"Jasper don't hang up. I know you're mad at us but I've had a vision. It's about her, your mate."
Who was the lady I could hear on the phone talking to my Jazzy? Why was she calling about me? I had a lot of questions. I stood beside my mate and listened to the conversation he was having with the stranger on the other end of the phone.
"Then speak Alice and don't bullshit me. You know I don't tolerate people lying to me."
Oh my. Jazzy didn't sound happy about talking to this Alice person. Maybe she's a bad lady.
"Don't be like that Jasper. After everything we've been through, I decided to call you with important information concerning your mate."
"Yes, we've been through a lot Alice but we both know it was all lies in the end. We were never mates like everyone had me believe. On top of that family doesn't throw each other away like garbage, in bad times, good times and through disagreements they're there for each other. I appreciate you calling me with information about what you've seen but how do I know that its true? How do I know that this isn't some scheme to make me fall back into the Cullen order or to try and make my mate part of the Cullen family?"
Yep. My mate was upset with the Alice lady. I put my hand on his back and started to lightly draw circles. I rested my cheek on Jasper's chest and began to purr as I continued to draw the circles on his back.
"Well if you're going to be like that I'll just hang up and won't bother calling you ever again no matter what I see!"
"I'm sorry for being abrupt Alice. I'm hurt by what happened with the family but I've realised that the blame isn't all on them. I could have manned up and changed my circumstances at any time. So I'm also upset with myself for not fixing my life earlier." Jasper said calmly while apologising.
"We both made mistakes Jasper. All the Cullens have made mistakes. As much as we like to think we're evolved higher than humans, we still behave like them a lot and make mistakes like them. However you'll want to hear what I have to say Jasper. It's important to both of us."
"Is this about you or is it about my girl?"
"It's not just about me Jasper." Alice said in a small voice.
"Then what's it about Alice?"
"I saw myself finding out who my mate is but it's only after your mate overcomes her inner demons." Alice admitted.
"Is that all you saw?"
"I only saw glimpses of what appears to be your mate's life."
"What did you see Alice?"
"I saw where she got snatched from. It was Westlake Center in Seattle."
"Who did it Alice? Who took her away and did all those horrific things to her?"
I got scared at what the answer could be. I pushed myself further in Jaspers hold and buried my face into his chest.
"I'm sorry Jasper I didn't see who it was. She was there one moment and there was a blur, the next second she was gone so I'm thinking it was vampire or some other kind of supernatural being." Alice apologised.
"How do you know that was where she was taken?"
"I saw your girl as a child standing with her mother but I couldn't see her mothers face. An old lady had fallen and the mother bent down to help the lady up and when she turned back your girl was gone. I knew where it was because there was a sign that said Westlake Center."
"Is that all you saw?" Jazzy asked Alice.
"I couldn't tell what state it was but I saw an abandoned mine opening in a dense forest area. I could hear a river nearby but I couldn't see it. I got the feeling it was remote. I'm sorry Jasper that's all I saw."
"Thank you for the information, Alice. Please call me if you find anything else about my mate or her abductor." Jasper said quietly then ended the call.
"What do we do with the information Alice gave us Jasper?"
"It's not a lot to go on but it's a start. If what Alice told us is true then we at least know where you were abducted from."
"Why wouldn't it be true?" I mumbled into Jasper's chest. I had butterflies flipping around inside of me.
"I don't think she was lying but sometimes Alice only sees flashes of things and it can be hard to grasp what she sees as sometimes the flashes are incredibly quick." Jazzy explained to me.
I felt sad at the information we had found out. I still didn't know who I was or who had taken me away from my mother. I fell into Jaspers arms and began to sob. The next thing I knew we were sitting on the floor and I continued to sob in my mates arms and he continued to rock me gently and making soothing shush sounds. I felt him rubbing circles on my back like I had done for him before.
We remained in the same position for the rest of the night and even after I stopped sobbing Jasper continued to hold me and even sang to me softly.
When we heard a knock on the cabin door Jasper didn't put me down, he kept me wrapped up in his arms and walked over to the door. Jasper opened the door to let our family in and as soon as I saw Irina I started to sob again and reached out for her. Darting forward Irina took me from Jasper and she walked with me to the other room with the rest of the girls following along behind us. The guys left the cabin and went outside to unload the truck with the supplies for the cabin rebuild.
Irina sat down in the corner of the room with me in her lap in the same position I had been with Jasper last night. The rest of the girls sat in front of us and I felt safe knowing nobody could see me because my family had blocked the view. It felt good knowing I was surrounded completely and nobody could get through to me.
"Bella sweetie what happened? Why are you so upset?" Irina whispered.
"The Alice lady called Jazzy last night. She said she had seen something and it was about me. Alice said that she had seen herself finding her mate but it wouldn't be until I overcome my inner demons. I was kidnapped when I was young from Westlake Center in Seattle when my mother took her eyes off of me for a second to help an old lady who had fallen down. Alice also saw my mine in a dense forest area and she heard a river nearby but couldn't see it. She didn't know that state but she believes it was remote." I repeated everything I had overheard when Jasper was talking to Alice on the phone.
Everyone was staring at me in Irinas arms and they were all frozen for a moment. I was starting to panic when they all unfroze.
"Bella, we know where you were taken from. That's a great starting point in finding who you are." Rosey said with excitement.
"This is sad but great news Bella!" Char said in excitement too.
"Isn't that wonderful news Bella? You know where you were kidnapped from." Carmen asked softly.
"I don't know what to do with everything we've found out. I'm a nobody who doesn't know who I am or where I come from. Now I find out I was taken from my mother while she was helping someone." I said sadly.
"First of all, you aren't a nobody. You're Bella Whitlock, you're a survivor who is mated to one of the biggest badasses on the planet. You have a loving family who would do anything for you and you have gifts that people would love to have. So don't ever say you're a nobody again." Rose stated as she folded her arms across her chest.
"Let's go outside and find a shady place to sit and watch our men take the cabin down." Kate suggested.
Irina placed me on my feet and we all stood to go outside. Before I left the room, I grabbed my art kits from the box to take with me. I followed my family outside and we found a shady spot underneath a large tree and we all sat down together.
"Bella I was thinking about something you said about Alices call. You were taken from Westlake center in Seattle. Why don't we take a look at some pictures online of where you were taken from and see if you remember something?" Carmen suggested.
"Do you think that will help?" I asked Carmen.
"I can't say for sure if it will work but it can't hurt to try."
It was then that Petey walked over to us and handed me a box that was wrapped in pretty colours and had a bow on top.
"What's this Petey?"
"Well Little One I made a promise to you that I would buy you a phone and I did. I also got you something else that I thought you would have a lot of fun with."
I saw Jasper suddenly turn his head and look across the yard to where Petey stood in front of me.
"You better not have gone overboard Peter." Jasper called out.
"Now when have I ever gone overboard Jasper? Besides I think that this will help Little One in a variety of ways and it will entertain her too." Petey yelled back.
"I'm trusting you, Captain. Remember what I did last time you went overboard and filled the Cullen house with helium balloons that contained glitter?"
"It was your birthday! I just wanted to celebrate the special occasion. The glitter everywhere was a bonus gift for the vege family that I love so much."
"Peter that glitter got everywhere! It was in my hair all through my clothes and I was washing it out of places I don't even want to talk about." Rosey yelled at Petey.
"I just wanted you to sparkle like the diamond that you are beautiful most wonderful Rose." Petey said sweetly with a smile.
"Well I suppose I can forgive you Peter. It was pretty funny when Edward saw the glitter on his beloved piano and I swear he almost had an aneurysm when he saw it all over and inside his car." Rose said.
"Well it was a job well done then. I better get back to work before the guys come looking for me. Enjoy your present Little One." Petey said before he ran off and back to helping the guys with the cabin.
I looked at the box not knowing what to do with it before Kate leaned forward and gently began to tear the paper. Copying her movements I tore the paper off of the box and placed it on the ground next to me.
"Now you take the lid off of the box." Tanya said softly.
I took the lid off the box and placed it on top of the paper next to me. Looking in the box I saw a folded piece of paper inside on top of my gift.
Dearest Little One,
Inside is the phone I promised you. Its already set up and connected to Jasper's account. I've programmed the numbers for all the Denali's and Whitlocks into the phone. Theres an extra gift in the box for you all set up and ready to be used. If you get confused or need help, just ask one of the girls. They'll be able to help you.
Petey.
Placing the note from Petey on top of the box lid next to me, I took the phone that looked just like Jaspers out of the box and handed it to Char to hold. Looking back in the box there was a shape that looked like a bigger version of my new phone. Gently picking it up I looked to Irina confused.
"Oh Bella, Peter got you an iPad! You gently touch the screen with your finger and you can do all sorts of things on it. It's basically a computer but much smaller. You can go on the internet like we showed you on the computer when we online shopped. It looks like Peter has load the iPad with games too and some of them look like games to help you learn how to write and read." Irina explained.
Touching one of the little pictures a game opened up and the girls took turns explaining to me how to gently trace the letters of words and to read the word out to them afterwards. Another of the games had fish and I would catch the little colourful fish and put the word into a sentence. There was a lot of games that would help me with my learning and there was some that were just fun. I had a lot of fun on the one where you had to fling little angry birds at pigs.
When I was done with the games I pressed on the icon (The girls had to explain to me that the little pictures for the games and apps were called icons) for the internet and I typed in Westlake Center Seattle.
Sitting there scrolling through pictures of the place where I was taken, I froze at one picture when I suddenly had a memory. It was blurred at the edges and I couldn't remember a lot of it. The more I tried to focus on the memory the quicker it seemed to slip away from me. The only thing that was clear was my mother holding my hand and saying, "Remember to always be kind to others. Show compassion and help people whenever you can. You're a Swan and you should be proud of that fact. Your daddy and I love you to the moon and back." Then my mother turned and helped an old lady who had fallen over.
Before I could tell my family what I had remembered I was sucked into another memory. "I've gone through a lot to find you my little Swan. The prophecy stated that: a young girl with the symbol of a swan will grow and become a vessel of great power. The Swan will be capable of immense love and be able will strike terror in the hearts of her enemies. She will be both dead and alive and will bring those who oppose her to their knees. You my little Swan are going to be incredibly powerful and help me to bring a new order to the vampire world. Together with the progeny I'll create will be able to take on those fear mongers in Italy."
I don't know how long I was distracted with my iPad and lost in my memories but when I came back to myself there was a stack of things from the cabin piled up by the truck and my sweet little cabin had been torn down to nothing. Feeling a flood of emotions so powerful I felt like I was drowning I looked toward my Jazzy and noticed that he was looking at me with worry, all of the men in my family had stopped what they were doing and were looking towards where us girls were sitting.
"Jazzy… I remembered something." I whispered before looking down at the ground with tears in my eyes that would never be able to escape.
All of a sudden, all work on clearing the remains of the cabin stopped and all the men ran over to where I sat before Jasper scooped me up and sat with me in his lap.
"What did you remember my mate?" Jasper asked while looking down at me stroking my cheek with his hand.
"I remember myself and my mother just before I was taken. I can't see her face but I remember her holding my hand and saying: "Remember to always be kind to others. "Well we now know what Alice saw was true. We also know where you were snatched from thanks to Alices vision. From your memories I'm starting to suspect that your last name is Swan. Your mother called you a Swan, The Man called you a Swan and a young girl with the symbol of a swan I believe refers to your last name which some people say is the symbol for their family." Jasper explained with patience.
"So we know where I was taken, we think we know what my last name is so isn't there a way that we can look and see how many children were taken from that same place then work out who I am from there?"
I started to giggle when every vampire around me froze and their jaws dropped. So much for being smart, I thought of a way to find out who I am and it clearly wasn't something they thought of.
"You can use my iPad if you want to see if what I thought of will help." I offered holding out my iPad to Irina.
"That's a nice offer Belly Boo but for this I think Jasper will have to call his friend Jenks and ask for his help again. We don't want to alert anyone that we're looking into your background and Jenks knows how to search for something without anyone finding out."
Well that made a lot of sense and to be honest I feel a little scared about finding out who I am but I feel even more scared at not finding out who I am. Now that I know what it feels like to have people who care about me, I don't ever want to go back to the way my life used to be. The man hurt me, he kept me hidden and was only kind to me when he wanted something and I don't ever want to go back to that. I felt a chill at the thought of how my life could have turned out if I hadn't wandered away from my mine to search for food.
"Ok Emmy Bear I understand. I don't want the Man to find me and take me away again. I want to stay here with my family and my Jazzy."
"Baby Girl I wont ever let anyone take you away from us. It makes me angry and sad at the thought of what you went through but at the same time I'm happy that you found your way here. I might not have ever found you if you hadn't of left your mine. I promise I'll spend every day of the rest of our lives showing you the good and wonderful things that exist in this world." Jasper promised me as he stroked my hair.
"And you have the rest of us who will protect and love you for the rest of our days too Bella. We're a stubborn group who when we accept someone into our family, we'll fight to the death to keep them." Irina said with nods of agreement from everybody else.
"Yeah, Belly Boo you belong to us now and I'll pound anyone who tries to take you away into the ground." Emmett said as he slammed his fist into his other hand.
I launched off of Jaspers lap and threw myself at my bear of a brother and wrapped my arms around him, "Thank you for looking after me Emmy Bear. I couldn't ask for a better brother."
"Anytime Belly Boo. You know you can count on me and Rose for anything."
Emmett let me go and I went and sat on the ground next to Jasper. I picked up my iPad and was playing the game where you trace letters and put the word in a sentence. Jasper placed a kiss to my forehead and went back to building the cabin with the rest of the guys. Rosey, Tanya and Kate went to help the guys with the building. Irina, Char and Carmen sat around talking with each other and offering me help when I got stuck on one of my games.
When the light started to turn dark work on the cabin stopped and everyone rejoined us and I looked up to see the frame for the cabin was up already.
"Wow. How did you get so much of the cabin done already?" I asked Jasper in wonder.
"Because of what we are we can move much faster than humans as you know. We don't have to stop for breaks like a human worker would and this isn't the first house that we've built over the years so we know what to do." Jasper said as he took my hand and held it in his. "Are you hungry my love?"
I thought about it before responding, "Not really. I don't feel hungry or the burn in my throat."
"I'm feeling hungry so would you like to come with me or go back to Irinas and I'll meet you there later?" Jazzy asked me.
"I'll go back to Irinas. Is everyone going with you to feed? I'm not sure I can find my way back on my own." I responded in a small voice.
"I'll go back with you Bella. I can feed later." Irina said as she held her hand out to me.
Collecting my iPad, phone and art kits I placed them in the box that Petey gave me and tucked the box under my arm. Placing a soft kiss on Jasper lips I turned and took Irinas hand.
Our group split in two and Emmy Bear, Rosey, Eleazar, Irina and I headed back to the house and Petey, Char, Tanya, Kate, Carmen and Jasper went to find themselves something to eat.
When we got back to the house I sat down in the comfy chair and looked around the room wondering what to do. Emmy Bear and Rose went upstairs to their room and Eleazar went to his office and closed the door.
Irina saw me looking around and said, "I'll be right back." before she ran upstairs. When she came back Irina placed a bag on the table in front of us.
"I thought we could talk and I can answer any questions you have. While we talk, I could do your nails for you." Irina suggested.
"Do my nails?"
Irina held out her hand and showed me her nails and they were a blood red colour, "Some people like to decorate their nails in different colours and patterns. I had my nails done just before I found you. You can go to a business called a salon and get them to do your nails or buy the products and do them at home yourself. I had mine done at a salon but I keep some nail products here at home in case I can't make it to the salon."
"Is it just women that decorate their nails or men too?"
"It's mostly women but more men are starting to do theirs too. All the women in the Denali family have their nails painted and I know Rose has hers done too. I'm not sure about Charlotte."
"Ok, I'd like to have my nails painted too. Yours are pretty." I felt a flutter of excitement at having pretty nails. I wonder what my mate will think of them.
"Ok what colour nails would you like?"
"I can have a different colour to yours? What colours do you have?"
"Look in the bag, I have a lot of colours that you can choose from." Irina explained as she held out the bag to me.
Looking in the bag I gently move bottles around until I found the colour I liked and held it out to Irina as I placed the bag back on the table.
"Midnight blue. Nice choice Bella and I have an idea that will make your nails even prettier."
"Ok Irina, I trust you."
"So Bella do you have anything you want to talk about? Or do you have questions you'd like to ask while it's just us?"
"When will I understand things better? Sometimes I feel stupid when I don't understand something someone has said."
"When that's a hard question to answer. Everyone learns at a different rate but as vampires we learn things faster than a human can. Its also a bonus that as soon as we are taught something once, we're able to remember that immediately and don't forget what we've been taught easily. Humans learn at a slower pace and will have to be taught it over a longer period and have to repeatedly be told the same thing because they might not understand it the first time. I know you'll be able to increase your knowledge extremely quickly, you just have to spend more time reading your books and using the apps on your iPad. All you have to do is ask anyone in our family to help you a little each day and I'm sure your understanding of things will happen quickly." Irina said as she started painting my nails.
"I can use the computer or my iPad to search the internet too."
"Yes, you can. Theres endless amounts of information on the internet. I swear every time I'm on there I learn something new."
"Irina, can I ask how old you are?"
"I don't mind you asking that question Bella. You're family so I'll happily answer the question, but only ask that question if its family or a good friend because for some people it's a sensitive subject especially if you're asking about how they were changed. In my time we didn't really keep track of birthdays so I can't say exactly but I was changed when I was around 20 years old and have been vampire for over 1000 years."
We fell silent while I thought about what Irina told me. Irina finished putting a clear coat on my nails which she told me was called an undercoat. While we waited for that to dry, I thought of another question that I was curious about.
"Irina when I need to purchase something how am I going to pay for it? I haven't any money and I would like to buy something for my Jazzy. I want to surprise my mate with a gift."
"Well I can help you with surprising Jasper with a gift but if you need to buy something usually all you need to do is ask Jasper and he'll get it for you." Irina said as she picked up the midnight blue colour for my nails and began to paint.
"I don't want to keep asking Jasper for things. I don't want him to run out of money. He's already spent a lot on me."
"Bella one thing you have to understand about male vampires is they're highly protective of their mates and are attentive to their mates needs and desires. If you ever need or want something, just ask Jasper and he'll more than likely get it for you. When it comes to money don't worry about Jasper running out of it. He made quite a lot of money when he was with Maria and he invested his money well. Because of that Jasper is extremely rich. He has more money than we could all spend in a lifetime. So don't be afraid to tell him if you want or need something." Irina explained.
"Who's Maria?"
"Maria is Jasper's sire, the one who made him vampire. I won't go into how or why he was changed because that's his story to tell."
"Ok, I'll talk to him about that. As for his money I'll wait until later to talk to him about that too. For now I know if I need to ask for something I don't have to worry that I'm using all of his money."
Irina had finished painting the colour on my nails and we sat waiting for it to dry. I was watching each step of what Irina was doing closely so I could maybe do my own nails one day. When the colour had dried Irina started painting a sparkly topcoat on. When my nails had dried, I sat there in a trance moving my fingers about examining the way my nails sparkled in the sunlight.
"Bella how would you feel about watching a movie while we wait for Jasper and everyone else to get back?"
"What's a movie?"
"It's people who act or pretend to be characters and tell a story. Theres many different kind of movies. Musicals, horror, comedy and cartoons or animation. I'll pick one and if you don't like it, we can always change it."
"I'm sure I'll like whatever you put on Irina. So let's watch a movie together."
Irina put on a movie called Grease and from the moment it started I was mesmerised. It was a love story with catchy songs in it. I'm definitely going to be watching this movie again, many times over.
We were at the part where Sandy and Danny were at a drive in movie when Rosey and Emmy Bear came back downstairs.
"Hell yeah sister. I love this movie! Oh we're doing nails awesome." Rosey said as she sat down and asked Irina if she could borrow some of her nail supplies.
"Sure go ahead I have plenty." Irina answered Rosey.
"Emmy Bear look at what Irina did for me!" I said excitedly as I held out my hand to show my brother.
"Awesome Belly Boo. They look great."
I had an idea but wasn't sure how my new brother would respond. "Emmy Bear…"
"Yeah Bella?"
"Can I paint your nails? I want to practice."
Emmett thought for a moment before answering and holding out his hand, "Sure you can sissy."
I squealed with excitement and chose a pretty colour of polish. Taking my time to remember the various steps that Irina used to do my nails I painted Emmett's nails pausing from time to time to look up at the movie. I was finishing up the topcoat of polish when everybody walked back in from their hunt.
Jasper took a seat next to Emmett and I held up my hand to show my mate how pretty my nails looked.
"Lookey at what Irina did for me my mate!"
"They're beautiful Bella. Did you have fun while we were gone?" Jasper asked.
"I had a lot of fun. Irina did my nails and we talked about stuff, then Emmy Bear and Rosey came downstairs and we watched a movie called Grease which I loved. I asked Emmy Bear if I could practice painting nails and he said yes! Can I paint yours too my mate?"
"You can practice painting nails on me anytime you want Bella. I'm glad you had fun while we were gone."
"Yay! I know what colour I'm going to use." I said as I bounced over to the bag to grab the colour I wanted to use.
"Would you like to watch another movie, Bella?" Irina asked with a smile.
"Oh yes please! I liked Grease very much."
"Ok. The next movie I'll put on is the first in a series of movies. This movie has a huge fan base and some people like it so much that they dress up as the characters and act out parts of the movie." Irina explained.
Painting Jaspers nails took much longer than Emmett's because I kept pausing and watching the movie about a boy called Harry Potter.
"Jazzy are witches and wizards real? Can I go to Hogwarts?"
"There are many different kinds of supernatural beings in our world Bella, witches and wizards are one of them but as far as I know there isn't a magic school like in the movie." Jasper said as I continued painting his nails.
"All done with your nails. What do you think Jazzy?" I asked hoping he liked them. I felt proud of myself thinking I had done a good job on both his and Emmy Bears nails. For my first time working on nails I was confident I had done it right.
"I think you did a wonderful job Bella and I love the colour you picked. I'll let you practice on me again anytime you want." Jasper said giving me a kiss on my lips. "I'm so proud of you, my mate."
"What colour did you get Jasper?" Emmett asked leaning over Jasper's shoulder to get a look at his nails. "Aww man you got black polish that's nowhere near as cool as the colour that Belly Boo picked for me."
I giggled as Emmett held up his hot pink nails and waggled them in Jasper's face. Sitting down on Jaspers lap I snuggled into his chest and watched the rest of the movie. I loved the movie so much we spent the next day watching all the movies in the series one after the other. From time to time I would move who I sat with and would snuggle up beside each of my family members.
When we finished the movies, I looked at Irina and said, "Wow. I kind of feel like Harry in a way. I had a bad start in life and felt like I was a nobody and then all of a sudden, this whole new world that I didn't know exists opens up to me. I'm discovering all these new things and I have a whole new family that would fight to the death for me. If Harry can change and accept everything he did I know I can too."
"That's a wonderful way to see the world, Bella. I have total faith that you can achieve anything that you set your mind to." Eleazar said smiling.
"Hey, Bella. I had a wonderful idea. Why don't we go for a swim in the pool?" Tanya suggested.
"I've never swam in a pool before but I'd love to give it a try."
Everyone separated and went to get changed into clothes that they could swim in. I walked upstairs with Tanya and she showed me a variety of things that I could choose to swim in.
"These are called swimsuits, bathers or bikinis. Do you want to cover your scars or are you ok with them being seen because I have a couple of different options you can chose from depending on your comfort level" Tanya offered quietly.
"I don't mind them being seen by people. They make me a little sad that The Man hurt me but as I've been told recently, I'm a survivor. I'm the mate of Jasper Whitlock and I want to show the world how brave I can be."
"And you're doing that incredibly well Bella. After what you've been through a lot of people would hide away from the world but you're standing tall and taking everything that is thrown at you. I'm proud to count you as a member of my family." Tanya said as she hugged me.
I put on the little bikini that Tanya handed me and liked it immediately. It was white with red dots all over it and had something that Tanya called ruffles along the edges.
"Bella, you look wonderful in that bikini. Jasper is going to love seeing you in that." Tanya said as she got changed into her bikini that was red, white and blue.
After we had changed, I followed Tanya back downstairs and outside to the pool that was inside the house but the end of it was outside in the yard. On the way downstairs Tanya had explained that the pool was heated so they could enjoy it all year round and if the weather wasn't great, they could still use the pool.
When we walked outside where everybody was waiting, I saw Jasper's jaw drop when his eyes landed on me. Walking over to me Jasper placed a hand on both sides of my face and started putting little kisses all over my face that caused me to start giggling.
"Do you like what I'm wearing my mate?"
"I love what you're wearing Bella, you look so beautiful I can't stop kissing you." Jasper said as he wrapped me in his arms and placed a lingering kiss on my lips.
Taking me by the hand Japer walked over to the edge of the pool before scooping me up suddenly and jumping into the water. Everyone else jumped in and started splashing about. Emmett dove under the water and kept trying to pull other people under the water in sneak attacks. Jasper placed me on the edge of the pool before he dove under and attacked Emmett. When Jazzy came back up he quickly jumped out of the pool and started running with something held in his hand. When Emmett stood up wiping the water from his face he looked around and saw Jasper running and quickly jumped out and began to chase Jazzy.
I started laughing so hard that if I was human, I would have had trouble breathing. Jasper had somehow stolen Emmett's swimsuit from him and now my brother bear was chasing after my mate with his manhood swinging wildly from the speed he was going.
"Get back here Jasper and give me my swimsuit back. You know I get in trouble when I run around with little Emmett on full display."
Rosey slipped gracefully from the water and joined me sitting at the side of the pool.
"To be fair he doesn't get in trouble for being naked. He gets in trouble for where he chooses to run around in the nude. If he could, he would run around all day with nothing on. He really has no shame." Rosey explained to me as we watched our mates run around.
When Emmett tackled Jasper to the ground it left a deep hole in the ground. I looked up alarmed that Jasper had been hurt but he quickly flipped Emmett off of him and picked my brother up tossing him into the pool before diving in himself.
"Don't worry about Jasper being hurt Bella. When he and Emmett get together, they tend to act like children. They love to play fight and pull pranks on each other a lot. It's the same with Peter." Charlotte explained as he joined Rosey and me at the side of the pool.
All of the women reclined on the chairs at the side of the pool and watched as the men started some kind of water war game in the pool. When they got bored of that Emmett jumped out of the water and scooped me up.
"Come be my partner belly. We're going to team up and play a game in the pool."
Everybody quickly paired up and jumped in the water. I was placed on Emmett's shoulders and Rosey was on Jaspers shoulders. Everyone started trying to push each other off of their partners shoulders and we all had a lot of fun. We switched partners occasionally and the game lasted for hours because we were all enjoying our time together.
I had a wonderful time with my family and hoped that there would be lots of days like this in the future. Where we could just be together and enjoy each other's company.
My life quickly fell into a routine of educational lessons with someone different each day, watching my family work on my cabin, feeding and discovering a new hobby each day. We were happy spending time together and spending time alone with our mates or another member of the family.
A week later my cabin was finally finished and we were going to see how it turned out. Jasper had wanted to surprise me so I had no idea how the inside looked. My sisters had kept me busy while my brothers had taken care of the inside of the cabin.
Walking up the steps of the cabin we paused outside of the door and Jasper took my hand.
"Bella, I wanted to put a blindfold on you to surprise you with the reveal of the cabin but I thought that might bring back memories of your past so I ask that you keep your eyes closed and don't open them until I say you can. I'll lead you into the cabin safely I just ask that you trust that I won't hurt you in any way." Jasper asked.
"I trust you my mate and thank you for being cautious with my limitations."
"Ok now close your eyes and I'll show you your new home." Jasper said taking my hand and leading me through the door into the cabin. We took a dozen steps inside and I felt Jasper bring me to a stop. "Ok Bella you can open your eyes now."
When I opened my eyes, I gasped because of how different the cabin looked from before. Most of the bottom floor was wide open. You could see nearly all of the ground floor from where we stood. There was a fireplace over to my left with a lone photo in a frame on the mantle. The photo was of our family together and had been taken the day we had our pool party.
With my hand still in Jaspers, he led me to the one room at the back of the house and when we walked in, I saw the big table I had liked so much in the old cabin. There was a large black sink over in the corner and a refrigerator in between two large benches. The kitchen was large and had light yellow curtains with white flowers on them billowing gently from the breeze coming in the large window that was over the sink. On the other side of the room was a door that led outside to the back of the house.
"Do you like your cabin so far Bella?"
"Like it, no. I love it so far. I couldn't have pictured it any better than what you've done for me. Can we go look upstairs and see what you've done up there?"
"I'm glad you like it my Bella. I have a surprise for you upstairs that I'm hoping you like. I put a lot of work into it and tried to make it something that you'll love spending time in." Jasper said before leading me up the stairs and straight down the hall to the room at the end.
When the door opened, I saw the large room beyond the door would be a bedroom. There were light white curtains moving gently at the window and across from the window was large double doors that opened out onto a balcony with a view of the forest beyond. Walking back into the room I saw another door and let go of Jaspers hand to open it and explore inside. Inside was a beautiful white bathroom with a large shower with glass doors enclosing it in its own small area. On one side of the bathroom there was a large bath that could easily fit two people standing on what look looks like clawed feet. Along the other wall was a long bench with two small sinks with cabinet space and drawers underneath the bench. On the wall over the bench was one very long mirror that took up almost the whole wall. As I was turning to leave the bathroom, I saw a vase of pretty windflowers sitting on the bench beside one of the sinks. Stopping to smell the flowers I felt a large smile spread across my face and I felt happy tears that would never fall fill my eyes.
I left the bathroom and walked into Jaspers arms, "Thank you so much Jazzy. You've managed to pull another image of what I pictured from my head. The flowers were a wonderful touch."
"I'm glad you like it my love. Our sisters had a lot of input on how to do the bathroom, they said you've mentioned that you like the bathroom in Irinas room so I got it as close as I could to that one."
"I love it. I'll have to thank our brothers and sisters when we go back to Irinas house."
The next room was a smaller room for if we had a guest stay with us and the only thing in there at the moment was a framed picture on a wall of a lone rowboat on a large lake. The second last room was a simple bathroom for guests, it had a vase of the same flowers as in my bathroom beside the one sink.
When we got to the door of the last room we paused outside the door and Jasper turned to me and took both of my hands in his and looked deep into my eyes.
"Before we go in, I want to say something to you. I had an idea for this room that I hope you'll love as much as I'm beginning to love you. I tried to consider your tastes and hobbies when I designed this room but if there's anything that you would like to change id be happy to help you fix it to your liking."
Placing my hands on Jaspers face I looked back him and placed a small kiss on his lips before speaking, "Jasper I will love anything you've done for me. I couldn't ask for a better mate and friend than you."
Turning to the door with Jasper behind me I turned the handle and pushed the door open slowly, when I saw what it was inside it took my breath away….

I've had to face trolls before and they don't bother me but this person had so much hate in their words it shook me for a second.
