Controlled chaos forger of worlds
Chapter 11
Harry launched into the air, flying over the island. As he soared through the mist, Firehair joined him, then locks flowing behind her, her toga billowing around her.
"You sensed the intruders, too?"
Firehair shook her head, "No, there is a soul out to be on the mist that needs my help."
Clearing the mist, Harry's eyes narrowed as he spotted Morgan Le Fay and Ariana Dumbledore hovering in the air.
Sensing his change in emotions, Firehair turned to him, "Do you know these two?"
"The dark-haired woman is a half-Fay who despises mutants because of our unique abilities."
"Half-Fay?" Firehair questioned, curiosity shining in her Emerald eyes.
"They are a species that is innately magical; they are also long-lived and known for being tricksters."
Firehair nodded slowly, her eyes flickering to the blonde beside Morgan, "And the other?"
"She is Ariana Dumbledore, the woman who killed me."
"Then maybe I should thank her."
Harry raised an eyebrow.
A smile curled Firehair's red lips, "If she wouldn't have killed you, then we wouldn't have met, and my world would have been saved."
"True."
They stopped before Morgan and Ariana.
Harry moved forward slightly ahead of Firehair, his arms folded behind his back. "Morgan," he inclined his head.
Morgan's eyes narrowed, her glowing Emerald eyes a stark contrast against her pale skin, "Do I know you?"
"I'm a little hurt," he nodded at Morgan, "You ordered my death," he nodded at Ariana, "and You killed me at the hospital while I was visiting Luna Lovegood and Tony Stark."
"Speaking of which," he turned to Firehair, "Do you think we should offer Tony and Luna a place on the island?"
"You're asking me," Firehair questioned, her voice soft.
"Besides Gaia, you are the only other that doesn't have preconceived notions about them because of Luna for seeing my death and leading me to it."
Firehair's lips twisted into a frown, "According to your memories, Luna apologized just before you were killed and said that this had to happen. That alludes to her having precognitive visions."
"She already manipulated events once. Could we trust her not to do it again?"
"I don't know; she shed tears at her actions."
"Just because she felt guilt for her actions doesn't mean she wouldn't manipulate events again if she felt it was for the greater good."
Harry shook his head, "I guess we'll have to discuss this more in-depth later." He turned to Morgan, "Why have you come here? I don't have time to debate with you; a contagion has been released across the earth, causing widespread mutations."
Morgan's eyes burned with more bright green energy as her hands clenched at the disrespect she was shown, "I know," she said, her voice tight, "that's why we are here."
"Va-Kox released the contagion."
"Why?"
Firehair spoke up, her irises burning with fire, "Morgan has been working with Kru El and Lesla-Lar to create an army to help her conquer Britain, but Va-Kox got tired of having to wait to have his fun, so he betrayed them. The contagion is unfinished, and Morgan fears it will adapt to affect those with magic."
Harry snorted, "So you have been betrayed and endangered the world. Now you come to the people you hate her help."
Morgan looked away.
"If I am to help you," Harry began, causing Morgan to look at him, "I want a promise from you that you will not attack our islands or any mutant living peacefully."
Morgan and Harry stared at each other for a long moment, "Fine."
"Then say it. Swear on your magic and your Fay blood."
"I, Morgan Le Fay, swear on my magic and Fay blood," Morgan began, her hands clenched, "Never To attack the mutant islands or any mutant living peacefully."
Power exploded from Morgan, washing over the world as reality seemed to ripple.
As Morgan's vow took effect, Firehair shot past Harry, slamming her hand into Ariana's forehead.
Orange energy flared through Ariana's veins from the point of contact. Her body twitched as sparks of magic exploded from her skin, and bits of metal were forced out of her body through her pours.
In the blink of an eye, Ariana collapsed into Firehair's arms.
Wrapping her arms around the blonde, Firehair floated back behind Harry.
Power flared around Morgan, and her hand shot forward.
Wisps of green energy flew from Morgan's fingers, "What have you done?"
Firehair moved beside Harry, "I have broken her free of your bonds and returned her to the flesh she was born in."
Harry threw his arms away from his body, dispersing the magic, "I could sanction you for violating your vow, but just this once, I won't," his eyes began to glow, "now leave."
Morgan stared at them for a long moment before turning away, space folded as she vanished.
Suddenly, Jani's voice sounded in their minds, 'I have the Council.'
Harry turned to the island, "Can you take Ariana to the science Citadel and have her looked over?"
Firehair inclined her head, "Sure, I'll meet you in the Council room shortly."

Thirty minutes later, Harry entered the new octagon-shaped Council room. The walls were made of glass, allowing the occupants to see and remember what they were fighting for.
In the center of the room, sitting at a large table, were Nam, Nadira, Andromeda, Ted, Jani, Kreature, Divine, Jonas Greenleaf, Amelia, Callisto, Firehair, and Gaia, the cosmic mother.
Each of them turned to look at him as he stopped at the head of the table.
"I have brokered a deal with Morgan Le Fay; she has agreed not to attack us or any mutant living peacefully, but we should still be wary of her using proxies."
"Thanks to Firehair," he nodded at the woman, "we now know that Va-Kox Kru El and Leslie Lar created the contagion spreading across the world to create an army that would help them take over the world."
Firehair stood up, "Morgan thought she could use them as pawns to create an army that could help her take back Britain from the, as she called us, which breed. To that end, she allowed them to study her magic and revealed some secrets of the Mystic arts. However, things went awry when Va-Kox released it early. Hence, why it is having such a disastrous effect on the populace."
Andromeda spoke, "If the virus is magically enhanced, it explains its fast activation."
"So," Jani spoke from beside her father, "What do we do?"
"Why do we have to do anything?" Callisto asked.
"As a doctor," Nam began, "I am inclined to help anyone in need. However, as a councilmember, we must justify the risk of revealing ourselves and the expenditure of resources."
Harry cleared his throat, "I believe we need to look into why only certain people are affected by this contagion, but it is the Council's choice," he turned to Gaia, "Have you integrated the Asgardian and Celestial technology taken from yours and Firehair's world?"
Gaia looked around the table, "There is a problem on that front. Though I have been able to merge the technology with the island, crossing over to this world created a core of power that needs to be inserted in someone for the technology to become active."
She locked eyes with everyone, "So this Council needs to choose who will gain control over magical and godlike technology and joined the three of us;" she nodded to Harry and Firehair.
Nam spoke, "The most obvious choice is Divine, but the inhabitants of the island may view that as favoritism."
Divine's eyes widened from where she sat clutching Kreature's hand, and the two shared a look.
"Slowly, she released Kreature's hand and stood to her feet; while I am flattered by the nomination, Kreature and I have recently begun a relationship, and I don't want to ascend to a higher state of being at this time."
Gaia, Firehair, and Harry shared a look before Harry interjected, "That could be even better by splitting the power between you and Kreature. It will lessen the burden on both of you, allowing Kreature to control the magical aspect of technology gained from Asgard while Divine controls the technology acquired from the celestials."
Divine and Kreature looked at each other.
After a moment, Kreature rose and took Divine's hand, "We accept the offer."
"That's all well and good," Callisto said, running a hand through her hair, "but what do we do about the contagion?"
"I have an idea," Harry began, "but first, the Council needs to decide whether they will help."
Nadira's eyes glowed as everyone but Gaia, Firehair, and Harry linked their minds.
The three of them had decided to let the Council decide. Though they would voice their ideas and sometimes exert their powers for the island's safety, they would not partake in voting on most issues.
After a moment, the glow in everyone's eyes faded, and Nadira turned to Harry, "The Council has decided that if there is a genetic difference in the DNA of the people being changed, we will help them."
Harry nodded, "Then I suggest Callisto and Amelia take some of our forces off the island. Callisto will handle those who have turned violent, while Amelia collects the souls and retrieves those who have collapsed. Move as fast as you can without hurting the individuals."
Callisto and Amelia nodded.
Amelia's gaze locked on Harry; he knew she would ask him after this meeting.
"The Council has decided if they are not genetically different from humans, we will cure who we can and keep the DNA of those we can't for future study and use," Nam continued.
Harry looked at Firehair and Gaia.
The two women nodded, "If that is what the Council has decided, we will not intervene."
"Move out within the hour," Harry said before turning his attention to Divine and Kreature, "if you two will come with us, we will help you with your ascension."
The Council rose to their feet and began filing out of the room.
As expected, Amelia stepped before Harry, her eyes hard, "I want my husband back."
"Do this task, and I will take you to get your husband's soul, but be warned, you will have to see him die."
Amelia stared into his eyes, and Harry felt her power probe him, searching for any sign of deceit. After a moment, her power withdrew, "Fine."
–XX –
Two hundred citizens of New Haven rose into the air with Amelia and Callisto in the lead. As they flew away, Gaia, Firehair, and Harry met above New Haven, watching Divine of Juru soar into the air, carrying Kreature Spark with her.
As they came level with them, Harry stretched out his hand.
A pale blue doorway opened in space.
Divine looked around as she carried Kreature inside, "What is this place?"
Stopping before a rounded dais filled with water, Harry turned to look at her, "This is the original point where three universes were reforged and became one. You will be reborn here while we watch the others complete their mission."
"Shouldn't we do more to help them," Kreature asked, staring into it.
Gaia moved to stand beside Harry, "You two will be unconscious after your transformation. Your very being will be changed by the energy you absorb."
Firehair moved to Harry's other side, "Once the transformation begins, we will be moving out to help with the trouble spots, but one of us will always be here to watch over you just in case."
Divine looked to Kreature, "Is there a chance of something going wrong?"
Gaia shook her head, "No, you will be fine; we just feel it would be rude to leave you during your ascension."
Harry looked up as Callisto's team reached the coast, red beams firing from their eyes as they took down those acting violently.
Amelia and her Valkyrie moved as the bodies fell to catch them while Callisto pushed deeper into the country.
He turned to Gaia, "They're starting to move. Do you have it?"
Reaching into her dress, Gaia pulled out an object that constantly shifted, making it impossible to see what it was. However, while you couldn't see what it was, you could see the runes moving across its surface.
Harry waved his hand, causing the dais to sink into the floor as he and Firehair shifted to form a loose circle around Divine and Kreature.
Gaia sent the object to float above the two with an underhanded toss.
Gaia, Firehair, and Harry closed their eyes as it settled into place. Raising their arms, they pressed their palms together.
As one blue-white energy, bright pale green, and orange energy that danced like fire flowed from the three, it spiraled together, sinking into the ever-shifting object.
The shifting shape covered in runes exploded as the power touched it, sending shifting shapes into Divine, while runes spiraled into Kreature like a tornado.
The combined energy of Harry, Gaia, and Firehair washed over the duo, and their bodies shifted beneath it.
Harry reforged the body, Gaia kept their life strong, and Firehair reforged the soul.
After what seemed like an eternity but was only a few minutes, the energy sank into Divine and Kreature, revealing their new forms.
Divine wore black, overlapping metal armor that hugged her body. Silver light shone from the spaces between the plates, and her blue eyes glowed beneath the helm.
Kreature had broadened. Muscles now strained against his gray skin, giving him a sense of power.
His copper-colored hair was tied back in a ponytail, and his molten eyes now held a sense of wisdom.
A silver-colored chest plate adorned his torso, and six runes burned within the metal in two neat lines. Leather pants adorned his legs, the ends of which were tucked into thick-soled boots.
A staff was clutched in his left hand, and electricity crackled in its grooves.
There was silence for a moment before Divine and Kreature crumpled.
Harry caught Kreature, while Gaia caught Divine.
Beds rose from the floor as the two were gently lowered down.
Firehair moved to the head of the bed, placing a hand on each of their foreheads.
"They are fine; their minds are just assimilating the knowledge that comes with the new powers."
Harry nodded before focusing on the two women, "What will you do now?"
Firehair removed her hands from Divine and Kreature's heads.
"I'm going to go help Callisto and Amelia."
"I need to speak with this world's Gaia to integrate myself into this world fully; I need a new identity?"
Harry raised an eyebrow, "Are you sure now is the time?"
"There will always be some crisis. Besides, maybe she can help us raise up a Greenleaf. You know they are going to want a representative."
"Fair enough, I will watch over Genosha until the operation is complete."
Harry and Firehair vanished while Gaia closed her eyes and reached out to the Earth Mother of this world.
