A/N: First of all a big thanks to everyone who reviewed my last Victorious story. I hope you like this one as well :)

Beck and Jade were eating at Asphalt Cafe and Jade was just enjoying her second coffee of the day when Cat bounced excitedly over to them, followed by the rest of the group.

"I have great news."

"Vega is moving to another country?" Jade smirked.

"No, I'm staying right here at Hollywood Arts." Tori countered.

"Too bad and it could have been such a great day."

"Anyway what did you want to tell us?" Beck smiled at Cat.

"You remember my costume design class?" When the others nodded the redhead continued. "This semester I took design class and now my teacher wants me to make a small fashion show as my final project. I already made the dresses and Tori and two other girls from my class agreed to be my models. Now I only need one more model. Jadey?"

"No."

"Please. You'll get to wear the most important dress at the end of the show."

"She gets to wear that? I thought that it was for me." Tori complained.

"Only if Jade doesn't agree."

"Alright show me the dresses." Jade smirked and Cat pulled out a portfolio with sketches and lay it on the table.

While his girlfriend looked through the portfolio, Beck lay his head on her shoulder to take a look at the sketches as well. Despite that he was sure that Jade had mainly agreed to get a rise out of Tori, he knew that she could hardly deny her best friend anything. If Cat had begged her for a whole day, Jade would have agreed anyway, but so it was easier. Looking at the different dresses, Beck had to admit that Cat had a talent for designing and he wondered which dresses were meant for his girlfriend. If hearing his thoughts, Jade asked exactly that a moment later.

"So what did you plan for me to wear and tell me the colors as well because I won't wear anything pink."

"This is the first one and it's a dark blue, you know like the sky at night." Cat smiled proudly before turning a few pages. "Here the skirt is black and the top green. Finally this is the last one." She showed them a sketch of a short dress. "It's red with black on the sides."

Jade looked at the three dresses that Cat had chosen for her and considered the colors. It seemed that her best friend knew exactly which colors she would approve of and the designs were close to what she normally wore. Seeing how much work Cat had put into this and when she looked at her with those pleading eyes, Jade couldn't help but agree. Cat and Beck were probably the only people who were able to change her mind if she had already said no, but on the bright side she could steal Vega the show.

"You're buying me these new scissors that we saw last weekend at the mall."

"Yay, you're doing it. Thanks Jadey." When Cat went in for a hug Jade stopped her.

"Don't push it."

"The fitting is tomorrow and the fashion show is on Friday during lunch break in the Blackbox Theater. Bye." With that Cat ran off.

"You're only doing this so I can't wear the beautiful last dress." Tori complained when Cat was out of earshot.

"Of course, you know how much I love it when you feel bad." Jade smirked and took a sip of her coffee.

The next day during lunch break Beck made his way to the Blackbox Theater with two coffees in hand. Jade had told him that she would be there for the fitting and he should come and bring her a coffee. He was slightly surprised when he saw Robbie standing in front of the entrance door. When he only raised an eyebrow at him, Robbie explained.

"Cat asked me to make sure that no one walks in on them while they are trying the dresses on."

Beck smiled at him. Of course would Robbie do something like that for Cat. Pulling out his phone, Beck texted Jade that he had her coffee. A few minutes later the door opened a tiny crack, almost hitting Robbie in the back.

"Where is my coffee?"

Beck noticed that her make-up was different from this morning and she looked slightly annoyed.

"Hello to you too, babe." Beck moved closer and softly kissed her. "How is it going?"

"Better since Cat stopped doing our make-up and finally letting us do it ourselves. Wait for me here, I'll be out in a few." With that she took the coffee out of his hands, gave him a small peck on the lips and closed the door.

"Well that went well." Beck shrugged and leaned against the wall.

"Cat is even worse right now. She is so nervous and I wish that I could do something to help her." Robbie spoke up.

"Don't worry you're already helping her and I'm sure that she appreciates it." Beck reassured him.

During the next few days Beck realized that Robbie was right, Cat was indeed very nervous which resulted in a very annoyed Jade. When Friday finally came around everyone was more than ready for the normal peace in their group, well as peaceful as it could get. Beck, Robbie and Andre had promised the girls that they would come to see the show, but they were still surprised when they entered the Blackbox Theater and found a lot of people there who didn't belong in Cat's class, most of them guys.

"Seems like they all came here to watch the girls and I can't blame them." Andre mused, looking around.

Beck just shrugged. Of course the other guys weren't really interested in the dresses, but watching the girls. If Jade would see that, he was sure that she would scare them away. However right now his girlfriend was getting ready with the other girls in the next room and didn't see any of this.

"It's starting." Robbie said excitedly when the lights went off and only the small stage was lighted. Cat came out first thanking people for coming and announcing the theme of her show. Beck could see her teacher nodding approvingly. The redhead had made such a big secret out of the finished dresses and when he had asked Jade about it, his girlfriend had only told him that he should wait. Despite that all the girls looked good in Cat's dresses, Beck had only eyes for Jade. It seemed that Cat had designed the dresses Jade wore in his girlfriend's usual style and he could only smile at that. No one could understand why Cat and Jade were friends, but Beck knew that they were really best friends. It were small things like these, that always showed Beck just how much the girls really valued the others friendship.

While Robbie smiled reassuringly at Cat, who told the audience with each dress that was presented what had inspired her to make it the way it was, Andre was transfixed by someone on stage. All the girls looked beautiful in the dresses that Cat had created, but one girl stole everyone the show. An uneasy feeling made itself known in Andre's stomach when he realized that it was Jade who made his heart beat faster. This couldn't be happening, not a second time. If he was honest with himself, his feelings for Jade had never gone away completely, but he had been able to suppress them, until now. The second outfit Jade showed off, a short black skirt and green top, made Andre gulp uncomfortably and he tried desperately to remember that Jade had already a boyfriend, who was his best friend and stood right next to him in this moment. However when Jade presented the last dress, a beautiful tight red dress with black on the sides that showed of just the right amount of skin, Andre knew it was no use to deny his attraction to Jade any longer.

"I have to go see Tori." Andre nervously excused himself and left for the room that functioned as backstage.

Beck looked confused after his best friend and shook his head. When Cat announced that the show was ending Beck focused back on the stage were his beautiful girlfriend still stood in a breathtaking dress. It wasn't until then that he started to hear some remarks from the guys around him.

"She can be scary, but man she has great legs."

"I know, she is really hot."

"Dude, I wouldn't mind seeing her in that every day."

"If it wasn't for that mean behavior I would date her."

Beck frowned. Never before had he heard someone comment on his girlfriend like that. However most of the time he was with Jade so maybe that was why he never heard anything like that. If Jade would hear someone talking about her like that, whoever it was would lose their hair to her scissors or a very important part of their body. The small smile, that had found its way on Beck's face while thinking about her reaction, vanished again a few seconds later and his stomach twisted. There was a feeling between anger and worry that he couldn't quite describe, but he felt the sudden need to reassure himself that Jade loved him.

Quickly slipping away from the now departing crowd, Beck made his way to the room that functioned as backstage. However before he could enter he heard a quite familiar voice and stopped in his tracks.

"I can't help it. I'm still in love with her." Beck was confused. His best friend was in love with someone and hadn't told him about it?

"Why? I mean, we sang that song together so you could get over that wonky feeling. You told me that you were over her." Wasn't that Tori's voice?

"I thought I was, but I'm not. Didn't you see how beautiful she looked today, especially in that last dress."

"You can't love Jade, it's just so wrong." Now Beck felt his anger rise. Andre was in love with Jade. Jade West, his girlfriend Jade, the only girl he ever loved.

Beck didn't know what came over him, but the feeling from before, that he refused to call jealousy, took a hold of his heart and he slammed the door open, revealing his two shocked friends.

"You're in love with my girlfriend." It was more a statement than a question and his voice was laced with barely restrained anger.

"Beck, man, I'm not, I meant I didn't I-" Andre stuttered, not able to look his best friend in the eyes.

"He doesn't love Jade. We all know that she is your girlfriend and Andre would never-" Tori tried to help her friend out, but when Beck looked at her and she saw so much anger and jealousy in his eyes she stopped talking. Never before had she seen Beck like this and it made her wonder if Jade was really the only one in their relationship who was capable of being possessive. Since coming to Hollywood Arts Tori had always seen the couple with Beck as the laid-back guy and Jade as the jealous girlfriend. However Jade had never given Beck any reason to be jealous and guys were mostly scared of her so he didn't have to worry. Now that he knew that Andre was in love with Jade, he had a reason to be jealous and it seemed that he didn't appreciate someone looking at his girlfriend the wrong way.

Under his best friend's glare Andre found himself shrinking. All those years he had known Beck, he had never seen him like this, but then again he had never told him before that he was in love with his girlfriend. Andre knew how much Beck loved Jade, they often enough talked about her during their guys nights when they hung out and watched football. It was obvious that Jade loved him just as much, even if Andre knew she hardly told Beck those three important words, but it was all in her gestures. If the musician wasn't so scared right now he would almost laughed about the fact that his best friend really thought that Jade would ever leave him. These two were too much in love with each other to even notice other people in this way. However Andre was shaking in fear, because he couldn't quite gauge this Beck in front of him.

"What's going on here?" Jade's voice interrupted the tense silence.

When Jade entered the room she didn't know what to make of the situation. Andre looked rather wonky and panicked while Tori gave her an uneasy smile. However what made her realize that something must be terribly wrong was the angry look in Beck's eyes. Only once before had she seen that look and that had been when she had told him that her father had said that art was worthless and so was she. Beck had been so angry that he had almost gone over to her father's house to tell him off, because no one was allowed to talk to her like that. Back then she had been able to calm him down, but right now he looked like he was ready to punch someone.

Beck completely ignored Jade's question and just went over to her. All the things those other guys had said and now knowing that his best friend was in love with her worried him. Leaning down he kissed her and for a moment he thought that she wouldn't kiss him back.

Jade's eyes widened slightly, before she closed them and returned the kiss. It was more the kind of kiss she gave him when she thought that another girl was talking too long to him or looking at him the wrong way, so she was surprised that Beck initiated a kiss like this. However who was she to refuse such a passionate kiss from her hot boyfriend, she could always ask him what this was about later. When they pulled away Beck looked deeply into her eyes.

"I love you."

Normally Jade didn't like returning those words, especially not with other people around. It wasn't that she didn't love him, but talking about emotions wasn't her thing and Beck knew that. However the look in his eyes was something she hadn't seen in a long time. There was an insecurity and desperation for her to say those words back that she hadn't seen since he had confessed his love to her for the first time all those years ago. While she was clearly missing something about the situation she couldn't bare to let him suffer, no matter how much she didn't want to be vulnerable in front of others. However before she could say anything, Beck lay a hand on her cheek and looked pleadingly at her.

"Tell me that you love me. Please."

It was rare that Beck was insecure and that worried Jade even more. He never doubted her love and he never asked her to say those words because he was confident that she love him. What had happened here? Whatever it was, she had to find out, but for now she had to make sure that Beck knew that she loved him and only him.

"I love you."

Beck felt his tense shoulders relax slightly and he leaned down to give her a loving kiss. When they pulled away and he faced Andre again, he tightened his arms around her waist. He knew that Jade had already noticed his strange behavior and she would surely ask about it the moment they were alone, but right now he had to focus on telling Andre that Jade was off limits.

Suddenly the door swung open again and Cat entered, bouncing excitedly.

"Come with me, Jadey. My teacher wants to take a closer look at the dress you're wearing. Pleeeeease." Before Jade could protest, Cat grasped her arm and pulled her away.

With Jade out of earshot, Andre decided that now was a good time to explain himself to Beck. Since Jade had told Beck that she loved him, Beck's tense demeanor had lessened and his anger didn't seem as prominent as it had been, so this was his chance. Looking his best friend in the eyes for the first time since he had entered the room, Andre spoke up.

"Look, I would never try getting closer to Jade. She is your girl and I know how much you love her. I would never do that to you, but I can't change the way I feel for her. She is amazing and beautiful and I just can't ignore that. I promise you that I won't try anything and I want you to know that I would never interfere with your relationship."

Beck looked at Andre, searching for any sign that he wasn't honest, but he found none. Hearing those guys talk about his girlfriend and then finding out that his best friend was in love with her, was a lot for one day. Jade was amazing and beautiful and Beck realized now that he wasn't the only one who could see that. Finally he knew why Jade was jealous all the time when other girls talked to him. The thought of losing the one you love to someone else was terrifying and it was even worse when it was someone who was already so close to her. Sighing Beck had to admit that he was jealous and that he could understand Jade a little better now. Andre was honest and he was his best friend, so Beck would forgive him, but that didn't mean that he wouldn't keep a close eye on him when Jade was around.

"It's alright, but I'll keep an eye on you." With that Beck went away to search for Jade.

Tori let out a breath that she hadn't realized she was holding when Beck left. Guys had a strange way of dealing with jealousy, but it seemed like in the end everything had turned out alright.

After Jade had finally gotten away from Cat's teacher, who had inspected the dress she still wore, she made her way to the small room in the back to change. When she came out, now in her usual clothes, she found Beck waiting for her. The moment when he saw her, he smiled and gave her a short kiss. Today he was especially affectionate, not that Jade really minded.

"Want to tell me what all that strange behavior was about?" She greeted him when they pulled away.

"Let's just say that I understand your jealousy a little better now."

"So I take it that some guys really liked Cat's dresses on me." Jade smirked.

"You can say that. You looked gorgeous, babe."

"It seems that you weren't the only who thought that." For once she was the one teasing him and she enjoyed it immensely.

"But I'm the only one who can do this." He smiled before leaning down and kissing her passionately.

Jealousy was really a strange thing, Beck mused when he left the school with Jade's hand securely in his, but the only thing that mattered was that he had a beautiful and amazing girlfriend who loved him as much as he loved her.
