Lonzo and Ezra were on the move, Riolu was cradled safely in Lonzo's arms, Riolu began to trust him more. The boys were going to Lonzo's apartment building.
Riolu was surprised that he got to see the sights of Vermillion. He didn't get to see them much cause….. The Pokémon didn't want to think of that anymore. He smiled and enjoyed the ride.
"Like it?" he smiled and pet his furry head.
"Riolu, Olu!" he cheered. Lonzo smiles brightly at the Pokémon. Lonzo was skating, then he got a call.
"You have a call from Goh, You have a call from Goh."
Goh? I haven't heard from him in a while.
He picked up his phone and answered. "What's up, Goh."
"Hey, where are you?"
Lonzo wasted no time. "Skating home from the Pokémon Center. I found a Pokémon being abused by their so called trainers." he wanted to throw up from the events that took place. it made him sick to his stomach to think about.
"Dude! good for you, man! you're gonna have a reputation pretty soon as Pokémon savior."
Lonzo laughed. "Dude! that is the most corneyst thing I've ever heard in my life! where do you come up with this crap?" he said, laughing again.
"Hey! It's not crap! it's actually a good one!"
Lonzo cringed. "Don't flatter yourself, sweetheart." he said.
"Oh, come on dude! Give me a break!"
"Mmmm, how about, no. You're too fun to mess with." he laughed.
"I-I'll call you later."
"Aww, what's wrong? wittle Goh got his feewings hwrt." he teased.
"Dude, I have to call you back! Arceus help me." he hung up
"Bruh." he said, putting his Rotom Phone back in his pocket. Ezra was bouncing Lonzo's basketball, and they finally made it to the apartment complex.
Lonzo's apartment building is a large, modern building with multiple floors, situated in Vermillion City. This building is made up of various levels, with balconies on the top floors, providing a stunning view of the city. A car is parked near the building, and a few people and their Pokémon can be seen walking around the area.
There are also some traffic lights in the scene, indicating that the location is a busy urban area. In addition to the main building, there are two smaller buildings visible in the background, adding to the complexity of Vermillion city's skyline.
Lonzo took out his key fob to open the doors, the doors open, Ezra saw Lonzo walk up to the desk. "Hey, I'm back."
The man smiles, Muhammad hands him some envelopes and a box.
"What is this?"
"I don't know, your father ordered it a week ago and it came this morning."
Lonzo nodded and took the package. from him.
"Thank you. I'll see you later!" he said, Ezra waved at the man and walked towards the elevator. Lonzo took his key again and held it up to the scanner inside and pressed his floor. Ezra was standing next to him as a man with his Chespin.
Chespin looked at Lonzo and smiled. "Hi, Lewis, hi Chespin." Lewis smiles and looks at the boy. "Hello, Lonzo. How are you?"
"I'm fine, I found this little guy in a forest." he said, looking at the Emation Pokémon and smiling."
"I have a Lucario. Maybe you and Riolu caan come over tomorrow so he, Lucario and Chespin can have a playdate."
Lonzo smiled. "Alright, it's a deal, my mom is coming back tomorrow afternoon, so. I can come to let's say… Eight?" Lonzo suggested.
"Alright, eight in the morning sounds good. you guys can go to the pool if you want to."
The elevator dinged, it stopped at their floor. "Alright, sounds good, Lewis. I'll see you later." he said, getting off the elevator and walking to his door. Lonzo walked to the one across from him and unlocked his door.
Ezra went inside after him. Lonzo placed the box down on the table. He grabbed a box cutter and opened it up. He opened the flaps and saw it and gasped. "No way! Ezra! my dad ordered a Pikachu squishmellow!" he said holding it up.
"Dude! It's so cute! your dad get this?"
"Yeah, I'll take a picture and send it to him." Lonzo grabbed his Rotom Phone, took the picture and sent it to his dad. He picked it up and set the Squishmellow on the couch. He sat on the couch, Riolu looked around the apartment and went to explore.
Riolu saw an open door and went inside it. He assumed this was Lonzo's room. He saw all the posters that hung on the wall of bands such as MXPX, MCR Blink-182 and some rappers like Emimem with his Chaizard, and Drake with his Greninja.
He walked into his room and saw the stunning view of Vermilion. with thin and wispy clouds in the sky. Riolu jumped up onto the bed and looked out the window at the amazing view.
Lonzo then walked into the room and he smiled at the sight. "You like my room?" he asked. Riolu nodded his head. He sat on the bed, while Lonzo took some clothes with him into the bathroom.
He walks into a spacious, modern bathroom with a large glass shower and a white sink. His eyes land on a large mirror hanging on the wall above the sink, providing ample lighting and reflection for those getting ready in the morning.
The bathroom is well-equipped, with a toilet located towards the left side of the room. Additionally, there are two potted plants in the room, adding a touch of greenery and natural beauty. The shower is positioned near the right side of the room, with a transparent door allowing for an open and airy feel.
Lonzo started the shower up, waiting for the water to get warm. He walked into his room to grab his speaker so he could connect his phone.
He connected it to Bluetooth. Lonzo picked out a song.
His Rotom Phone screen showed an Animated picture of Juice WRLD and The Kid Laroi. and on the bottom of the album said Reminds Me of You. [E]
Lonzo unpaused it and he jumped into the shower once the water was warm.
One hot shower later, he was out and he changed his clothes. He wore a short sleeved Pikachu T-shirt and a pair of cargo shorts. He then sat on the couch and turned on the TV, Regular Show — which was about an Articuno and a Zigzagoon trying to avoid work white their stickler boss was up their butts and they always got into trouble.
Lonzo watched the show, then Riolu walked up, wanting to join him. Lonzo took the remote off his lap, then his Pokémon climbed up and sat on him. Lonzo smiled at his partner and pets his head. He was so glad he found him.
Lonzo was asleep that night, Riolu was on his chest trying to sleep, but. The nightmares kept haunting him.
He's been having nightmares about these trainers for months seeing no end in sight. Every time he tells them about these dreams, he gets pushed to the side and they go back to bed, not even caring for him at all.
Lonzo was the only one who cared for him, came to his rescue when his old trainers abused him and threatened to leave him in the forest to "be someone else's burden on them"
Riolu's eyes shot open and was breathing heavily, not wanting to wake his trainer. He went out of the room and went out of the apartment, then. escaped the building.
"Riolu!" Lonzo called. It was around two in the morning, he was running around the city, his Pokémon was gone! He thought that he was kidnapped by Team Rocket, But. Jessie and James quit years ago. So it couldn't be them. Lonzo pulled out his Rotom Phone and called Ezra, Jayden and Leo.
Maybe they can help me in tracking down Riolu.
He called them.
"Guys! I need help!"
"Lonzo… It's two in the morning, what?" the sleepy voice of Jayden said, followed by the yawns of Ezra and Leo.
"Guys! listen! Come to the park now! Riolu is missing and I don't know where he is! I don't know if he got kidnapped or…" He stopped himself from getting a panic attack.
Leo nodded. "Alright, we're coming over."
"Thanks guys…You're the best."
Just then, they came. they had their PJs, Lonzo was in shorts and his slides. everyone else was wearing long pants and they had on their slides.
"Where do we start looking?"
"I don't-'' When he was about to continue, A car pulled up. It was a blue Honda Civic. A woman with Auburn hair, brown eyes and a kind smile walked out. She wore a brown PJ set. She was holding a RIolu in her arms.
"Lonzo?" The woman said.
