There are some forms of alien activity even MIK turns a blind eye to. The truly alien activity between Chupataro and Ohdo Yuhi, for instance.
Chapter 74: Scare Dwelling in the Chair
"Space, the universe, vengeance, causality…This is the new future which will pierce through destiny. Using your three sets of insight, now is the time to carve open a new, unknown age! Fusion Summon! Deep Space Yggdrago!" (Level 10 DARK Cyberse/Fusion/Effect ATK 4000 DEF 2400)
"The three Yggdrago became one! I've never seen a fusion like it!"
On Deep Space Yggdrago's back was a sphere of bright blue hexagons. A data artifact contained in the original Yggdrago, found when S'btian replicated the code to manufacture Zaion's new Deck.
The centerpiece of Haven, Saionji Neiru's castle in the Garden of Providence.
"Why are mountains tall?"
"Huh?"
"Why is the sea vast?"
"What?"
"Why is the sky on this planet blue?"
Yudias, Yuamu, Yuhi, and Epoch were stumped by Zaion's impromptu existential cross-examination.
"Who created all things in the universe? Providence. Do we only exist in the palm of providence's hand? That is the root of my despair!"
"Your despair?"
"Throughout my long life, my heart has been defined by three despairs. The despair of Kamijo Gearmakers rejecting my proposal to sell us gears. The despair of losing my company Setsuri because of the Great King. And the despair of Setsuri's Great Revival failing. But…That all paled in comparison to the realization my suffering stemmed from a single source!"
A contradiction.
A disconnect.
The aporia whereby the creator hates his creation. Whereby the creator of Rush Duels seeks the destruction of Rush Duels.
"WHAT? Is your ambition not to expand the Ruthless Cheap Furniture Store across the universe?"
"My despair would seem rather trivial if I merely dreamed of opening 88.8 billion Setsuri stores across the universe, wouldn't it?"
"Then tell me, Zaion! What is your true goal? The*Luge, Tremolo, Dinois, Alfred…Turning everyone into furniture and scaring Epoch! Is there rhyme to this madness?" Yudias demanded.
"Of course there is. Listen carefully, Yudias Velgear. We are all being manipulated."
"Manipulated?"
"By him."
"Who?"
Otes? Does The*Providence-kun mean Otes? Yuamu asked herself.
"By that guy! Ohdo Yuga!"
Yudias, Yuamu, and Yuhi gasped together in the same breath.
"Ohdo Yuhi! You should know this better than anyone!"
"Me?"
"Why was Chupataro given Magic Jammer and Fusion? Why was he recruited into the Sevens?"
"Why did Yuga give Chupa that prototype Trap Card, chupa? And Fusion? And choose Chupa to be a member of the Sevens, chupa?" Yuhi remembered Chupataro airing the same concerns.
"There has to be a reason…" Zaion and Yuhi said at the same time.
"So the purpose behind harassing Epoch to produce gears for you –!"
"Just one of their gears gave me the power to turn living creatures into furniture. With more, I can end Ohdo Yuga!"
"That is wrong!"
"No, it's providence. True providence. It's one thing after the next with him! Testing that Counter Trap Card using Chupataro as a puppet! Conspiring with Goha Company and Mutsuba Heavy Machinery to invent Equip Magic Cards! Effects that Special Summon monsters from the Deck instead of the Graveyard! Creating Fusion! Creating cards that fuse without Fusion! All proof that guy is growing more aggressive, tampering with the stability of space-time!"
"Wait, wait! You're losin' me! What the hell is this about?"
"The*Providence-kun…You're not making any sense!"
"It's Zaion! Don't you get it? His reckless disregard for time itself…The ways he has baited us into repeating precise measures and outcomes! He is a devil! Yes! Majin Yuga!"
"So you've seen through my plan. Interesting. But don't fool yourself into thinking that's enough to stop my attack!"
Somehow, they had trouble imagining Yuga would go outright supervillain on them.
"We can't recover the time we've lost. That is the universe's providence. That is why I came to this conclusion. After all the calculations and observation – after playing his game and carrying out his instructions – I am convinced! He's been trapped fighting the same Duel against his fated enemy and trapped us along with him! I can't allow him to keep tinkering with the gears of fate! Because his base premise is mistaken! He tries to break loose, and only reinforces why he's tied down! All he's done is confine us to this one road!"
Ragnarok, in a nutshell.
"The more I did for him, the more convinced I became. We are all pieces in his game. His pawns. His cards. But no more! Heaven, earth, light, dark, creation, despair, eternity, death, destiny…I will break us free of the cycle! I will rewrite the reason of all creation, and usher in the new future which will pierce through the destiny he created!"
"What do you mean?"
"So what you're sayin' is you don't trust Yuga! Is that it? Is that why ya sent Back Jack to take Yuga's tech?" Yuhi shouted over Yudias.
"Anything to acquire an edge over him. His method is both correct and incorrect. It is both providence and goes against providence. It should not exist!"
This was a deep departure from the quaint movie screening about the tumultuous ups and downs of Setsuri amidst galactic recessions and raids from other furniture stores.
"Continue the Duel, Zaion! While I am standing, your ambitions will not come to fruition!" Yudias promised.

Darkness Galactica Oblivion vaporized Deep Space Yggdrago. (Zaion LP 3400 ↓ 0)
The Kamijo-made gear which furnished Zaion with his insane power flew out of his mouth, and was swallowed by the passing Shewbahha.
"I apologize for my actions against all of you and Kamijo Gear Company. However, I won't withdraw my distrust of Ohdo Yuga. His meddling is dangerous."
Even though Yuamu and I went to the future and Yuga said nothing changed? Yuhi didn't see the big picture Zaion dreaded.
The future didn't change.
That's the problem, Zaion despaired.
