After the paperwork and introduction cards were filled out; Lincoln and Courtney were shown to a room with a green screen to film their first confessional for their introduction in the season's first episode. "I'd say that it worked well so far..." Lincoln told Courtney as they got out of the room and waved to Carrie and Devin who were next in the line to have their confessionals filmed.
"Can't believe that in such a short while; I will be competing against my own son in a TV competition..." Rita said as she was beside Lola while they were behind Dawn and Gwen. Lincoln looked embarrassed as Courtney shook her head; Lola just rolled her eyes while Carlos and Maria behind them were suggesting that they tone it down. Luna and Sam from their spot in the line just giggled.
"Yes a tender family moment... Can I please suggest that once we are on the train and officially competitors; we try and stick to the teams please? Get used to the race and then suggest possibly forming alliances later?" Courtney then told Lincoln and glanced at the others with Luna, Sam and Rita all giving their looks of agreement to go with the idea.
"Nothing wrong with that Ms CIT and we will see if you want to ressurect your old alilance later; if both can keep up with us both?" Gwen suggested teasingly as Courtney looked at her all competitively as Lincoln just sighed but Courtney took a deep breath.
"Don't worry Lincoln; Gwen was just teasing and I know Courtney isn't as seriously determined to win as before. Hopefully later down the line we can work together again and with Carrie and Devin to join us." Dawn assured them as Lincoln and Courtney then went up down the hall passing by the line.
"Lincoln, I..." Courtney then said but Lincoln just gave her an understanding look as he put up his hand.
"No; you're right Courtney. We have to focus on making sure we can get through the challenges as just the two of us before considering alliances. It's like post-merger all throughout the season but only with a partner. Alliances throughout the entire season will just mean that we would struggle if the alliance is all that's left..." Lincoln then said as Courtney smiled.
"Greetings to see you both again in another question for a case filled with riches; hope you can deal with our combined knowledge and abilities..." They then froze and then turned their heads at the familiar voice to find at the back of the line was Leonard and an obtuse girl dressed like an old fashioned woman warrior.
"This is Tammy and we have been friends through a long time; hope you can compete against us now that we are all foes from the start..." Leonard said but the two just kept on going and were now facing facing eachother ready to scream.
"They gave HIM a spot on this show and there is another now... Uh; as if one Leonard wasn't bad enough and now there's a girl him... I now have sudden flashbacks of dealing with his nonsense..." Courtney was ready to scream her head off as Lincoln got her hands to calm her down.
"Don't worry Courtney; we are not on the same team as him this time and considering his performance on TDA; I don't think that we will have to see him in the game for very long." Lincoln reminded her and she giggled in agreement.
The next morning Lincoln and Courtney awoke in the twin beds in their hotel room and they had their backs turned while they got changed from their pyjamas into their clothes. There was a knock on the door and then entered Gwen and Dawn fully dressed. "Gwen had shown me something that she had gotten since we were last together physically off course and she wanted to finally get to show you." Dawn said as Gwen turned around and taking off her shirt with Lincoln deciding to shield his eyes but she then found a tattoo with a heart and his name on it.
"Wow... You got that... Did that hurt and did you get into trouble?" Lincoln asked wide eyed as Dawn giggled and Dawn turned around to face him.
"Kind of and my Mum thought it was adorable when I told her my idea. My bro is thinking of trying to come up with a super sappy excuse to get one when he is older." Gwen told him as she put back on her shirt and then decided to jump at Lincoln to kiss him that he returned with Dawn jumping to join Gwen.
"If you are going to do that then I am going to claim yours' and Dawn's room for myself. Just don't get carried away and be ready to go to the train station." Courtney with a smirk and got a pillow thrown at her for her comment.
Not long later they were outside to be picked up on the bus and then at the train station and given their tickets for the train; "Our fresh start on a new reality show starts now Lincoln..." Courtney told him as they then followed the other Louds, Sam and the Casagrande siblings onto the train and looked around to see the other contestants. Some familiar but others different.
Next is the first episode and I was planning on doing a scene inspired by this scene from the Rooster Teeth cartoon Camp Camp. Basically Sammy would be at the hotel to meet them and told Lincoln and Courtney about an incident early during Action where Chris tricked Sammy by telling her to quickly give a note to Chef in the kitchen area. She would have ran into the wet floor, tripping and falling head first into the cooking tub.
Chris would have said that it was supposed to be tomorrow's breakfast and Chef's response.
"...And it will continue to be tomorrow's breakfast."
You can imagine how Lincoln and Courtney would have reacted to that...
