There are some forms of alien activity even MIK turns a blind eye to. The truly alien activity between Chupataro and Ohdo Yuhi, for instance.

Chapter 71: Darkness Disorder

Elite Secret Investigator Miss Tery (ATK 2300 ↑ ATK 2600)

Snake Princess of Purity (ATK 2500)

"Two monsters with 2600 ATK and 2500 ATK?"

"By sending the top card of my Deck to the Graveyard, I can activate Snake Princess of Purity's effect. Red-Boot Boost Dragon loses ATK equal to the number of face-up LIGHT-Attribute monsters on my field x 600 until the end of turn! I have Snake Princess of Purity and Miss Tery on my field, so –"

"1200 ATK?" (ATK 2600 ↓ ATK 1400)

"Elite Secret Investigator Miss Tery attacks Red-Boot!"

Yuamu's monster was beset by hearts, but wasn't destroyed. (Yuamu LP 4000 ↓ 2800)

"Hyperplague Virus Blackdust's effect! The equipped monster can't be destroyed by battle, but after it battles, its ATK is reduced to zero until the end of turn!"

"Zero?" (ATK 1400 ↓ ATK 0)

"Snake Princess of Purity attacks Red-Boot!"

"Ahhhhh!" (Yuamu LP 2800 ↓ 300)

Red-Boot Boost Dragon (ATK 0 ↑ ATK 2600)

Ranran was on the edge of her seat (even while standing). "Astounding! Hiramori Mitsuko ends her turn having hewed Ohdo Yuamu's Life Points down to 300! Can Yuamu rebound from the brink of defeat?"

"If she can, she has three turns to do it," Mitsuko warned.

"Eh?"

"Hyperplague Virus Blackdust…In addition to preventing the equipped monster from being destroyed by battle, that monster also can't be released for an Advance Summon."

"EHHH?"

"There's more: Counting both players' turns after activation, the equipped monster shall be destroyed during the third End Phase, and at that time, Red-Boot's original ATK shall be dealt to Yuamu-san as damage!"

"Oh no! Yuamu-san is on a three-turn clock, de gojaru!" Menjaburo yelled into his mic.

The Duel isn't over. Find a solution. You have time to turn this around. Yuamu centered herself. "My turn! I draw! When Mitsuko-chan controls two or more monsters and I control only one, I'm able to activate the Magic Card, Parallel Computing! I send two cards from my hand to the Graveyard, then I'm allowed to Special Summon a monster with the same Level as Red-Boot from my hand!"

"Level 7? CAN IT BE?"

"Super high-speed access with top-notch pairing! Emerging from a sea of electrons, it descends upon us! Come out! Blue-Tooth Burst Dragon!" (Level 7 LIGHT Dragon/Effect ATK 2500 DEF 1500)

Damamu's limbs fanned out like the points of a star. "Awesome!"

"Parallel Computing's effect lowers the ATK of all face-up monsters on the field by half the total ATK of both my monsters until the end of this turn, but I can only attack with Blue-Tooth Burst Dragon! I send the top card of my Deck to the Graveyard to activate Blue-Tooth's effect! All monsters with 1500 or less ATK on Mitsuko-chan's field are destroyed! Mega, giga, tera, peta! Completely wipe this mass of data! It'll only take a second! DATA ERASING OF DESTRUCTION!"

The blue beam from Blue-Tooth's mouth deleted Miss Tery and Snake Princess of Purity.

"Blue-Tooth Burst Dragon's ATK is increased by 300 x the number of destroyed monsters! Attack Mitsuko-chan directly! BURST STREAMING OF DESTRUCTION!" (ATK 0 ↑ ATK 600)

"Gnnn!" (Mitsuko LP 1900 ↓ 1300)

"I set a card! Turn end!"

"This is a big reversal! In just one turn, Yuamu destroys all Mitsuko's monsters! Next turn, if Yuamu attacks with Blue-Tooth and Red-Boot, Mitsuko will –!"

"It won't be so simple! Draw!" Mitsuko drew, but did a triple take.

Did she draw it, chupa?

"I activate the Magic Card, Angel's Charity, drawing three more cards, then sending two cards from my hand to the Graveyard!"

"Three! Three! Three new cards for 3-Metre-san, de gojaru!"

"I summon Alien 33 and Sannomiya Golden G Robo MK-III, and release them to Advance Summon! The embodiment of darkness, Darkness Soul!" (Level 7 DARK Reptile/Effect ATK 2000 DEF 1500)

"Darkness…Soul?" Yuamu grasped her aching head.

"In the future, Yuga-kun played his last Duel against his fated opponent. Then, he was sent here to our past. What if someone else was also sent back? What if he had been sent even farther back in time than Yuga-kun?"

"We know that much. If I remember correctly, that man's name is…"

"Otes."

"O-Otes…"

It seems using this monster with Darkness in its name worked as Chupataro thought it would, Yuamu-san. Now to end this. Mitsuko shuffled three Level 3 Reptile-Type Normal Monsters from her Graveyard – Alien 33, Sannomiya Golden G Robo MK-III, and The Three Warp-Granny Sisters she previously sent for Snake Princess of Purity's requirement – into her Deck. "Magic Card, Third Coming of the Reptilian Count! I Special Summon Snake Princess of Purity back to my field!"

Yuamu strained. "Snake Princess of Purity's ATK is 2500. It isn't enough to get through for lethal damage."

"Equip Magic, Molting Offence! Snake Princess of Purity's Attribute changes to DARK! Darkness Soul attacks!"

"Attacking the 2500 ATK Blue-Tooth Burst Dragon with Darkness Soul, which has 2000 ATK?"

"What kind of tactic is this, de gojaru?"

"When Darkness Soul is destroyed by battle…" Mitsuko winced from the blowback. "All face-down and non-DARK monsters are destroyed!" (Mitsuko LP 1300 ↓ 800)

"No! Blue-Tooth is –!"

"Due to Molting Offence, when a monster of the Attribute I changed Snake Princess of Purity to on my field is destroyed, she gains 600 ATK until the end of turn!" (ATK 2500 ↑ ATK 3100)

"Oyoyo! Yuamu!" Damamu fretted for her.

"Snake Princess of Purity! Attack Red-Boot Boost Dragon!"

"I have my Trap, Emissaries of Harmony! I take no battle damage this turn!"

"An admirable play. Turn end." (ATK 3100 ↓ ATK 2500)

"My turn! I draw!"

"Don't unwind yet, Yuamu-san. When your End Phase comes, Hyperplague Virus Blackdust will cause Red-Boot to self-destruct, dealing you 2400 damage!"

"Even so, Mitsuko-chan…I can't fall here! I summon Applizard and Dragosite, releasing them to Advance Summon a double helping of XSSwurm!" (Level 6 DARK Dragon/Effect ATK 1800 DEF 0)

"Two…"

"I send the top two cards of my Deck to the Graveyard to use my first XSSwurm's effect! XSSwurm's ATK goes up by the monsters sent x 200, and if both cards are monsters, I can send one extra card to the Graveyard! Just my luck though, one of the cards is Dralight Format. But I still have my second XSSwurm's effect! I send another two and – gotcha! – send an extra card! My first XSSwurm's ATK goes up by 200, and my second by 600!"

"Snake Princess of Purity's ATK is 2500! Do you honestly believe a 2000 ATK and 2400 ATK monster can uncrown her?"

"Not in the slightest! I release my XSSwurms! Advance Summon! Shine with a brightness surpassing the sea of 10^68 bits! Draw upon a power even higher! Ten times up! Gacha Gatling Bluetooth Dark Dragon Dymanaraja! (Level 7 DARK Dragon/Effect ATK 2400 DEF 1000)

"Dymanaraja? The monster Yuamu-san summoned against Zuwijo?"

"I return ten monsters from my Graveyard to my Deck to activate Dymanaraja's effect! I send the top ten cards of my Deck to the Graveyard, and until the end of this turn, it gains 200 ATK for each monster sent!" (ATK 2400 ↑ ATK 3800)

"SEVEN OF THEM?"

"Battle! I attack Snake Princess of Purity with Gacha Gatling Bluetooth Dark Dragon Dymanaraja!"

"Mitsu~!" (Mitsuko LP 800 ↓ 0)

"Wait. The way Yuamu was acting and Darkness Drake…They have something to do with Otes?"

"That's what Yuamu said, chupa."

Yuhi stewed about it.

"Not much room in here, chupa."

"You fit, dontcha? I'm sorry if I'm still not used to the idea of makin' out in public!"

"Yeah, but aliens everywhere or not, when people walk past a robot with no head handcuffed with a bike lock to the side of a building, they freak out, cabra!"

"You better go back and get it then."

"Hm? Epoch's opponent is that pipe? It is as good an opponent as any!"

"It's Yudias. I'll see ya later, Chupataro." Yuhi climbed out of the tube, faking he'd just woken up. "Fuwa…That was a good nap. Oh? If my Rush Battler is reactin'…"

"Yuhi! So Epoch's first Duel shall be against my own mentor?"

"Pu-puku-pu!"

"Interesting. Let's go."
