful enough to destroy the barrier at least.

"Okay, I won't". Maleficent replied with a mischievous grin, getting Adam to gulp while Ben and Belle chuckle a little. "But don't worry, I won't destroy it. I'll just make a small change to it so that I can still use my magic inside". The Mistress of Evil reassured Auradon's former king, something that he was a bit relieved to hear. "I'm starting to think there's nothing that can shackle you". Bell remarked, honestly a bit in awe at how nothing ever seems to shackle the Mistress of Evil.

"What time will you be back tomorrow?" Ben asked Maleficent, catching her attention as she turned to look at him. "Sometime around noon. I have a few things in mind to do when I'm there". The Dark Fey answered Auradon's king, then gazed over to the lake. "That should be more than enough time for me to set the media tomorrow for a small conference". Ben said with a growing smile, much to Maleficent's curiosity on what he's planning.

"What are you up to now?" Maleficent questioned the boyfriend of her daughter, certain he's up to another one of his unthinkable plans. "I wanted to let the people know you're not a danger to anyone here in Auradon". Ben answered, looking down at his plate of food and picked up both his fork and knife. "I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I doubt you telling them about my story and that I'm no threat isn't gonna make them less frightened of me". The Mistress of Evil told Auradon's king, then spread her wings out and gestured to her horns.

"I don't exactly give off the image of someone friendly and easy to approach". She stated, then folded her wings in again. "That might be true right now, but I'm certain that's easy to change. You just have to take off your crown". Belle told Maleficent, grabbing the Dark Fey's attention as she turned to look at her. "You're honestly one of the most beautiful women Auradon's ever seen, maybe even the most beautiful one". The former queen continued, catching Maleficent off guard at her words.

"Surely you're exaggerating". The Mistress of Evil stated, honestly thinking that Belle was more beautiful than her. "I personally think my wife's right. To me, Bell will be the most beautiful person ever. But in the eyes of the public, they'd consider you more beautiful". Adam told Maleficent, wrapping his left arm around Belle's shoulders with the former queen smiling at her husband.

"Come on, Maleficent. Why not take your crown off now, there's no need to keep it on". Ben suggested to Maleficent, curious to see the Mistress of Evil without her crown. The Dark Fey spent a moment staring at Ben's slightly eager face, then turned to look at Adam and Belle, where she saw them staring at her expectedly. Maleficent let out a sigh with both eyes closed, deciding to humor them with their request.

(Play Aurora and the Fawn)

Maleficent brought up both hands, then waved them with yellow magic appearing around them. Time seemed to slow down as Maleficent's crown seemingly burst into nothing, revealing her beautiful long and flowing brown hair, revealing the true beauty of the Mistress of Evil.

Ben, Belle and Adam all were rendered speechless as they stared at the unbelievably beauty that Maleficent has. The Mistress of Evil opened both eyes, then lowered her hands and folded them at the lap. Maleficent opened her mouth to speak, but stopped because of a familiar voice crying out. "I'm sorry that I'm late!" Someone cried out from behind, catching Maleficent by surprise and snapping the royal family out of their daze.

They all looked to see a freshly washed Mal, out of her Isle clothes and now wearing a pink dress with high heels, walking towards them. The purple-haired girl stopped in her tracks however, at seeing Maleficent without the crown and her hair free. There was a difference from seeing her mother's full beauty as part of a memory and seeing the real thing.

Maleficent gave a smile at seeing Mal, then brought up her left hand and waved it to Mal for her to join them. "Mal, come join us". The Dark Fey told Auradon's future queen, snapping Mal out of her daze and nod. "Coming mom!" She exclaimed, then ran over and took the seat in between Ben and Maleficent. Diaval flew in out of nowhere and perched on Mal's right shoulder.

Mal looked at the raven on her shoulder, then gave a small laugh. She ran left hand's index and middle fingers over Diaval's left wing, receiving an affectionate "caw" from the raven. Mal turned to look at her mother again, taking a moment to take a good look at Maleficent's beauty, then spoke. "Jay and Carlos already told me you're heading to the Ise today. Are you gonna be okay there?" The purple-haired female asked with a bit of concern, worried at the chance of her mother getting hurt on that isle.

"Don't worry, sweetheart. My only danger on that isle is iron, and I'll know when I'm closed to it". Maleficent answered Mal, reaching out with her right hand and gently stroke Mal's hair, much to the girl's delight as she closed both eyes in a happy manner. Ben, Adam and Belle all smiled at the warm sight of Maleficent and Mal, truly the sight of a mother that loved her daughter.

"Later on tomorrow after I get back, I'll take you to the Moors, Mal". Maleficent told her daughter, much to Mal's excitement at hearing this. "Really?" She asked with a growing smile full of joy, which the Mistress of Evil nodded to her. "Yes. I need to check back on Aurora to tell her what's going on and what happened. I don't want her to get too worried. I'd figured she'd also want to meet you as soon as possible". Maleficent told her, much to Mal's growing excitement at the thought of meeting the girl that's basically her sister.

Before Mal had meet her other worldly mother, she had no interest in meeting Aurora. After seeing Maleficent's full story, Mal wanted to meet that version of "Aurora" since she felt like a sister with how Maleficent raised and cared for her. She still had no interest in this world's version of "Aurora", just the one that her mother raised.

Footsteps caught everyone's attention, before they looked over to see Fairy Godmother walking towards them, wearing her normal uniform with the shards of her wand in both hands. "I'm sorry to interrupt everyone". The headmistress apologized as she walked into the gazebo and stopped behind Maleficent. "Jay told me that Maleficent wanted to see me and to bring all my wand's pieces". She added, then looked down at her broken wand and its pieces.

Maleficent rose up from her seat, then walked around it to in front of Fairy Godmother. "That's right. I figured that I should fix your wand so I'm the one that shattered it in the first place". The Mistress of Evil said to Auradon Prep School's headmistress, much to the surprise of her, Mal, Ben, Adam and Belle at hearing this. "You can really fix it?" Fairy Godmother asked with a voice full of hope, having began to lose hope of every repairing the wand.

"Of course I can. It's rather simple, just watch". Maleficent replied, bringing both hands up and waved her fingers with yellow magic appearing from Maleficent's hands. The yellow magic went and engulfed all the wand shards, lifting them off of Fairy Godmother's hands and a little bit up into the air. It then began to reassemble itself piece by piece, magic repairing it perfectly.

Mal, Ben, Adam, Belle and Fairy Godmother watched in awe, while Maleficent slightly narrowed her eyes as she concentrated. In just a matter of seconds, the wand was repaired completely, even looking like it was never shattered into pieces in the first place.

Fairy Godmother let out a stuttering breath as her wand floated back down into her hands. The yellow magic disappeared with Maleficent lowering her hands, before she let out a small sigh. "There, all fix". The Mistress of Evil stated, staring down at the wand with a bit of curiosity. Fairy Godmother took the wand into her right hand and stared at it with wide eyes of disbelief at seeing how it was perfectly repaired to the point it seemed brand new.

Auradon Prep School's headmistress turned to look at Maleficent, then bowed her head in gratitude. "Thank you. I thought it was destroyed forever". Fairy Godmother thanked the Mistress of Evil, truly grateful since this wand was important to her and it still had important duties to fulfill. "There's no need to thank me. I was the one that broke it in the first place, so it's only fair that I fix it". Maleficent replied to Fairy Godmother, fully aware of how important that wand is, not just for breaking the isle's barrier one day, but to crown the new rulers of Auradon.

"Even so, I still want to say thank you. If you hadn't decided to help us, I don't think we'd have ever repaired it on our own". Fairy Godmother told Maleficent, lifting her head up to smile at the Dark Fey. Maleficent raised an eyebrow at Auradon Prep School's headmistress, but decided to drop the subject and focus on something else. "If it isn't too much to ask, may I have a look at that wand?" The Mistress of Evil asked Fairy Godmother, a request that surprised her a bit.

She looked at the wand in her hand with an uncertain expression for a moment or two, before she eventually gave a nod of the head. Fairy Godmother held the wand out to Maleficent, and the Mistress of Evil took it with her right hand. Maleficent stared down at the wand with calculating eye, feeling the magic inside of it. To her disappointment yet expectations, this wand's wand magic power was nothing short, but a fraction of hers.

'This world's magic must have weakened very much since it became forbidden. I know that I have no right to say it since I'm not really an inhibitor of this world, but that's a severe mistake'. The Mistress of Evil thought to herself, turning her gaze over to Fairy Godmother. "Anyone can use this wand and it's power, right? They just need to hold it". She questioned Auradon Prep School's headmistress with a curious voice, which Fairy Godmother nodded her.

"Yes, but without a strong heart it won't obey. Only those strong of heart can safely use my wand". The adult woman answered, which Maleficent raised an eyebrow at what she said. 'Huh. Catchy line'. Maleficent thought to herself, turning her gaze back to the wand. "Has someone rather... not strong of heart tried to use this?" The Mistress of Evil questioned Fairy Godmother once more, one that made her flinch.

Mal, Ben, Adam and Belle all flinched upon remembering how Jane tried to use the wand at Ben's coronation, and it went out of control and made a dent in the barrier surrounding the isle. Diaval cawed in concern for his young mistress, which Mal gave him a reassuring smile and stroke his feathers once more.

Maleficent let out a sigh at Fairy Godmother's reaction at her question, mentally scolding herself since she knew that Jane was the only case that ever happened to. "I apologize for my lack of consideration for your feelings. I didn't mean to upset you by reminding you what happened". The Mistress of Evil apologized, holding the wand out for Fairy Godmother to take.

The female adult gave Maleficent a reassuring smile, before gently taking her wand back. "It's okay, there's nothing wrong with asking questions". The headmistress of Auradon Prep School reassured Maleficent, gazing down at the wand as she spoke. "I should take this back to the museum now. I've got a lot of work to do today after that, starting with getting the students back into class". Fairy Godmother said to herself, then looked up at her new friend.

"I hope you a pleasant day today, Maleficent. And be careful on the isle, the villains have a lot of tricks up their sleeves". She warned the Mistress of Evil, but Maleficent just gave her usual confident grin. "They're welcome to try, and see what happens". The Dark Fey said with confidence, getting a small laugh out of Fairy Godmother as she turned and walked away.

With their guest gone; Maleficent turned back to look at Mal, Ben, Adam, Belle and Diaval to see them all looking up at her with warm smiles. "Sorry that our breakfast was interrupted, I just had to fix a small mistake I made". The Mistress of Evil apologized, walking back to the empty chair and retook her seat. "There's no need to apologize. Fixing Fairy Godmother's wand is in no way a waste of time". Adam told the Mistress of Evil, waving both hands slightly.

"Now that all that's been taken care of; let's enjoy our breakfast before it gets too cold". Bell told everyone with a bright smile, then looked over to Maleficent's fork and knife placed on both sides of the dish. "And don't worry, we made sure that nothing is iron". The former queen added, much to Maleficent's appreciation at hearing this. "Thank you for your consideration". The Mistress of Evil thanked Bell, giving her a quick smile.

With their talks on hold for now; Maleficent, Mal, Ben, Adam and Bell also began to enjoy their breakfast with Mal giving Diaval some portions of it every minute.

(1 hour later/ Music end)

In the rather empty park of Auradon Prep School; Maleficent and Mal stood across one another, the Dark Fay holding her staff with the right hand and Diaval perched on it like usual and crown back on. After they finished having breakfast with Ben and his parents, Mal took her mother to get freshen up for the day. Maleficent was insistent that she could wash herself with either her magic or a lake of pure water, but Mal was stubborn to show her mom the wonders of this world's modern day changes to the old ways.

Mal took Maleficent and Diaval to a bathroom, where she discovered that despite being different in so many way, both worlds' "Maleficent" was terrible with technology. She couldn't even turn the shower on without some help, much to Mal's amusement. She helped her mother, even taking another shower with her. Once down, Mal washed Diaval while Maleficent dried herself up and got back into her outfit.

Now here; the pair of mother and daughter were exchanging words before the Mistress of Evil takes off to visit the isle of the lost. "Mom, remember to always keep an eye over your shoulder. Don't accept any offers anyone gives you, keep away from Uma's pirate crew and don't go looking for trouble". Mal told her mother, holding up both hands with a worried face since Maleficent's going on her own with only Diaval and no one else that's an expert on living on the isle of the lost.

Maleficent gave a small chuckle at her daughter's concerns, finding it a bit amusing that she's worried about him and not about the isle's residents. "Don't worry Mal, I'll be just fine. I learned much about that island when I looked through your memories, so I know what to expect. Besides, if anyone does try anything with me, they're gonna regret it". The Mistress of Evil told Mal, placing her left hand on Mal's head and gave a gentle rub.

Mal let out a breath of happiness at feeling Maleficent's warm touch, eyes becoming half lidded. But the girl's feeling of happiness quickly vanished upon thinking of a possible reason why her mother's going to the Isle of the Lost. She looked into Maleficent's eyes with a small frown, then spoke. "A-Are you going to look for my dad there?" The purple-haired asked, uncertain on what to feel at the thought of this "Maleficent" meeting her father.

Maleficent raised an eyebrow at the tone Mal used when she asked that question, but decided not to say anything about it. "Yes, I will. I need to know for certain if he really abandoned you or not. And if he did, I'm gonna give him a piece of my mind". The Mistress of Evil said with a rather evil grin, getting a small laugh from Mal. "Alright, just don't do anything to attract unwanted attention. And if you have trouble looking for him, find Celia Facilier and she'll lead you to him". The purple-haired girl told her mother, much to her curiosity on who this "Celia Facilier" is.

Mal looked at Diaval and gave him a kind smile. "Please make sure someone doesn't tick my mom off, or her blowing something up". The purple-haired girl pleaded to Diaval, certain that someone's gonna tick Maleficent off in someway. Maleficent chuckled, while the raven gave a "caw" and took flight. "I'll be back soon by tomorrow, sweetheart. Stay out of trouble and don't overexert yourself". The Mistress of Evil told her daughter, stretching both wings out to get herself ready.

Mal nodded, then grew an uncertain face. "C...Can I hug you, mom?" She asked with a hopeful voice, to Maleficent's surprise that she was asking that when it wasn't necessary. "Of course you can. There's no need to ask". Maleficent answered her daughter, much to Mal's joy as she wasted no time and threw her arms around the Mistress of Evil in a deep hug. Maleficent returned the hug instantly, even wrapping her wings around Mal.

After a moment or two of hugging, Maleficent spread her wings with the two females breaking their hug. Mal took a step or two back, then gave a wave of her left hand. "I'll see you later, mom". The future queen of Auradon bid farewell to her mother, getting a small chuckle from Maleficent. Wordlessly, the Mistress of Evil spread both wings out and took flight, a small gust of wind released from Maleficent ascending.

Mal quickly shielded both eyes with her left arm. Once the strong gust of wind died down, Mal lowered her arm and looked up towards the sky, where she saw Maleficent flying higher into the sky with Diaval flying beside her. The two then turn and went off in a random direction, most likely in the one that'll lead to the Isle of the Lost.

Mal watched them fly away, feeling a little bit envious. She could fly herself, but only when she transformed into a dragon, but even then it wouldn't be the same. Her other worldly mother could fly whenever she wanted and she didn't have to transform. She had wings that were large and beautiful, wings that Mal wished she had herself.

Mal looked over her right shoulder, practically picturing having wings exactly like her mother's. Sadly, she'd never get to have wings like Maleficent's ones and all she'll have is that dragon form of hers. Mal faced forward, then let out a sigh with both eyes closed in a defeated manner. She turned around and walked to the school, heading to check on her friends.

(With Maleficent and Diaval)

Maleficent and Diaval flew through the sky above Auradon forest, until they eventually started flying over the forest. The Isle of the Lost came into view almost immediately, a golden barrier surrounding it on all sides. Thee two flew up higher in the sky, then stopped once they were directly above the isle.

Maleficent and Diaval flapped their wings to stay airborne, both of them gazing down at the isle past the barrier. Despite being so high, the two were able to see the people down there. They were all wearing torn up clothes, the buildings were in bad shape and even children were running around without adult supervision.

Maleficent let out a low sigh of disappointment at seeing the rather pore state of everything on the isle. "It's just like what I saw in Mal's memories. This place is nowhere for a child to be raised. I understand that the villains deserved to be punished, but their children didn't deserve to suffer with them". The Mistress of Evil said to herself, then gave a small gasp at seeing a random male teenager snatch a small doll from a little girl that looked to be 10-years-old.

Diaval gave an enraged "caw" at seeing a child's toy get stolen like that, while Maleficent narrowed her eyes dangerously. "One thing is certain; the Isle of the Lost needs someone to set this place straight. And I'm more than happy to do it". The Mistress of Evil said with a low, but sharp voice. She held both arms out to the sides, right before green magic poured out from her right hand's index and middle fingers and the left hand.

The green magic spread out towards the yellow barrier and eventually made contact with it. After a moment or two, the barrier surrounding the isle began to slowly change colours from yellow to a green that perfectly matched Maleficent's magic. This didn't go unnoticed by the isle's residents as they all gazed up at the barrier above them.

Seeing that the barrier surrounding the isle now matched her magic, Maleficent ceased pouring out green magic and lowered both hands. "There. Now the barrier won't affect my magic whenever I'm inside of it. Come Diaval!" She exclaimed, before she took off in a dive towards the isle. The raven gave a cry, before flying down after his mistress.

The two passed through the now green barrier with no trouble whatsoever, closing in on the ground. At the last few seconds, Maleficent and Diaval pulled up with the Mistress of Evil safely landing on her feet, releasing a small gust of wind from flapping her wings. All of the isle residents immediately took notice of the new arrival, before they all started screaming in fear since they could tell who she was.

"It's Maleficent! She's return!" A random person screamed out in fear, before everyone began running away to hide from the "returned" Mistress of Evil. Maleficent gave an amused chuckle at seeing them all acting like scared little children just at the mere sight of her. Diaval, on the other hand, let out a disappointed cry as it perched himself on Maleficent's staff once more.

"Even as villains, humans are hilarious". The Dark Fay said with an amused voice, before it quickly fell at seeing a twelve-year-old boy get knocked over by two terrified teenagers. The boy had a thin figure. His skin is pale, but his cheeks were rosy. His hair is blond and long. He is wearing a big pair of square glasses over a pair of blue eyes. He has on a red beanie, wearing tattered white-light blue striped shirt and grey denim trousers. He's also wearing a dark red fingerless glove on his left hand.

Something even fell from the boy's hand and rolled on the ground, stopping a few feet in front of Maleficent. The Dark Fay gazed down and saw that it was an apple, but a very expired one. It had an unhealthy brown rash on it, the skin looked old and even if she couldn't see it, the inside was.

The boy gasped at losing his apple and that it was now just a few feet away from Maleficent. "My apple!" He cried out in sadness, yet didn't make any move to retrieve it and instead stayed where he was. Maleficent stared at the expired apple for a moment, before she turned to look at the boy with a look of growing dread. 'Was he...going to eat that expired fruit?' The Mistress of Evil questioned inside her mind, before directing both eyes back to the apple.

Maleficent brought up her left hand, slightly reaching out to the apple with it. Yellow magic appeared around Maleficent's hand, right before the expired apple floated up from the ground and over to the Dark Fey's waiting hand. She gently took hold of it, then frowned at the disgusting feeling at holding it. 'This apple's rotten away completely, and children are still eating it?! This is unacceptable!' Maleficent shouted out in her mind, enraged that children were forced to eat something like this.

She let out a sigh to calm herself, then closed both eyes to concentrate. Yellow magic appeared Maleficent's hand and entered the apple, much to the isle boy's confusion and awe at seeing magic. Then, it seemed like time was flowing backwards for the apple as it changed from a rotting one, into a perfectly healthy one with a beautiful red colour.

The isle boy gasped in awe at seeing the former rotten apple, now somehow a fresh one. Maleficent opened both eyes to look at the fruit in her hand, then turned to look at the nameless boy. "Child, come here". Maleficent spoke, snapping the boy out of his daze and grow an expression of fear at becoming the center of her attention. He whimpered, holding both arms up in a frightened manner.

Maleficent let out a sigh at seeing the boy so frightened of her, but couldn't blame him. Her counterpart ruled this island with fear, no kindness even to the children and without care for its inhabitants. "Child, I won't hurt you. Please to just come over here". She pleaded to the boy, snapping him out of his fear from using the world "please".

The 12-year-old boy lowered his hands and stared at Maleficent, seeing the kindness in the Dark Fey's eyes. Suddenly feeling less afraid of her, the boy slowly climbed up to his feet and walked over to Maleficent. He stopped right in front of her and Maleficent knelt down to look the boy in his eyes. "What's your name, little one?" The Mistress of Evil asked with a gentle voice, being careful to not make any sudden moves that could frighten this boy before her.

The boy took a small gulp, then spoke. "M-My name is...Squirmy Smee. Son of Mr. Smee". He introduced himself, giving out his name and which villain he's the son of. Maleficent raised an eyebrow since she had no idea who this "Mr. Smee" is, but it didn't really matter for the moment. All that she cared right now was giving this child proper care instead of the terrible treatment this island gives its inhibitors.

She brought the apple up and held it out to Squirmy, who looked at it with wide eyes. "Take it, little one. It's alright". Maleficent told Squirmy with a gentle smile, making the isle child blush at her beauty. Slowly, the child took the apple from Maleficent's right hand with both of his. The Mistress of Evil then gently pat Squirmy's head in a gentle manner, getting him to blink in surprise.

"I wish I could do more for you and the other children of the Isle of the Lost". Maleficent said in sadness that innocent children had to suffer because of their parents. She then gave Squirmy a reassuring smile, tilting her head slightly. "But don't lose hope. One day you'll be free to leave this island and see Auradon with your own eyes. Just be patient until then". The Mistress of Evil told Mr. Smee's son, rubbing his head with care and affection.

Squirmy's blush grew brighter at Maleficent's words and the care leaking out of her voice. Wordless, the young boy nodded to Maleficent, something that brightened Maleficent's smile. She stood up on her feet, then waved her left hand gently. "Go along now. Go go go". She told the young boy, nothing left to say or give to this young boy. At least not yet.

Squirmy nodded to Maleficent, before he turned around and took off. The Mistress of Evil and Diaval watched him go, until he turned a corner and disappeared from sight, leaving them alone. With Squirmy gone, Maleficent turned to look at the raven perched on the staff and then snapped her left hand's fingers. The raven quickly took flight, right before black smoke appeared over him and he transformed into human form.

Diaval landed on his feet, then turned to look at Maleficent with eyes full of pity. "This place isn't right for children to be raised in. Stealing, starving and even eating rotten food like that. Why didn't the Auradon royal family do anything about this?" Diaval questioned his mistress, a hint of anger leaking out of Diaval's voice as he spoke. "Even if they did do something, the parents would have only cared about themselves and leave nothing for their children". The Mistress of Evil answered with a frown, disgusted that there were parents that would put themselves over their kids.

Maleficent turned her gaze over to the largest tower in the isle, the "home" of Mal, Evie, Carlos, Jay and their parents. But it wasn't really a home for Mal and the others, just a place they lived in whenever their parents were in a good mood. Now though with this world's "Maleficent" trapped as a lizard and the children on Auradon; all that's living there are Jafar, Evil Queen and Cruella de Vil.

Narrowing her eyes in anger, Maleficent turned to look at Diaval with a serious face. "Keep an eye on the inside of that tower. Jay's father, Evie's mother and Carlos's mother live there, and I want to know what they're doing. Later on, report back to me. I'm gonna give them a piece of my mind later". The Mistress of Evil told her trusted friend, slightly gripping her staff as she spoke.

Diaval nodded to his mistress, a serious frown married to the human form raven's face. He had taken a great fondness for his young mistress's friends since they were all great people. Their parents, however, he disliked greatly because of what he learned from Maleficent on how they raised those three kids. So, whatever Maleficent was planning with those three, he'd help in anyway he could.

"Understood, Mistress". The human form raven responded to Maleficent, something that pleased her. Maleficent snapped her left hand's fingers again, before black smoke reappeared around Diaval and covered him from view. It quickly cleared to reveal Diaval back as a raven with him giving a cry, before taking off. The Mistress of Evil watched her old friend fly off, before letting out a small sigh with both eyes closed.

Maleficent reopened her eyes, before she began walking with no destination in mind. She tapped her staff against the ground as she walked, paying no heed to the cowering people that were hiding from her. She did, however, pay heed to the children that were hiding terribly outside instead of inside, mostly likely because the older boys and girls were looking out for themselves.

'These children... I wish I could do something for them'. The Mistress of Evil thought to herself, starting to think that perhaps she should accept Ben's request. It would take her away from the Moors and Aurora, but it would allow her to properly look after the people trapped on this isle and help so many unfortunate children that were being punished just because of their parents. That young boy Squirmy was a perfect example; he's just an innocent boy that didn't deserve to be trapped here.

Maleficent was too lost in her thoughts that she didn't pay any attention to her thoughts. She turned a corner, but walked straight into someone, but fortunately didn't bump into that person. Maleficent grunted in surprise since she felt like she walked into a wall. "Who could possible...?" The fairy began as she looked up to see who she bumped into, before she stopped with her breath taken away.

She had run right into one of the few people she had come here to meet, the father of her daughter Mal; Hades. He looked exactly as Maleficent had seen him in Mal's memories. He had a blue mohawk hair-style, blue eyes and white skin. For clothes, he's wearing a black outfit and black shoes. And the presence he's giving off, it's different compared to anything Maleficent's ever felt before. Mal's presence was a bit like Hades' one, but it was nothing in comparison.

Hades appeared to be just as stunned as Maleficent at not only seeing her, but the changes as well. He had no knowledge that this woman in front of him wasn't his ex-wife, but a different version of "Maleficent", a better one. "Maleficent? Is that you?" The God of the Underworld asked in surprise to see Maleficent here.

The Mistress of Evil narrowed her eyes a bit at the god's question. "The answer to that is yes and no". Maleficent answered, taking a step or two back from Hades, who was confused at the answer she gave him. "Huh?" He said in confusion. before finally taking notice of Maleficent's wings. "Whoa! Where'd you get those big wings?! They don't even look like dragon wings!" The God of death exclaimed, taking a step back to take a good look at Maleficent's wings with calculating eyes.

"It's a long story, but I'll just come straight to the point. I'm not the "Maleficent" of this world, but of another world". The Dark Fey told Hades, something that he didn't believe as he gave her a flat look. "Oh... Real funny". He said with a sarcastic voice, something that made Maleficent narrow her eyes in annoyance, before letting out a sigh since she couldn't blame him for that.

"Believe what I say or not, it doesn't make any difference to me. The only thing I care about is you answering my questions concerning Mal". The Dark Fey told Hades, something that seemed to intrigue him as he raised an eyebrow at her. "Huh? Why would you want to ask me anything about her? And why would you care, anyway?" The God of Death questioned Maleficent, no idea what kind of mistake he just made by saying that.

Maleficent a great burst of rage hit her at what Hades said about her not caring about Mal. The Dark Fey's eyes gleamed green, before green magic burst out like flames around her, much to the surprise of Hades. Before he could even speak, Maleficent threw her left hand forward and blasted him with green magic, blowing him off his feet and sent crashing into a random building.

Hades grunted in pain and surprise, unable to move his body for some reason. He opened both eyes and looked to see green magic surrounding his body, immobilizing him and keeping him stuck. "Don't you DARE assume I'm anything like that horrible woman! I care about Mal because she's my daughter, even if I didn't give birth to her!" Maleficent exclaimed strongly, walking right up to the immobilized god and stopped right in front of him.

Hades turned to look at her, right as Maleficent leaned up to his face, staring right into the god's blue eyes with her green magic glowing ones. "Never assume I don't care about Mal, or it'll be the last mistake you ever made!" She growled up, stabbing her left wing's talon into the building right beside Hades' head.

Hades didn't respond, instead stared at the Mistress of Evil with wide eyes, but they weren't filled with fear. Instead, the eyes of Hades were filled with realization and wonder, something that slightly confused Maleficent. "...I'm starting to believe what you said about being from another world". Hades told the Dark Fey, to her slight curiosity on how that is. "And what made you start to believe my words?" She questioned in a low voice, still filled with anger from what he said earlier.

"Because... You actually do care about Mali". Hades answered, to Maleficent's great surprise at hearing this. She wordlessly stared at him for a moment, before retracting her wing and took 3 steps back. Even the magic immobilizing Hades disappeared, causing him to fall and land on his feet with a small grunt, but he paid it no mind. He just kept staring at her, even taking a step forward.

"I know my ex-wife well and know that she never really cared about Mali. That outburst you just gave was proof that you're not her because she would never lose her top the way you just did". The god continued, taking another step forward. Maleficent stared at him with wide eyes, the green flaming magic around her fading away quickly. After a few moments of staring, she closed both eyes and let out a sigh.

"Tel me... Do you care about Mal?" The Mistress of Evil questioned Hades, wasting no time and asking the important question she had for him. Narrowing his eyes a bit, Hades regarded Maleficent with silence for a few seconds until he eventually answered. "...More than you realize". The god answered, an answer that filled Maleficent with a sense of relief. She still had a few questions for him though.

"Then why weren't you there for her when she was growing up? Why did you abandon her?" She questioned Hades, folding her wings in as she spoke. "No, I didn't abandon her. I abandoned her mo... your counterpart". The god corrected, then gave a small wince upon thinking of that evil dragon. "I'm sure you already know, but she isn't exactly the most reasonable person". Hades added, getting a scoff from Maleficent since she agreed with him on that.

"I agree with that, but the word that would suit her perfectly is "detestable", not unreasonable". The Mistress of Evil told Hades, words that got a chuckle out of him since he agreed with her on that wholeheartedly. "Ha! Couldn't think of a better word for her!" Hades laughed out, turning around and took a few steps away. "She didn't answer my other question. Why weren't you there for Mal when she was growing up?" Maleficent questioned him once more, instantly erasing all the humor he was feeling.

He placed both hands on his waist, then let out a deep sigh. "I'll answer all your questions, but not here". Hades replied, then turned around to fully face Maleficent with a small frown. "Follow me to my lair. We won't have to worry about anyone eavesdropping on our conversation there". The god added, pointing over his shoulder with the left hand's thumb.

Maleficent narrowed her eyes at Hades, before she nodded to him. "Very well then. Lead on, God of the Underworld". The Mistress of Evil told him, waving her left hand for him to go. Chuckling a little bit, Hades turned around and began walking away, waving his right hand up. "Follow me, oh great Mistress of Evil". The blue-haired god said in a teasing voice, something that made her chuckle a little herself.

She followed the father of her daughter through the isle's streets, being careful not to accidentally touch anything that could be iron. Eventually, Hades led Maleficent to his lair that was an abandoned mining cave. The two reached the main room of the lair. The rocky walls were slick with minerals and jewels and support timbers stood throughout. An azure scarf covered a wobbly lampshade, bathing the entire room in a blue haze.

Hades took a seat on the shoddy couch, while Maleficent sat on the wooden staircase that led out of the cave. She spared a glance at the box beside Hades's chair, where a blue stone was on top of what appeared to be a rune pedestal. Hades noticed Maleficent's gaze on the blue stone, so he told her what it was. "This is my Ember, it lets me use my powers". Hades told the other world version of his ex-wife, gesturing to his Ember with the right hand.

Maleficent turned her gaze over to him, then gave a small frown. "Does it really? Or does it really just give you an increase of power?" She questioned him, much to Hades surprise at the rather random question. But before he could question her, the Mistress of Evil spoke up again. "I can sense a power inside that stone. A power that only you and those of your blood can use. Meaning that Mal can use it since she's your daughter as well". Maleficent explained, taping her scepter against the ground and then climbed up to her feet.

Hades stared at the Dark Fey for a moment or two, before he started laughing in a jolly manner. "Hahahahaha! You're a whole lot more impressive than your counterpart! She wasn't as sharp or dangerous as you!" The blue-haired god laughed out, getting a smile from the Dark Fey from his "compliment" to her. "Flattering, really". Maleficent stated, then dropped her smile and replaced it with a frown.

"Now, you still have a few questions of mine to answer". She told her daughter's father, getting Hades to cease laughing and stare at her with a small frown. "Right, I know. So, you wanted to know why I wasn't there for Mal when she was growing up, right?" He questioned the Mistress of Evil, who walked up to the wall and placed her scepter against it. Maleficent turned around to look at the god, then nodded to him.

Hades let out another sigh, leaning his head back a bit. "First, let me ask you this. How dangerous do you think the isle is, exactly?" He questioned the Mistress of Evil, something that slightly took her aback. Still, she answered the god's question. "Very dangerous. I saw Mal's memories of this place and know how difficult it is to live here". Maleficent answered Hades, going back to the wooden staircase and sat down once more.

"Then you should know that only the strong survive. I stayed away from Mal so that she could be strong and survive". He told the Mistress of Evil, then gave a mischievous grin. "Or as I like to call it, daddy issues". Hades added, then started chuckling only for it to quickly fall at seeing Maleficent's unamused face. Clearing out his throat to get rid of the "awkward" atmosphere, Hades continued.

"Look, I did because my attention would have made her softer. And in the end, she did become strong. She survived this place and went to Auradon, and is even on her way to becoming queen of the place". Hades said with a growing bright grin, throwing his hands up slightly. "At what coast?" Maleficent suddenly questioned, taking Hades by surprise as he looked at her with wide eyes.

"Mal believes you abandoned her as a baby and makes no mention of you whatsoever. You're a villain and a god, but even they should care about their own family. She still could have become strong with your attention, maybe even stronger than she is now. But you picked the coward's way". The Dark Fey told Hades, words that brought a frown to his face.

"Like you're one to talk. You're a villain too, aren't ya?" He shot back, but Maleficent just shook her head at him. "I used to be, one that experienced pain, but not anymore". The Mistress of Evil told Hades, spreading both wings out as she stood up on her feet. "Huh?" The God of the underworld tilted his head in confusion, wondering what she meant by that.

Maleficent, without a word, walked up to the seated God of death and stopped right in front of him. She gazed down at him, while he looked up at her. The Mistress of Evil placed her hands on Hades' cheeks, much to his surprise as he widens both eyes at her. Before the god could speak up, yellow magic appeared around the Dark Fay's hands, before both Maleficent and Hades gasped as their eyes gleamed bright yellow.

Unlike when she did this with Mal, Maleficent was showing Hades her memories this time. She showed him her life and tale, her suffering by Stefan's betrayal and the lost of her wings. How she was consumed by hatred, then how her life changed thanks to Aurora. How at peace she felt with the girl she secretly raised and how her love for Aurora saved both the Sleeping Beauty and herself.

For a few moments, the two remained perfectly still and were silent as Maleficent continued showing Hades her memories. It eventually stopped and the yellow magic died down, followed by the eyes of Maleficent and Hades cease glowing. The Mistress of Evil took her hands off Hades' face and took a step back, staring down at him with slightly narrowed eyes.

The god, however, was staring at her with wide eyes. Those memories he just saw showed him that the woman before him wasn't just a villain, but a hero as well, something completely unheard of. "Wow... Just, wow... You're not like anything I've ever seen before". Hades told Maleficent, growing an amazed smile as he spoke. "So I've been told before". The Dark Fey stated, giving a small flap of her wings as she spoke.

Hades let out a laugh, getting up on his feet and stepped right in front of Maleficent with both of them staring right into each other's eyes. "Honestly, I wouldn't have mind if you were this world's "Maleficent" and that I married you". The blue-haired god said with a small grin, much to Maleficent's surprise as she widen both eyes and, hard to believe it may be, blush a little bit.

"That's...a bold thing to say. Especially after you saw what happened to me when I tried love to love a man". The Mistress of Evil said, a hint of embarrassment in her voice since she hasn't done anything romantic related for over a decade and a half now. "You're not the only one that's had a bad experience with romance. I've been with 3 women, maybe more in my life. And it always ended badly". Hades shot back, placing both hands on his hips as he spoke.

"At least it didn't end with any of them trying to kill you or taking away something important". Maleficent stated, then looked at her right wing over the right shoulder. Hades' face fell at Maleficent's words, fully aware of what she meant by that. "I get it, my experiences weren't as bad as yours. I honestly can't imagine what it's like living with a lost limb of two, but I do know what's it like to lose something. I used to be a god with a whole world, and now I'm left with nothing". He told the Mistress of Evil, growing a frown as he spoke.

"Is that so? And you haven't gained anything in your time here on this forsaken island?" Maleficent questioned her counterpart's ex-husband, an unexpected question that took him by surprise. Hades grew an uncertain expression, unsure of how to answer. He managed to eventually found his voice to talk, though. "I guess...I got a few things. Like Mali". The blue-haired god answered, growing a small smile at the thought of his daughter.

Hades' smile reminded Maleficent of how she smiles at Aurora or at the thought of her. Growing more fascinated by this god before her, the Mistress of Evil opened her mouth and spoke. "What was your tale?" She questioned Hades, getting a tilt of the head in confusion from him on why she asked that. "Mal's boyfriend Ben, the king of Auradon asked for my help in helping all the villains trapped on this island. He believes that I can help them all change". The Mistress of Evil explained to him, getting a laugh out of Hades at the rather ridicules request.

"Hahaha! Good luck with that! The villains have been trapped here for over 20 years now, and most of them haven't changed a bit! How can they be helped ad change anyway?" The blue-haired god said with an amused grin. Maleficent made no comeback at Hades's words, just lowered her head a little. "Perhaps you're right, and the villains can't change". She said with a low voice, something that wiped the grin off of Hades' face and stare at her in surprise.

"I haven't even made my decision to help or not yet. To be honest, I don't even want to help my counterpart change, nor did I want to help Stefan either. To be honest, I just don't think I'm really what Ben or Mal thinks I am". Maleficent said with a tone full of shame, feeling guilty that she couldn't really help the people trapped on this island. The hopes of Ben and Mal placed on her, it was a bit overwhelming and she didn't think she's able to live up to it.

Hades stared at Maleficent without a word for a few seconds, until he eventually let out a sigh and turn around. He walked up to his chair, turned around and sat back down on it. "...I'll tell you my tale". He told the Mistress of Evil, snapping Maleficent out of her daze and look at him with wide eyes of surprise. "What?" She questioned the god, getting another sigh from him.

"I'll let you decide if there's hope for us or not. And for you to make a decision, you need to hear our tales". The blue-haired god told her, then gestured to the wooden staircase with his left hand. "Make yourself comfortable. It's gonna be a long story". Hades advised the Dark Fey, placing both arms on the armrests. Maleficent stared at Hades without a word for a moment or two, before her gaze turned soft and she nodded to him.

She turned around and walked back to the staircase, retaking her seat from earlier. But then unexpectedly to Hades, Maleficent brought up both hands and waved them with yellow magic appearing around them. Time seemed to slow down as Maleficent's crown seemingly burst into nothing, revealing her beautiful long and flowing brown hair, revealing the true beauty of the Mistress of Evil once more.

Hades was rendered speechless, making a gasp with no sound and stared at Maleficent with wide eyes. He's seen many beautiful women in his existence, having lived a very long time, but this woman before him was the most beautiful one he's ever laid eyes on. The "Maleficent" of this world was nothing compared to this one in terms of beauty, heart, magic and personality.

Maleficent took notice of Hades' staring and raised an eyebrow at him. "Is there something on my face?" She asked, snapping the blue-haired god out of his trace and grow an embarrassed face. "S-Sorry about that. Sorry if I'm being a bit bold, but your beauty just took me back". Hades told Maleficent with a nervous voice, looking away to the side. The Mistress of Evil blinked in surprise at the god's words, though she felt flattered by his words since it's been a long time since a man called her beautiful instead of just screaming in terror.

"...Thank you". The Mistress of Evil thanked Hades for his compliment, slightly turning her face to the side. Both Dark Fay and god were quiet by embarrassment for a few moments, before they managed to get their act together and face one another. "Okay, here's how my story started. It all began when my sister, Hera, gave birth to hers and Zeus's son; Hercules-" Hades began, but stopped when Maleficent spoke up.

"Beg your pardon? Isn't Hercules the son of Zeus and some mortal woman?" She questioned Hades, much to his confusion at what she just said. "Huh? What are you talking about? Hercules is the son of Zeus and Hera". The blue-haired god corrected Maleficent, which she gave a mentally exhausted sigh. "Another difference between our worlds. Sorry for interrupting, continue". The Dark Fey told Hades, waving her right hand slightly for him to continue his tale.

And so, Hades told his tale, the tale of "Hercules" and how he tried to overthrow his brother; Zeus. Maleficent listened carefully and didn't interrupt him, taking in how he tried to kill his own family so that he didn't have to rule the underworld anymore. It sounded ridicules to Maleficent since to her, it was an important task Zeus entrusted to Hades to judge the souls of those who passed.

Hades explained how he kidnapped and tried to erase Hercules's godhood so that he wouldn't interfere in his plans, but that ended in slight failure. Hercules kept a single bit of his godhood, unparallel strength and grew up in the care of a human couple. Once at a young age, began training to become a hero to retain his godhood. And eventually meet a woman named Meg that soled her soul to Hades.

Long story short; Megara fell in love with Hercules and sided with him, giving sacrificing herself to save him. Hercules ruined Hades' plan and sent him running back to the underworld, before chasing after him himself to get Megara back. Hades tried to trick him to kill Hercules, but that was ruined as well because Hercules got his godhood back because of his act as a hero. Even got back punched to the face.

Maleficent learned much from Hades' story, and it took only two hours since there was no interruption. "...And Hercules decided not to join his parents in Olympus and be with Meg, happily ever after. The end". The blue-haired god declared, before giving a small applause for a minute. Once turn, Hades rested both hands on the armrests again and patiently waited for Maleficent to speak.

The Mistress of Evil was silent, merely staring at Hades with calculating eyes. The god himself, was feeling a bit nervous at her stare because he couldn't get a good read on what she feels about him. Eventually, the Mistress of Evil spoke. "Did you really hate your brother and the task he gave you that much? He gave you the task of judging the souls of those that have passed on. An important task that he gave you because he trusted you". Maleficent said to the blue-haired god, flapping her wings once.

Hades let out a defeated sigh, lowering his head slightly. "At the time; I hated being in the underworld and wanted payback on Zeus for putting me down there. Looking back on it now; it wasn't as bad as being stuck here. And just maybe... I'm guilty for trying to kill my family". The blue-haired god said with a low voice, a bit of self-loathing leaking out of his voice.

Maleficent gave no response just yet, only continued staring at Hades with calculating eyes. "...If you do manage to leave the isle someday, what will you do? Will you make up for all those years to Mal for not being there for her, or try to take over Olympus again?" She questioned Hades once more, bringing up her left hand and held it out to her scepter. The scepter magically shot from leaning against the wall into Maleficent's waiting hand, which she caught perfectly.

Hades raised an eyebrow at seeing Maleficent's magic again, but decided not to comment on it. "Well, I'll do my best to make it up to Mali, but nothing will make up for the years that I weren't there for her. And as for my brother, I'll go to apologize to him and if he wants me to, I'll go back to judging the souls of those that have passed. And if not, I'll just continue to live here on the isle". Hades explained his plan to the Dark Fey, before looking down at his Ember beside him.

He reached down and took hold of it with his right hand. Hades stared down at his Ember for a moment, before looking over to Maleficent. "And when I have the chance, I'll give my Ember to Mali". The blue-haired god added, tossing the Ember up and caught it. Maleficent raised an eyebrow at Hades' words, but could see in his eyes that he meant what he said. She couldn't detect any lies in his voices, and the eyes of Hades shows his honesty.

The Mistress of Evil's eyes turned soft, before she lowered her head. "Haaa... Meeting you has made me believe that perhaps it is possible to help all the villains on this isle, just a little bit. I can see in your eyes that you're not a terrible person that can change for the better". She told Hades, then slightly narrowed her eyes at him. "There's just one question left I have to ask. Do you regret what you tried to do, as a villain?" Maleficent questioned the god once more, one final one that'll finally settle what she'll think of him overall.

Hades grew silent at Maleficent's question, actually having to think about an answer to give the woman before him. After nearly half a minute of silence, he spoke. "I'm... a villain. At my core, that'll never change. But I do regret that I tried to kill my family years ago. And I'd do anything for Mali now, even if it meant getting out of Auradon for something and then getting back here". The blue-haired god answered, then stood up on his feet and stared at Maleficent with conviction.

"That is the best answer that I can give". He told the winged fairy, crossing both arms without a shred of fear. Maleficent stared at Hades's face full of conviction for a few moments, before suddenly growing a small, but kind smile at him. "You're clearly a man that has a strange sense of humor, but I don't think that's because I have a strange one myself". The Mistress of Evil said, then gave a small chuckle with Hades joining her quickly since he couldn't argue with her on that.

After a minute of chuckling, both Maleficent and Hades ceased chuckling yet kept the smiles on their faces. "But still; you're not a terrible person. You care about our daughter, even if you had a strange way of treating her, but that's a sign that there's hope for you to change for the better. I'm still not confident that I can help everyone change, but..." Maleficent suddenly stopped and glanced away to the side, suddenly feeling a bit embarrassed at what she's about to say next.

"With the help of villains like you, it's possible. Will you help me in this task?" The Mistress of Evil asked Hades, bringing her right hand up elegantly and held it out for the blue-haired god to take hold of. Hades gave a chuckle with a confident grin, before climbing up on his feet and walked over to her. He stopped in front of the seated woman and gently took hold of her hand with his own right hand.

"If it means being around an enchanting beauty like you, sign me the Hell up". He said with bravado, before leaning down and kissed the back of Maleficent's hand. The Dark Fey let out a low, but sharp gasp at the god's unexpected actions. She quickly got her act back together and gave a small grin at Hades. "You truly are a god to desire me after learning about my past experience with love. You're more than welcome to try, but know that it won't be so easy to charm me as the other woman you've managed to in the past". Maleficent told Hades, slightly raising her hand from his and brought it to her chest.

Hades grinned with utter confidence at the Mistress of Evil without a shred of doubt. "I like a good challenge, but just you watch. I'm gonna charm you so bad that you won't ever want to leave the room". The blue-haired god said, then placed both hands on his hips in a confident way. Maleficent let out a giggle at Hades, truly fascinated and amused by this man. He's unlike Stefan, Philip and even Diaval, but it was welcoming to the Dark Fey. It was nice to have someone with a sense of humor and confidence just like him.

Maleficent opened her mouth to speak again, but then from out of nowhere a cry came. "Huh?" Hades looked over Maleficent to the entrance to his lair where the cry came, just as a black raven flew in out of nowhere. The bird flew around Hades' lair with the god's eyes following it around until it flew down and perched itself on Maleficent's scepter.

The Mistress of Evil grew a pleased smile at seeing her friend again, while Hades raised an eyebrow since he had a good idea on who this bird is. "Is this crow your version of Diablo?" The blue-haired god asked Maleficent with a curious voice, much to the raven's annoyance as it let out an annoyed cry at him. "You can say "yes" and "no". His name is actually Diaval, and he's a raven". The Mistress of Evil corrected Hades, bringing her right hand up and stroke Diaval's feathers.

"Huh... Another difference between our two worlds. It's honestly a bit crazy that there's so much". The blue-haired god said with a grin, giving a shrug of his shoulders. "Oh, you have no idea". Maleficent stated, pulling her right hand away from Diaval with yellow magic appearing around it. Diaval gave another "caw", before flying upwards just as Maleficent waved her right hand with the yellow magic disappearing.

Black smoke appeared and covered Diaval as he transformed back into his human form, much to Hades' amazement as he took a step back. "Whoa, now that's what I call a magic trick!" Hades exclaimed with a wide grin, amazed with how different this Maleficent's magic is compared to her counterpart's. Diaval turned to look at the blue-haired god and raised an eyebrow at the sight of him.

For some unexplainable reason to the human form raven, he greatly disliked this man before him. Diaval didn't know if it was because he thought that he's a crow or mistook his name to be "Diablo", he just didn't like him. He let out a sigh, placing both hands on his hips and turned to look at Maleficent. "Mistress, who is this?" Diaval asked Maleficent with a curious voice, hoping that it wasn't anybody important and that they could just go.

Maleficent spread her wings out a bit as she climbed up to her feet, then turned to look at her trusted old friend. "This is the one of the few I came here to meet; Hades". She revealed to Diaval, much to his shock as he threw both arms out and turned to look at Hades. "T-This man here is the God of death and the Young Mistress's father?!" He exclaimed, turning to look at Maleficent for a moment and then to the rather smug looking Hades.

Diaval's thoughts were out of control at the revelation. This ma-god that he disliked for some reason, may very well be his mistress's last chance at finding her own love and happiness one day? It was hard for him to both accept that and allow it. Diaval wanted his mistress to be happy, so as much as he didn't like this man, he won't interfere if something happened between him and Maleficent.

"Hi there, bird-brain". Hades greeted Diaval with a wave of his right hand, much to his annoyance at what he was called. The human form raven let out a deep breath to let out his annoyance, then held out the right hand for a handshake. "It's an honor to meet you, Hades". Diaval said with forced politeness so that he doesn't anger the god and ruin anything.

Hades grinned at Diaval, before taking his hand with his right hand with the two males sharing a handshake. "Diaval, what have you learned since I last saw you?" Maleficent questioned her old friend, catching the attention of both men as they turned to look at her. The human form raven narrowed his eyes, then spoke. "The Evil Queen, Jafar and Cruella are living in that tower you sent me to check. And I have to say; they earned their place here on this isle". Diaval told Maleficent, getting a laugh out of Hades at what he said.

"Oh, that's an understatement!" The blue-haired man exclaimed, walking past Diaval and up next to Maleficent on her left. The Mistress of Evil turned to look at the god with both of them making eye contact, a sight that Diaval felt a bit weird at seeing. He's never seen his mistress act so casually around a man like this before. It isn't unwelcomed, but a bit strange for Diaval since he hasn't seen her like this before.

There was also the fact that she had her crown off and let her hair free. She never does that when Philip is around, noir when she was showing everyone her tale yesterday. The only reason she let her hair loose earlier was because Ben asked her to and she only did it because he's Mal's boyfriend. So, to see her without her crown around a man she's just met is a sign that she's growing to trust Hades.

Diaval blinked, then shook his head to rid himself of those thoughts and focus on making his report. "It turns out; those three don't seem to be proud of Evie, Jay and Carlos, nor do they care about them. The Evil Queen goes on about how Evie's a disappointment for her and unless she marries a prince, she'll disown her". Diaval reported to Maleficent, growing a disgusted frown as he spoke.

He wasn't the only one that frowned; both Maleficent and Hades did. To the Dark Fey, it was blasphemy to hear a parent talk like that about their child. Evie was a sweet and smart girl that Maleficent's come to know in their short time together, so to hear Evie's mother thought of her as a disappointment really set her off. Hades was the same as her. In his time in the isle, he's grown to care about the kids here and while it is usual for parents to mistreat their kids, it still ticked him off.

Diaval let out a deep breath to calm himself again, then spoke. "For Jafar, he doesn't seem to care about whatever Jay does now. All he seems to care about is getting someone to replace him and steal for him". The human form raven told Maleficent, much to her disappointment at hearing this. "When I saw Mal's memories, I knew that Jafar had Jay steal for him, but this is just ridicules. Did this Jafar only cared about Jay as a henchman to steal for him?" She questioned with a deep frown, wings spreading in a sort of predator way.

Hades answered the Dark Fey's question, even though she wasn't expecting one. "Jafar's always been a thief, even before he was sent here to the Isle of the Lost. He forced Jay to be a thief by throwing him out whenever he didn't come home with something valuable". The blue-haired god told Maleficent, crossing both arms as he spoke. Maleficent's disappointment grew further at learning this. She let out a sigh with both eyes closed, transferring her scepter to her right hand and placed the left one atop it.

"I'm starting to lose hope for these people if they treat their own children like that". The Mistress of Evil said, before opening both eyes and turned to look at Hades. "Isn't there any villains that care about their children, like you?" She asked the god, really hoping that there was at least another villain that cared for their children. Because if not, Ben's request might be impossible for her to accomplish.

Fortunately, Hades gave a nod of his head to Maleficent. "There are a few that care about their kids, but there isn't a large number of them. I'd say the more famed villains that care about their kids are Dr. Facilier, Lady Tremaine and her daughters". The blue-haired god told Maleficent, much to her relief at hearing this. She gave Hades a thankful nod, then turned to look at Diaval once more.

"And what about Carlos's mother?" She asked once more, only to blink in surprise as Diaval let out an irritated sigh. "She's the worst one of them all! Cruella acts like Carlos doesn't even exist, all she cares about is her car and fur coats! And she even made remarks about turning Dude into a fur coat!" The human form raven exclaimed with disgust, throwing both hands up.

Maleficent grew a deep frown at what she heard, grip on the scepter growing tighter than before. "So, she likes fashion and her car, huh? Well, I'm going to enjoy turning that car of hers into scrap metal!" She growled out, both of her eyes growing a deep green magic color. Hades let out a wolf whistle at Maleficent, getting a small glare from Diaval at the rather disrespectful behavior.

He let out another sigh with both eyes closed, then looked at Maleficent once more. "They should still be in the tower. What do we do now, Mistress?" The human form raven asked the Mistress of Evil, wondering what she intended to do now. He secretly hoped, however, that she plans to teach Evil Queen, Jafar and Cruella a lesson that they desperately needed to learn.

It would seem that Diaval's secret plea was answered because Maleficent gave her famed evil grin, something she only gives when she's up to something. "I think it's time for the whole island to know that the "Mistress of Evil" is back". The Dark Fey stated, much to the excitement of Hades as he let out a thrilled laugh. "Hahaha! You may not be a villain anymore, but you still got that "evil" spark in you! Well, if you're gonna do this then count me in!" The blue-haired god exclaimed, which Maleficent gave him a nod since she wasn't opposed to him joining them.

Diaval, on the other hand, wasn't so thrilled this Hades was joining them. Still, he remained silent since his mistress made her decision. "Mistress, what are your plans after you're done with them?" Diaval asked Maleficent with a curious voice, wondering if she intended to teach more villains some much needed manners. "I'll make my decision once I'm done with those three imbeciles". The Mistress of Evil answered, waving her left hand with yellow magic appearing around it.

Maleficent's crown seemingly reformed with her hair drawn in and covered once more. Hades looked disappointed at seeing Maleficent's hair covered again, but got over it quickly. "Shall I lead you, Mistress?" Diaval asked the Dark Fey with a curious voice, which Maleficent shook her head in response. "No need. I know the way". She answered, then began walking up the staircase out of the mine. Hades and Diaval followed after Maleficent as she led them.

They quickly left and headed straight to the tallest tower, the homebase of Maleficent's counterpart. After 10 minutes, they arrived in front of the tower and stopped to stare up at it. "Been a long while since I've been here". Hades remarked, placing both hands on his hips. Maleficent gave no reply and continued on her way, tapping her scepter as she walked.

The blue-haired god watched her go with an eyebrow raised, before he turned to look at Diaval. "Is she not a talker?" Hades asked with a curious voice, which Diaval shook his head. "She is from time to time, but not at important times like this. Get ready, because you're about to see just how different she is compared to the "Maleficent" of this world". The human form raven answered, before he followed after his mistress. Hades grew an eager expression, before he followed the two other worldly visitors.

Maleficent didn't stop when she was just a few feet away from the tower's doors. She just wayed her left hand's index and middle fingers out with yellow magic, before the doors magically opened for her. She walked in without stopping, Diaval right behind her and Hades stopping for a moment to look at the open doors, before going on. Once all three were inside, the doors closed on their own through magic.

Maleficent continued to lead the way, knowing the ways in and out of this tower thanks to Mal's memories. Eventually, they arrived in the main room; where they saw the famed villains that now live in this tower by themselves; Jafar, Evil Queen and Cruella. They all looked exactly the same that Maleficent saw them in Mal's memories on the day she left with Evie, Jay and Carlos. No changes, not even a change of clothes.

The three villains were surprised themselves, at seeing Maleficent, Diaval and Hades, but their focus was on the Mistress of Evil. "Maleficent!? You're back!" The Evil Queen cried out with a massive smile, then frowned a bit at seeing the two males with her and the giant wings she had. "Why's Hades with you and who's the common man? And what's with those wings of yours?" Evie's mother added, utterly confused with Maleficent's company since they were no one important, at least in her eyes.

"But more importantly; did you get anything good from Auradon?" Jafar asked with an eager voice, no real care on their "friend's" return and only cared about anything she brought back. "Yeah! Like, did you bring me any dogs so that I can make a new coat?" Cruella asked with an excited voice, needing some new material for clothes to make. And no care whatsoever that she's using dogs for that.

Maleficent narrowed her eyes at the three villains, letting out a small growl at them because they didn't so much as ask about their own children and didn't look like they were gonna ask. Diaval and Hades were both just as disgusted as the Mistress of Evil, though Diaval wondered if Jay, Carlos and Evie were more like their other parents inside of the ones before them.

"You all disgust me...!" The Dark Fey growled out, much to the surprise of Jafar, Cruella and Evil Queen. Before any of them could speak up, green magic appeared over Maleficent right before she slammed her scepter down on the ground, resulting in green magic erupting from the ground and spread out through the room. All three famed villains gasped, right before they were sent flying from their feet and slammed into the walls.

They all grunted in pain, opening their eyes and glared at Maleficent with confused eyes. "Hey!? What's the big idea, lizard breath?!" Evil Queen snapped at the Mistress of Evil, then looked at herself and saw green magic surrounding and immobilizing her. "And how are you using magic?! The barrier's supposed to keep us from using magic at all!" Jafar exclaimed with an irritated frown, finding it unfair that he couldn't use magic and that "Maleficent" could.

Cruella just screamed wildly and crazily, trying to break free of Maleficent's magic yet couldn't. The Mistress of Evil narrowed her eyes at all three of them, then gazed over to Diaval. "Keep an eye out in case someone tries to break in. I don't want any uninvited guests coming in to interrupt". The Dark Fey told her trusted friend, then pointe her scepter's tip right towards the balcony attached to the building.

Diaval nodded to his mistress, then walked past her, Hades and the trapped villains to the balcony, pushing the window doors open. He walked right to the edge, then looked down, keeping a look out of anybody daring to come in. Maleficent then brought her right hand up and waved it around. The magic surrounding Evil Queen, Jafar and Cruella brought all three of them to in front of Maleficent, lined up with Jafar in the middle.

The three of them gazed down at Maleficent, while she glared up at them. "I'm going to make this simple for you three imbeciles to understand. I'm not the Maleficent you know, I'm a "Maleficent" from another world". The Mistress of Evil told Jafar, Cruella and Evil Queen with an icy cold voice, something that sent shivers down their spine. Jafar was the first to get his grip together, but it wasn't because of bravery, more like it was because he was idiotic.

"Another "Maleficent"? Ha! What do you take me for? A fool?!" The once evil genie questioned Maleficent with an arrogant voice, only for him to grow silent and gulp at Maleficent turning her gaze over to him. "That's what an imbecile is, a fool. And you three are the biggest imbeciles I've ever seen". Maleficent told Jafar, spreading her wings in a predator manner.

Evil Queen glared at the Dark Fey for what she just said. "How dare you! Do you have any idea who you're talking to?!" Evie's mother shouted at Maleficent with an enraged voice, yet Maleficent wasn't intimidated and responded right away. "Yes, I do know! Three terrible parents that didn't care for their own children and only used them for your own benefit!" She snapped back, the green magic changing into a sort of flaming green magic that surrounded her.

Evil Queen immediately fell silent at the intimidating Mistress of Evil, feeling a deep fear for her than the "Maleficent" she knew. Cruella just kept on screaming crazily, something that annoyed Maleficent greatly. Just as she was about to shut her up personally, Hades suddenly walked past the Dark Fey and up to Cruella. He threw his right hand up to Cruella's face and covered her mouth, only now she was letting out muffled cries.

Hades moved his hand away, revealing that he had gagged Cruella with some worn out tissue. Hades grinned, then turned to look at Maleficent and saw her looking at him with an eyebrow raised. "...She had a mouth". He stated, before both him and Maleficent chuckled a bit. Once she was done chuckling, Maleficent turned her gaze back to the three villains before her.

"Now, keep silent and I promise it will be painless". The Mistress of Evil told Jafar, Cruella and Evil Queen, getting them all to gulp in fear. Maleficent held out her scepter for Hades to take, which he did with his left hand. The blue-haired god then brought Maleficent's scepter up to take a closer look with a curious expression. "...Hard to believe that the famed "Dragon's Eye" was really just a useless twig". He remarked, comparing this scepter to the Dragon's Eye in this world.

Maleficent brought her left hand up, then waved the left hand's fingers with green magic briefly appearing around them. Jafar was brought up to the winged Mistress of Evil, all the while he was sweating nervously at being so close to a dangerous woman. Maleficent placed her left hand's index and middle fingers on the old human man's forehead, before yellow magic appeared around her fingertips.

Jafar suddenly gasped with his eyes gleaming a bright yellow color, while Maleficent's eyes briefly turned yellow for a moment. The Mistress of Evil read Jafar's mind and saw through his life as a street rat, advisor to the sultan and here on the isle. But what really mattered to Maleficent was the memories of Jay and to her disappointment, Jafar really was what Maleficent thought he was. A rotten man that didn't care about his son and only used him to steal from others.

After a moment or two of seeing Jafar's memories, Maleficent brought her left hand away from the man's forehead. She let out a disappointed sigh, then stared at the former advisor with a frown. "I had hoped to be wrong about you, but unfortunately you're exactly what I thought you were. A sad man that was ruled by his greed and desire and had no love for his own son". The Dark Fey said with a low voice, yet Jafar heard her perfectly.

The old man stared at Maleficent in bewilderment, then grew a deep frown. "Love? A villain has no need for such garbage like love! Love is nothing but a waste of time and is a weakness! It's-!" He yelled out, only to be silence as Maleficent roughly grabbed his neck with her left hand and brought him in close. Jafar whimpered at seeing the dangerous green glow in Maleficent's eyes as she glared at him with her teeth grit.

"Watch...your mouth! Love is more powerful than you think! It's exactly why the hero Alladin was able to defeat you, and why Jay's a much better man than you!" She growled out, tightening her grip on Jafar's neck and unintentionally choking him a bit. Fortunately for the old man, Maleficent eased her grip and stopped chocking him, but didn't let go just yet.

Jafar began shaking in fear at this dangerous woman, while Hades watched with a small smile. 'I wish I had some popcorn to enjoy as I watch this. It's not every day you see someone chew out the three most famed villains of the isle like this'. The blue-haired god thought to himself, honestly a bit relieved that he was spared this fate. He did give a small wince upon remembering how easy Maleficent manhandled him, but quickly forgot about it.

Maleficent finally let go of Jafar's neck with him floating back to where he was just a minute or two ago in between Evil Queen and Cruella. Speaking of the black and white-haired woman, she was the next to be brought up to Maleficent with her still letting out muffled screams. Once Cruella was in front of her, Maleficent placed her left hand's index and middle fingers on the human woman's forehead.

Cruella's eyes began to glow yellow as Maleficent read her mind. The Mistress of Evil saw Cruella's life on how she was raised as a rich child, living the good life with wealth and no care whatsoever for the commoners. Maleficent's disgust began to grow at seeing how Cruella tried to make fur coats by using little young puppies for them. She then saw Cruella's life here on the isle, and Maleficent's disgust went beyond Maleficent's imagination at seeing how she treated Carlos.

Having him do all the chores, wash her car and even locked him away in closet with beartraps. It was inhuman and a miracle that Carlos was still alive after everything he's gone through. The only good thing that came from him being trapped in the closet was that he became friends with Evie because of it.

Deciding that she's seen enough; Maleficent brought her hand away from Cruella's forehead. Immediately after feeing that strange sense gone, Cruella began screaming in her gag once more, but that mattered little to the Mistress of Evil. "Truly, there isn't a single word that can perfectly describe how terrible of a person you are, Cruella De Vil. To put your own son into a closet that had beartraps inside, you didn't care whatsoever about him". Maleficent told Carlos's mother with a disgusted voice, then gave a sadistic smile at her.

"Once I'm done here, I'm going to go and personally trash that car that you care about so much over your son". The Mistress of Evil told Cruella, much to her horror at hearing this as her screaming intensified. Hades could only stare at the muffled screaming woman in pity at hearing what Maleficent plans to do with Cruella's prized possession, but then again, she more than deserves it.

Cruella floated away and Maleficent turned her gaze onto the final one of the three famed villains; Evil Queen. Evie's mother floated up to the winged fairy, all the while she glared down at Maleficent. "You will regret this!" The Evil Queen growled out, no fear for this woman not because of bravery, but out of stupidity. She was too caught up in the belief that she's an important figure and that she could punish Maleficent at any time.

Maleficent rolled her eyes at Evil Queen's threat, not the least bit intimidated by her words. "Keep on saying that if it'll make you feel better. But the reality is that you'll never be able to touch me". The Mistress of Evil stated, then brought up her left hand. "Don't you dare lay your peasant fingers on-!" Evie's mother threatened but wasn't able to finish due to Maleficent touching her forehead with the index and middle fingers, using magic to read the Evil Queen's mind.

Evil Queen let out a gasp, eyes glowing a yellow color. Maleficent's eyes gleamed the same color as she began going through the memories of Evie Queen; seeing how she married Snow White's father to become queen of the kingdom, and the so called "fairest one of all". Maleficent once again began feeling great disgust at seeing Evil Queen force her stepdaughter; Snow White become a scullery maid in her castle, all out of jealously.

Maleficent saw the whole tale of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" through the Evil Queen's mind. She felt happy for Snow White for leaving and finding a life with the dwarfs and even finding love. She did feel truly disgusted with Snow White's stepmother at seeing her poison the princess with a poison apple, disguised as an old woman. She did enjoy seeing Evil Queen chased through the forest by the seven dwarfs on the backs of animals.

Maleficent then started seeing Evil Queen's memories of when she was brought to the isle. How she still lived in a castle, then had Evie, but not out of wanting a child that she gave birth herself. Maleficent felt pity for Evie at how Evil Queen truly did dye her hair blue all in order to get attention. Maleficent's pity only grew at seeing Evil Queen's ridiculous attempt to get at her counterpart at throwing a birthday party for Evie and invited every child, except for Mal.

Getting banished and forced to live in a castle all because of the stupid idea; Maleficent truly pitied Evie. She was thankful though to learn that Evie was able to go to school, where she met Mal, Jay and Carlos. Maleficent was a bit fascinated at seeing how they didn't start off as a group right away, but got together slowly after that quest Maleficent sent them on to retrieve the Dragon's Eye. And somewhere along the way, Evil Queen and Evie started living with this world's "Maleficent" and Mal.

Knowing all that she needs now; Maleficent brought her hand away from Evil Queen's forehead and ceased using her magic. Evie's mother gasped for air upon feeling herself free from Maleficent's magic, then glared at the Dark Fey. "What did you just do to me?!" The Evil Queen questioned Maleficent, demanding to know what exactly she just did.

Instead of answering; Maleficent just waved her left hand to the side. Evil Queen floated back to beside Jafar on his right. The Mistress of Evil turned her gaze on all three villains and saw them glaring at her with hate in their eyes. "Now listen you three; I didn't do anything harmful to you. I just merely looked through your memories because I needed to know about you and your tales". Maleficent told them, reaching out to Hades with her right hand open.

Hades got the message on what Maleficent was asking for and handed the scepter to its owner. The Dark Fey took a good grip of the scepter, then tapped it gently on the ground. "Hey! That's an invasion of personal space!" Jafar shouted at the Mistress of Evil, getting a scoff from Hades at how small a crime that is. "You would know about crime; consider you broke the law many times. And besides, it is nothing compared to the crimes all three of you committed". Maleficent responded, pointing at all three villains with her scepter.

"You Evil Queen, tried to kill your own stepdaughter out of nothing, but jealousy. Jafar, trying to overthrow the Sultan just to reach the top and force his daughter to marry you? Disgraceful. And Cruella, trying to kill a punch of puppies all to make fur coats? You're truly a woman that's lost her sanity". The Mistress of Evil said with a deep frown, listing the crimes Evil Queen, Jafar and Cruella are known for.

The glares that the three famed villains were giving Maleficent intensified at her words. "Oh, you think you're so high and mighty, is that it? That you're a better villain than us!" Evil Queen exclaimed with a bitter voice, which the Mistress of Evil shook her head. "I'm not a villain, not anymore. And even if I still am one in the eyes of others, I'm not a villain like you three. Villains that would care nothing for their own children!" Maleficent told them, eyes narrowing as she spoke with a cold voice.

Jafar, Evil Queen and Cruella all shivered at Maleficent's tone, but then the former advisor spoke up. "Children? Are you talking about those disappointments in Auradon?" Jafar questioned with a frown, before crying out in surprise upon suddenly getting shot like a bullet towards Maleficent and she caught him in a chokehold with her left hand. "Watch what you say about Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay! They're not disappointments, you three are!" The Dark Fey said with a low, cold voice and dangerously narrowed eyes glaring right into Jafar's eyes.

The former advisor didn't give into fear, because he was overwhelmed with anger at what she just said to him. "Us? Disappointments?! How dare you!" He shouted out right in Maleficent's face, right before a familiar, gloved hand came in from the side and roughly grabbed hold of Jafar's face. Jafar grunted, while Maleficent looked left to see Hades standing beside her with the god glaring at Jay's father with narrowed eyes.

"That's no way to speak to a lady". Hades growled out, then gave a small squeeze that made the old man hiss in pain. He then let go of Jafar and turn to look at Maleficent, then gave her a wink with his right eye. Maleficent slightly widen her eyes and flushed just a bit at the wink Hades gave, before she shook her head slightly to get ahold of herself.

She turned to glare at the three villains in front of her. "You have no idea how big the urge to teach you all a lesson is, but count your lucky stars that you're all spared from that fate. I'll deal with you three later and explain what my purpose here is". The Mistress of Evil told Cruella, Jafar and Evil Queen, before she held up her right hand with yellow magic appearing above the palm.

Maleficent blew her magic right at the three villains, quickly engulfing them. Jafar, Cruella and Evil Queen all fell backwards as they all lost consciousness from Maleficent's magic, but were suspended by that same magic. Hades raised an eyebrow at seeing this, right as the floating forms of all three villains floated away and out of the living room. "How long are you planning to keep them out like a light?" The blue-haired god asked Maleficent, turning his head to look at her as he spoke.

Maleficent turned to look at him, then gave a small grin. "Just for a few days. At least until I come back from showing Mal and the others the Moors". The Mistress of Evil told Hades, catching him by surprise at learning this. "Does that mean you decided to help the villains trapped on the isle?" Hades asked with an eager voice, yet Maleficent just grew an uncertain expression.

"I still haven't made my choice about that just yet. It's just that I'm still the Moors protector despite not being its queen anymore". The Mistress of Evil informed Hades, something that he understood perfectly. When Maleficent had shown him her memories, Hades had seen that trouble still lurked around the Moors as humans have been attempting to kidnap some fairies. Humans and their greed can be ridicules at times.

"Until I can be certain that everything will be alright in my absence, I can't afford any risks". Maleficent told Hades, then turned her gaze over to Diaval and saw him still standing outside on the balcony. "Diaval! Anyone uninvited coming?!" The Dark Fey asked her good friend, catching Diaval's attention as he turned to look at her over his right shoulder.

"No. No one's coming". The human form raven asked, much to Maleficent's delight at hearing this. "Good to hear. Now, onto our next destination". Maleficent said with an eager voice, getting Hades curious on what she's talking about. "Care to enlighten me on what you mean by next destination?" The blue-haired god asked Maleficent, crossing both arms as he spoke.

"I wish to see Mal's friend Dizzy and the other children and villains. She also mentioned a "Celia Facilier", so I'm curious about the mentioned girl". The Dark Fey answered, before she turned around and began walking to the exit. "Oh, you wanna see Celia? I know her and I'm good friends with her dad; Dr. Facilier". Hades stated, following Maleficent with Diaval right on his tail.

The three left the stronghold of this world's "Maleficent", Jafar, Evil Queen and Cruella to explore more of this isle that so many villains have been trapped on for over 20 years now.

(The next day, afternoon)

All around the front of Auradon Prep; many people, be they students, adults and even cameramen, were gathered eagerly on the frown lawn where their king and future queen stood in front of the statute of the former king. Ben was wearing his usual blue suit, while Mal had on a purple dress that was VK style, both of them standing beside one another with the king holding a microphone with his right hand.

Among the people gathered around were Evie, Jay, Carlos, Fairy Godmother, Jane, Lonnie, Doug, Dude, Ben's parents, even Audrey, her grandmother and Chad. But out of all of them, only those that have seen the other Maleficent's tale know what was going on right now. Ben had indeed called for a conference for the people of Auradon to gather and tell him about the good Maleficent and how she isn't any danger.

Mal looked at all the people gathered with an uncertain expression, worried about anything going wrong with this. Like the people refusing to believe their words, or demanding her mother be sent to the isle. Those are the worst case scenarios and Mal knew for certain that her mother won't obey the people's words and do whatever she wishes. And if anyone tried anything, they'll regret messing with the Mistress of Evil.

Mal turned to look at her boyfriend for reassurance, something he noticed and gave her a gentle smile to help calm Mal down. Ben's smile calmed Mal's nerves as she returned it, before the couple faced all the people of Auradon. Ben let out a deep breath, before he brought the microphone to his face and spoke "Everyone, thank you for coming on such short notice!" The young king cried out through his microphone, getting cheers from many of the kingdom's citizens.

A single male journalist took a step forward, holding a notebook with his left hand and a pen with the right hand. "Your Majesty, have you called us all here to discuss the mysterious reappearance of Maleficent?" The unknown man questioned Ben, a question everyone was eager to learn the answer to. Despite answering the call to this press conference, Auradon's people were still incredibly terrified of running into the Mistress of Evil and what "she'll" do to them.

Mal flinched at the question, but Ben remained firm and answered right away. "In a way, it is about Maleficent". The brown-haired teenager answered, resulting in an uproar of cheers from all the people since they assumed this meant he was gonna handle the situation. "About time he does something right". Audry's grandmother remarked from beside her granddaughter and Chad, arms crossed and nodding her head.

Chad gave a grin, while Audrey groaned as she held her forehead with the right hand. She had a terrible headache so bad that she can't remember anything about yesterday past the point of her going to Ben's office. She was just suddenly walking one moment, and the next she was waking up in bed with no idea what happened to her. Normally she wouldn't be bothered by something like this, but Audrey felt like she was forgetting something important, but just couldn't remember.

Ben cleared his throat, then spoke on the microphone. "That Maleficent that appear 3 days ago, there's something you should all know! That Maleficent isn't the one we all know!" The brown-haired boy said out loud, confusing Auradon's people greatly since they have no idea what he meant by that. "The truth is; that "Maleficent" that appeared is another one from a different world". Auradon's king told the residents, much to their further confusion.

"Your majesty, what do you mean by that?" A female journalist asked, holding a microphone herself with a cameraman behind her. "What I mean to say that the woman that appeared was "Maleficent", but is a different one from the one that broke out of the isle. The very proof of my claim is just the sight of her". The young king answered, then turned to look at Mal and held out the microphone for her to take.

The purple-haired girl hesitated, staring at the microphone Ben's offering to her with an uncertain face. She then let out a deep sigh to let out all her uncertainty, before taking the microphone. She brought it up to her face, then spoke up. "Ben's right! All of you that were there at the anniversary party saw how different the "Maleficent" we saw on that day to the one that crashed Ben's coronation. The way she looked, how she talked and those large wings of hers!" She spoke loud and clear, just like how Ben was speaking a few moments ago.

At Mal's words, the people of Auradon began to talk among themselves as they couldn't argue with their future queen about what she said. They had all been too terrified that evening that they didn't pay any mind to how different that woman they saw was to the one that almost crashed their king's coronation. The same male journalist then spoke up, taking another step forward.

"Regardless if she's a different Maleficent from the one of this world, the fact remains that she's still a danger to Auradon. How do you intend to deal with her?" The nameless man questioned Mal, grabbing the attention of all the other people of Auradon. They all turned to look at their future queen, who had a small frown at how everyone already considered her mother a threat.

Still; the future queen of Auradon kept her emotions in to answer the questions professionally. "Despite her rather rudely and frightening appearance at the anniversary party; she isn't really a threat to us or Auradon". Mal told the residents of Auradon, a claim that they found hard to believe. Both from her being a "Maleficent" and how she caused chaos at the party 3 days ago.

Ben gently took the microphone from his girlfriend's hands and brought it to his mouth. "It is true that she broke in during the anniversary party, but there's a good reason why she did it. She had just arrived in our world and was confused because she had no idea what was going on. 2 days ago, she came to us and showed us her story". Ben told his people, much to their surprise and fear at learning this. "You were near that monster?!" The female journalist exclaimed with wide eyes, horrified that Auradon's king was near the Mistress of Evil.

Mal, Ben, Evie, Jay, Carlos, Fairy Godmother, Jane, Lonnie, Doug and Ben's parents all frowned at what that woman said about Maleficent. After all they've seen in Maleficent's tale, she wasn't a monster to them anymore. She was something more than a hero and villain, she was something else that doesn't have a name just yet. Maybe they'll figure out a name for her later, but for now they needed to focus on clearing her name here in Auradon.

Ben took in a deep breath, then breathed out to release the bit of anger he felt. "Yes, and she isn't a monster. The "Maleficent" I met isn't like the one that we all know, the one that cursed an entire kingdom. I know that this is all hard to believe, but it's the truth". Auradon's king told his people, speaking clear with conviction to show that he means what he says.

Yet despite their king's words, most of Auradon's people don't believe him, but it was out of fear. "Then King Ben, where is this "other" Maleficent now? How can we take your word that she isn't a danger if we don't know where she is?" The male journalist questioned Ben, grabbing his attention as he turned to look at him. "Actually, I do know where she is right now". The young king revealed, then gazed upwards towards the sky above them all.

"I made a request of her, and to fully understand if she could grant this request of mine, she's gone to see the Isle of the Lost with her own eyes". Ben explained, turning his gaze back down to all the people before him and Mal. Learning of this caused all the citizens to erupt in gossip at how their "greatest fear" went to the Isle of her own choice. "Your highness, if I may ask? Is the barrier's change of color because of this "other" Maleficent's doing?" The same female journalist asked, a small hint of fear in her voice.

"I'm certain that it is because of her. The other "Maleficent" is much more powerful than the one of this world, something I'm sure all that were at the anniversary party can agree to". Auradon's king told his people, yet that didn't seem to calm them down and instead made their worries grow. "That just makes her all the more dangerous! She destroyed the Fairy Godmother's wand!" A random citizen of Auradon yelled out with a voice full of fear. He had been one of the few at the anniversary party that had seen her appear that day.

"I won't deny that. But she's also the one that repaired it as good as new". Ben shot back, much to the surprise of Auradon's people at hearing this. Some of them, those clear by to the headmistress of Auradon Prep, turned to look at Fairy Godmother with her nodding to Ben's words. "I know that this is hard to believe, but "Maleficent" isn't a villain. She's actually a hero and something more". The king told his people, something that they didn't believe at all, out of fear and hate for the Dark Fey instead of evidence.

Right as a journalist opened their mouth to speak; the sounds of wings flapping caught everyone's attention. Mal grew an excited smile, before she and everyone else looked upwards to see the Dark Fey above flying above them with Diaval, in his raven form, right beside her, scepter in right hand. Ben, Evie, Jay, Carlos, Fairy Godmother, Jane, Lonnie, Doug, Dude, Adam and Belle all smiled at the sight of the Mistress of Evil and her friend.

The people of Auradon, however, were all in a panic at seeing Maleficent. Even Audrey, her grandmother and Chad were screaming in fear at the sight of her. "It's Maleficent!" The same male journalist cried out in fear, falling to the ground on his back. The rest of Auradon's people that were gathered started screaming, but weren't running away however. They were so caught up in their fear that they didn't notice Maleficent's lack of interest in them.

Maleficent flew down and landed in between Mal and Ben. The purple-haired teenager immediately threw her arms around Maleficent in a big hug, something that got a chuckle out of her as she returned the embrace. The pair of mother and daughter quickly broke their hug, right before Diaval flew down and Mal raised her left arm for the raven to perch on.

Mal laughed happily as she brought up her right hand and gently stroke Diaval's feathers, receiving an affectionate cry from him. Maleficent turned to look at Ben, then nodded to him with the young king returning the nod. Maleficent turned her gaze over to all the screaming citizens, then chuckled a bit in amusement. 'They'e screaming like a bunch of toddlers. Humans really are hilarious'. The Dark Fey thought to herself in amusement at how easy it was to frighten these people without even doing anything.

Her amusement, however, quickly grew to annoyance at how they not only keep screaming, but started throwing insults her way like "Monster", "Evil fairy" and "winged abomination'. She took notice that Audrey, Chad and Audrey's grandmother were part of the few throwing insults at her, but only Leila seemed to have something against Maleficent judging from the way she was glaring at the Dark Fey.

Maleficent narrowed her eyes at the three of them. Despite Audrey and Lean being "related" to Aurora, the Dark Fey disliked them greatly. Audrey because of how she treated her daughter and Lean because of how she blamed Mal for the "Maleficent" of this world's actions. Maleficent had no doubt that even Aurora would find the two unpleasant herself. And as for Chad, there wasn't enough time in the day to list off all the things that Maleficent disliked about him.

Enough about that though; it was time to bring order back to the press conference. Maleficent's eyes began glowing a bright green color, before she raised her scepter and then tapped it against the ground. The moment Maleficent's scepter's flat end touched the ground, a wave of green magic was released all over the front lawn of Auradon Prep, yet thankfully didn't do any damage.

It passed through the Beast statute, leaves, road, school and even the people, doing no harm whatsoever yet it did silence all the screaming residents of Auradon. They were so frightened that they lost their voices and could only stare at the Mistress of Evil that was staring down at them with her glowing green eyes. "...Quiet...please". Maleficent politely requested from Auradon's people, something they didn't object in fear of angering her.

Maleficent gave a pleased nod at their compliance, before she turned to look at Ben. The young king of Auradon was smiling nervously at seeing Maleficent use intimidation to silence the out of control people, but didn't speak up since he knew that was a bad idea. So, he just gave her a thankful nod and turned to look at his people.

Maleficent turned to look at Mal and saw the purple-haired girl still stroking Diaval's feathers. The teenage girl took notice of her mother's gaze and smiled at Maleficent, something she returned. The Mistress of Evil then spoke, but quietly to not draw Ben's attention. "We need to talk later, about your father". Mal's mother told her, much to the surprise of Mal. The purple-haired girl could only wonder what happened to Maleficent on her old home yesterday.

(A little later)

The press conference lasted for a while, maybe 3 hours or so. Maleficent spent a good hour and a half of it answering questions like her story, what she's planning to do here in Auradon and if she was a villain. It was a bit irritating for the Mistress of Evil, but she kept her cool and answered their questions. It soon ended and all the people left, relieved of their concerns of Maleficent conquering Auradon, but still uneasy about her free to roam around.

Not a total victory, but it was still a small one. With that out of the way, Maleficent took Mal to the forest to have a private discussion with her, leaving Diaval with everyone else to tell them about their activities on the Isle of the Lost. But not before turning him into a human to make it easier for him.

To the present; Maleficent and Mal stood in front of each other a little deep in the forest, far enough so that no one will eavesdrop on their conversation. Maleficent was still holding her scepter with the right hand and wings slightly folded in. Mal had a small nervous expression, a bit worried about what she's about to learn from her mother about her father.

Mal took a deep breath, then breathed out to release all her pent-up fear. She looked into her mother's eyes, then spoke. "Mom, how was your visit to the isle?" The purple-haired girl asked Maleficent, hoping that nothing bad happened and that she didn't roast someone that tried to pickpocket her. "When I first arrived, everyone was afraid of me, but that was to be expected". Maleficent began, then grew a small frown upon remembering what was the "normal" on that island.

"Mal, what I saw on that island was insane. Stealing, treating others like garbage and no care for one another, it was madness. And worse of all, no kindness whatsoever". The Mistress of Evil said with a disappointed voice, then held up her left hand right as Mal opened her mouth to speak. "I know, it is the rules of survival on that island. Your father told me all about it". Maleficent told Mal, much to her shock and dread at hearing this.

"You met him?!" She questioned in surprise, something that she gave a nod of the head as an answer. Mal grew an uncomfortable face at the thought of the two meeting, and dreaded to hear what Maleficent was about to say.

"Mal, your father... He isn't what you think he is". The Mistress of Evil stated, much to Mal's surprise at hearing this. Maleficent wasn't done yet and continued to speak. "I met your father shortly after I arrived on the isle, and he accompanied me for the rest of the day and this morning. He's helped me a great deal in my time there". She told her daughter, growing a smile as she spoke.

Despite her mother's words, Mal still looked uncomfortable about talking about her father. "That's... great to hear". She stated, turning away from her mother and frowned deeply. Maleficent let out a sigh at seeing this, but couldn't blame Mal for acting like this. Despite his reasonings for his actions, the fact remains that Hades still abandoned Mal as a baby and wasn't there for her growing him. If he heard those thoughts of her, Maleficent had no doubt that Hades would say in his defense, he's given Mal everything by giving her nothing.

Maleficent walked up to her daughter and stopped in front of Mal, then took her into an embrace. The purple-haired girl returned the embrace with Maleficent wrapping both wings around Mal, depending the hug. "I won't ask you to forgive for his absence in your life. All I ask is that you give him a chance to be in your life. One chance is all I'm asking". The Mistress of Evil requested, speaking softly with affection and gently stroking Mal's hair that brought her a great feeling of comfort.

Mal had half lidded eyes at the comforting she was feeling in her mother's hold. She still managed to give a nod of the head though. "I'll... I'll try". She told the Mistress of Evil, much to her delight at hearing this. Maleficent then spread her wings out, before she and Mal broke their hug to look at one another. "What's he doing now that you're back here?" Mal asked her mother with a curious voice, curious on what the famed God of death was doing right now.

"He's going over all the problems of the isle and writing them down on a list for me to take care of later when I go back". Maleficent answered, catching Mal by surprise at hearing this. "Go back? Then, does this mean you've finally decided?" The purple-haired girl asked with an excited voice, even growing an eager smile at the possibility of her mother accepting Ben's request to help the villains trapped on the isle.

"...I can't promise anything, but I will give it a try. I met Jafar, Cruella and Evil Queen and all they've done is shown me how much of a disappointment they are. But I also met some of the more good hearted villains on that isle that care for their children". The Dark Fey answered her daughter, speaking truthy since she was still not certain that she's capable of helping all the villains on that island.

"I'm sure that you can do it. You're the "Mistress of Evil" after all, so there's no way those villains are a match for you". Mal told her mother with a confident grin, something that got a chuckle out of Maleficent since she couldn't argue with that. Be it whoever, there's nobody that Maleficent can't handle. After all she is, just like Mal said, the Mistress of Evil.

Mal's face then changed into an excited one much like a child on Christmas. "Now that everything's been taken care of, does that mean we can go to the Moors now?" The purple-haired girl asked in excitement, something that got a small chuckle from Maleficent. "Yes, it does. We'll be leaving for the Moors shortly once everyone meets up with us here". The Mistress of Evil answered, increasing Mal's anticipation at learning this.

"Oh, I just can't wait! I'm finally gonna see the Moors with my own eyes and meet Aurora!" The future queen of Auradon exclaimed, holding up both hands as a sign to express her excitement. Maleficent continued to smile, growing eager herself for Mal to meet Aurora herself. And fortunately for the pair of mother and daughter, it didn't seem they had to wait much longer.

"Mistress! Young Mistress!" A familiar voice cried out to the two of them, catching the attention of Maleficent and Mal. They looked to see Diaval walking towards them with surprisingly, only Evie, Jay, Carlos, Jane, Lonnie and Doug walking towards them with the son of Cruella carrying Dude in his arms. Evie noticed their surprised looks and knew what they were thinking.

"Ben, his parents and Fairy Godmother had to stay behind to handle some paperwork and other stuff, so they couldn't come. They did tell us to have fun on our trip though". The daughter of Evil Queen told Maleficent and Mal, just as her group stopped in front of them. Mal grew disappointed at hearing her boyfriend wasn't coming, while Maleficent wasn't too bothered by it.

"Oh well. I just take them there sometime and maybe I could use Fairy Godmother's help with that". Maleficent said to herself, taking hold of her chin with the left hand. The Mistress of Evil didn't really try to speak quietly, so everyone else heard what she said and looked at her in confusion. "Help with what?" Jane asked with a curious voice, snapping Maleficent out of her thoughts and turn to look at her.

She shook her head and gave a reassuring smile. "It's nothing to be worried about, just something that might be helpful in the future. For now, let's forget about anything else and focus on your visit to the Moors". The Mistress of Evil told the teenagers, then turned her gaze over to Diaval. "Go on ahead and tell Aurora that I'm bringing some guests over". She told her old friend, something he raised an eyebrow at, but still nodded to her.

"Understood, Mistress". The human form raven replied, right before Maleficent snapped her left hand's fingers with yellow magic briefly appearing over her hand. Black smoke appeared over Diaval as he transformed back into his raven form. Once fully as a raven again, Diaval let out a loud "caw" sound, then took off into the sky with everyone watching him go.

"He looks so yummy". Dude remarked, getting both Carlos and Jane to stare at him with bewildered looks. "You seriously can't be thinking of still eating him, right? He's not like other birds, so you can't eat him". The black and white-haired male reminded his best friend, certain that Maleficent wouldn't like her friend to be dog food. And if Diaval was ticked off enough, Carlos was afraid of him asking Maleficent to turn him into a dragon just like they all saw in Maleficent's memories.

Maleficent gave a small chuckle as she overheard them, but made no comment. Instead, she turned around and began walking in a seemingly random direction. "Children, follow close behind and don't lag behind! I don't have time to waste looking for anybody that got lost". She told the teenagers, making it clear that she didn't want to waste time on anything that can be avoided.

Mall and her friends obeyed and followed after the Mistress of Evil as she lead them all to the gateway between their worlds.

(1 hour later)

Everyone's little track through the forest lasted for a good hour. For Maleficent, Mal and the other VK kids, it was nothing to their stamina. Jane, Lonnie and Douge however, lost their breath after the first 30 minutes. But fortunately for them, their long walk through the forest soon came to an end as everyone reached their destination.

Everyone was standing 10 feet away from the old tree that's split is still glowing light blue, acting as a portal. "Is that it?" Jay questioned with a small frown and arms crossed, finding it hard to believe that's the portal between worlds. "As boring as it looks, this is it. Through here, you'll find yourselves in my world and in the Moors". Maleficent answered, then slightly turned to look at the children.

"Just walk through and you're there". The Mistress of Evil told them, then pointed her scepter towards the portal. Mal, Evie, Jay, Carlos, Dude, Jane, Lonnie and Doug all turned towards the portal and stared at it for a few moments. Maleficent lowered her scepter, then turned towards the portal. "I'll go through it first, just to make it easier for you all. I'll be waiting on the other side". She told them all, before she began walking forward.

None of the people of Auradon objected to this, most feeling better at the thought of seeing how it works first before trying it out themselves. Mal, on the other hand, was growing restless with all this waiting. Just beyond that portal laid the world that her mother came from and where a sister she never knew waited. So as much as she wanted to hurry it up, Mal waitied just a little onger.

Maleficent stopped right in front of the portal, then looked over her right shoulder and wing to look at the Auradon teenagers. "Take a moment to prepare yourselves. This world isn't like this one. For an example, magic isn't forbidden". The Mistress of Evil told them all, right before she folded both wings in and walked right into the portal, disappearing from their sights.

Evie, Jay, Carlos, Dude, Jane, Lonnie and Doug gasped at seeing Maleficent disappear like that, but Mal didn't waste time and immediately started walking towards the portal. "M-Mal, wait a second". Jane said weakly to the future queen of Auradon, yet the purple-haired female didn't stop. She did slow down the closer she got. Right when she was just a few feet away from it, Mal held her left hand out as if she were reaching for something.

Just as she was about to enter; Mal closed both eyes. Then, she passed through the portal and left this world.

(In Maleficent's world)

Mal didn't know what to expect the moment she crossed over to her mother's world. A different presence, the flow of magic or even the air itself different from before. Turns out that it was all of the above the moment she crossed over, but Mal kept her eyes shut out of fear of the unknown.

But then a warm and gentle hand took hold of her left hand and held it in a secure grip. Mal grew a smile because even with her eyes closed, she knew that hand that took hold of hers was her mother's. Mal opened both eyes, then gasped in wonder at laying eyes on the Moors' forest for the first time.

Unlike the one back in Auradon, this forest gave off a magical presence as if there was magic itself in the air. Even the trees seem more alive than the ones back at Auradon. The young purple-haired female also saw her other worldly mother standing just a single step away, holding Mal's left hand with her right one. The Dark Fey gave her daughter a smile, one that Mal returned brightly.

"Mal, welcome to the Moors". Maleficent said to her daughter, giving a very short bow of the head to Mal. The purple-haired female breathed out in amazement, looking upwards towards the sky and saw it was a clear blue color without a single cloud in sight. "I can't believe I'm really here in the Moors... It's more beautiful than I thought". Mal said in awe, getting a small chuckle from Maleficent as the two walked a little bit away from the old tree.

"Thank you for the kind words, but you have yet to see anything just yet. This is on the Moors' outskirts, the real beauty lies further within". The Mistress of Evil told her daughter, much to Mal's excitement at hearing this. Just as Mal was about to open her mouth, someone gasped from behind the pair of mother and daughter, grabbing their attention.

They turned around and saw Evie standing right in front of the old tree with both arms out, looking around her surroundings with wide eyes. The others stared coming out one by one starting with Jay, Carlos and Dude, Jane, Lonnie and Doug with all seven of them displaying expressions of wonder. "Whoa... Now that was something". Jay remarked, feeling a bit tingly from crossing worlds just now.

"What took you guys so long?" Mal asked her friends with a small grin, which Lonnie gave a nervous laugh as she turned to look at the purple-haired female. "Well... We were kinda nervous to walk into that thing. But hey, we did it anyway". The black-haired girl said with a nervous voice, giving a shrug of her shoulders.

Mal chuckled, right before she and Maleficent let go of each other's hands. "Children, welcome to my world and home". The Mistress of Evil said softly, spreading her wings slightly as she spoke. At Maleficent's words, the teenagers all looked around their surroundings with Carlos and Dude looking a bit disappointed as they were expecting more.

"This is the Moors? I was expecting more than this". Carlos remarked, then gave a gulp at seeing Maleficent narrow her eyes at him in a rather dangerous way. "Smart man, real smart to tick off the superpower fairy". Dude whispered to his best friend, making no move since he didn't want to draw Maleficent's attention over to him. "I didn't mean to do this. I just spoke honestly". Carlos whispered back, making no sudden move to tick off that Dark Fey.

"We're a bit away from the Moors main land, but we're not too far from it. Follow me". Maleficent told the teenagers, much to the displeasure of Jane, Lonnie and Doug at hearing this since they were still tired. Still, they didn't complain and they, along with Mal, Evie, Carlos, Jay and Dude, began following Maleficent as she started walking away and led the way.

Maleficent led the way for the teenagers across the Moors, the forest growing more magical the deeper they go. They even began to spot some of the fairies that live in the Moors; such as Wallerbogs, Mushroom Fairies and Leaf fairies, much to the teenagers' amazement. Even the fairies seemed surprised to see humans here, but greeted them warmly with smiles and waves.

Out of all of them; Mal was the one that greeted the fairies back with enthusiasm. Despite her appearance and history, she was part fairy herself and yet hasn't met another one beside her mother, Fairy Godmother and Jane. The Headmistress and her daughter weren't exactly the most fairy-like and were more human-like. Even her world's version of "Maleficent" lost her fairy appearance and became more human-like.

So, Mal was very excited to see more of her kind. Despite living in Auradon for a good while now, she's hardly seen any fairies of that world like the famous "Tinker Bell" or other well know fairies. The others noticed Mal's excitement and couldn't help the smiles that grew on their faces at seeing Mal's delight at seeing the fairies. Maleficent especially since she truly was happy that Mal loved the Moors deeply.

Maleficent's thoughts wondered to what it would have been like if she had been the "Maleficent" that had given birth to Mal. She had obviously been born as a Dark Fey with wings of her own instead of that ability to transform into a dragon. Maleficent's heart skipped a beat at the thought of a child Mal as a Dark Fey, and all the joy she could have brought to the fairies here in the Moors.

But unfortunately, that'll never happen. Mal was born from the "Maleficent" of that other world, and nothing could change that. But just as that thought came to Maleficent's mind, a new stray one came out of nowhere. On an ancient spell that the fairies of the Moon use, one that has hasn't been used for a long time, but could perhaps change Mal's blood, the half from that crazy counterpart of hers.

Just as Maleficent was start to brainstorm the idea, a familiar cry from above caught everyone's attention. They all stopped and looked to see Diaval flying down towards them, cawing loudly. "Hey, there's my bird snack". Dude remarked, getting a small glare from Mal at what he classified Diaval as. Maleficent paid the dog no mind, just held up her free hand and waved her wings with yellow magic briefly appearing around the fingers.

Once he was close enough, black smoke covered Diaval as he transformed into his human form and landed right in front of Maleficent. The human form raven had a small smile on his face as he turned to look at Maleficent, just as she lowered her hand. "Well? How is Aurora?" Maleficent asked her old friend, eager to hear how the Moors' queen has been in the last few days in her absence.

"Aurora is doing great. No trouble has taken place since we left and Aurora's on her way here now to meet up with you". Diaval reported to the Mistress of Evil, much to Mal's surprise at learning this. She was then suddenly hit with a strong sense of uncertainty, wondering if Aurora will dislike her for any reason. After all Mal just came into Maleficent's life and was the birth child of a "Maleficent", while Aurora was just a child the Dark Fey had raised. So, worst case scenario would be that Aurora dislikes her and wants Mal to leave.

Just as Mal opened her mouth to speak to Maleficent, someone else beat her to it. "Godmother!" A familiar voice cried out from up ahead, grabbing everyone's attention as they turned to face the direction that cry came from. A few bushes rattled, before someone emerged from within them. It was the famous Sleeping Beauty of this world; Aurora.

The young queen of the Moors was wearing a sky blue dress, was bare footed and her hair was freely loose with nothing to hold it. Aurora was just as radiant and beautiful as everyone saw in Maleficent's memories and growing older has done nothing to change that. Jay, Carlos and Doug were all instantly enchanted by the beautiful queen, much to the annoyance of their girlfriends.

Mal, on the other hand, stared at the blond-haired girl with wide eyes. In every way, Aurora was Mal's older sister and it was taking Mal a moment or two to get ahold of herself at seeing the blond-haired queen with her own eyes in person. Fortunately for the future queen of Auradon, Aurora's attention wasn't on her and instead on the woman that raised her.

"Godmother!" Aurora cried out in delight with a massive smile as she ran over to the Mistress of Evil. Maleficent quickly handed her scepter over to Diaval, who took it, before she held her arms out right as Aurora ran up and both females wrapped their arms around each other in a hug. Maleficent let out a stuttering breath at feeling her previous beastie in her arms again, having missed her greatly.

Diaval smiled at the sight, while the people of Auradon stared with wide eyes. Despite seeing Maleficent's tale and the knowledge of her relationship with Aurora, it was still a surprising sight for them. The hug didn't last long, but it was enough for Maleficent and Aurora. They broke their hug, but kept their arms around each other. "I've been so worried about you and Diaval! Where have you been?" Aurora asked the Dark Fey with a concerned face.

Maleficent's face fell at Aurora's words, feeling a sense of shame for causing her to worry these last few days. Maleficent grew a reassuring smile to relieve Aurora of her concerns. "I'm sorry for leaving without saying anything, Beastie. But the reason why will more than make up for it". The Mistress of Evil told Aurora with an eager voice, before looking over to Mal and the others over her right shoulder.

Aurora looked and finally noticed the audience they had. The young queen grew a surprised face at seeing humans here in the Moors, before her attention shifted over to the purple-haired girl. Aurora didn't know why, but something about that girl reminded her about Maleficent. It was like the feeling she gave off that's a bit like the Mistress of Evil.

Aurora turned to look at her fairy godmother with a curious face. "Godmother, who are these people?" The blond-haired adult girl asked, turning her gaze back to Maleficent. The Mistress of Evil gave an eager smile, before placing both hands gently on Aurora's face. "Instead of me telling you, I'll show you Aurora". Maleficent stated, right before yellow magic appeared around the Dark Fay's hands. Both Maleficent and Aurora lightly gasped as their eyes gleamed bright yellow.

Just like with Hades; Maleficent was showing Aurora her memories of the past 4 days on almost everything that happened to her in the other world. The only thing she didn't show Aurora was her time with Hades since that wasn't important right now.

It took a good 10 seconds before Maleficent finished showing Aurora her memories. The yellow magic surrounding Maleficent's hands disappeared, before she pulled them away from Aurora's face. The young queen of the Moors had wide eyes as she stared at Maleficent, asking an unspoken question of what she saw was true. Maleficent understood what Aurora was "asking" and nodded to her.

Aurora turned her gaze over to Mal, who blinked at seeing Aurora's gaze on her, then grew an overjoyed smile. Maleficent stepped aside, right before Aurora ran over to Mal and threw her arms around the purple-haired girl in a big hug, much to the surprise of Mal and her friends. "Oh, I can't believe it! I actually have a sister! This is the best day ever!" Aurora exclaimed with an overjoyed voice, then giggled happily.

Mal's eyes went wide at what she heard Aurora say, almost unable to believe how easily the young queen accepted her as a sister. The embrace that Aurora was giving her, however, made it easy for Mal to believe. So slowly as if she was afraid to scare off Aurora, Mal brought up both hands and returned the embrace. She even closed her eyes to fully take in this moment with her new "sister".

Maleficent, Diaval, Evie, Carlos, Jay, Jane, Lonnie, Doug and Dude all smiled at the two embracing "sisters". It was a small start to co-existence between the two worlds as there were much left to do for that dream to become a reality. But right now to Maleficent; this moment of seeing her "daughters" together was more than enough for her.

And done! This one has been a bit emotionally exhausting, but it is finally over. Now, onto my Pokémon story after so long. I'm gonna enjoy doing it and Pokémon action with Ash. Oh god Ash, I miss him so much! Curse you writers for ever replacing him!

Anyway, next chapter will be the last one before we go onto the events of Descendants 3. Also it'll be the one where Mal becomes a Dark Fey, so be eager for that one. Also if any of you spot any mistakes or misspells in this chapter, tell me so that I can fix it as fast as possible. Now, goodnight everyone, I need some rest.
