The American embassy in Kabul has been alerted about the upcoming attack and is preparing. Hopefully this show of force will be enough to frighten away the terrorists, but that seems unlikely.

At Hafez's home Rick and Kyle prepare to leave.

Rick: Iilliyeen we need to leave now, or we might not be able to get you and the baby to safety.
Hafez: Your people know what is coming?
Kyle: By now, yes. Thank you for your help. You can come if you want. With your cooperation...
Hafez: I did what I had to for my daughter and grandchild. Go, be safe.

As they leave Hafez calls his brother Ubaid.

Hafez: I know you and your people are planning to attack the Americans today.
Ubaid: There will never be peace with them, they must be destroyed.
Hafez: Please, Illiyeen is going there, she has my grandson.
Ubaid: She is a whore to the americans, and your grandson could conceivably grow up to fight our fellow muslims. It has to be done.
Hafez: I told them what you are planning, they will be ready.
Ubaid: Then you are an apostate and a traitor. You are no longer my brother. I only hope that I can personally kill your bloodline.

Hekmetyar has been told of Razi's plan and is contacting him.

Hekmetyar: I know that you are planning to hit the American embassy.
Razi: I don't know what you're talking about.
Hekmetyar: Do not be a fool. We are on the verge of peace.
Razi: Peace? With the Americans? Your so called peace is just a delay, a chance for them to regroup. We must destroy them now.
Hekmetyar: All your attack would do is force them to stay. You care more about your own power than what is good for our people.
Razi: And you care more for this "peace" than doing what must be done.
Hekmetyar: If somehow you survive, don't expect any help from me.
Razi: Don't worry. Once this is successful, we will not need help from cowards like you.

As Razi ended the call Ubaid came in.

Ubaid: My brother told the Americans what he knew.
Razi: Yes, that traitor Hekmetyar seems to know as well.
Ubaid: Our element of surprise is gone, the Americans will be waiting for us. By now the will have deleted the names of all who cooperated with them.
Razi: No, they'll wait until the last minute for that. They need to know who to help escape. We must have that list. Those traitors must face justice.
Ubaid: But the Americans will be expecting us now.
Razi: Yes they will, so we need to move quickly. Our chances for survival have gone down, but our people must have that list. We move now.
