"Take us with you." Sloane insisted. Rushing to her mother.
"We'll be good." Roman added in.
Brooke wrapping her arms around them. Hugging them tightly and kissing them.
"Momma needs to step away for awhile. I'm only a call or video chat away. But i doubt you'll need me."
"You're dad can handle this." Brooke stated matter of fact.
"Let me know when you land. And when you're booked in at you're suite." Lucas said. As he walked her out of the home.
"I will. They will be okay. They might give you a hard time at first. They just aren't used to me not being there." Brooke explained.
"Enjoy you're trip. The three of us are going to be work things out."
"I love you." Lucas replied.
"I love you too." Brooke said.
Lucas waited until Brooke had started driving away before he went back inside.
He found Roman. Making a fort in the living room.
And he soon located Sloane. Who was upstairs playing in her dress up trunk.
Lucas decided before starting dinner. Which he still wasn't sure what to make he checked out the schedule Brooke had in the kitchen for their twins.
Something he never really bothered to look at.
His eyes going wide. After school activities. Bedtimes. Etc.
He realized then he had no idea what went on with his children.
The sobering fact that he didn't really know them the way a father should.

Brooke checked into her suite. And started to unpack her luggage. A luxury suite. All for herself.
She had nothing planned she was going to let it unfold organically.
Once she finished that. She called Lucas to check in.
