This is written, within the frame of the legends universe.
The Rule of Two. Neither a perfect, absolute rule, or a meaningless guideline. An order to preserve a nigh broken order, culled to near extinction. Always at one time, there may be only two. A master, and an apprentice.
The master, to preserve the teachings and pass them on to the apprentice. And the apprentice, he, or she, who learns the preserved knowledge, seeking, in their quest for power, for domination, to surpass their master.
A vicious cycle which continued for generations. However, as the torch passed to the next, repeat ad infinitum, the desire for power will always lead those to bend the rules of which they worth within the constraints of, seeking naught to break them, but merely push the limits.
Count Dooku found himself in his own predicament, the count was out an apprentice of his own. Her powers became too.. Well noticed, to his own master, thusly. He was forced to "remove" her from the equation in the grand scheme of things.
Savage Opress hadn't worked out either. But another name came to mind. A friend of sorts. An acquaintance at best. But a diehard to the separatist cause, one who had unknowingly, a presence in the force, untapped, and untrained, but still. It was there. The Night Sisters of Dathomir had proven unreliable. Savage was brought unto Dooku's home, to learn the ways of the force. Yet, in the end, he worked merely with Ventress, his old, somehow survived, apprentice.
Tondel Ramarr, a brunette, green eyed, young human male, is that acquaintance that Count Dooku had yet in mind to serve as his own apprentice, an anomaly of his own, born upon the peaceful planet of Alderaan, yet he proved to be an above average commander. Already his own micro celebrity in the Separatist armies, on the ground, a ruthless, brutal tactician. In the void of space, he proved just as ruthless. However in comparison to his strength of numbers reliance on the ground, against the jedi and clones, he employed hit and run tactics that proved to be quite... An annoyance.
Particularly to Darth Sidious and his plans. Fortunately, for Count Dooku, an opportunity to "remove" a thorn in his master's side, and gain a new apprentice had presented itself. Tondel was called away by Count Dooku, personally, to the world of Dantooine. Tondel would be asked to go to the world, alone.
It wouldn't be until he set foot on the planet, that he would come to understand why he was called away. He was to be trained by Dooku, in the ways of the force, the light, and the dark. Though, the dark took primacy over the light. The training would be indeed quite brutal, for it's first few days. However, it would be after preforming satisfactory, to the Count's wishes in progressing in the use of the force, he would receive his lightsaber, and training.
At his own request, Tondel would receive a lightsaber not unlike Count Dooku's, however he received merely, one singular lightsaber, and would be trained by the Count, rigorously, until the time for Count Dooku's plan would come to pass. After progressing to the Count's own set goals that would have him confident, he would at least stand a meagre chance against his master.
Using his own connections, both in the republic, and the separatist alliance, Dooku would have shuffled off to Lotho Minor, one of the galaxy's dumping grounds, a disabled Lucrehulk battleship, to be left there, along with what knowledge the count had in regards to the jedi and the sith, to be stored on datapads within the ship, a full complement of droids(Mostly B1s with a platoon element of B2s), four mobile ion canons with ammunition, a battalion of AATs, and the necessary number of MMTs for droid deployment, to be stored on the ship, a small complement of 15 deactivated commando droids, another small complement of 4 IG-100 MagnaGuards, a halved complement of deactivated vulture droids, a full stock of C-9979 Landing Craft, four Sheathipede-class transport shuttles, a flight of four HMP Droid Gunships, foodstuffs, and a singular Cryo-Stasis pod.
Dooku would send Tondel to the planet, unbeknownst to him, however. Tondel was in for the surprise of his lifetime. He would be ambushed by the MagnaGuards and knocked unconscious. From there he was put in the Cryo-Stasi pod.
All of this was to prepare for, an uncertain future that Dooku had no foresight into, the last year of the war, 19 BBY, just one year after Tondel's forced Cryo-stasis, Dooku would meet his end on the Invisible Hand. Fearful, but comforted in the back of his mind. It would be him who had the last laugh, he was put to the sword, by his master's request.
It was indeed a well thought out back up plan of sorts from his perspective, he had no idea what his master truly had planned, not for him, or the galaxy at large.
It wouldn't be until 1 ABY when Tondel would be awoken from Cryo-Stasis...
A flash of light, the cold which enveloped Tondel before he lost consciousness, in full, faded away. A warmth found itself present there as he sat up, shooting straight upwards, looking around whilst his vision were blurry. Barely he made out the familiar form of BX commando droids, four of them, and a singular B1. His hearing, fallen from disuse took time to readjust as the B1 examined Tondel.
"What attacked me?! Where am I!?" Tondel yelled, demanding answers to his questions.
"Sir, you were put in Cryo-stasis, at the orders of Count Dooku." The B1 replied, as Tondel shoved the droid away and stood up, weakly.
"Why- H-how long has it been?" Tondel asked, concerned, he wasn't made aware of this before coming to the planet.
"Latest information which has been gathered from our communications, it has been 20 years, sir." The B1 replied, stepping away to not receive any further abuse.
"20 years... Is the war still going on?!" Tondel yelled as B1 flinched.
"No sir. The war... Is over. But..." The B1 stopped itself.
"But. What?" Tondel would ask as his eyes adjusted, to the lights of the room.
"The Galactic Republic is no more, The Galactic Empire is currently what rules the galaxy, the Separatist alliance has... Surrendered." The B1 would say, much to Tondel's dismay.
"Surrendered... Surrendered?! You must be malfunctioning, how could we have lost?!" Tondel would yell, outraged, his fury, forced his hands to ball into fists as a nearby panel on the wall, crunched up, like it were mere thing sheet metal in a press.
"That much is unknown, but a shutdown order was given by the council, your guards denied the order, and you were kept in cryo-stasis until... Well..." The droid would say, hesitant, stopping itself, like a common lacky, coming to report failure to it's master as it backed up a few steps.
"Until, what. Out with it, now!" Tondel yelled, infuriated at the droid's hesitance.
"Your homeworld, sir. We've received reports that... It's been destroyed." The B1 would report, backing up, almost like it sensed danger just from those words that left it's modulator.
"Alderaan is... Gone?" Tondel stopped, the... Shock of this news took him by surprise more than anything. He felt a chill, not just physically but... One which resounded in his soul.
Certainly, it was already a shock to learn that the war his cause fought for, was lost, even when that seemed statistically impossible, but... His home world, it was gone.
"When did this happen?" He'd ask, no anger present in his voice but, an unfortunate light tint of sadness in it.
"According to transmissions, one year ago, sir, it was the Empire, according to some transmissions." The B1 reported, somewhat regaining confidence, it wasn't yet to join the scrap heaps.
"I see... What's the status of the ship?" Tondel found new strength in his legs, as his sadness did turn to hatred, his blood boiled, and gave him new strength to walk, to stand upright.
"Repairs were started quietly after you were put in stasis, Commander. The Empire has control over this planet but has no idea of the purpose of our ship, or that it's even here. Trash and debris have covered the ship, as per the order of the Count, but it's not enough to keep us from leaving when need be." The B1 reported as Tondel walked right past it, the BX Commando droids that came would follow Tondel as the droid would follow behind the group.
"That gives no specific answer to my question, droid." Tondel would say, coldly.
"Repairs are 99.9% done. All that's left is minute tasks like reviewing the state of the other droids onboard." The B1 Reported.
"Get the ship reactivated then. We shall reassess everything after leaving the planet and jumping to hyperspace." Tondel would give his orders, firmly as he walked to the bridge.
"But sir, the empire has a ship in orbit, patrolling the system." The B1 said with concern.
"Then we shall be quick about it. Before they have the opportunity to disable us. Forget the calculations and just, simply jump. We will leave this rock and take our vengeance." Tondel said, afterwards he would take his seat at the bridge of the ship, the systems coming online, and the droids would be turned on to assist with the piloting of the hulking vessel.
This would not go on unnoticed as plenty of scouting craft would enter the area, observing the ship before they'd commence their own probing attacks on the ship, attempting to get through it's deflector shields, and past it's turbolaser defenses.
The massive lucrehulk would lurch up into the skies as piles of trash, mountains of garbage, spare parts, partially destroyed wreckage from years past, shed off the old warship, as it slowly made its way to the upper atmosphere of the planet, leaving the planet it would be met by an Imperial I class star destroyer, attempting to hail the ship, but Tondel ignore it.
"Make the emergency jump to hyperspace, now." Tondel said from his command chair
Tondel watched as he came face to face with the new before his own eyes, an Imperial star destroyer, bigger than a venator, most certainly, but thankfully it was the only one in the area, certainly it was as imposing if not more than, the lucrehulk he found himself, finally in full command of... And he intended to get away from it, quickly, as fighters would be seen leaving the star destroyer's hanger, and the ship itself opened fire, only for the shots to be absorbed by the shields.
But this was only a momentary concern. The lucrehulk, as quickly as it came to, out of the planet of scrap, was gone in a flash. Lost to the Empire.
Tondel sat, watching the vortex which surrounded the ship as it traveled through hyperspace, sitting back in his command chair as he clasped his hands together, sat silently, the only sounds audible to him were the droids which shuffled about preforming the regular crew duties they were entrusted with.
It was in this silence, Tondel arose from his chair and left the bridge, entrusting command to a tactical droid as he made for a specially added room, down the hall from the command bridge. A large room with a bed, wardrobe, sanitation area, and a meditation chamber. The latter of those options, he'd use.
Sitting with his legs crossed, he'd recall what he had been told by Count Dooku, to focus, to reach out with the force.
Tondel would do so, reaching out, to feel in the force for Alderaan, his family. Though disowned, he worried of them... But he felt merely nothing. Not his homeworld, not his family...
He'd reach out, searching and exerting himself further, he cared not for making any kind of notable "splash" to alert others to his presence, whether they were Jedi, or Sith.
He'd find his concentration broken as there was a noticeable shake of the ship. Tondel's eyes widened as he snapped out of it, shooting to his feet, he'd rush to the bridge.
"Status report!" Tondel loudly yelled as he slowed, reaching the bridge, walking to his command chair before another shake would knock him off his feet and into his chair.
"Sir, something is going wrong with the hyperdrive. It seems, maintenance was neglected on the list of priorities." The tactical droid that Tondel left in charge, before he left for his chambers, would report, knocked on the ground as well, but sat up.
"Pull us out of hyperspace!" Tondel demanded as he held onto his chair.
"Sir, the controls are not responding, we're jumping uncontrollably!" A B1 droid with blue markings in the crew pit at the front of the bridge would report.
"Shut down, all non-vital systems! The Hyperdrive included!" Tondel yelled back at the droids, merely to be met with the varied arrays of "roger, roger" acknowledging his orders as a manual shut down was implemented on the hyperdrive.
The ship itself would come to a jolting stop, almost tossing Tondel from his chair, if not for the fact he strapped himself into the chair, and held on so tightly, as if his life were dependent on it. Unfortunately a few droids were thrown from their stations as the ship indeed left hyperspace, but..
Everything was wrong, he could sense it. He'd not found himself in any star system he recognised from the planets he saw. The ship slowly lurched in the void of space, two planets before it, a sun to complement it all.
Tondel arose from his chair and stepped forward towards the window of the bridge. Taking in the sight of the planets, he gazed upon the moon, and the planet it orbited.
In a way. The planet reminded him, partially if ever so slightly of Alderaan. But it looked as if it were untouched by civilisation.
"Sir, we've exited hyperspace, however the charts do not align with our current position." The tactical droid from earlier said as it approached Tondel, a datapad in hand.
Tondel turned and took the datapad from the droid's hand, looking it over as he saw for himself, the droid was... Indeed telling the truth.
"Hm... Is it possible we've jumped somehow to the unknown regions? An uncharted part of them?" Tondel asked.
"By my calculations the probability of this is high... But given the visual evidence of the stars, and the charts have no alignment to our information... Indeed, there is no known record of any planets alike the one below, in our databanks. The only known knowledge of planets which are remotely rumoured to be capable of hosting life, are but one. The planet housing the Chiss Ascendency, from the records of the old republic. It is just as likely, we may have gone further than intended, to another galaxy." The tactical droid responded.
"Another galaxy... It is... Possible. It was rumoured the banking clans did have outposts in other galaxies. They were, after all the "Intergalactic Banking Clans.".. But..." Tondel would stop, pondering to himself, the current predicament he found himself in.
"Commander, I do not wish to interrupt, however, our scans show primitive life on the planet. Evidence of basic constructions, buildings, however no artificial life, no droids, ships, or signals." A B1 would report from the crew pit at the front of the bridge, prompting Tondel to walk and see to these claims, himself.
Just as sure as can be, the estimates were indeed correct. Primtive constructions, humanoid lifeforms... Even wildlife he'd not seen scans of, before.
Tondel returned to his seat, effectively the command chair on the bridge, overlooking the pit, shaped as a crescent infront of him, where the droids before him toiled at stations attempting to get all systems fully back up and running.
He'd let out a barely audible sigh as he'd pinch the bridge of his nose. This was all too much for him. His planet, gone, his attempt to fight the empire another day, brought him to a place he hadn't knowledge of, personally, or in the information archives on the planet.
He'd rise from his chair and bring his hands back behind his back, one balled into a fist, the other, clamped around his wrist, under that balled fist as he viewed the planet below. "Commander." Tondel said, in a relatively neutral tone of voice as he closed his eyes.
"Yes, Lord Ramarr?" He'd hear the voice of the B1 he spoke to earlier, after he'd awoken from his slumber in stasis.
"Was there anything left by Count Dooku that I should be aware of?" Tondel asked as he tried doing something his master mentioned. Feeling out through the force. As he did so, he indeed felt this planet. It was strong in the force, it was untapped, untainted... Mostly.
As with all things, the light and the dark raged in conflict, even on this unknown planet. ...But he could feel something... A presence that was stronger than most in the force...
"Yes, sir. There is a meditation chamber, and as per Count Dooku's wishes, in secret some artefacts belonging to the Count have been brought here and stored aboard in a former conference room, we turned it into a storage room for these artefacts." The B1 replied, a.. Chipper tone to it's voice. ...There was reason for this, yes. Most separatist commanders were harsh on their droids given the... Limited, intelligence they displayed in their mannerisms, and in combat.
"Good. ...I shall... Pick through them. Given the Count's death, I assume, he has left them as my property now." Tondel said, still he reached out as best he could, trying to see through the force. ...Just what, just who could be such a beacon of energy even on this untapped planet.
"Of course, sir." The droid would reply before leaving Tondel's side, Tondel heard the clank of the droid's feet on the metal floor as he continued, reaching, reaching, reaching, and reaching through the force. Tondel broke off his attempt at seeing what just... Seemed to call to him. He was... Displeased. So much time wasted, all these years, blown by. ...So much more he could've learned from Count Dooku.
Tondel would turn and step up two steps away from the control area, he'd leave the bridge and head to that conference room, turned storage room. There was more there, than he could've thought.
Whilst the Count left no riches of a monetary value. ...He left knowledge, and clothing. Boxes storing scripts and clothes, even a couple objects that Tondel saw before. His master called them "Sith Holocrons." A rarity amongst rares. They contained knowledge of sith, past. ...The scripts contained studies, in word of the powers and abilities a sith could learn, could master. The power they could bring, immeasurable.
Tondel found himself, taking the holocrons first, back to his quarters. This was a task that best suited him for the time being. To meditate and open the holocrons. Days this would take, some sleepless nights, but finally. He got at least one open. This holocron was the prized possession of Count Dooku, he had known the feeling of this device before. It was restored to working condition at some point after it was retrieved, the holocron was that of Darth Andeddu.
Though, Tondel did.. Not expect to find what was essentially a way to cheat death. He welcomed this knowledge and planned to keep it for himself. ...He'd close the holocron and store it away. Though he had naught a worry when it came to potential... Usurpers.
Yet, as he sat, pondering on the information. He couldn't help but fall back to reaching through the force, finding what was calling to him. Finishing this mystery. It was feasibly the only one he could look to finish. Getting back to even just the most remote part of his galaxy would take time. So much time. ...This would preoccupy those concerns, even if just for a little bit.
And so, he would. He sat in his quarters and closed his eyes. He began to meditate, seeking out, reaching once more, out. To find what or who might need his attention. He'd see... A flood. People working to reinforce a dam. A child seemingly leading them, one with red hair.
He'd see a man with her. He'd watch through his visions as if he were there. ...He'd see the girl lose her footing and fall, from there he'd snap out of his trance and hold his head.
Just what was calling for him.. No. Who was calling for him. ...A child? ...No. The force was directing him towards her. ...He'd be... Quite confused. His master did at one point tell him, to trust in the force as it would bring him victory, and through victory, power, glory, fortune. ...Just what was so special.. He'd get up and sigh to himself. He hadn't sparred recently given his... Recent wake up from cryo sleep. Tondel pondered to himself, just what should he do..?
It took mere moments before he'd settle on his next course of action. He'd go back to the storage room, repurposed from a conference room. He'd redress himself, finding a simple outfit, a belt with a hanger for a lightsaber, and lastly, a cape. He'd then return to his quarters to find a lightsaber left amongst his personal effects.
Like apprentice, like master. ...His lightsaber retained a curved hilt design. Perfect for the combat form, Makashi, or Form II as his master taught him.
Tondel left his quarters with his lightsaber in hand and turned it on as he stood in the empty hallway outside, giving a traditional salute as he did some practice sparring, himself in the hall.
Mentally, he was indeed older. Physically on the other hand, he was as spry as he was during the war. After he was sufficiently satisfied with his practice, Tondel made his way to the bridge, with his lightsaber on his belt. He'd be met by the stares of the droids which froze in position for a moment before registering, it was Tondel, still.
The B1 commander unit Tondel spoke with, previously would make his way to Tondel.
"What are your orders, Lord Ramarr?" The B1 asked, some... Mild hesitancy came from the droid, Tondel arose an eyebrow at this but merely smiled before he'd reply.
"Ready a shuttle, I am going down to the planet, to have a look for myself. Maintain orbit." He'd say before leaving, heading to the right hanger bay on the ship. His walk didn't take too long, aided by the force in speeding up his movements.
Tondel reached the hanger bay and would find a shuttle ready for him. Along with an escort of MagnaGuards. Tondel merely waved them off, he intended to go alone. The droids would obey and leave.
Tondel boarded the shuttle and headed to the cockpit to find two droids already there. "Only one of you is required. I shall fly myself." He'd say, the B1 pilot would reluctantly retire from the ship, leaving just the co-pilot. Tondel would take the droid's seat and go through the motions and process of starting the ship. Getting it off the ground and out of the hanger.
He let the force guide his path down to the planet. Tondel found himself, upon entering the atmosphere in the area the force had seen to guide him, he'd be met by a raging storm which cut visibility.
"Blasted storms... Always the worst when flying planetside.." He'd muttered to himself as he'd fly the ship in, down just below the cloud layer as he'd feel with the force where he was meant to go. ...He'd soon see a village, primitive as could be. But this is where the force wished for him to be. Tondel did a flyover and felt that figure he'd seen, close.
Without a moment's hesitation, Tondel stood up. "Take over, I shall call you after I'm done here." Tondel said before charging out the cockpit, and out of the back of the shuttle.
The B1 pilot sat in the copilot seat was dumbfounded for a minute before snapping and realising just what had happened, proceeding to takeover from Tondel, promptly as Tondel jumped from the ship...
Minutes ago...
Grey Co Aldo emerged from the torrential flood which swept him away from his charge, Princess Pina Co Lada. Knocked around here and there, he managed to get to his feet, with one catastrophe averted.. Another was right around the corner as he heard noises coming from the nearby village.
Grey, being the dutiful knight he was would of course go to investigate. What he saw shook him mildly. Goblins came to rescue their fellows whilst Pina, her Rose Knights, and the men of the village were seeing to a Dam further down stream. He thought back and realised, these were the Goblins that escaped. They had come back to rescue their friends.
The thought at the forefront of his mind, "I should try to get them whilst there's still only a few.." Would be interrupted by a Goblin who came across him and let out a screech, alerting, obviously, the rest. As more Goblins would come out of the bushes, out of the darkness of the night, surrounding the knight.
"So.. It called for help.." A statement of the obvious, escaping from Grey's lips as he took a stand with his sword in his hands..
A couple Goblins charged forth, Grey would proceed to make short work of the two, cutting them down. More of the group soon followed to charge the knight, hoping to overwhelm him with their numbers.
Grey fought on, as the Goblins seemed to just keep coming and coming, with no end in sight to them...
Grey soon found himself on his last legs. ...Almost literally, but it wasn't the Goblins getting in any hits, no. ...It was exhaustion and having been swept down the river. ...The Goblins replenished their numbers with their fellows that were trapped by the village.
But, even then, Grey still remained determined to fight. Not just for the village's sake, but those under his charge, Princess Pina, her Rose Knights. With a loud yell, he'd rise back to his feet, screaming out. "You fool! Damn it!", and "Come at me you sons of bitches! I'll destroy every last one of you!"...
And as if a god above answered some prayer, Grey would witness Beefeater, one of his more enthusiastic students come seemingly from nowhere and cut down a Goblin. She'd rise to her feet after doing so, looking back at her instructor with a cheeky smile. "I knew you were alive, instructor!" Beefeater yelled, that smile not leaving her face.
"B-Beefeater?!" Was all Grey could muster in this moment. He... Couldn't expect to see her, or anyone else from the Rose Knights to come to his aid, but... Here she was. ...And quickly, he'd find she wasn't the only one.
Two of the Goblins would get an arrow, each, for their troubles. Grey would look to see where the arrows came from Suissesse, and next to her, that nervous little girl, Hamilton.
As he was... Dumbstruck, everything proceeding for an unusual turn. A goblin would attempt to charge Grey in this moment of weakness, only to be cut down by Princess Pina, herself.
"P-P-Princess?!" Was, this time, all Grey could muster to say in this moment, surprised by the boldness of even the Princess, herself.
"You fool!" Princess Pina would yell, looking down on the Goblin as Grey stuttered and stammered briefly.
"As a petty official causing trouble for your highness is the greatest blunder, my apologies!" He'd manage to get out as Pina turned her head to look to the man charged with protecting her. ...Now the role had for the moment, reversed.
"You idiot! I was worried about you!" Pina yelled, Grey could see a blush and tears welling up in her eyes. It would be quite a literal nanosecond before Pina would beat on Grey's chestplate.
"P-Princess...?" He'd say, absolutely bewildered and just... So much taken out of him as he'd hear Pina yell "Take that! And that!" And with that, she'd manage at least one good punch that actually did cause an "Ack! Ow!" To come from Grey.
Pina's fellows on the other hand just... Watched on. Beefeater would be the voice of reason, ironically, in this matter. "Hey, is this really the time to be playing around?" She'd ask.
Pina would of course snap back to reality, voicing out loudly. "That's right!" She'd yell before taking some... Goofy, over the top stance with her sword, yelling "Just in time! I made it just in time!"
This elicited a response of a deadpan and a "What's this about", being asked by Beefeater.
Hamilton would answer this question by merely stating that she thought, Princess Pina was repeating a line from some opera she saw recently.
Regardless, the Goblins had no time or patience for these children and the knight with them. In the time everything went on, they freed all their compatriots, their numbers doubled. "Our guests are getting impatient!" Beefeater stated with joy, ready to continue the slaughter.
Another interruption would come from above as Grey, Pina, Hamilton, Suissesse and even the Goblins would hear it, a strange whirrr from above. Beefeater would find herself pushed back into Grey and Pina as now they'd be joined by a new.. Guest.
Back to the now..
Tondel, leapt from his shuttle and aimed himself for the middle of what he saw, as a horde, surrounding some people. He'd use the force to push back against the ground to slow his fall, which would work much to his favour.
Tondel did hear a loud yelp of pain, from what sounded like a young girl as he landed on his feet. His hood still up as his cloak came down, neatly covering him in the darkness and rain of the night.
Though he took stock of what was around him, he paid particular attention to where the noise came from. He'd look to see a young purple haired girl...? Boy...? ...Girl? ...Girl, rubbing the back of her head. He must've accidentally knocked her aside. ...But as the group spoke in a language he didn't understand, he did seem to understand the basics, they, atleast the girl seemed annoyed, or... Upset.
The bickering would stop as a Goblin would yell and head straight for Tondel.
Tondel would turn and raise his arm, shooting force lightning out from his fingertips. He'd send the goblin flying into his peers... Slowly Tondel would retract his arm before reaching under his cloak as his action seemed to anger the rest of the Goblins more profusely, they'd ready to fight as Tondel produced, pulling off of his belt, his curved hilt lightsaber. He'd extend his arm out to his right and turned the lightsaber on.
The activation of the lightsaber gave the Goblins, pause. It also gave those behind him, particularly Grey, and Beefeater, pause as the Crimson blade of the sword illuminated the area.
From Grey's perspective. He, more than those under his charge, had never seen such a weapon, or what he assumed to be a mage, with a sword. The "Fsssh" sound that was heard by all as it activated and the blade extended to full size. It was... A blade of pure light. Though crimson, like blood.
Tondel wouldn't wait a moment longer, not even bothering to give a customary salute as one befitting his mastery of form II, would to most opponents. He saw before him, trash, the bottom of the food chain. Scum that wasn't even worthy of his step, under his boot.
It would be... A terrifying, but awstrickening sight for Pina, for Grey, for the Rose Knights that came with Pina to rescue Grey as this lone, unknown man would tear through the Goblins.
The Goblins themselves would start panicking, terrorised sufficiently as this man of unknown power would tear into their ranks, cutting, slashing, and stabbing those Goblins that came his way. Beefeater first would work up the courage to fight alongside this man as best she could. Then Pina, then Grey, Suissesse and Hamilton followed quick as the six cut their way through the ranks of the Goblins.
The fight went ever on, as soon Bozes and the rest of the Rose Knights would arrive to help drive the Goblins off. ...After they got over the sight of a sword of pure light, and it's wielder, cutting through Goblins without rest, seemingly without exhaustion.
The fight lasted for over a few hours. ...Until finally, it was all over, it was done. Tondel saw to it, the last Goblins were annihilated, completely by sword, and by force lightning.
None remained. ...And as the fight ended. He heard the children celebrating. But he heard the heavy footsteps of plate armour coming to him. Tondel would extinguish his blade, returning his lightsaber to his belt before turning to look to see.. It was the knight, who offered Tondel a bow, and seemingly was trying to express appreciation for his help. Tondel merely gave the motion to Grey to rise.
He hadn't any idea of what the man was saying. ...But this? This was all merely practice to him..
Tondel remained silent as he'd feel out through the force. ...It didn't take but a second for him to realise, it wasn't one person the force was bringing him to, it was this group.
He could feel the force was strong in them. ...Children as now. ...But he could... No. ..He wasn't a Jedi, he didn't want to be a Jedi. ...Jedi took children from their homes to train them. He didn't want that. ...But he would find reason to stay. ...To observe. To learn. ...He would... Naturally take his time with that. ...But it would be when Grey turned his back, to go see to Pina. He would meet the eyes of the blonde girl, who would give Tondel a smile.
Tondel had... Intended to leave. He couldn't speak the language, but.. He could give at least a memory to those he fought with. For the future.
Tondel would lower his hood to show, he was merely just a man. Younger than probably expected. He gave a bow to Bozes, and when she saw, Pina too, she'd be... Incredibly surprised. She expected an older man than Grey under the hood. ...But he was just a man, probably no older than her older brother at this stage. ...And with that, he'd put his hood back up.
Leaving without a word. ...Not that he could share one, anyway. This wasn't his planet. ...And their language, certainly wasn't his. But, there was solace in a way. If the force called him back, they would at least know him. ...His face, anyway. If there was nothing else, at least that, was there.
They knew from his actions, he was a potential friend if anything.
And for the first time since being set down the path of the sith, Tondel had wondered what path he'd see himself down now. His master was gone, his home was gone. ...But this place remained, and the force called him to intervene once already... Just what remained in store?
