This is the second and final chapter of the one short of Cobra kai featuring Mike Barnes coming to the Miyagi do Karate dojo where he will meet with another Miyagi Do student who hails from Boston Massachusetts.

Miyagi Do Dojo. A week later.

It was on a Saturday morning in the late summer and the Miyagi Do Karate Dojo was empty for the time being until a car pulled up in the driveway.
Once the car parked itself on the side, the engine stopped before the driver's door opened to reveal Mike Barnes stepping out. Dressed in sportswear as if he was going to do a workout on the grounds, Mike stood with the door open as he looked around at the parking area and at the sign that said Miyagi Do Karate.
Closing the door to his car, Mike went to the back door and opened it to grab his duffel back before he closed it and locked the car up. Carrying the duffel bag in his hand, he walked off from the car to approach the front of the Miyagi house.

Looking around, he took in the sight of the place itself. He began remembering the time he went to Miyagi's house to confront Daniel LaRusso in 1985 and fought him before Silver arrived to beat him.

It was at the time he was under his employment for the fifty per cent of ownership in the Cobra Kai Dojos in the Valley, but now as he stood in front of the Dojo, Mike couldn't help but still feel a little guilty about the things he did to this Mr Miyagi person who did nothing wrong to him except defeat him twice in a karate fight.
Heading along the pathway on the side, Mike made his way to the backyard of the Dojo house.
Opening the gate he walked through and closed it behind him.

When he turned around, Mike saw that it was still the same backyard; It had its large stone with Okinawan writing on it and it had a fish pond on the side as part of the rock garden but the garden was extended to add an Okinawan sparring deck which impressed Mike as it was a good addition to the Dojo for sparring in their spare time which would be beneficial for a rematch between him and Daniel LaRuss.
Mike walked to the step at the back door and placed his duffel bag down. Curious about the sparring deck, he walked across the wooden decks to the end. From there he went past the fish pond with the board in the middle as he made his way to the Sparring deck and went up the steps to stand in the middle.

Once he was in the middle, Mike started to do a couple of kicks along with a few of his punches to warm up as if he wanted to show off his best moves.
After finishing off in a battle stance, Mike knew that the skills he possessed were still in him and he felt good to use them again. Walking to the side view where the Miyagi House stood, Mike was starting to look forward to gaining a few lessons in Miyagi Do karate training so he could earn fifty per cent of credit for training the students and giving them lessons on how he was taught.
It wasn't long after stepping off the sparring deck and heading to the back door's deck to take off his jacket and grab his water bottle from his duffel bag, there was a visitor who pulled into the front yard of the Miyagi house. At first, he thought that it was Daniel LaRusso coming in early or Johnny Lawrence coming for a visit to do an early sparring session with him. Heeding no mind to the visitor, Mike opened his duffel bag and grabbed his water bottle to take a drink.

Mike was taking a swig of water from his open water bottle at the pull-on tip when a woman appeared from the side of the house, dressed in a sportswoman's attire, with a tank top and wearing a zip-on hoodie the woman was carrying a duffel bag of her own when she came into the Dojo to see the stranger, standing in the back yard. She dropped her duffel bag on the ground, and the sound of it hitting the ground alerted Mike of her presence, he turned his head to see the woman move into a battle stance as if getting ready to attack.

Getting into a battle stance himself, Mike was prepared to make the first strike on the woman who seemed like she was a warrior but her response took him off guard when she spoke. "Who are you? What are you doing here in Mr Miyagi's Dojo?"

"I was about to ask you the same thing. But let me ask you something first: How do you know this Mr Miyagi?" asked Mike.

"He was a friend of my Grandfather's, so do you have a name stranger?" The woman asked Mike. Detecting a Boston accent from the woman standing in front of him, Mike realised that this woman wasn't from around here so he responded with an introduction. "My name is Mike Barnes, I was a former Karate champion before I got banned from Karate due to some illegal association with the Cobra Kai Dojo. Do I hear an accent in your voice?" Keeping her eyes on Mike, she decided to explain. "I hail from Boston Massachusetts."

"Oh, that makes sense since your accent shows that you're not a resident of the valley. I'm sorry but what's your name miss?" Mike said, lowering his fists down to break his battle stance and stand up straight before he approached her casually but he stopped at a short distance as he spoke.
Seeing that this man meant no harm the woman lowered her fists and introduced herself.
"It's Julie, Julie Pierce. I was a former student of Mr Miyagi when he paid a visit at my grandmother's, he stayed there to take care of me and train me whilst my Grandma came here to tend to the gardens."

"That's funny because I didn't know this Miyagi guy would actually give lessons to young women like you." Mike said, impressed by the explanation. But Julie decided to correct him. "Mr Miyagi didn't give me lessons, he just helped me brush up on my skills and control my anger. I was a different person when I first met Nariyoshi Miyagi and he learned about the Karate legacy I carried. My father taught me karate when I was a little girl, but he and my mom died in a car accident years ago."

"Well its very nice to meet you Miss Julie Pierce. And I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. Can I ask you another question? Do you know Daniel LaRusso?" asked Mike.

"
