Eugene and Rapunzel watched as the snow and ice magically evaporated away, and the summer greenery returned.

"See, Rapunzel, sometimes things can get satisfactorily resolved without our help."

"It seems like an awful lot of luck, though," she noted.

They began walking toward the town square where people were congregating.

"Do you suppose we should go ahead and introduce ourselves?" Rapunzel asked.

"Why didn't we do that the other day?" Eugene asked.

"You wanted to get to the food first," Rapunzel reminded him.

"They had some good food."

Rapunzel nodded. "Dessert got interrupted, though."

"That was rather disappointing," Eugene agreed.
