The Ridonculous Race is shown with clips from the previous episode followed by footage of the first 6 teams on board as Don narrates "Last time on the Ridonculous Race; 18 teams teams started a race around the world that involved running, waiting, even more running, confronting fears and pushing themselves harder than I thought these people were capable of. Everyone reached the airport and booked themselves in for 3 flights to Morocco. Flight number 1 with 6 teams on board has already departed, the next 6 teams are on the second flight which is about to take off. Meanwhile the LARPers, Drama Brothers, Brother & Sister, Mother & Daughter, Practically Clones & Stepbrothers won't be leaving for another hour! Will one of these teams have to suffer through the indignity of being kicked off first? Find out now as this is... The Ridonculous Race!" Don is shown and it zooms in on his smile.
The opening is shown.
"12 teams are already on their way to Morocco; 6 are still waiting for their flight!" Don narrates as Katie and Sadie with standing next to the seats where Rita, Lola with her hands to her cheeks grunting, Maria & Carlos.
"So you are really Lincoln's mum? What is your town like? How does it feel with your son being a superstar now?" Katie asked excitedly as Rita smiled at him.
"Nice to meet you both as well and yes Lincoln is my son and Lola's sister and it feels great that Lincoln found something else to call his own along with his magic, games and comic books..." Rita said as Leonard appeared with his arms extended as Tammy put forth confetti causing them to jump
"You say magic and I remember Lincoln's performance with his own magical arts in the first season of Total Drama and I offer you mother of a fellow sorcerer for merge our forces to vanquish our foes!" Leonard said as Lola glared at him and faced Rita.
"Mum; why did you bring up 'magic' in front of him..." Lola gritted her teeth and Rita even sighed to herself. "We don't want an alliance with you scram and go back to whatever nerd cave basement you crawled out of!" Lola snapped at them as they took a step back. "This is a joke... We were the first 2 at the top of the elevator and now we are tied for last with these clowns... Lincoln is already on his flight and now we had better start with a proper comeback..." Lola groaned.
"Don't be like that Lola; just focus on how we will be in another part of the world when we reach Morocco on this big journey and try and not the let pressure of being last get to you!" Maria then said trying to reassure her.
"Indeed; the sights and experiences shall be fascinating to document." Carlos then said as they saw Cody and Tyler come up to them.
"I know we were told to not try too hard on our last episode of Aftermath but we think that we can show off..." Cody said as he tried to look cool.
"Too young for you... Thank goodness..." Lola dryly said.
"Too old and married." Rita said as dryly.
"Same for me but divorced in my case." Maria then said.
"We didn't want to try anything with you; we just wanted to ask... Lincoln mentioned having a sporting sister and how much older is she? Would she be interested?" Tyler asked as this question froze the faces of Lola and Rita and they then looked at eachother and then started bursted into laughter as they fell off their seats. "So is that a maybe?" Tyler then asked wide eyed as the Stepbrothers were at the payphone.
"Your plan won't work mum because Lorenzo is a poohead! Can't you divorce his dad?" Chet asked as Lorenzo came.
"Is that my dad? Dad; divorce Lorenzo's mum!" Lorenzo shouted as they thought over the payphone as Leonard came to them with Tammy giving out confetti.
"Tammy! We only have the 1 bag!" Leonard complained with Tammy giving out more confetti in response as Sammy came up to them with a sigh as if she really didn't want to do this.
"To Leonard, Tammy... We didn't really get to know Leonard in his short time on TDA as much as others... Can you tell us about yourselves... I am sure that one person is interested..." Sammy asked as they smiled at her.
"Tammy and I met in first met in 9th grade and we were shoved into the same locker so we became very close!" Leonard explained.
"We became instant friends as we eat our lunches and waited for the janitor to find the bolt cutters." Tammy finished.
"Well I can give sympathy as one bullying victim myself... Back to Don and I think the first flight arrived..." Sammy then said to the camera.
"Indeed Sammy; Morocco is formerly known as Italy and it is home to hot desert and hot foods! The first flight has landed as Sammy claimed! They will have to find the next Don Box to collect their next travel tip!" Don narrates showing photos of Morocco and it shows the flight landing.
Out came the Reality TV Pros, Ice Dancers who were dancing with their running, Best Friends, Gal Pals, Silent Types and Father & Son. There is the next Don Box at the entrance and they claimed their travel tips. "The spice is right... An All In!" Jacques then said excitedly.
At a spice kiosk Don explains "An All In requires that both members of the team take part in the challenge! In this case they must make their way to this spice kiosk and choose 5 spices from the array with some sweet but some are breath meltingly hot!" Don explained as it then showed the teams reading the challenge and ideally the spices to pick are cumin, cinnamon, paprika, saffron and ginger.
They then ran to collect a taxi with the taxis leaving with them. "We are doing great pal!" Dwayne told Junior smiling as he pulled Junior in.
In the confessional Dwayne introduced them and Junior told him that they already know that. "Well we are gonna win and I bet they don't know that! Newsflash: father and son team wins the million!" Dwayne then said as Junior just stared.
The camera inside the Reality TV Pros' taxi showed them; "I have heard of spices and eaten them but actually picking them out when I don't know what they taste like... Wish I knew to ask my dad beforehand as he owns his own restaurant and is the main chef!" Lincoln sighed.
"I am sure that we will be able to figure it out when we get there and taste it!" Courtney then said confidently.
In the Gal Pals' taxi; Dawn then said "I have enjoyed several spices myself and Carrie loves cinnamon lattes so I am sure that my digestion system will have no problem." Dawn then smiled as Gwen shrugged.
"I can do spices fine; though how spicy are the other choices? My bro one pranked me by eating a chilli peppered sauced meal..." Gwen said as she then looked concerned as Dawn took her hand to soothe her.
In the Silent Types' taxi they just stared quietly.
"While the teams are off to the kiosk; the teams on flight #2 are preparing to catch up..." Don said as Sam and Luna were singing a rock song together which had the Surfers putting their heads up and down digging the music while Wayne and Raj decided to start singing themselves as it was a hockey song. Gerry and Pete then looked at eachother as they were covered in blankets to warm themselves as their clothes were still wet.
"You see that? That's why we are the best generation!" Pete then said as Gerry nodded.
"Try these young upstarts soldier on after fishing themselves out of the ocean!" Pete then said as the Geniuses just ready to themselves.
"Some teams have arrived at the spice kiosk..." Don narrated as the taxis involving the Best Friends, Reality TV Pros , Gal Pals & Silent Types arrived.
"No labels... Gonna be rough..." Gwen muttered as some looked concerned.
"Cinnamon! This is cinnamon!" Carrie excitedly said pointing to a barrel.
"Cinnamon! This is Cinnamon! That's what you sound like homie!" Devin then laughed as Carrie did so as well as the other teams looked their way.
"You totally would have missed it!I am the one who lives for cinnamon lattes!" Carrie then told him.
"Which you constantly spill on me!" Devin retorts as Carrie laughed as Courtney coughed to get their attention as she looked annoyed.
"My apologies Carrie and Devin but we are all competing in a race and..." Dawn then said as Carrie and Devin looked apologetic.
"Sorry Dawn and everyone... We will take this..." Carrie then said as they pointed to their spices.
The Ice Dancers came and picked their spices and the other teams did as well with Lincoln and Gwen smelling some to pick them out.
They got their spices all together in a bag and read their travel tips; "We have to ride to a desert restaurant... On a camel... As if dealing with these people around us aren't enough..." Jacques screamed as well as Josee.
"If you ask me our camel will be more pleasant company than you both..." Courtney joked as Lincoln, Dawn and Gwen giggled as they went forward with the Ice Dancers glaring.
The 5 teams are riding their camels with the Ice Dancers clearly unhappy but Gwen and Dawn were walking with their camel as Dawn patted it on the head. "I am sure that your wife will understand if you just tell her your concerns..." Dawn was telling the camel.
"Can you do that?" Gwen decided to ask Carrie on her camel with Devin.
"Oh no... Dawn is the aura reader in the family; taught by our grandmother and it's nice... Having so many friendly animals visiting the house and just have to follow them and watching Dawn in her treehouse." Carrie then replied looking at Dawn proudly.
"You are pretty great too homie; why don't you have a boyfriend yet is beyond me..." Devin said as Carrie was red in the cheeks as the others just stared and Dawn just sighed.
"The teams head off in the desert as flight number 2 has arrived..." Don narrates as Rockers, Sisters, Geniuses, Hockey Bros, Tennis Rivals & Surfers race out to the Don Box to get their travel tip and then rushes to the taxis. "Flight number 3 is finally in the air!" Don said as Maria was excited in her seat.
"Sorry everyone; always wanted to travel the world and it is a big deal for me to be doing this..." Maria was telling them.
"Glad that you get this chance Maria and I hope you and Carlos lasts long enough to show you the world because I can safely say that there is a lot of exciting places in store for this season!" Sammy said as she was sitting by herself in the front row looking down as Maria grinned with Carlos looking excited with Rita interested while Lola was just looking outside the window impatiently.
It then showed Dwayne and Junior looking a the spices at the kiosk.
In the confessional Dwayne and Junior were together as Dwayne said "it's not a man's job to know spices as in the ancient times it was women who were the spice collectors and men were the hunters!" Those were the days with men with the power..."
"You know Mum is watching this right?" Junior asked as Dwayne looked nervous.
"But now things have changed for better and things aren't so barbaric!" Dwayne corrected himself.
Back at the Kiosk; Junior then saw the taxis and said "oh no, the other teams are coming... We will take these..." Junior then said pointing to five.
The second flight of teams came out of their taxis with Geniuses getting there first; There is an eating element to the next challenge so picking the right spices are upmost importance..." Ellody said as she then picked out the right spices and left with MAry as the other teams came up to them.
"As more teams arrive at the kiosk; the 3rd flight has finally arrived and they had better hurry if they want any hope of catching up to the teams searching for the culinary!" Don explained as it showed the teams on the camels.
"Dad I think that the camel is about to pass out." Junior told Dwayne as the camel was tired as Dwayne was slapping it to get it to go faster.
"Not to worry my boy as they are the tireless ships of the desert..." Dwayne assured him but then the camel passed out with Junior giving him a look.
Back at the kiosk; Emma and Kitty were looking at the spices as Emma was trying to choose the last spice as last taxis arrived, Kitty pointed to one thinking that its the one they want. "This is no time for guessing games Kit... Uh... That one?" Emma said as she pointed to one.
"So you can guess but I can't?" Kitty asked wide eyed.
"Mine is an educated guess..." Emma replied as she got the bag with the spices and travel tip attached to it. "Can you please not throw a temper tantrum right now?" Emma asked as she started walking and told Emma to hurry up.
"Was rather fun choosing the spices and wondering what they could be..." Fin said in the confessional with Bridgette as she eagerly nodded.
"Sure hope we chose right as I have had tried spicy well spices before and... Well... Let's just say that I have had more fun being chewed out trying to sneak into my home in the middle of the night..." Sam sighed in the confessional with Luna next to her.
"I still have nightmares of the April Fools Day when Luan got a hold of the sauce made from the hottest spices in the world..." Luna then said.
The LARPers got in last arriving after Rita & Lola and Leonard asked if the merchant accepts dragon coin. "The final teams had chosen their spices but they still have a long way ahead of them!"
"We are currently in last place but that's no cause for concern I don't think..." Leonard said.
"We were delayed by a very angry taxi driver who wouldn't accept our dragon coin to try and speed up... He is going to rue the day when our choice takes the throne of the world!" Tammy said and muttered glaring at the screen with LEonard looking confident.
At the desert restaurant the chef is heating the bowl as Lincoln and Courtney feeling the heat arrived on their camel as Lincoln fell onto his back. "The Reality TV Pros arrives at the restaurant first!" Don narrates as Courtney helps Lincoln up as she drags them both to the Don Box.
"Stupid heat... I haven't hated the Sun as much as I do now..." Lincoln panted a Courtney pressed the button to get the travel tip.
"Botch or Watch... Only one of us has to do this... We have to hand the spices to the chef so he can make us a bowl of stew that one of us must eat! Lincoln; just rest and let me eat it as I can handle it if we chose wrong..." Courtney told him as she then handed the bag over but Lincoln was running away with a look on his eyes.
"A pool... Ice cold juice... Every David Steele comic..." Lincoln muttered trying to run off before Courtney caught him in a stomach hold.
"With you hallucinating Lincoln; I have to do this for your own good while our stew cooks... But if your mind imagines Dawn and Gwen in bikinis then you might find the strength to get out of my grip..." Courtney then muttered.
"...Once the stews are finished the teams must race over here to the Chill Zone for some ice cold water as the last team to meet me here are cut from the competition!" Don explained at the Chill Zone.
Then it shows the chef handing the bowl over and Courtney then puts Lincoln down and then downs it the bowl. Courtney finished eating and picked Lincoln up. "Come on Lincoln; I am done... So let's get going..." Courtney told him as she waked off and Lincoln started walking with her while groaning about the sun and started singing Here Comes the Sun by the Beatles while Best Friends and Ice Dancers arrives.
"Good work Lincoln, Courtney!" Carrie cheered them on as Josee got a rabbit's foot out.
"Come on Bun-Bun; don't let us down!" Josee said as she got looks as Carrie and Devin handed their spices over. "I'm not superstitious at all but I just believe this rabbit's foot responsible for everything good in my life... You can't rub it Jacques!" Josee then said and then slapped Jacques' hand away as he tried to touch the rabbit's foot.
"If Dawn was here to see that you have it... I don't even want to imagine..." Carrie then said.
Courtney was getting tired running while carrying Lincoln but her eyes widened happily as she spotted something through a gap in some trees; Lincoln however looks through his vision and then managed to get out of Courtney's grip with her eyes widening as he then shouted "WATER!" He then ran all the way to the Carpet of Completion and fell down as his arm was reaching out to the water available there.
"...Sooks like I am getting company here quicker than I thought as first place goes to the Reality TV Pros! Congrats!" Don said smiling as got to the Carpet of Completion and Courtney excitedly took a glass of water to sip and then splash onto Lincoln's head while helping him up.
"What happened... We are at the Chill Zone... How did we do..." Lincoln asked suddenly awake as Courtney was beyond excited. "Wait... Did we get here first..." Lincoln asked and the grin on Courtney's face said it all.
"We got first place! Won the first challenge of this show! We proved that we are indeed the Reality TV Pros!" Courtney told him as Lincoln started doing his victory dance from after they both got back from the resort during Total Drama and Courtney stared before deciding to do her on victory dance as well.
"As the Reality TV Pros take in their victory with the upmost dignity and modesty; some teams are trying not to be dead last..." Don narrated as it showed Dwayne trying to drag the passed out camel with Dwayne riding on top.
The LARPers on their camel passed them and Leonard said that it's easier riding the camel; "Well thank you very much!" Dwayne angrily snapped at them.
The LARPers on their camel then started catching up with Rita and Lola who was holding her nose while they rode their camel.
"First we had to try and do a skywalk on top of a tower that might as well be in outer space; then we had to wait for the last place flight and now even those dweebs that manages to out dweeb Lincoln and his friends are catching onto us... Only thing that could be more humiliating at the moment was if I fell off and the stupid camel blew it's gas on me!" Lola ranted in the confessional with Rita who sighed.
"I wish that I was able to change into more heat ready clothing before we got onto the flight." Rita said as it then showed several of the teams on their camels.
"As the LARPERS get themselves out of last place; the race to 2nd heats up quite literally as the teams dive into the restaurant challenges!" Don narrates as it shows a cut of several teams handing over spices.
Carrie sighs happily as she stares at Devin eating his stew; she then faces the camera and said "That was... Okay; I love him! I loved him since we were 4 and he peed in my turtle pool... That's not why I love him, that's just when it started..." Carrie admits happily but then nervously explains herself. "After all this time; how can I tell him and what happens if he feels the same way since has a girlfriend... Shelley... Even Dawn gave up long ago in tryign to see her good qualities... Shelley will see this on TV... What am I doing?" Carrie then said and then berates herself as she realises this.
Devin then excitedly shows that he is done as Carrie hugs his neck. "Come on; we can catch up to Lincoln and Courtney if we hurry!" Devin said as they runs off as more teams arrives with their spices and the Tennis Rivals ends up being thrown off their camel by the camel itself.
"A wonderful performance of grace and efficiency! Bravo!" Jacques said as Josee finishes their stew and they run off while they were yelling.
"Are you alright Gwen..." Dawn asks Gwen concerned as Gwen was on her knees from the spicy stew having been eaten.
"I will happily eat this again if the choice was anything Chef ever made on TD..." Gwen said and they heard a fire alarm go off. They looked and saw it was Beardo on his knees making the sound with his mouth as he reacted to the spicy stew with B looking concerned.
Carrie and Devin are running but Carrie trips and Devin helps her up asking if she is okay with her wide eyed and picks her up as she jokingly calls him Romeo. In the confessional they were together as Devin said that it looks weird for teens like them to be so good friends but they were so close that it was like whatever and Carrie ends up agreeing.
With the other teams Bridgette eats the stew with Fin watching and there was shouting as Sam was on her knees reacting to her stew as Luna checks on her. Ellody was watching Mary eat hers' as Maria was trying her stew for her and Carlos. "Not bad at all... Should go back to the merchant later to ask what spices we had so we can take them home and have Mum try a stew with them." Maria said as they heard shouting.
"I don't think that we were as good as choosing our spices..." Lola said as as Rita was shouting holding her tongue and Luna called out to her mum in concern and picked up Sam so she could check on them both. Tyler was waiting for him and Cody and said that they didn't choose so bad but wish that he knew that the first place to travel to wasn't tracksuit weather. Wayne had passed out and Raj was pouring the stew into his mouth while he was still on the ground.
"Some people need to be have stronger stomachs! I once bet Pete here that whoever lost our 83 Championship game had to eat the loser's sock and it wasn't bad at all!" Gerry said in the middle of eating his stew for him and Pete while Sadie was trying to help Katie with a stew cramp and Kitty was encouraging Emma.
In the confessional Emma said that they chose the wrong spices and Kitty reminded her that she chose all the spices. A glare made her say that it was good because she would have just guessed.
Devin ended up running them past the trees to the Carpet of Completion. "Second Place goes to Best Friends, well done..." Don then said as behind them was Lincoln and Courtney continuing doing victory dances as Don looked back at them with a glare. "...That quit being amusing 10 minutes ago so I would appreciate it if you could calm down please..." Don yelled and they stopped.
"Wow, I knew we made a good team but first place..." Devin said in awe.
"Losing only to a more experienced team so well done Lincoln and Courtney!" Carrie said as they went up to them.
"Well done as well... Sorry we both got carried away celebrating there..." Courtney ended up saying. " But we are number 1..." Courtney then said with her eyes closed and danced a little with her closed fists.
Back at the eating challenge; Lorenzo told Chet not to spit out his stew or they would lose and then in the confessional, Chet said that his dad is a motivational speaker so he was taught everything to know. Cuts to Lorenzo shouting at him to swallow who then said that his barf was less spicy than the stew.
Then the Ice Dancers runs to the Chill Zone but ends up crashing into a tree. Then Josee had to getup first and help her partner up as they ran to the Carpet of Completion. "Ice Dancers; as a Canadian ice dancing team, you've probably hear this a lot... 3rd place!"
In the confessional Jacques was covering his ears in despair was Josee was having a tantrum off screen.
Then it showed pictures of the teams as Don read off their places; Gal Pals got 4th, Tennis Rivals got 5th, Brother & Sister got 6th, Geniuses got 7th, Drama Brothers got 8th, Surfers got 9th, Silent Types got 10th and Sisters got 11th.
"1th? You have to start doing more!" Emma complained to Kitty as they were in the Chill Zone.
"I would love to do more; please let me do more..." Kitty said as Emma said that she will say when she could do more.
Back at the restaurant Junior called to his dad that he had to get up and eat the stew; as it showed the Stepbrothers as well as Lola & Rita were done. Dwayne faced the camera and said "I didn't want to come here but now that I am... I don't want to be the first team to get kicked out..." Junior then reminded him that he said to never say quit quit but Dwayne said it's to never say never but Junior admitted that he never really listened to him and to just get up and eat.
Then it showed the Rockers getting 12th, Mother & Daughter getting 13th, Practically Clones getting 14th, Stepbrothers getting 15th and Hockey Bros getting 16th. "That leaves LARPers & Father & Son and one team is out of here!" Don narrated as it showed Leonard eating the stew.
Dwayne hopes that they got the right spices and it turns out that a fly going to it caused a fire reaction, then the LARPers started running with Tammy using confetti. Dwayne gets up and downs the stew as Junior looks on in awe. Dwayne yells about temporary blindness and Junior gets him to run holding his hand.
"Catching on fast; to maintain our lead we have to use magic..." Leonard said taking out a staff as Tammy uses her flute for a Song of Slumber but the two Dwaynes just go past them.
The LARPers run forward as Junior arrives at the Carpet of Completion and Don congratulates him and Dwayne as Dwayne runs past with Junior telling him that they are almost there. "Congrats Father & Son; 17th but how long are you gonna get him to run?" Don asked and Junior said that he just needed a little break.
In the confessional Dwayne reacts to their place and said that they need to do better and perhaps they should strategies all night.
"The Ridonculous Race is all about strength, skill, determination and it's not about magic... Last place... Get out of here! You're done! Cut from the competition!" Don sternly told them LARPers as they arrive and Tammy tries to use a time reversal spell. Don then looked to the right and yelled out "Security!"
A montage of the LARPers time on the show is shown as Leonard said that he got to do a lot of things he never wanted to try, Tammy was glad they did this together but Leonard didn't get why they had to walk home.
Then it is shown Sammy with several teams; "To cap the end of the first challenge up; I want to ask these teams if they have any regrets or if they knew what to do to have done better if given a do-over..." Sammy said and looked to Lola who snorted with her arms folded.
"Should have just taken the stupid stairs..." Lola just said.
"If Chet wasn't such a buttmunch; we could have came in first..." Lorenzo said as he and Chet then started fighting.
"Maybe if we didn't fall off the zip line..." Gerry then said as Sammy then went up to Gwen and Dawn who were smiling proudly at the grinning Lincoln and Courtney.
"Still in the game so no regrets except maybe different spices could have been chosen but to hear that my boyfriend got first place even after having the stairs get to him and then feeling the heat..." Gwen smirked as there was shouting.
"You charlatans beat us again? You got gold? No fair!" Josee then snapped as Lincoln and Courtney then laughed.
"We are just better than you: I guess... We could do what you do..." Courtney then bragged as Lincoln then picked up Courtney by the waist with his hand but she eneded up falling down as Lincoln dropped her.
"Oh... Sorry Courtney..." Lincoln said as he and Dawn and Gwen went to help her up as the Ice Dancers just glared.
The dynamics between the canon teams are the same but the dynamics between teams will be different. Anyone looking forward to the reaction chapters and see how the younger Lynn reacts to Tyler's question?
