Lincoln and Courtney were sitting at the train together feeling looking annoyed as Lola decided to stand up on her seat smiling and waving to everyone else and saying "future mega star and veteran pageant princess Lola Loud here! I have a notebook ready to give out autographs for anyone who wants one and let's face it... Who wouldn't as I will be winning the million dollars!"
While Rita was trying to get her to settle down as they were getting looks from the other contestants; "Yeah Lola can be a handful and... I don't think she are winning any friends for her or Mum right now..." Lincoln whispered to Courtney who shook her head.
"Just keep to yourself and let her make her own undoing..." Courtney told him and they both gor folded up pieces of paper thrown from the ones on the seats on the other side. They saw that both of them had it signed by guys named Gerry & Pete and they saw the waving aged guys in tennis uniforms who Lincoln didn't recognise. "Wait... I think I saw your pictures on the front of tennis magazines..." Courtney said as they grinnined.
"Uh yeah; Gerry and I both stole the shows at Wimbledon and we have plenty of medals and trophies to our names! Bonafide champions at things that take skill and not looking pretty as well saying how much you want world peace." Pete then said.
"Good thing for Pete as well; he would be stuck at the looking pretty bit!" Gerry then said as they both then laughed as Lincoln and Courtney then took this in.
"Well; this looks to be quite a bunch and... You want to take bets on how long it takes those 2 gets kicked out?" Lincoln asked jokingly as he pointed to 2 teenagers who were fighting with eachother in their seats wearing purple clothes which Courtney giggled at. They then noticed 2 girls (1 about their age and 1 younger) in another pair of seats with them having different moods with one being serious and the other taking pictures with her phone. "I thought we weren't allowed phones on this show?" Lincoln asked wide eyed.
"Sorry about that; my sister Kitty was allowed on the condition that we disconnected her from all internet services until we are done with the show but I am making sure that she keeps her eye on the prize once this starts. I'm Emma and I know who you two are Lincoln and Courtney." the serious girl said eyeing them both seriously as they thought that this one was taking this competition seriously.
The Ridonculous Race logo is shown on the screen as it shows a shot of Toronto, Canada as it zooms in on a cruise ship with an albino panther on it; while Don's voice narrated "This is Toronto, Canada where the albino panther roams free!" Don was on top of the train station explaining that beneath him 18 teams are arriving to embark on a race around the world as an animation of the globe is shown. "On this season though we will bring 'Total Drama' as 9 teen stars from Fresh TV's own fresh new reality show are being brought in... Should I say 10 because joining me as an assistant and interviewer is none other than Total Drama Action's poor long suffering intern turned host for the final part of the season: Sammy!" Don then said as he was on the ground outside the train station as coming up to him was Sammy dressed in a green shirt; skirt and a blue jacket.
"Thank you all! Also I have been asked by the studio to tell you that on the Total Drama merchandise store; replica Golden Sammys are now available and with the purchase of 2 you can get a 3rd for half price." Sammy then said reading off a card.
"I am the host Don and this is... The RIdonculous Race!" Don said as it zoomed in on his face with a smile.
A shot of the globe is shown while the theme music played, a hand is shown over it while holding a Travel Tip as it cuts to shadows of all teams running. On the globe it shows several spots ighlited by yellow dots, it cuts to photos of the locations and then showing on the screen pictures of all the teams. It ends on the logo.
"18 teams are arriving to the station to race around to the death... Sorry I have been told not to the death..." Don then said as he was next to Sammy.
"Let's meet the teams that AREN'T racing to the death but are racing to win a 1 million dollars at the end of this all!" Sammy then explained.
"Carrie & Devin; longtime Ridonculous Race fans and best friends!" Don narrated as it showed Devin reading in the train as Carrie was looking at him with wide eyed.
In the Confessional; Carrie was with Devin showing the name card on the screen listing them as 'BEST FRIENDS' as she said "I first met Devin in the sandbox and we haven't spent a day apart since! We watched the debut of the Ridonculous Race together and dreamed of competing one day and now thanks to my lil sister we have a place here! If anyone can win this race, it's us!" Carrie then said.
"Yeah; I know Carrie so well... We have our own vlog together and we watched Total Drama together to support Carrie's sis Dawn..." Devin said as he then noticed Carrie looking at him and she then apologised.
"Next up all the way from the US; mother and daughter duo Rita & Lola! Rita is a mother of 11 and Lola is an experience child pageant champion. She wrote a long description card that I decided to scrap and I will instead say that... Man; giving birth to 11 children must have taken a toll on that woman..." Don narrated as it showed Lola trying to offer autographs on the train but Rita asked her to calm down.
It showed the two of them together in their confessional with the name card reading 'MOTHER & DAUGHTER'; "I never expected to end up here this time last year... It all started when Lincoln my only son if you can believe it decided to audition for Total Drama Island and only 1 spot for an American and he was picked! Our family were so proud and watched him throughout the 2 seasons together... Almost killed me and my father and stepmother while watching but it led to our family being offered a spot and Lola wanted to take it and I said that I would go with her! We worked together in a mother and daughter pageant once years ago!" Rita said smiling as Lola was smirking at the camera.
"I am a pageant Champion with experience in winning; much experience in winning as the team 'Pageant Superstar Champion & her Mother..." Lola then said and she looked at the camera as there was whispers from the camera person. "What do you mean we can't us the name?" Lola demanded but calmed down before Rita could ask her. "Anyway; I think the million bucks is as good as mine and I have big plans..." Lola then gloated as Rita laughed.
"Plans that will have to wait as if we win; the money will help you with your college fund and you will get the rest when you turn 18 honey." Rita told her as Lola was wide eyed.
"Emma & Kitty: 2 sisters." Don narrated as it showed Kitty smiling while taking pictures on the train while Emma was looking up at their luggage. In the confessional their name card read as 'SISTERS'. "I'm studying internation law so that's going to give us an edge as we are here to win!" Emma explained as Kitty was excited.
"And to have fun!" Kitty said as Emma said if there is time but there won't be but Kitty complained.
"Total Drama stars, eco driven friends with the same boyfriend as well as Gal Pals: Dawn & Gwen!" Don narrated as it showed Dawn and Gwen on the train. Then it showed them int he confessional with Gwen smirking having her arms folded while the name card read 'GAL PALS'.
"Not too crazy about the name and it was Dawn's idea... We met on Total Drama and first impressions weren't good at least from my perspective but we went from strangers to love rivals to friends... Helps that we ended up okay with us both dating the same boy! This is our first time on the same team and if we win; the money is all Dawn's as I already won my million on TDA!" Gwen then said as Dawn smiled.
"Greetings citizens of the universe; I want to say that I never cared for the money but I figured that I could use it to donate to causes helping the nature and animal worlds; causes that Gwen and I helped fundraise together on her channel! My tea leaves before leaving home said that I would have a wonderful time on the Ridonculous Race and I don't doubt it as friends from Total Drama are involved as well as some of Lincoln's family and my own sister and her best friend!" Dawn said as she waved to the camera.
"Speaking of boyfriend and friends from Total Drama... TD former teammates and alliance members Lincoln and Courtney!" narrated Don as it showed the two of them in the train. Then it cut to them in the confessional with the name card reading 'REALITY TV PROS'.
"We both met on Total Drama and on both seasons we were both on the same team! We even had an alliance in Action with one of Lincoln's girlfriends Dawn! We both survived past the merger and Lincoln here can brag that he is the only contestant to have made it to the semi finals of both seasons... I think that I like our odds... Oh; did I forget to mention that the first season had a Ridonculous Race episode and who paired together won that challenge?" Courtney confidently said as she then smirked while pointing her thumbs to her and Lincoln.
"This is like a do-over for the both of us as Courtney got carried away with our alliance due to how she was eliminated in Island and I didn't try to speak up more than I should have... However we have made us and are looking to work together better!" Lincoln said as Courtney gave a normal smile.
"Go team! Woo-Hoo! Am I overdoing it?" Courtney asked as she cheered and looked at Lincoln who just laughed.
"Carlos & Maria; a brother and sister team." Don narrated as it showed Carlos & Maria in their seats with Carlos reading a book and Maria looking excited as the name card read 'BROTHER & SISTER'. "We live together in our childhood apartment and Mercado building owned by our parents. I have my son Bobby & daughter Ronnie Anne and Carlos has his sons CJ, Carlitos & carl and daughter Carlota. I always wanted to travel the world but I chose to focus on being a nurse so that I could raise my children. But Ronnie Anne's friend Lincoln whose older sister is actually married to my Bobby; he got on Total Drama and we supported him and it led to our family being given this spot... I can't thank him and this studio enough for this opportunity..." Maria explained with a big smile.
"I am a Professor of Culture Studies and I have read various studies of reality TV competitions and this show to help my sister out. Even if we don't win; I will make sure that we stay long enough for Maria to see as much as she can!" Carlos said as Maria looked at him gratefully.
It showed Cody and Tyler looking confident in their seats; "Cody & Tyler; Total Drama love rivals turned wannabe playboy brothers in all but blood!" Don narrated as it then showed them in the confessional with the name card reading "DRAMA BROTHERS".
"We met on Total Drama and wasted so much time chasing after the same girl but then it turned out she was a manipulative *BEEP*... Wait... Sorry... It will be censored... Thanks... We got eliminated and realised we had so much in common and became best bros; got our own show to host and we have to patch things up on air but... We got it sorted out and since the last season we recorded our own album! Drama Brothers are being all sorts of famous!" Tyler explained.
Cody then started singing I Want It That Way by Backstreet Boys as he then took off his shirt to show drawn on muscles again. "What do you think Tyler? Used a tattoo pen this time..." Cody asked Tyler as he held back laughing.
It then showed the train arriving and out came 2 ice dancers in matching uniforms; "Josee & Jacques: Ice Dancers!" Don narrated as the two then waved as if there was an audience. Then they were in the confessional as the name card read 'ICE DANCERS'.
"We know how to win as we have won gold everywhere..." bragged Jacques with his arms folded.
"Except the Olympics when he dropped me and we got silver which is Jacques' least favourite colour..." Josee then corrected as Jacques then ran off crying.
"Bridgette & Fin; 2 surfing partners!" Don narrated as it showed Bridgette and a girl at the bus door. Then it showed them in the confessional with the name card reading 'SURFERS'.
"We watched Total Drama Island and I decided to audition for Action and I got in! I got to meet the cool people that I saw on TV; have them become my friends and even one became my boyfriend! We started dating online after the last season!" Bridgette said as Fin smiled.
"Funny enough it was the guy EVERYONE at school had expected to be kicked out early and I personally wouldn't go for him but hey; Season 1 winner he turned out to be!" Fin then said as Bridgette giggled.
At the door of the train station was all the teams; "Over here teams!" Don called out at the starting line with Sammy there. "Sammy will be taking care of introducing the rest of our teams!" Don explained.
"Next up is father & son duo Dwayne & Dwayne Junior..." Sammy narrated as it showed a smiling man and a frowning preteen boy with a red cap back to front.
In the confessional their name cards read 'FATHER & SON!' with Dwayne having an arm around his son, "I spent so much time in office that I decided that this race would be a perfect way for us to bond!" Dwayne then said as Junior looked at him.
"Any other kids my age here..." Junior asked.
"A team of few words; B & Beardo!" Sammy narrated as 2 big teens walked together as it showed them in the confessional with the name card reading 'SILENT TYPES'.
"I am really shy and B just likes to have his actions speak for himself." Beardo whispered smiling as B just nodded.
Then the two teens fighting with eachother on the train are still fighting on the pavement. "Lorenzo & Chet, new stepbrothers and I am kind of worried for their chances..." Sammy narrated as it showed them in the confessional glaring with the name card reading 'STEPBROTHERS'.
"My dad married his mum last year but we still hate eachother so they are making us do this! Jerks!" Chet complained with his arms folded.
"Don't call my mum a jerk!" Lorenzo ranted at him as they started fighting.
"If we were taking duos from Total Drama; there is no way we could get away with not taking the first season's best friends Katie & Sadie which only elimination could separate the two of them!" Sammy anrrated as Katie and Sadie excitedly walked together hand in hand.
They were in the confessional as the name card read 'PRACTICALLY CLONES', whiel underneath it was a disclaimer saying 'WE ALREADY HAD A TEAM THAT TOOK THE NAME 'BEST FRIENDS' FIRST AND THE TWO COULDN'T GIVE US ANYTHING BETTER.'
"We have been friends forever and we got onto Total Drama together! It led to us having our first big fight and I had to say goodbye to Katie! On the Ridonculous Race episode; I was stuck with that big meanie Lindsay!" Sadie excitedly said.
"I bet you totally would have won it all if you hadn't volunteered to get voted out to make Lindsay suffer!" Katie told her.
Then walking together making arms up in the air rock poses were Luna & Sam; "Luna & Sam; bandmates and girlfriends!" Sammy narrated as it then showed them in the confessional with the name card reading 'ROCKERS'.
"We have been friends for a long time, then we formed out band the Moon Goats and then started dating! Our hometown has this annual duo race called the Astonishing Quest and we paired together before we got together; it didn't work out at first but we made it work!" Luna said as they were smiling.
"Luna's brother Lincoln was on Total Drama and the studio contacted our manager after fnding out about how popular our band is getting and we got a spot offered to us! This is to him and my own brother Simon!" Sam said as they then made rock poses.
2 hockey jersey wearing teens were excitedly walking the road. "Up next is 2 hockey loving friends Wayne & Raj!" Sammy narrated as it showed them in the confessional with the name card reading 'HOCKEY BROS'.
"We have been bros for since forever... We have done everything together from hockey practice to getting into the fights! We were even in the same holding cell recently!" Wayne said and Raj nodded.
"We entered the Race to travel around the world together... Plus the money could help replace some windows we broke as well as pay back our folks for the bail..." Raj then explained.
Then 2 smart women were walking the road together after getting off the bus; "Mary & Ellody; 2 geniuses who hope to use their winnings to help the science community." Sammy narrated as it then showed them in the confessional with the name card reading 'GENIUSES'.
"Astrophysics is underfunded; reality TV shows offer money and the conundrum is solved!" Ellody then said.
From a taxi driving some soft drinks were Leonard & Tammy; "Tammy & Leonard; 2 dedicated Live Action Role Players and I and everyone here at the studio don't think there is anything wrong at all with LARPing but there is such a thing as being too into it... Just like there is such a thing as method actors just being jerks for no real reason..." Sammy then narrated as they were in the confessional with the name card reading 'LARPERS'.
"Total Drama Action didn't work out for me but with Tammy's new spells; we will be unstoppable! We will claim the dragon's eye (dwarfish for 1 million) at the end of this world quest!" Leonard then said as Tammy played a flute.
Gerry & Pete were walking together; "Finally Gerry & Pete; retired pro tennis players and friendly rivals and if you ask me that's the best type of rivals!" Sammy narrated. They were in the confessional as the name card read 'TENNIS RIVALS'.
"We were both competitive but for a 1 million dollars? Game on!" Gerry said as they laughed.
"Maybe we will get some new sponsorships; if they need someone to be the face of senior laxatives..." Pete then said as they pointed at eachother.
"Call his agent!" they said at once and nodded.
All teams were at the starting line were Don and Sammy together and Bridgette then leaped out and embraced Sammy. "Sammy; I missed you! You look amazing!" Bridgette then told her as Sammy embraced her back and they let go.
"Thanks Bridgette; trying this new look especially as the studio had some complaints about my cheerleading uniform... Glad you like it..." Sammy said as Bridgette went to join Fin again. There was Lincoln in awe as Sammy with her cheeks said "do you like it Lincoln..."
"Wow Lincoln; are we not enough for you?" Gwen joked smirking with her hands on her hip as Dawn giggled as well did Lincoln's family members as Courtney facepalmed.
"Now that it's settled; this starting line is the beginning of your multiple part race around the world! Each part ends at the Chill Zone which you have to get there fast because the last team to arrive on the Carpet of Completion may get cut from the competition!" Don then explained.
"The first team to get to the last Chill Zone on the final challenge of the final episode wins 1 million dollars!" Sammy continued as the teams cheered as Don went to the Don Box.
"This is the Don Box; press the button to receive the travel tips that will lead you through the entire race! Now if you could get ready!" Don asked as he and Dawn went off the road as they all got ready. "On your marks. Get set... Race!" Don said as they started running to the Don Box.
Several cuts of hands pushing the button is shown with the travel tips coming out of the Don Box's mouth. "Race on foot to the CN tower..." read Fin as she and Bridgette started charging off.
"...And find the Don Box to get your next tip..." Dwayne said as he ran with Junior while Raj & Wayne ran to push the button.
Teams were running as Dwayne spotted the tower; Josee & Jacques had their arms out posing with smiles as they ran as Dwayne ended up crashing into a trash can and it sent them it flying to the Ice Dancers and covered them both. Dwayne apologised as Bridgette and Fin stopped and looked.
"Are you alright..." Bridgette asked concerned as they elegantly pushed it off and started running again and it landed on the two of them with them trying to get it off as Lincoln and Courtney passed. Lincoln couldn't help but put it off and Courtney ended up helping before they went off running again with the Surfers running now as well after they took a moment to breathe with teams behind them.
Dwayne & Junior were the first to get to the Don Box and Dwayne ended up reading it to se that it was an Either Or challenge as the Ice Dancers caught up with Lincoln and Courtney as they went to push the button and get their travel tips.
Don was in the tower at the top of the stairs door and elevator. "An Either Or gives the teams a choice of 2 challenges; they can Either climb 144 flights of stairs to get to the world's tallest observation deck Or Scares where they take the elevator and have to do a skywalk on the the outside of the tower! Don't worry they will get helmets and a safety rail!" Don said as he pointed to the doorway to the skywalk and Sammy was nearby with her arms folded.
"My contract for this show said that I don't have to do anything dangerous if I don't want to... Anyway Teams must finish Either task and then find this local guide to receive their next tip!" Sammy then said and pointed to the travel guide who was taking a nap.
"More than a hundred flight of stairs? Can I take all that walking..." Lincoln asked groaning reading the travel tip as he and Courtney were the Stepbrothers arguing over their travel tip and there was Carlos & Maria reading theirs'.
"Would you be able able to handle a skywalk on top of the world's biggest tower?" Courtney asked as Lincoln blinked and gulped.
"Stairs sounds good..." Lincoln said as they went in as Lola and Rita then arrived to get their travel tip and Lola was holding back a grin.
"Scares easily... How can they scare us when we lived with Lucy & Luan? Besides a relaxing elevator should make a skywalk no problem..." Lola said confidently as Rita wasn't so sure.
"I don't have a lot of studies in long stretches of stairs and so... How about Scares?" Carlos asked Maria as she nodded and they went in.
"Well if that's what you think we should do Lola..." Rita said as they went in.
Lorenzo called Scares and laughed as Chet let go and fell.
"First in..." Dwayne excitedly said as he and Junior were in the elevator and tried to high five his son when Junior ducked and Dwayne accidentally damaged the buttons and Dwayne said whoops. "For a skinny tower; there are sure a lot of floors... So Stairs?" Dwayne said as they let go as several other teams came in to the elevator. The Father & Son duo started climbing the stairs as Dwayne said "we chose Stairs from the start if anyone asks..."
Above them Lincoln and Courtney were ahead in running up the stairs even as Lincoln was getting a bit tired.
"As the Reality TV Pros and Father & Son commit to climbing the stairs; more teams choose Scares but they are in for a long wait!" Don narrates as it shows several teams waiting outside the elevator and then cuts to Rita, Lola, Maria & Carlos in the elevator and Lola was already impatient.
"How long is this elevator? I thought these were supposed to be more convenient than stairs..." Lola demanded.
"It's a long tower Lola but I do agree... It looks like this was damaged and someone pressed all the buttons... You would have thought that they would have made sure it was in top shape before the competition..." Rita said as she checked the buttons.
"I can share some info from some articles that I have found recently to pass the time?" Carlos offered.
Soon the two teams were at the top and got through the elevator; "I don't see anymore teams... Are we all tied for the lead?" Maria asked as they were excited.
"And Lincoln wanted to go through the stairs... Bet he is kicking himself now..." Lola laughed and hid a smirk as they then went to the doorway to the skywalk and they all paused.
"We are walking out here..." Rita asked as they were all terrified.
"Rita, Lola... Has Lincoln shared any tips on how he survived all those Total Drama challenges because I would appreciate it if you would please share them..." Carlos asked pretty much pleadingly.
"While the Mother & Daughter team answers that question; we will be back after these commercial messages!" Don narrated as a shot of the tower is shown.
"We are back on the Ridonculous Race and those that decided not to do the skywalk are in for a long climb..." Sammy narrated as it showed several teams on the stairs; "Dawn... You have to... Tell me how you get your energy sometime..." Gwen told Dawn who looked perfectly fine as Gwen was taking a moment on the stairs to take a moment.
"I would have been happy to try the skywalk and see about Mother Earth having our backs for all we have done for her and still are... But Gwen had bad memories about when she and others thought that they were falling out of a plane and... I can tell they weren't pleasant for her and everyone else..." Dawn said and Gwen jumped as they heard a loud horn and then there was B with Beardo making that sound.
"As impressed as I am that you could make that sound with your mouth; was that needed?" Gwen asked with a slight glare and Dawn went up to them.
"Beardo is sorry; he wanted to try and be encouraging and... B; your aura is a purplish green and it suits you." Dawn then said smiling as they both smiled at her.
On the stairs Courtney kept stopping to let Lincoln catch up until he was puffed out and was on his knees; "I... Should... Have known... This... Would happen... The skywalk would have been better by comparison... Sorry for slowing us down Courtney..." Lincoln muttered as Courtney then picked him up and carried him onto her back with a smile. "Wow thanks Courtney... You sure you can do this?" Lincoln asked as Courtney then grinned as she then ran up.
"Just relax and let me 'carry' this team... I meant that as a joke and not that I am taking charge to boss you about for this or that you were dead weight..." Courtney said as Lincoln laughed.
"No need to apologise; I knew that it was a joke and it was a good one Courtney; trust me growing up with Luan's puns means that I know what a bad joke sounds like..." Lincoln told her as other teams were behind them on the stairs with Father & Son barely in the lead.
"Most teams continue to climb or wait..." Don narrates as outside the elevator there was most of the teams with Katie and Sadie excitedly talking to eachother while Tyler and Cody were talking making poses and practicing their singing.
"Mother & Daughter and Brother & Sister are the first at the observation list but is the Scare too much for them?" Don narrates as Rita, Lola, Maria & Carlos gulped as they put on their helmets while looking at the doorway. Lola kept a hold of her tiara in her hand.
Then the elevator is available again at the bottom with teams rushing in to claim it.
"Being a team player isn't just going to be me making sure to listen to Lincoln's input but also know when to adapt with any weaknesses that he has. He's not as physically fit as I am? Adapt!" Courtney said as she and Lincoln were in the confessional smiling.
"I appreciate it Courtney... You know I now realise we made the best call with the scares; us risking falling from a greater feet than we did and probably drown rather than just be stuck in tar this time?" Lincoln said and Courtney was wide eyed and nodded.
"After an hour of stair climbing; some teams are puffed out..." Don narrated as the Stepbrothers even all tired are still arguing while on the stairs. Luna and Sam were holding onto each other's shoulders to try and drag themselves as the Hockey Bros were practically dragging themselves up the stairs.
At the top Rita, Lola, Maria & Carlos were slowly forcing themselves into the skywalk as the elevator was up and Devin pointed out the skywalk. Best Friends got their helmets and ran to the skywalk and past them.
"We are losing our lead..." Lola screamed and then held her mouth. "And my breakfast... Why did we have that big breakfast at the hotel..." Lola asked with green in her face as soon came Geniuses, Practically Clones, Tennis Rivals & Surfers.
"You always wanted to conquer your fear of heights, right?" Carrie asked Devin as they were on the skywalk and he said that he was scared of falling. "Don't worry; it's a TV competition! It has got to be safe!" Carrie assured him and this got looks from the Loud & Casagrande duos.
"You watched the same Total Drama show that we did right?" Maria asked.
"I remember your sister almost drowning in a submarine and afraid for my son's life more times I can count!" Rita had screamed and Carrie was concerned as the safety rail got blown off.
Then the Tennis Rivals ran through followed by Surfers; "We can do this Fin; just pretend that we are on the water fighting against a tough wave!" Bridgette told Fin as they passed.
"Come on Devin; I believe in you!" Carrie said and Devin said that it makes one of them as holding hands they walked the skywalk with the other teams including the Loud & Casagrande duos who decided to do their best to fight the wind.
"Honey, dad, kids, mum and everyone else... I assure you that we survived this..." Rita said in the confessional managing a smile as Lola grunted about how messed up her hair is.
"This is incredible! I feel so alive!" Kitty said at the edge for the skywalk with her phone taking pictures as Emma grabbed her hand.
"Make sure that they put that on your tombstone!" chided Emma as they ran passing through Tyler & Cody trying to look flirty at them.
The door of the top of the stairs and Courtney jumped out and put down Lincoln; "We did it Lincoln!" Courtney cheered along with him as the travel guide showed the travel tip. "Catch a line with the zip; ride a line to the tip... Are we going to expect more riddles in these tips?" Lincoln asked as he read it.
"Teams must take a flimsy zipline over Lake Ontario to the island airport and snag their next trip along the way. Our intern Andrew tested the zip line this morning and his family needs to not worry as the studio is covering his hospital bill." Don narrated showing the zip line.
Lincoln and Courtney then took the zip line as Jacques carrying Josee then took the next one. Lincoln reached out to grab the travel tip.
Best Friends & Tennis Rivals got through the skywalk and Pete complained about his artificial knee going out. "This show was a great idea as we have both been through way tougher battles than these youngsters!" Pete said in the confessional as Gerry nodded.
Back at the top floor Carrie was excitedly reading the travel tip about ziplining and always wanted to do that while Gerry shouted that he never wanted to do that.
Lincoln and Courtney got to the mattress at the end of the zip line and jumped off excited followed by the Ice Dancers with Don waiting for them. "The Reality TV Pros are the first to make it to the airport while Ice Dancers come in second..." Don explained as the Ice Dancers gulped.
"What? We came in second... That's silver medal..." Josee screamed as Jacques freaked out while Lincoln and Courtney laughed. "What are you untrained peasants laughing about?" Josee demanded at Lincoln and Courtney.
"What's the matter? Second place not good for you 2? You know I think I heard about you and saw the footage from the Olympics... I laughed with my friends as you big guy cried out like a baby after getting your silver medal..." mocked Lincoln as the Ice Dancers glared at them.
Jacques and Josee were silently glaring in the confessional and Jacques made a cut motion to his neck with his finger.
"Book 2 seats on the next flight to Morocco?" Lincoln read on the travel tip.
"There are 3 flights to Morocco with each 30 minutes apart and the teams in the first flight have the distinct advantage of arriving first! Teams on the last flight should probably think about what they are doing!" Don said as it showed Lincoln and Courtney booking their seats.
Carrie caught the travel tip on the zip line while Devin excitedly calls her the best. Tehy are in the confessional as Devin said "I had to do this with Carrie as she is my best friend; we watched this show together, she's smart as well as determined... And my girlfriend Shelley was busy anyway for the forseeable future." Devin said as Carrie frowned.
Pete fell from the zipline as Gerry pushed him off saying it was for Wimbledon 77 and then caught the travel tip only to fall into the water himself.

"Was the architect of this building a member of the McLean family by any chance..." Gwen ended up shouting as more teams from the skywalk went forward with Mother & Daughter and Brother & Sister at the end of them.
It then showed more teams landing the zip line.
"The teams on flight number 1 are as follows: Reality TV Pros, Ice Dancers, Best Friends, Father & Son, Gal Pals & Silence Types! The teams on Flight number 2 are Rockers, Sisters, Geniuses, Hockey Bros, Tennis Rivals & Surfers! Flight number 3 have the LARPers, Brother & Sister, Mother & Daughter, Practically Clones, Drama Brothers & Stepbrothers! But let's go to Sammy with our first team to make it to the airport the Reality TV Pros for some quick thoughts..." Don narrated as it showed the airport with Lincoln and Courtney looking confident with Sammy next to them as Jacques and Josee were glaring at the,.
"Congrats you two but Lincoln; I love you... I mean as in... You know what I mean but can I ask... Did you really think it was a good idea to try and taunt the Ice Dancers like you did? They were rude but are you afraid of making enemies so early in the race?" Sammy asked catching her words as Courtney snorted.
"Should we be afraid of a bunch of glorified ice ballet dancers? This isn't ballet; what they say? We have dealt with Lindsay, MK & Lauren so I think we don't really have to worry about anything..." Courtney asked and this caused the glares to intensify.
"Who will win the first part of our race? Who is the first to be eliminated... The Ridonculous Race is to be continued..." Don said at the airport as it zooms in on his smile.
Just occurred to me but with the Police Cadets not in this version of the Race (though in the previous story we saw MacArthur as Lauren's parole officer and Sanders as a security guard at the juvenile centre that Izzy & previously Lauren were at), we will need a new team to be their main rivals and enemies during this story. Do we have a team that in this chapter could fit that role? Hhhmmmm...
Yeah Lola & Rita were perfect to take Taylor & Kelly's place in this version of the story and you can say that the canon Daughter & Mom pair competed in a previous season.
