This is my first story where naruto is sent to a parallel universe.
Naruto had just finished the sasuke retrieval mission, and had successfully managed to bring sasuke back.As he walked through the hidden leaf he thought about how is life had been, and realized that he had made mistakes but wouldn't change a moment of it.
But as naruto looked forward he saw a black vortex start to open and a man in an orange mask come out.As the man came out he said,"Cone with me without a struggle and your death will be quick."
"Hell no"
As the last word last word left his mouth he suddenly felt air expel from his lungs.He saw that the man had punched him in the gut before he passed out.
Drip, Drip, Drip
As naruto awoke he found himself in his mindscape as he began walking towards where the kyubi was.As he walked he noticed several differences.For one thing it appeared that the pipes which had previously had a torrent of red energy in them had broken and now only trickles were coming out.As he got to where the kyubi normally was he saw a surprising sight.
He saw as the bars which the kyubi had been locked behind looked like they had been bent and broken beyond repair and the tag that said "seal" had largely degraded.
As he saw the beast he shrieked.It had lost a large amount of size and chakra and looked like it was close to death.As he attempted to approach the beast he felt himself regain consciousness.
As he awoke he saw as there was little life around him just cold rock.He felt as the necklace that he had on had seemingly shrunk and had lost a large amount of color.He began to walk and look around until he heard a loud noise.
Crack
He looked down only to find a horrifying sight.The man who had appeared in front of him had his head crushed under his foot.
As he saw this he ran and ran as far away as he could.Eventually he came to a large body of water surrounding the area which he realized was an island.
As he explored the island he found that while most of it was rock there was a small oasis in the middle of the island.
He realized he would have to either get strong enough to swim to wherever the nearest land mass was or risk it with a boat.He decided that he would train either way.
1 month time skip.
Naruto had been stuck here and trained for one month straight.He managed to drastically increase his skills.
His speed had reached high chunin level.
His Chakra control had reached mid chunin level
His chakra had grown even more to the point that it was 20% greater than what it previously was.
His strength and stamina had both increased to High chunin and High Jonin levels respectively.
All of his ninjutsus were drastically improved and perfected.
He could now make rasengans with one hand and make 2 at once.
It was after all of his improvement that he decided to try and build a raft to reach the main land.
He used the wind to judge where the main land would likely be and set out on a decently made small boat.He had relied on using his chakra to propel it.
As he set out to the main land he hoped nothing large had changed while he was gone.
2 weeks later
He was close to approaching the mainland as he thought about what first to do.
His chakra reserves and stamina had grew vastly during the trip to the mainland.
As he finally made it to the mainland he saw a costal town.
He had stepped foot on the shore and was heading for the town.As he walked through the town he saw that there was a large number of starving people.Ge wondered why no one was surprised a ninja was there until he noticed that he had lost his headband.
As he approached a tavern to ask for directions he was stuck stone cold as he saw a sign.

He remembered that he had graduated in august and it hadn't been a year yet.Meaning he had either spent much longer than he thought on that island or that he was in a different world.
He decided to ask the bartender what he knew about konoha.
The barkeep said,"I know that he 4th hokage is ruling it well but the kyubi attack a little over a decade ago hurt the village bad.
As naruto digested the information he decided to ask for directions to konoha which the barkeep gave him.
As he attempted to leave the town he saw that some guards were blocking his way.The first one said,
"You need to pay the toll to leave or enter the village."
Naruto asked,
"What's the toll"
The guard answered,
"5000 ryo"
As naruto gawked at the answer he knew that force was the only option
As he yelled out
RASENGAN
And charged and took out both of the guards in one fell swoop.
As naruto left he began to tree hop all the way until he got to konoha.
1 week later
It took him one week to get to konoha.
As he approached the gate he said,
"Both my parents were former Shinobi they have trained me, and I wish to become a leaf shinobi."
The guards told him to go to the academy to get registered and that he might be able to join the class which was about to graduate.
As he approached the administrators office in the academy he noticed that there was test results plastered on one of the walls for the next class to graduate.
As he read the names he was instantly shocked as he saw
Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze
Writing 100
Ninjutsu 100
Taijutsu 100
Genjutsu 100
As he nearly fell over he heard someone speaking to him
"Who are you?"
As he looked and saw a old man which he recognized from the principals office to be the administrator before the kyubi attack.
He said,
"I wish to be registered into the graduating class this year.My parents were former shinobi and taught me how to be one."
The man named Fukijawa then asks him,
"Ok what's your name?"
"Ame jinsoku"
"Ok you will need to go through several background checks and then you'll be good to go"
As naruto walked away he was told,
"Come back tomorrow for your first day"
As he made himself a camp in the woods.
As he woke up to the sun he ran to the academy.
Once he got there he was told to go to room 111
As he knocked he heard someone open the door.
"You must be our new student."
"Class welcome our new student, Ame jinsoku"
As he was told where to sit the instructor told him,
"You better be good the genin test is tomorrow."
As he went through his classes he looked at sasuke and naruto2.0 which is what he started calling him and noticed that they were close friends.
As the day came and went he went back to his camp to sleep.
As he woke up he realized that today was the genin test and ran there at mid genin speeds. As he reached the academy he ran to room 111 and realized he was the 9th one there.As the teacher waited before everyone was there to start the tests.
First history, which naruto struggled at since there was minor changes and he didn't pay attention before.
Next was sparring, as he obliterated the civilian child he was fighting with ease.
Finally ninjutsu, where he was asked to show the academy three and any other jutsu that he knew.
He flawlessly displayed the academy three before showing them his personally made technique.

As a vortex surrounded his hand allowing him to carve through hard materials while acting as a defense the only downside being the fact that keeping it contained was chakra heavy and that it wouldn't take much to disperse the outer layer keeping it from just whipping out and draining all of his chakra quickly.
As he waited for the results to be tallied he was being jittery.
He didn't have to wait long as he was given his headband and told to get a ninja ID and to come back in a week for team placements.
