18. Chapter 18

I watch as Bella, Jacob and Charlie order pizza and sit in the living room talking, laughing and joking. It makes me think back to my family. I barely remember much of my life before her but I do remember laughing with my mom. Seeing her eyes crinkle and sparkle in mirth. Watching my dad cheer on the Seahawks and Mariners. I remember the smell of my mom's perfume and the feel of the warm fire in the hearth at Christmas time.

I missed Christmas this year. She didn't think it was a good idea that I go home and see them with everything going on. Best for them to think I died. Let them grieve and move on. After we finish with Bella and her little pup club, she promised that we would be able to go and travel the world together.

I can't believe that I found someone who loves me the way she does. She said she loved me from the moment she saw me.

I hate that I can't be around my family anymore, but the life that she has given me... I wouldn't trade this for anything. The only thing standing in my way is this girl and her dogs.
