"Brooke wait." Lucas said. Going after her.

Brooke stopped walking near her car and looked up at him.

"What is it?" Brooke asked.

"I never thanked you for staying home with Roman and Sloane."

"You took to motherhood as if you had been doing it all along."

"It was an adjustment for me. It still is something i'm finding my way through. I made a pipe dream a reality."

"But our life together. This marriage."

"Is the only reason my life has anything of substance or purpose at all. I need you. You are the love of my life. I've lost track of so much."

"All you've done is love and support me in return i find a way to push you away and that's on me."

"I started therapy and i'm going to work on it."

"To becoming the husband and father you have always believed i was capable of being."

"If you want to reopen you're store. You have my support to do that. It's about time i step up as a dad and make Sloane and Roman the priority they deserve to be." Lucas proclaimed.

"I'm going out of town for two weeks." Brooke announced.

"Peyton volunteered to keep the kids."

"But if you're serious about stepping up. Would you want to stay at home with Roman and Sloane on you're own.?" Brooke questioned.

"I would. I think it will be good for the three of us." Lucas replied.

Days Later

"I want to go with momma!" Sloane exclaimed.

"Why can't we go with her? We're supposed to be team?" Roman asked.

"You're mom is taking some time for herself. Alone." Lucas replied.

"Whose going to take care of us?" Sloane asked.

"I am." Lucas replied.

"My heartbeats. Behave. The schedule remains. I love you very much." Brooke proclaimed. When they came downstairs with her suitcase.
