"So will you." According to George.

"Thanks. "Are you prepared to look at spiders again?" Carlos states.

"Um...sure I think so." George remarks as he walks back to the terrarium, gulping anxiously. This isn't all that horrible. They're still awful and repulsive creatures, but I have a newfound respect for them.

"That's great." Emma states.

"To be honest I'm glad your brother isn't here or he would tease me about my spider fear and I do NOT need that from him." According to George.

"Don't worry about it. He'll never find out. I have your back. Always." Emma states.

"Thanks Emma." According to George.

They then proceed to the Naturalist Center.

"Wow, all of these creatures are fantastic. Oh, how I adore science. If only Phoebe Nachee was present. She may perform some calculations and explain how to learn more about these species. She'd be an excellent partner." Logan states.

"You know I'm standing right here right?" Camille explains.

"Oh, you know you're my girl. You are the coolest girl in the world, and Phoebe is incredible, but you are as well." Logan chuckles awkwardly.

"You're lucky you're cute." Camille says, laughing and ruffling his hair*

"Camille "Sometimes I think he loves Phoebe more than you." Logan throws a punch on Kendall's arm. "Ow! I was joking, buddy."

"I'm aware. Sorry." Logan states.

"Look at all these amazing books and magazines, Logan." This is a heaven." According to George.

"Why are you two geeking out?" Katie smacks James in the arm. "Ow! I did not refer to them as geeks! I wondered as to why they were so excited! Everything I say now sounds horrible to you?"

She only grunts and punches his arm once again.

"Ow! That is extremely painful. Okay, I know I offended you, but please stop beating me." He pleads with her.

"Katie come here please." Kendall says this while kneeling down at her level. "I know you're upset with him. I am as well, but violence is never the solution. Ok?"

She sighs and nods, then goes away, glaring at James.

"Thank you, Kendall. "Why did you do that for me?" James states.

"Brothers stick together. Even if they do something nasty to their sister. She's ten, bro. Whatever she has in store for you in Los Angeles won't kill you, but you'll probably wish you were dead." Kendall states.

"Um..thanks I think." James is at a loss for words.

"Hey, there's many of stuff for us to do. "All ages." Kenny says.

"Unleashing my artistic prowess, I've been a master of the craft since my kindergarten days, although I did face some repercussions for my daring escapades with the notorious safety scissors," Carlos exclaimed with a mischievous glint in his eye.

Max chuckled in agreement, understanding the boldness that Carlos possessed in his artistic endeavors.

Embarking on a thrilling journey, they immersively indulged in a captivating scavenger hunt, indulged in lively games, and eagerly speculated on the enigmatic contents of the mystery box. Eventually, an exquisite chance presented itself to observe the enthralling assortment of species residing within the chamber.

Once outside, their curiosity pulled them towards the enchanting exhibits of the esteemed Osher Rainforest. Mesmerized by the ethereal beauty, they marveled at the enchanting Grainy Cochran Frog, aptly named for its transparent belly that unveiled the intricate details of bones and organs. The majestic Outstalet's Chameleon, proudly displaying its vibrant hues, captivated their attention as the second largest chameleon in existence. Finally, their eyes fell upon the captivating Golden Mantella, a bewitching frog known for its venomous nature, and the resplendent Blue-Necked Tanager, a striking avian beauty that graced the rainforest with its presence.

"You're going to love this plant, Carlos." It produces something that many people desire. This plant is called Theobroma caco." Logan states.

"I don't understand." Carlos responds befuddled.

"I used the Latin term." That is the scientific method of determining it." Logan elaborates.

"But I don't know what you said." Carlos states.

"All right, I'll break it down for you. What do you believe the word cocoa means? Consider your choices carefully. It's a food product." Logan states.

"This is hard." Carlos states.

"It's a brown color." It can come in a variety of shapes and sizes. It might even be a beverage. What's a fun drink you can make in the winter?" Logan states.

"Behold the elixir of the gods," Carlos exclaims with a sparkle in his eyes, savoring his hot coco dreams.

Logan throws a challenging question, his voice laced with intrigue. "Tell me, my friend, what divine creation do you reckon this plant originates from?"

Carlos, buzzing with anticipation, responds eagerly, a glimmer of hope in his voice. "Could it be a coco plant?" he asks, desperately hoping his answer is right.

Without missing a beat, Logan confirms, his words painting a vivid picture. "Precisely. The theobroma cacao plant, my dear friend, is the sacred source of chocolate itself."

Carlos's voice gets lost in his excitement, a symphony of delight. "No way! That's utterly mind-blowing!" he exclaims, unable to contain his jubilation.

Agreeing wholeheartedly, Logan nods in appreciation. "Indeed, my friend, it is a marvel to behold."

Interrupting their discussion, Miss Collins offers her praise, mindful of Carlos's learning process. "Logan, your patience and adept explanation are commendable. Teaching Carlos can be an uphill battle, and you handle it with grace."

Logan's response is accompanied by an exhausted sigh. "Patience is a virtue I've mastered, for I have the privilege of sharing a home with him."

Everyone goes to the cafe for lunch.

James spots a slice of chocolate cake at the desert bar, but Katie snags it, snarls at him, and goes away. He grumbles and takes a strawberry jell-o before heading to his table.

"Our princessà is being very um...toxic towards you isn't she?" Carlos inquires, sympathetically looking at him.

"Yeah she sure is." James sighs.

"You want me to talk to her?" Carlos generously offers.

"What good will that do?" James states.

"Maybe she'll ease up on her anger towards you." Carlos expresses himself.

"That's not going to happen." Her face was filled with fury and betrayal when I saw it. I know I've made mistakes and made her angry before, and she's forgiven me, but I doubt she'll ever forgive me for this. I completely messed up this time. I reacted terribly. I just view her as a little girl, and when she started hanging out with Jesse, something in me snapped, and I felt obligated to protect her, but I went way crazy, and she actually stated she hates me."

Heaves into his hands.

"I adore that adorable munchkin. I can't live in a world where she despises me and refuses to speak to me." According to James.

"Well I know deep down inside she still loves you dearly." Carlos states.

"I don't believe that at all. "I'm screwed." According to James.

They return to the hotel after lunch.

In BTR's quarters.

After a long day, the boys are unwinding. Be prepared for James. He's walking back and forth uncomfortably.

"Uh..James if you keep doing that you're going to make a hole in the floor." Kendall said.

"I can't help myself. I'm in a pickle here! "Take a step back!" James loses his cool.

"Wait a minute, dude." I'm currently reading a hockey magazine. I'm not the one who irritated Katie. You certainly are." Kendall says calmly but clearly frustrated with how his friend is treating him.

Logan stops James from lunging at him.

"What's the matter with you, James?! He was absolutely correct! "Now, relax!"

"I'm a beast. I apologize, Kendall. I'm very sorry." James says as he shuts himself away in the closet.

After a few hours, it's time for dinner, and James refuses to leave the room. He's only convinced once Olivia says she'll sit with him.

Unfortunately for him, he is seated next to Jesse and across from Katie. She continues to stare at the towering brunette, which makes everything awkward.

"Um..Katie could you pass the salt please?" Tyler expresses his concern.

"Here you go buddy." Katie says, as she's handing it to him.

Tyler says, "Thank you."

"You're welcome." Katie states.

"Can you please pass the salt Tyler?" After clearing his throat, James inquires.

"Um…" Tyler looks at Katie, unsure what to do.

"I've got this." Katie says, and instead offers James pepper.

"This isn't salt, Katie. "I'd like the salt." James expresses his frustration with her harsh treatment of him.

Katie pretends to hand it to him before putting it out of his reach.

"Come on, Katie. Just give me the salt." James pleads with.

She gives him an angry glare and refuses to listen to him.

He simply sighs in hopelessness.

"James, my dear friend, feel free to sprinkle some salt magic on your dish," Olivia whispers, passing the salt shaker with a mischievous smile.

"Much obliged, Olivia," James responds politely, accepting the seasoning with a grateful nod.

After the delectable feast, the night casts its peaceful spell and everyone retreats to their private sanctuaries.

Within the confines of BTR'S Room, James tosses and turns, unable to find solace in slumber. Seeking comfort, he tiptoes over to Logan's resting place, his light footsteps barely audible. "Logan, rise from your dreamy repose, for I am in need of your counsel," he murmurs, gently shaking his fellow brunette. Startled, Logan readies to release a shriek, only to have James swiftly cover his mouth, calming his nerves.

"Fear not, my friend, for it is only I," James whispers soothingly, motioning towards the living room.

"Good heavens, man! You nearly set off my heart alarm! Do you even grasp the late hour? I indeed mistook you for Carlos! Speak your mind quickly!" Logan exclaims, his voice brimming with agitation.

"Haha, you've certainly woken up on the wrong side of the bed, Logan," James chuckles, attempting to alleviate the tension.

"Oh, I wonder why that could be!" Logan retorts sarcastically, fighting to lower his voice in order to avoid awakening Kendall and Carlos.

With a nervous laugh, James apologized for the intrusion. "I am so sorry for waking you up in the middle of the night, but I just cannot seem to find any sleep. I feel lost and don't know what to do," he admitted.

Logan, visibly irritated, interrupted with a sigh, "So, you thought it would be a brilliant idea to drag me out of my incredibly comfortable bed just because you can't find sleep? It's 3:30 in the morning, for crying out loud!"

Desperate for advice, James pleaded, "Please, tell me what to do."

Reluctantly, Logan finally offered some advice but couldn't hide his annoyance, "Alright, fine. Here's some advice you should have thought of on your own. Watch TV, read a book, listen to relaxing music, count sheep, or even try drinking warm milk. But let me be crystal clear- do not disturb my sleep ever again!" Logan's red, sleep-deprived eyes glared at him.

Acknowledging the warning, James replied, "I understand."

"Good." Logan yawned, signaling his return to bed.

Eventually, after watching the news since none of his favorite shows were on, James succumbed to sleep on the couch. Startled by his own unconsciousness, he hurriedly made his way back to his own bed.

Thursday, early in the morning.

BTR exits their room to eat breakfast downstairs. George and the other boys are both exiting their room at the same time. Jesse sees James and dashes down the hallway leading to the elevators.

He hurriedly gets his food and departs the line before James can get in it.

He eats quickly so he can return upstairs.

"I'm not going to hurt you." According to James.

"I'm not sure what you're going to do. You're wildly unpredictable." Jesse exclaims as he dashes to the elevator.

"Oh my goodness, the poor kid is afraid of you. This isn't working, James. He's a helpless victim of your fury. And don't blame it on your father. Your dad may be largely to blame for your anger issues, but some of it is simply your fault." Kendall explains.

"I understand," James says.

"And then there's the whole Katie thing." When will it be over, James? You did not irritate just any little girl. You irritated my younger sister, and my feelings, like hers, are hurt. You know I'll always love you like a brother, but man, you've got yourself in a bind." Kendall explains.

"I dread the thought of your mom's eternal wrath befalling upon me. The mere idea sends chills down my spine. I cannot bear her anger directed at me," James confesses.

"Ah, that's the least of your concerns, my friend. Your main focus should be finding Katie in a favorable state of mind, so that at least you can have a conversation with her," Kendall advises.

"But she won't listen to me. She despises me. It's crystal clear. Besides, she's punishing me with the cold shoulder," James laments.

"Listen, all I'm suggesting is to do something genuinely thoughtful for her. Something that would truly resonate," Kendall suggests.

"Like what? I'm clueless when it comes to deciphering a girl's desires," James says, shrugging helplessly.

"You've known her since she was a baby. You've got years of experience under your belt," Kendall points out.

"I understand that, but what do ten-year-old girls even appreciate in this bewildering era of ever-advancing technology?" James questions.

"Well, she's developed a strong interest in science lately, thanks to Logan's brilliant influence. You'll come up with something, believe me," Kendall assures.

As they step into the elevator, their minds continue to brainstorm ideas.

The bus ride to the museum has been halted due to traffic, and everyone is becoming agitated and bored.

"This traffic is taking forever." How long have we been here? "One hour?" Carlos lets out an exasperated groan.

"Five minutes have passed. Relax." Logan states.

"But I'm so bored." Carlos states.

"Well find a way to entertain yourself." Logan states.

"Can you play ISPY with me please, please, please?" Carlos states.

"Carlos, that's a kid's game." I'm going to do some sudoku." Logan expresses his need for some peace and quiet in the face of his friend's childish temperament.

"But it's not fun playing ISPY alone." Carlos says, giving him puppy dog looks, knowing he won't refuse him.

"All right, I'll play ONE game with you, then I'll do my sudoku puzzle." Deal?" Logan lets out a sigh.

"Deal. Logie, you're the greatest." Carlos embraces him.

"Thank you, buddy. "You're choking me, amigo." Logan says, his voice raspy.

"Sorry." Carlos says before letting go.

"All right, I'll go first." I glimpse something adorable and lovely on the bus." Logan states.

"Is it a person?" Carlos inquires.

Logan confirms, "Yeah."

"Mi amiga Camille y tu amor!" Carlos exclaims with glee.

"That's right, Carlos. Excellent work." Logan states.

"Can you tell me what happened?" My name was blended together with Spanish." Camille says this as she raises her head from a teen adventure novel she brought with her to read.

"We're just playing ISPY and you were the subject." Logan explains while smiling at her.

"Awww, that's really sweet, and I just realized what he said." That makes it even better." Camille explains.

Carlos questioned Camille about her ability to speak Spanish. He expressed disbelief, assuming that she could never understand him when he spoke the language.

Camille responded with amusement, sharing a funny anecdote. She revealed that Romeo, a frequent companion on their dates, spoke Spanish so often that she had naturally picked it up.

Logan chimed in, mentioning that all he had ever said to Camille in Spanish was "mi amor" (my love).

Camille acknowledged this but explained that she had managed to piece together the rest of what Romeo said, allowing her to understand the full sentence.

Impressed by her linguistic skills, Logan praised Camille as the coolest girl in the world.

Carlos then changed the topic, initiating his turn to play a game of "I spy." He described something delicious, on a stick, and brown in color.

Logan, feeling a bit exasperated, quickly identified the object as a corn dog. He pointed towards a stand selling corn dogs located on a nearby sidewalk.

Carlos acknowledged that it was indeed an easy one and suggested playing another round.

However, Logan reminded Carlos of their agreement to play only one game.

Recognizing the importance of keeping their word, Carlos conceded, admitting that a deal is a deal. He acknowledged the good game they had played.

Impressed by Carlos' sportsmanship, Logan complimented him and returned to working on his Sudoku puzzle.

After some police officers direct traffic, the bus is eventually able to move.

"I wonder what our cats are doing right now." According to George.

Emma speculates, "Probably sleeping."

"Or playing." Olivia states.

"I know mine shouldn't be on my bed." I specifically instructed them not to play or sleep on my bed when I am not present. And I'll find out if they have." According to George.

"Why don't you trust them?" Emma inquires.

"What's the problem?" Olivia inquires.

"Sometimes Ozzie gets a little rough, and his claws can do a lot of damage, and I just don't want anything ruined when I come back." I have faith in Athena. I've noticed that she's far smarter than him as well as easier to train. She's my precious little baby angel. I now understand how much joy it was to have a female cat. They're simply amazing." According to George.

"Definitely right." Olivia states.

"Certainly," Emma responds.

"Emma, I'll be very happy to help Daniel out with whatever crisis he's having with Spike but first he's got to apologize for the rude wake up call." According to George.

"Don't worry, he'll make amends." Because if he doesn't, he'll be grounded again, and this time I won't be there to help him out like I did last week." Emma states.

"You're a wonderful sister, Emma." I'm curious about what my older sister would be like if I had one. Or an older brother. "I'm hoping I'll be treated fairly." According to George.

"I'm sure you would have the best older brothers or sisters ever." Emma states.

"Your older brother hasn't been the best recently." George makes a point.

"I know, but I believe he wants to try harder." I can see why he is so protective and relentless." Emma states.

"If only he took the time to truly understand who I am, rather than passing judgment so hastily, I could see myself becoming his friend. However, mere moments after our introduction, he seemed determined to ensure I remained separate from your life," George laments, releasing a weary sigh. "All I desire is for him to accept me, to trust that you would choose me as your companion, and to release himself from this constant state of paranoia. It pains me to witness his anger and stress; surely, such emotions cannot be healthy in the long run."

"You're absolutely right. We must find a way to alleviate the tension that exists between the both of you," Emma assures.

"Perhaps spending an entire day in his company would serve as a remedy," Olivia suggests, a glimmer of hope in her voice.

"I highly doubt he'd ever consent to that. He's got this whole persona of being the epitome of cool, and he already views me as a bit too quirky. If I were to accompany him in public, I'm sure I'd throw off his vibe completely. Besides, there's something about him that scares me a little. I'd rather not find myself alone with him, especially since I have no idea about the kind of friends he hangs out with. Who knows, he might even rally them against me. How would I even defend myself? Truth is, I've never stepped foot in a gym." George confesses.

Emma curiously asks, "Why not?"

"My mom has always been quite restrictive, and I don't mind it much. She says I could get hurt on those heavy machines, and truth be told, the gym is filled with strangers that I'm not comfortable around. She's definitely got a point. The only guy I know who frequents the Palm Woods gym is James, and man, he's incredibly strong and muscly. It's hopeless for me to even attempt catching up to him. Despite that, I find it baffling how he spends hours on end working out there, considering I've witnessed him lounging on the couch, engrossed in video games and devouring junk food. Always thought he was a fitness-obsessed thrill-seeker." George muses.
