George Mason is informed about the shooting at the movie theatre. 8 dead so far, including two suspects they had been searching for. Jamey Farrell informs Mason what surveilance caught on tape.

Jamey: This woman, Georgia, she's one of survivors. She also has a criminal record, she sexually molested her own sister.
Mason: But she wasn't involved in the shooting?
Jamey: No, not that we can see. But while incarcerated she got literature from radical environmentalists.
Mason: That's a thin lead, but it's better than nothing. Okay, let's try and pick her up.

Gaines watches news coverage of the recent shooting and bombing. He wonders if Dmitry will be pleased or not. Then he gets a call from Georgia.

Georgia: Pat and Heather are dead, but so are Layeq and Rudy.
Gaines: Did the police recognize you?
Georgia: No, but I fear it's only a matter of time.
Gaines: You cannot allow yourself to be taken alive.
Georgia: I won't. But I can be more useful before I die.
Gaines: Yeah, we are short-handed. Okay, come to the safehouse.

Jack reaches the airstrip. They are loading the plane with the last of the drugs for America. So far they've been fortunate enough to avoid the guards. Time is short, but Jack wants to wait until the plane is taking off. It's the only chance to escape the guards.

Split screens show paramedics treating survivors at this movie theatre, president Allen being briefed about yet another terrorist attack, Kyle Singer continuing to listen in on Hekmetyar's meeting without success, Eric Carter subjecting Jones to sensory depravation, and Jack Bauer waiting at the airstrip.

The plane begins taking off, Jack and Nina begin running towards it. The cartel guards see this and begin shooting at them. The pilot hears the gunshots but keeps at his business, he is aware what might happen to him if the shipment is delayed. Jack and Nina almost make it, but then Nina sabotages their efforts. The plane leaves without the stowaways. Jack and Nina surrender to the cartel, neither is certain if they will survive the night.
