Princes 1

The Mysterious Star, or Wonder Planet, was a traveling constellation housing seven kingdoms: The Sunny Kingdom, the Moon Kingdom, the Flame Kingdom, the Seed Kingdom, the Jewelry Kingdom, the Windmill Kingdom, and the Waterdrop Kingdom.

The Sunny Kingdom was the most pivotal kingdom of them all, as its main power source, the Blessing of the Sun, helped provide energy and magic for the other kingdoms to use and thus maintain a state of balance with each other.

A long time ago, the Blessing of the Sun was in danger of going out and the previous ruler of the Sunny Kingdom, Princess Grace, gave her life to restore its power as well as stop a powerful evil from taking it over to doom the Mysterious Star to despair and darkness.

After her passing, a prophecy was uncovered that foretold of five children being chosen by the powers at be to become Champions and save the Mysterious Star from that very same evil that Grace sealed away, as it would inevitably return to threaten the star once more.

The Sunny Kingdom's recently crowned king, Truth, and his wife, Elsa, would start the prophecy when, at the start of their marriage, they had already given birth to five healthy baby boys who radiated strange energy. Tests were run to uncover the peculiar energy and as the prophecy had forewarned, it was the energy of the Champions.

Despite this, Truth and Elsa raised their sons with love and care, though it was quite a hassle looking over five children at once. Thankfully, their trusted Chief Maid, Camelot, was there to look after the five when they couldn't as each of the boys discovered their talents:

The first son, Nagare, was shrewd and cunning but also kind and empathetic to others. He could be a bit of a slacker at times, but when there was a serious problem, he'd do everything in his power to help.

The second son, Karma, was a practical jokester of the highest order. Every day was never boring; he always seemed to liven the halls up with mischief. He was also compassionate and determined, always working his hardest to become the strongest prince in the history of the Mysterious Star.

The third son, Edgar, was an intellectual; calculating, and sharp with a natural talent for tinkering and inventing. He always thought of the most logical explanations for situations and did his best to figure problems out by first deciphering the root cause and working from there. Despite often being a trifle smug about his genius, he cared for his family, and whatever he worked in was to help benefit his people and kingdom.

The fourth son, Apollo, was fierce, courageous, and protective. He was a bit hot-tempered and prone to getting angry at whatever rubbed him the wrong way, but he was also always willing to get on the front lines and handle any problem someone was having with whatever he had at his disposal.

The fifth and final son, Fraost, was a mountain of a young man. He was taciturn, calm, and spoke few words, but was also good-natured, honest, and an excellent listener. He often had to be the handler of his brothers when they ended up getting too out of hand. But that's not to say Fraost didn't have his eccentricities…

Right now, we join these five brothers as they receive truly momentous news; They are now the proud older siblings of a pair of beautiful baby twin girls.

"Hurry, hurry, hurry!"

"Hey, quit shoving!"

"Must you two always squabble?"

"Hey! Wait up, you jerks!"

"Slow down, you'll trip."

The five brothers, all no older than 10, were all running through the halls of the Sunny Kingdom castle. They had received the news and almost immediately began bolting for their mother's nursing room.

"NAGARE-SAMA! KARMA-SAMA! EDGAR-SAMA! APOLLO-SAMA! FRAOST-SAMA!" Cried their long-suffering caretaker and the Sunny Kingdom's Chief Maid, Camelot, as she raced after them.

Unfortunately for the Quintuplet Princes, they were stopped by two of the guards who had been standing watch by the closed doors.

"Sorry, your young highnesses, but it's still not time!" One of the guards said as the boys collectively groaned in disappointment and frustration.

"Come on! We wanna see!" Nagare whined. He had coal-black hair, amber-gold eyes, and clean chalky skin.

"I'm gonna lose it! I'm gonna throw up!" Karma said, bouncing off the walls quite literally. He had light black hair with streaks of brilliant red, a red left eye and a green right eye, and fair skin.

"Don't throw up, you dolt!" Scolded Edgar. He had short dark brown hair, ocean blue eyes, bronze-rimmed glasses, and pale skin with an intellectual aura to his stance.

"If you don't let us in RIGHT now...!" Growled Apollo. He had wild silver hair, metallic grey eyes, and a rather strong-shouldered build.

"Apollo, no..." Gently spoke Fraost, placing his hands on his brother's shoulders. He had long, flowing ivory hair and purple eyes and was also significantly taller than the rest of his brothers.

"Boys! Will you please stop?!" Camelot barked as she finally caught up with the Quintuplet Princes. "You shouldn't just run off like that! Queen-Sama and King-Sama are not ready for visitors yet!"

Suddenly, the door opened slightly as one of the doctors peeked his head out.

"Excuse me? We are accepting immediate family into the room now."

Without needing to be told twice, the five all rushed inside, their eyes showing their excitement as they saw their mother and father waiting for them, Queen Elsa holding a pink bundle and a blue bundle in her arms.

"Mom! Dad! Is that...?" Nagare asked hopefully.

King Truth smiled as Queen Elsa gestured for her sons to come over.

"Boys, meet your new little sisters."

The five all moved to the side of the bed and looked at the bundles to see their newborn sisters. One had red hair and red eyes while the other had blue hair and blue-green eyes.

"This one is Fine." Truth gestured to the red-haired one and then gestured to the blue-haired one. "And that one is Rein."

The newly christened Fine and Rein yawned as they slowly opened their eyes and looked up to see their five big brothers staring at them.

Nagare, Karma, Edgar, and Apollo all immediately began tearing up and sniffling while Fraost remained passive but even he was tearing up with emotion at the sight of his two newborn sisters.

"They're so tiny…." Apollo realized.

"Well, they were just born." Edgar mused.

"Hey Karma; they're just like us." Nagare beamed

Karma, not trusting his voice, nodded.

"Are you okay, mom?" Fraost asked his mother, then looking to his father. "Dad?"

"Ask your mother; she did all the work." Truth chuckled warmly. "All I did was stand and look pretty."

"Tired but fine otherwise." Elsa assured her son. "Boys? You can look a little closer if you wish."

The boys gently did so, looking on at the newborns.

"….Hi Fine. Rein. I'm your big brother…" They all whispered gently. The babies shuffled in their mother's arms, searching for the voices, their little arms flaying before they both managed to tap their brothers on the nose.

It was only for a second, but that was all that was needed. For on that day, the five brothers, who were rarely ever in agreement on anything, made a solemn vow for the sake of their twin little sisters:

"...I will protect them. I will FIGHT for them! They will not be hurt. There are things worth living for. Things worth dying for. Children like these two can thaw the iciest of hearts, dispel the darkest of evils, and win the mightiest of wars. THESE GIRLS WILL BE THE ONES THAT PULL US FROM THE DEPTHS OF DESPAIR AND LEAD US TO THE PATH OF SALVATION. WARS WILL BE FOUGHT; PEOPLE WILL BE SAVED AND CIVILIZATIONS WILL PROSPER BECAUSE OF THESE TWO LITTLE GIRLS! SO, FROM THIS DAY FORWARD: I SOLEMNLY SWEAR TO SHIELD MY SISTERS FROM ALL HARM THAT MAY COME TO THEM, ALL DANGERS THEY MAY POSSIBLY FACE, AND GIVE MY LIFE FOR THEM!"

-WONDER PLANET-

"Fine, slow down!"

Fine happily babbling, crawled even faster as Nagare and Karma chased after her.

"Keep after her! We'll cut her off!" Nagare hollered as he headed down another hall, leaving his brother running after the baby as she wandered into the kitchen.

Karma beamed as he caught up with his sister, almost having her in his hands before she suddenly crawled up on a table and her eyes immediately zeroed in on something delicious; a large triple-decker strawberry cake.

"Cakey!" She cooed as she reached for the grand baked goodness.

"GOTCHA!" Nagare shouted as he leaped to grab Fine, who quickly ducked.

Now, as it turns out, Karma had been in the midst of grabbing her as well, so…

BONK!

CRASH!

SPLAT!

The two princes were now covered in cake, spirals in their eyes as they were sprawled over each other. Fine giggled cutely before taking some cake and nibbling on it.

"Ank you, Karma a Nagare!" She cooed.

And immediately, the lecturing from the cooks was worth it.

-WONDER PLANET-

"Yes!" Edgar beamed as he carefully measured the proper amount for his latest creation. "Just a few more minutes, and I'll finally eliminate sesame seeds from hamburger buns! 'Could never be done', they said! 'A pipe dream,' they called it! WELL, WHO'S LAUGHING NOW!? HUH?! WHO'S CRAZY NOW?! MMMMMM?!"

"Edaga!"

The genius prince looked to see Rein sitting behind him, reaching for a hug.

"Oh, Rein!" Edgar, his madness forgotten, cooed as he picked his sister up and gave her a light hug before settling her down on a counter. "Just one minute!"

He then rushed back to his experiment. In mere seconds, he'd have eliminated the grossest part of burgers! Then it was on to the other gross foods; like spinach, gluten, cilantro...

"Seriously, who in their right state of mind liked cilantro? And so what if eliminating these foods 'threatened the ecosystem?'" Edgar said to himself.

"Oooooh!"

The coo of his sister brought Edgar out of his musings and he turned to see Rein reaching for a spiral tube that was transporting a chemical…

"REIN, NO!" Edgar screamed as he pulled her away as she pulled down.

Too late.

BOOM!

Once the smoke cleared, Edgar's face was covered in soot, his lab a mess and his hair now defying gravity in a way very similar to Albert Einstein. He slowly, almost robotically, looked at the blue baby princess.

"…Sowwy, Edga…."

"…I can't stay mad at that face." Edgar sighed, picking Rein up and nuzzling her nose, delighting as she giggled.

-WONDER PLANET-

"HEIGH! HEIGH!"

The baby girls giggled as Apollo let them ride on his shoulder as he raced through the halls, practicing his spear-fighting. The shorter boy's logic beingh that if he could fight with them clinging to hi m and keeping them happy, he could beat any foe or problem.

Neither his brothers nor their parents fully agreed with that logic, but the twins adored this time with Apollo and no one had the heart to deny them.

However, these times brought out a different side of Apollo….

As he took a break to drink some water and wipe sweat away, a few servants came by with toys to distract the girls. Fine spied a teddy bunny and pushed herself up, moving towards it. Rein grabbed her sister to help herself up as join…

Sadly for them, as they were only babies, they only managed a few steps before falling. Luckily, they landed on grass and giggled, as did the servants.

Pity Apollo didn't see that.

'….You let my adorable little sisters fall softly upon grass as they take their first steps?' Apollo mentally asked the servant, then drawing a sword and leveling it at said servant. "YOU'RE FIRED!"

"APOLLO!" Truth called out. "WHATS THIS I HEAR ABOUT YOU FIRING THE STAFF FOR OBSCENE REASONS?!"

"THEY'RE LETTING FINE AND REIN GET IN DANGER!" The Prince shouted back.

"Oh, like you're doing?" Karma teased as he grabbed some paint for a project. Apollo grit his teeth and reached for his spear..

"Ollo!"

He paused, looking down to see the twins reacbing for him and smiling.

"Ollo! Ollo!" Fine beamed.

"Pollo! Pollo!" Rein followed in suit.

"….Awwwww!" Apollo adoringly cooed, tossing his spear away and hugging the twins.

-WONDER PLANET-

"Um, Fraost?" Truth asked, trying to fight back a chuckle that his wife was more than happy to let out herself.

Fraost, the giant of their sons, was playing tea party with the twins, even wearing a flowery apron and wig.

"They're happy." The giant boy said, a tiny ghost of a smile on his face. "That's all that matters."

As the years passed, they would keep due on their words. And fate would soon dictate they and their sisters come together to stop a calamity from befalling the Mysterious Star and its kingdoms.

Knightmare Lord A/N:

Yeah, Mrotrax and I forgot about this one. The problem is that Twin Princesses of Wonder Planet is such an underrated anime that almost nobody knows about it!

We've decided to spice up the story. We'll follow the anime, but also try and make it more original...and by that, there might be characters from other animes showing up, just as a forewarning right no.

Anything you want to say, Mrotrax?

Mrotrax A/N:

Nothing else at the moment, just hope you readers enjoy it. DID explain the Apollo bit at least!

See ya in a few minutes with the next chapter!
